Summary On the basis of the above method of measurement, using expression (4), highly productive semiautomatic devices were made for sorting out bearings by their contact angles into three groups: small, good and large.The adoption by our industry of these measuring devices for checking the contact angles will raise considerably the quality and life of radial-thrust bearings.  相似文献

We have measured ac susceptibility, nuclear magnetic resonance, and nuclear heat capacity of two PtFe x samples with concentrations of magnetic impurities x = 11 ppm and 41 ppm at magnetic fields (0 ± 0.05) mTB248 mT. The susceptibility data have been measured at temperatures of 0.3 KT100 mK, no hint for nuclear magnetic ordering could be detected to a temperature of 0.3 K. The nuclear heat capacity data taken at 1.4 KT10 mK show enhanced values which scale with x at low polarization. This effect is described by a model assuming an internal magnetic field caused by the impurities. No indication for nuclear magnetic ordering could be detected to 1.4 K. The nuclear magnetic resonance experiments have been performed on these samples at 0.8 KT0.5 mK and 2.5 mTB22.8 mT as well as on three other samples with x = 5, 10, 31 ppm in a different setup at 40 KT0.5 mK and at 5.4 mTB200 mT. Spin-lattice and effective spin-spin relaxation times 1and 2 * of 195 Pt strongly depend on x and on the external magnetic field. No temperature dependence of 1and 2 * could be detected and the NMR data, too, give no hint for nuclear magnetic ordering to 0.8 K.  相似文献

Phase decomposition behaviour of liquid-quenched (bcc) type Ti-Cr alloys was investigated by means of transmission electron microscopy and hardness measurements. It was found that decomposition of to 1 (Ti-rich, bcc) + 2 (Ti-lean, bcc) takes place in the intermediate composition range of the Ti-Cr system. This experimental result proves the theoretical prediction made by Menon and Aaronson, but the observed 1 + 2 two-phase field expands towards higher temperatures than the predicted binodal line. The coherent 1 + 2 two-phase state exhibits the so-called 100 modulated structure and it was concluded that the formation of such a structure is a result of spinodal decomposition of the -phase. We obtained time-temperature-transformation (TTT) diagrams of -type Ti-30, 40 and 50 at % Cr alloys. A typical sequence of structural change is coherent 1 + 2 incoherent 1 + 2 incoherent 1 + 2 + grain boundary precipitates stable state of + TiCr2 or + TiCr2. Not all the states in the above sequence appear, depending on alloy composition, liquid-quenching rate and ageing temperature.  相似文献

The current achievements in the field of intensification of heat exchange in tube heatexchange apparatus are considered. Requirements for highefficiency heattransfer surfaces have been formulated. Problems of intensification of heat exchange in bundles of finned tubes and in heatexchange apparatus under conditions of condensation and boiling of heattransfer agents and under scaling conditions have been investigated. The total specific heat of YBa2Cu3O6.95 single crystals includes contributions from phonons and spin-1/2 particles, as well as electronic contributions. The electronic specific heat is described by a quadratic term T2 in zero field and a linear term [(0)+(H)]T which is increased when a magnetic field H is applied perpendicular to the CuO2 planes. In agreement with d-wave superconductivity, we find that n/Tc and (H)n(H/Hc2)1/2, where n is the coefficient of the normal-state linear term. The H1/2 dependence of the density of states at the Fermi level was predicted by G. Volovik for lines of nodes in the gap: the quasiparticles which contribute to this density of states are close to the nodes in momentum space and are located outside the vortex core.  相似文献

Four Ni-Co-Cr-Nb-V alloys containing varying amounts of vanadium were solution treated and then aged at 923, 1023 and 1123 K for various lengths of time. The structure of the solution treated alloys was single phase f c c. The presence of 1 wt% vanadium was adequate to promote the formation of metastable phase with a DO22 type of ordered b c t structure. An increase in ageing time and temperature, and a decrease in the vanadium/niobium ratio caused an increased amount of stable phase, with a Cu3Ti-type orthorhombic structure, to precipitate. The precipitation of the metastable phase has been explained in terms of the Engel-Brewer correlation.  相似文献

Multiphase Ni-Al-(Fe)-(Cr)-(Co)-based intermetallics with (B2)- (A1)/(L12), - or - microstructures can exhibit significant room-temperature tensile ductility. In the case of Ni-Al-Cr-based alloys, microstructural development is complicated by the precipitation of -Cr, which can supplant the -phase during ageing of three-phase -/ microstructures. An investigation of the stability, during ageing, of cast Ni-Al-Cr-(Co) alloys with microstructures derived from -/ is reported. In the as-cast condition, the materials investigated consisted of a dendritic matrix containing L10 type martensite and interdendritic /. Extensive intra- and interdendritic -Cr precipitation was also observed. The stability during ageing of the interdendritic / microstructure is also considered and transformation of the L10 martensite is examined.  相似文献

