Teleconferencing has become an indispensable element in any business system, because it offers the opportunity for collaborators to participate in a virtual group while remaining in divergent regions. Teleconferencing also increases productivity, minimizes travel expenses and saves travel time. This paper presents a reliable Teleconference system that utilizes an improved high-efficiency video codec (HEVC) H.265 technology with congestion control. The improvement is based on CU size decision and entropy coding, which provides an adequate approach to enhance the real-time video/IP technology in terms of improved video quality and increased compression ratio compared to the previous codec (H.264) and original HEVC.  相似文献

In recent years, the ability to manage schedules using a mobile device equipped with a touch panel has increased. However, when one wishes to add a new event to the schedule book while taking into account the transit time for an existing event, it is necessary to switch to another application or website. In this study, we design a system that determines automatically whether the new event can be added. 全球范围的数字广播系统DRM(Digital Radio Mondiale),是一种针对30MHz以下频段的数字声音广播系统。和传统广播系统相比,DRM数字广播系统在声音质量上是模拟调幅广播无法比拟的。这其中的关键之一在于DRM系统引入了新的信源编解码技术——MPEG-4标准的AAC(Advanced Audio Coding,先进音频编码)。在分析符合DRM标准的AAC音频编码器原理基础上,提出了一种改进的离散余弦变换算法,并在PC上实现了基于该算法的AAC音频编码器。实验表明,该软件编码器能够满足DRM系统实时性要求。  相似文献

以实时获取空余车位和智慧分配车位为目标,基于射频识别技术和地理信息技术开发智慧停车系统原型。采用模糊决策矩阵,定量化驾驶员从当前位置到停车场的驾驶时间、停车费用、停车场至目的地的步行距离和停车场的空余车位数这4个车位分配影响因素的权重;在考虑空余车位有限和实时交通状况的前提下,提出带有4个条件矩阵的车位分配模型,并利用某市道路网、交通状况、停车场等数据在ArcGIS中进行模型实验,实验结果表明,该智慧停车系统具有一定的可行性和实际意义。  相似文献

The increasing need for sophisticated surveillance systems and the move to a digital infrastructure has transformed surveillance into a large scale data analysis and management challenge. Smart surveillance systems use automatic image understanding techniques to extract information from the surveillance data. While the majority of the research and commercial systems have focused on the information extraction aspect of the challenge, very few systems have explored the use of extracted information in the search, retrieval, data management and investigation context. The IBM smart surveillance system (S3) is one of the few advanced surveillance systems which provides not only the capability to automatically monitor a scene but also the capability to manage the surveillance data, perform event based retrieval, receive real time event alerts thru standard web infrastructure and extract long term statistical patterns of activity. The IBM S3 is easily customized to fit the requirements of different applications by using an open-standards based architecture for surveillance.  相似文献

High-efficiency video coding (HEVC) is a successor to the H.264/AVC standard as the newest video-coding standard using a quad-tree structure with the three block types of a coding unit (CU), a prediction unit (PU), and a transform unit (TU). This has become popular to apply to smart surveillance systems, because very high-quality image is needed to analyze and extract more precise features. On standard, the HEVC encoder uses all possible depth levels for determination of the lowest rate-distortion (RD) cost block. The HEVC encoder is more complex than the H.264/AVC standard. An efficient CU determination algorithm is proposed using spatial and temporal information in which 13 neighboring coding tree units (CTUs) are defined. Four CTUs are temporally located in the current CTU and the other nine neighboring CTUs are spatially situated in the current CTU. Based on the analysis of conditional probability values for SKIP and Merge modes, an optimal threshold value was determined for judging SKIP or Merge mode according to the CTU condition and an adaptive weighting factor. When SKIP or Merge modes were detected early, other mode searches were omitted. The proposed algorithm achieved approximately 35 % time saving with random-access configuration and 29 % time reduction with low-delay configuration while maintaining comparable rate-distortion performance, compared with HM 12.0 reference software.  相似文献

The dual absolute encoder (DAE) system is a measurement system for a motion control system that comprises two absolute encoders and one reduction mechanism. In terms of accuracy and measuring range, DAE is superior to ordinary dual encoder systems, which comprise one incremental encoder, one absolute encoder, and a reduction mechanism. In this study, we focus on the error measurement and compensation using DAE system. There have been many studies to measure and compensate for the errors in measuring systems. However, this typically demands high precision equipment to measure the errors, and attaching and detaching the equipment affects the errors. We measured the errors in the absolute encoder by using the DAE systems solely. The measured errors are modeled using harmonic functions and compensated for by using the modeled errors. The experimental results reveal that the maximum errors and mean absolute errors decrease by one-seventh and one-twelfth, respectively, after error compensation. As a result, we can compensate the errors in the encoders with the encoder system, itself. Additionally, the modeled errors in a DAE system are observed to remain constant even when changing the reduction ratios between two absolute encoders. Once the errors are measured and modeled in the DAE system, the modeled errors can be applied to a DAE system with a different reduction ratio for error compensation.

为了充分利用智能卡芯片有限的资源,开发出高效的、易扩充的芯片操作系统(COS),研究了智能卡COS设计和实现方法.介绍了智能卡COS的体系结构,设计了结构模型,从COS的主守护流程、通信管理、文件系统、安全管理和命令解释5个方面论述了智能卡COS的设计与实现.采用中断调度方式节省了系统开销,采用静态存储管理方式节约了存储空间.通过测试验证了COS符合国际标准和行业标准,该系统能正确应用在终端和相应网络环境中,具有良好的兼容性和稳定性.  相似文献

针对文件系统存储视频数据时存储效率低和检索性能差的问题,提出一种基于裸盘设备的视频数据专用存储方案,实现了视频数据的高效存储和秒级检索。针对多路视频流的并发写入控制,采用单线程非阻塞I/O复用技术和"乒乓缓冲"机制,避免多路视频流并发写入时的阻塞问题;针对视频监控系统媒体转发服务器的时钟漂移问题,采用基于两级索引的回馈定位技术,提高系统对服务器钟差的容错能力。系统测试结果表明,相对于文件存储,"时间索引+数据块"存储方式的视频检索效率不受数据规模大小影响,多路并发写入时,单线程非阻塞I/O复用和"乒乓缓冲"机制能有效避免阻塞现象的发生。  相似文献

We define a simple language which encapsulates the main concepts of SIMD data-parallel programming, and we give its operational semantics. This language includes a unique data-parallel control structure called multitype conditioning and escape. We show that it suffices to express all data-parallel extensions of usual scalar control structures of C, as found in C*, MPL, POMPC, etc. Moreover, we give a formal correctness proof for two different implementations of this new statement, respectively by a single context stack, and by a set of counters. Thus, this simple language appears as an interesting basis to study data-parallel SIMD programming methodology.  相似文献
