This paper presents a method based in mathematical morphology to enlarge images. It does not make the low pass assumption which is common to all linear interpolation methods and which does not often hold for images. Pixels in smooth areas are properly interpolated by linear methods while those at the edges are not. The method begins with a linear interpolation and a gradient computation. The gradient serves as a measure of confidence about the linear interpolation. Then, the proposed algorithm processes the pixels in a certain order: first pixels with high confidence (smooth zones) of the image and those with a low one (edges) at the end. By doing so, it preserves both slow variations and sharp edges. The method can be applied to other image processing problems, such as edge enhancement or motion vector estimation, where there is an image and confidence information about each pixel.  相似文献

为保证图像还原质量的情况下实现数字相机实时处理的功能,提出了一种基于梯度的单通道独立插值算法.通过引入绿色分量的水平、垂直梯度及梯度差值的阈值不仅可以使图像的边界信息得到更好的保存,也可以使平滑区域的色彩更加平滑.同时引入红色、蓝色分量的斜45°、斜135°方向的梯度作为边界判定的补充,保证三种颜色通道的边界都能得到有效判断,使整个图像边界变得更清晰.为验证算法的插值效果,采用Matlab进行仿真测试.仿真表明:该插值算法在平滑区和边界都能得到较理想的效果,相对最近邻插值和双线性插值边界,拉链现象明显降低.理论分析表明:该算法避免了复杂的乘除运算,易于硬件实现,且适宜于并行处理.  相似文献

提出了一种改进的H.264自适应帧内错误隐藏算法,使重建图像具有较好的平滑性,同时有效恢复了边缘信息。通过区域选择、亮度信号插值、块位置检测等方式,有效降低了解码运算量并解决了工程应用中的难点。在MATLAB和H.264标准测试平台JM86上分别进行验证,结果表明,该算法简单实用,适于实时处理,峰值信噪比高出一般传统方法 3 dB,改善了重建图像的主、客观质量,具有较高的应用价值.  相似文献

Color filter array demosaicking: new method and performance measures   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
Single-sensor digital cameras capture imagery by covering the sensor surface with a color filter array (CFA) such that each sensor pixel only samples one of three primary color values. To render a full-color image, an interpolation process, commonly referred to as CFA demosaicking, is required to estimate the other two missing color values at each pixel. In this paper, we present two contributions to the CFA demosaicking: a new and improved CFA demosaicking method for producing high quality color images and new image measures for quantifying the performance of demosaicking methods. The proposed demosaicking method consists of two successive steps: an interpolation step that estimates missing color values by exploiting spatial and spectral correlations among neighboring pixels, and a post-processing step that suppresses noticeable demosaicking artifacts by adaptive median filtering. Moreover, in recognition of the limitations of current image measures, we propose two types of image measures to quantify the performance of different demosaicking methods; the first type evaluates the fidelity of demosaicked images by computing the peak signal-to-noise ratio and CIELAB /spl utri/E/sup *//sub ab/ for edge and smooth regions separately, and the second type accounts for one major demosaicking artifact-zipper effect. We gauge the proposed demosaicking method and image measures using several existing methods as benchmarks, and demonstrate their efficacy using a variety of test images.  相似文献

A novel edge detection algorithm for color images was described in this paper. In the proposed method, smoothness of each pixel in color image is firstly calculated by means of similarity relation matrix and is normalized to maximum gray level. In other words, color image in three-dimensional color spaces is mapped into one dimension. Accordingly the edges are performed in such a way that pixels lower than thresholds are assigned to be edge. Thus with proposed method, edge pixels in a color image are detected simultaneously without any complex calculations such as gradient, Laplace and statistical calculations.  相似文献

在某些应用领域,常常需要得到目标的高分辨率图像,考虑到在这些应用场合中,往往可以获得对同一景物或目标的多帧图像,本文提出了一种基于亚像素级图像配准与类似于中值滤波插值的从多幅低分辨率(LR)图像中获取一幅高分辨率(HR)图像的算法。算法首先采用梯度方法计算出LR图像之间的位移量,经过图像配准后,每个HR像素点被赋予其作用域内所有LR像点值的中值。仿真结果表明,该算法简单有效,既能提高图像分辨率,又能较好地去除非线性噪声。  相似文献