We developed the EPMA mapping method of small -AlFeSi(Al8.3Fe2Si) and -AlFeSi(Al8.9Fe2Si2) particles in the billets of Al-Mg-Si alloys such as AA6063 alloys. To discriminate between -AlFeSi and -AlFeSi particles we used the relative X-ray intensities of Fe/Si ratio, the I Fe/I Si ratio, instead of the Fe/Si mass ratio. To obtain the I Fe/I Si ratio, we used a Monte Carlo method. In this study, using this method the mapping of -AlFeSi and -AlFeSi particles in the surface layer of AA6063 billets after the heat treatment (for 2 h at 580°C) was done. Namely, the distribution of -AlFeSi and -AlFeSi particles of zones from the billet surface to a depth of 800 m was measured. Results showed the zone from the surface to a depth of 200 m was occupied mainly by -AlFeSi particles and the zone from a depth of 200 m toward the center was occupied mainly by -AlFeSi particles. From these results, it was found that if we remove zones from the surface to a depth of 200 m, we can remove the majority of the -AlFeSi particles, and thus improve the quality of anodizing performance of Al-Mg-Si alloys extrusions.  相似文献

The microstructures of Ti-Al layers (from 43–80 at %Al) produced by laser surface alloying of titanium substrate with a powder feed technique have been investigated. The laser processing parameters were; 1.8 kW laser power, 3 mm beam diameter, 7 mm s–1 traverse speed, and values of powder flow rates of aluminium ranging from 0.07–0.11 g s–1. The microstructures were dendrites of 2 and interdendritic regions of 2+ in the Ti-43 at %Al alloy; dendrites of either 2 or 2+ with interdendritic in the Ti-50 at %Al alloy; dendrites of 2+ with interdendritic in the Ti-55 at %Al alloy; single phase in the Ti-60 at %Al alloy and TiAl3 dendrites and Al solid solution in the interdendritic regions in the Ti-80 at %Al alloy. The microstructures were fine and comparable to those produced by other methods of rapid solidification processing. The microstructures of the Ti-50 and Ti-55 at %Al alloys were in agreement with the existence of the peritectic reactions:L + andL + , in the Ti-Al system.  相似文献

Tensile properties and plastic deformation modes of zirconium-niobium alloys were investigated at 290 and 77 K in the wide composition range from metastable to stable phase. Three types of plastic deformation modes, {332}113 twinning, {112}111 twinning and slip, were observed depending on alloy composition and temperature. {332}113 twinning, which occurs in metastable zirconium alloys, is related to the stability of phase to decomposition and leads to low yield stress and large elongation. On the other hand, {112}111 twinning, which appears in stable zirconium alloys, results from high critical stress for slip due to solution hardening and high Peierls stress and does not affect tensile properties significantly. The results obtained for zirconium-alloys are similar to those for titanium alloys, strongly suggesting that {332}113 twinning is an important plastic deformation mode which is common to phase alloys containing athermal phase.  相似文献

Based on the assumption that a phase-slip center in a clean quasi-one-dimensional superconductor excites a collective oscillation, the time-averaged value of the electrochemical potential of quasiparticles is calculated. At larger distances from the phase-slip center, swings below (or above) the electrochemical potential p of the Cooper pairs. This makes it possible to understand the unexpected results of previous measurements.  相似文献

Zinc–nickel alloys with 0 to 13 wt % of nickel were electrodeposited from a chloride bath. The structure and microstructure change of as-deposited alloys versus the nickel content in the deposits is shown here. From X-ray diffraction an electrodeposited phase diagram in which the substitution of Zn by Ni atoms in or structure induces a lattice distortion has been defined. In contrast to the thermodynamic phase diagram, the phase does not appear in as-deposited coatings. Two composition ranges have been defined, the first of which corresponds to the formation of a solid solution sursaturated in nickel (d) for the alloys containing up to 7.4 wt % of nickel. The second, corresponds to the formation of a phase out of equilibrium unsaturated in nickel. For an increase in nickel, the added atoms are preferentially incorporated into this unsaturated phase, and the d phase gradually disappears up to 13 wt % of nickel. The phase is obtained in electrodeposited alloys only after heat treatment at 200 °C. The phase recrystallized from metastable phases d and d.  相似文献

