A method for predicting the complete time-domain vibration records of soil and structures prior to installation of foundations for impact machines is described in detail. A paper provides support for the validity of accepted assumptions about the use of impacts directly on the soil for estimating the impulse response functions, and the effect of load zone dimensions on soil vibrations. The procedures for experimental testing on a site and computing the predicted complete vibration records are developed. Resulting patterns of computed and measured vibrations are shown for block-type foundation and a foundation under a vibroisolated block for impact machine. Furthermore, the method enables us to consider the heterogeneity and variety of soil and structure properties. In particular, it is useful under nonuniform and complicated soil conditions for determination and verification of safe distances from machine foundations to objects sensitive to vibrations.  相似文献

Soil nailing has been widely used in many places in the world in the last two decades because of its technical and economical advantages. The nail–soil interface shear strength is an important parameter in soil nail design. This parameter is governed by a number of factors, among which the influence of the overburden pressure (or soil depth) is the most controversial. There are differing views concerning the effect of overburden on the nail–soil interface shear strength. In order to examine the influence of the overburden pressure, a series of laboratory pullout tests on soil nails installed in compacted completely decomposed granite fill have been conducted using two pullout boxes. Numerical simulations have also been carried out and the results are compared with the pullout test data. The procedures of the pullout tests and new features of the pullout boxes used are briefly described. Changes of the vertical stress in soil close to the nail throughout the course of soil nail installation and pullout are presented and discussed in detail. It is observed from the results of this study that the installation process of soil nail induced significant vertical stress changes in soil around the soil nails, and that the soil nail pullout shear resistance is independent of the overburden pressure (or soil depth).  相似文献

Redecking operations executed on urban bridges that experience large traffic volumes frequently require carefully orchestrated construction sequences carried out during times of nonpeak traffic. In such a construction environment, only bridge deck options that exhibit a high degree of modularity in conjunction with ease of installation are considered as viable options for a given redecking operation. As a further requirement, the deck installation must also be expected to perform essentially trouble free, with minimal maintenance, for very long periods of time in extremely harsh environments. The present research investigates the behavior of two new deck splice details for use in bridge applications involving precast concrete-filled steel grid deck panels. The research is primarily experimental in nature and is carried out using full-scale deck panel specimens. However, in an effort to better understand the experimental results, 3D finite-element models of the deck specimens are also constructed and studied. This paper summarizes the results from this experimental and analytical program of study.  相似文献

酒钢不锈钢冷轧二期大冷线基础分9块,全长270 m,底部标高最深为7.6 m。基础螺栓标高大致分三层近千根,由于设备安装精度要求高,螺栓相对尺寸及总尺寸的安装精度同样要求十分严格。为了保证螺栓的安装精度,从测量控制、螺栓固定架安装、螺栓安装、混凝土浇筑等几个方面进行了严格的控制。特别是定位控制,采用长短线相结合的方法,利用全站仪进行有效的控制,满足了规范的相关规定。  相似文献