This paper presents a new algorithm based on the Mumford-Shah model for simultaneously detecting the edge features of two images and jointly estimating a consistent set of transformations to match them. Compared to the current asymmetric methods in the literature, this fully symmetric method allows one to determine one-to-one correspondences between the edge features of two images. The entire variational model is realized in a multiscale framework of the finite element approximation. The optimization process is guided by an estimation minimization-type algorithm and an adaptive generalized gradient flow to guarantee a fast and smooth relaxation. The algorithm is tested on T1 and T2 magnetic resonance image data to study the parameter setting. We also present promising results of four applications of the proposed algorithm: interobject monomodal registration, retinal image registration, matching digital photographs of neurosurgery with its volume data, and motion estimation for frame interpolation.  相似文献

A new method for detecting and suppressing impulsive noise in color images is presented in this paper. The proposed method is a type of switching vector filters, where the impulse detection is based on the order-statistic information about the color samples in the horizontal, vertical, and diagonal directions. The new solution first uses quaternion-based representation of color differences and median deviation-based techniques to search for the edge direction with the maximum number of similar pixels, and then utilizes the samples aligning with this edge direction to judge whether the current pixel is noisy or not and control the switching between identity (no filtering) and vector median filtering actions. Extensive experimental comparisons exhibit the validity of the proposed approach by showing significant performance improvements over other well-known color image filtering techniques.  相似文献

为了解决当前图像伪造定位技术因使用了CFA 插值,易形成颜色插值噪声而降低分辨率,导致其难以检测微小篡改区域,使其伪造检测精度较低等不足,本文提出了像素预测误差耦合似然映射的图像伪造检测算法。首先,分析颜色滤波阵列CFA插值模型,并从图像中提取绿色分量;随后,嵌入权重因子,构造预测误差及其权重方差计算模型;根据预测误差与贝叶斯理论,定义伪造特征统计模型,识别出趋于零的特征值;最后,根据特征统计模型,建立其似然率模型,输出伪造映射,完成检测。仿真结果表明:与当前图像伪造定位机制相比,本文算法拥有更强的鲁棒性,能识别定位出微小伪造像素;且拥有更高的AUC值与理想的ROC曲线。  相似文献

We present an interpolation algorithm for adaptive color image zooming. The algorithm produces the magnified image in one scan of the input image, and is fully automatic since does not involve any a priori fixed threshold. Given any integer zooming factor n, each pixel of the input image generates an n×n block of pixels in the zoomed image. For the currently visited pixel of the input image, the pixels of its associated block are first assigned tentative values, which are then adaptively updated before building the next block. The method is suggested for RGB images, but can equally be employed in other color spaces. Peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) and Structural SIMilarity (SSIM) are used to evaluate the performance of the algorithm.  相似文献

Applying an interpolation function indiscriminately to an image, to resample it, will generally result in aliasing, edge blurring and other artefacts. The authors present an adaptive resampling algorithm for zooming up images. The algorithm is based on analysing the local structure of the image and applying a near optimal and least time-consuming resampling function will preserve edge locations and their contrast. This is done by segmenting the image dynamically into homogeneous areas, as it is scanned or received. Based on the location of the pixel to be computed (whether it is within a homogenous area, is on its edge or is an isolated feature), interpolation, extrapolation or pixel replication is chosen. The algorithm performance, from both a quality and a computational complexity aspect, are compared to different methods and functions previously reported in the literature. 单CCD/CMOS 传感器相机捕捉图像信息靠在传感器表面覆盖一层颜色滤波阵列(CFA),经过CFA 后每个像素点只能获得物理三基色(红,绿,蓝)其中一种分量。另外缺少的两种颜色分量,需要通过周围像素的值来估算。首先利用55 模板内的像素来估计插值的方向并用最优的权重系数来插值G 分量。其次利用了基于有理函数的二维插值算子在色差空间插值R(B)处缺少的B(R)分量。再次利用色差插值G 处缺少的R 和B 分量。最后,使用方差约束条件,迭代插值过程被重复多次直到达到了最优的插值结果。通过在24 幅柯达图片以及笔者相机拍摄的图片上的Matlab 仿真实验,结果显示,被提出的算法无论是在视觉方面还是在量化的数据方面都表现出了优势。  相似文献