Fatigue crack propagation studies have been carried out on a range of WC-Co hardmetals of varying cobalt content and grain size using a constant-stress intensity factor double torsion test specimen geometry. Results have confirmed the marked influence of mean stress (throughK max), which is interpreted in terms of static modes of fracture occurring in conjunction with a true fatigue process, the existence of which can be rationalized through the absence of any frequency effect. Dramatic increases in fatigue crack growth rate are found asK max approaches that value of stress intensity factor ( 0.9KIC) for which static crack growth under monotonic load (or static fatigue) occurs in these materials. Lower crack growth rates, however, produce fractographic features indistinguishable from those resulting from fast fracture. These observations, and the important effect of increasing mean free path of the cobalt binder in reducing fatigue crack growth rate, can reasonably be explained through a consideration of the mechanism of fatigue crack advance through ligament rupture of the cobalt binder at the tip of a propagating crack.  相似文献

The first Ginzburg-Landau equation for the order parameter in the absence of magnetic fields is solved analytically for a superconducting slab of thickness 2d bordered by semi-infinite regions of normal metal at each face. The real-valued normalized wave function f=/ depends only on the transversal spatial coordinate x, normalized with respect to the coherence length of the superconductor, provided the de Gennes boundary condition df/dx=f/b is used. The closed-form solution expresses x as an elliptic integral of f, depending on the normalized parameters d and b. It is predicted theoretically that, for b< and ddc=arctan(1/b), the proximity effect is so strong that the superconductivity is completely suppressed. The problem of freezing of pure water in a round pipe is treated with due regard for convection under asymmetric thermal boundary conditions in the absence of motion along the pipe. The problem is solved numerically using the control volume approach, SIMPLER algorithm, and the enthalpy method. Results are obtained for three Grashof (Gr) and six Biot (Bi) numbers: Gr = 1.55 × 106, Bi = 0.305 (0 < ), Bi = 0.044 ( < 2); Gr = 1.24 × 107, Bi = 0.610 (0 < ), Bi = 0.087 ( < 2); Gr = 9.89 × 107, Bi = 1.220 (0 < ), Bi = 0.174 ( < 2). The correctness of calculation of the problem disregarding free-convection flows is analyzed.  相似文献

The effect of the grain size of the filler on the mechanical properties (compressive, bending, and tensile strength and modulus of elasticity) of synthetic graphite is analyzed using data for commercial structural graphites. As the mean particle size of the filler (av) decreases from 3000 to 1 m, the modulus of elasticity increases, on the average, from 10 to 15 GPa, and the compressive, bending, and tensile strength increases by about one order of magnitude. The Griffith equation is used to evaluate the size of defects that initiate fracture (c c) in different types of graphites. It is shown that the factors determining the critical defect size depend on the particle size of the filler. For av > 150 m, c c is comparable to av or max. In the range 30 < av < 150 m, c c is equal to or greater than max. In graphites with av < 30 m, c c far exceeds max and, presumably, corresponds to the particle size of the molding powder.  相似文献

The structure and strength of martensite in near titanium alloys have been studied in the composition range (wt %) up to 10% Zr, 6%, Al, 1/2% Mo, 2.4% Si. [0001], 1/3 11¯20 dislocations, 1/3 10¯10 stacking faults and approximately {10¯11} twin related martensite plates are found to be common features of the martensite. Martensite midribs consist either of finely transformed material between martensite plates, or regions of low dislocation density within martensite plates.The martensite morphology is related to the alloy composition, changing from massive to plate-like with increasing solute content. The strength of the martensite is controlled largely by solid solution strengthening.  相似文献

On the basis of computer-calculated yield functions, the work hardening of 100 textured Cu-0.64 at % Co-0.48 at % Si and 111 textured polycrystalline copper wires were studied by simultaneous torsion and extension and by pure extension. Representing the work hardening by resolved shear stress-resolved shear strain curves, the rate of hardening is significantly lower for torsion than for pure extension. This behaviour is explained by the operation of different slip systems activated in the two modes of deformation. In the 100 textured Cu-Co-Si wires, heterogeneous plastic deformation was observed beyond about 80% shear strain.  相似文献

Changes in the phase content, microstructure and lattice parameter are observed in stabilized/ alumina specimens following extended sintering and annealing treatments. The resulting state is dependent on composition of the starting powder and on temperature and duration of heat treatment; the kinetics of transformation between and alumina are generally slow and certain/ ceramics remain in a metastable state even after a prolonged high temperature anneal. Following post-sinter heat treatment, splitting of X-ray diffraction peaks reveals a segregation of the phase into two components of differing lattice parameter. With sintering schedules of a long duration the splitting may even be present in the as-fired condition as recently reported by Harbach [1]. The splitting is attributed to a structural change resulting from the expulsion of Na2O from supersaturated grains.  相似文献