单传感器数码相机得到的色彩图像在每一个像素点处只有一种色彩值,为了得到一幅全彩色图像,需要在每一个像素位置上估计出另外两个缺失的色彩值。现有主要算法都是利用像素的相关性进行估计和插值,在那些边缘色彩跳变处和色彩高饱和度处容易估计失误,出现所谓的马赛克失真。为了克服这类马赛克现象,本文提出了一种利用图像的非局部相似性,即利用处于图像中不同位置处的像素点往往表现出很强的相关性这一特点,结合图像内容的局部平坦度自适应去马赛克的插值算法。该算法,首先根据相似度函数搜索与被插像素最相似的像素,然后利用区域水平和垂直方向的梯度组算子来计算区域的平坦度,从而根据相似程度和平坦度自适应地选择图像块进行插值。实验结果表明,相对于传统插值算法,该算法提高了图像的峰值信噪比,锐化了图像的纹理和边缘,减少了虚假色和锯齿现象,改善了图像的视觉效果。   相似文献

Without demosaicing processing, this paper first proposes a new approach to extract more accurate gradient/edge information on mosaic images directly. Next, based on spectral-spatial correlation, a novel adaptive heterogeneity-projection with proper mask size for each pixel is presented. Combining the extracted gradient/edge information and the adaptive heterogeneity-projection values, a new edge-sensing demosaicing algorithm is presented. Based on 24 popular testing images, experimental results demonstrated that our proposed high-quality demosaicing algorithm has the best image quality performance when compared with several recently published algorithms.   相似文献

针对传统边缘检测算法边缘信息保留不完整与边缘点定位不精确的问题,提出了一种基于二次曲面拟合的子像素边缘检测算法。利用拟合法求得子像素图,其抗干扰性强,检测位置较准确,并在此基础上利用改进的Canny算子精确地判断图像边缘位置。实验结果表明,该算法不仅提高了图像的边缘信息保留能力,且图像边缘光滑,边缘点定位精确,细节信息完全。  相似文献

In this paper, we present a nonlinear interpolation scheme for still image resolution enhancement. The algorithm is based on a source model emphasizing the visual integrity of detected edges and incorporates a novel edge fitting operator that has been developed for this application. A small neighborhood about each pixel in the low-resolution image is first mapped to a best-fit continuous space step edge. The bilevel approximation serves as a local template on which the higher resolution sampling grid can then be superimposed (where disputed values in regions of local window overlap are averaged to smooth errors). The result is an image of increased resolution with noticeably sharper edges and, in all tried cases, lower mean-squared reconstruction error than that produced by linear techniques.  相似文献

基于彩色滤波阵列(CFA)的图像传感器在每个像素 位置获得三原色红(R)、绿(G)和蓝(B)中的一种分量 ,其缺失 分量需要根据周围像素插值得到。目前提出的许多种插值算法,绝大部分采用Bayer排列模 式。本文在色 差恒定假设基础上,提出一种基于双边滤波器的自适应Bayer模型插值算法,对G通道的估计采 用自适应滤波器进行插值,对R和B通道的插值采用双边滤波器。算法利用待插值像素 与不同距离像 素相关性不同的思想,根据图像边缘自适应设定滤波模板,能较准确估计G、B和R、G通 道之间的色差值。 实验结果表明,对比多尺度色差梯度算法和边缘强度滤波等算法,插值后的图像不仅 主观视觉, 且客观评价指标(彩色峰值信噪比,CPSNR)均优于这些算法。  相似文献

本文提出了一种改进图像插值的方法,该方法通过提取低分辨率图像的协方差矩阵和协方差向量估算出高分辨率图像的相应参数,然后经过内插得到高分辨率图像。其突出优点是它的边缘自适应特性。经过实验证明,用这种方法获得的高分辨率图像和其他方法相比,图像的峰值信噪比(PSNR)有显著提高。在图像边缘模糊和阶梯形失真不仅比传统的线性内插方法有所降低,即使与基于凸面投影(POCS)等方法相比图像也更加清晰。同时由于算法避免了复杂的迭代计算,因而运算的速度更快。  相似文献
