光突发交换(OBS)技术由于结合了电的灵活处理和光的高速传输,成为构建下一代全光互联干线网最具前景的交换方式,其单向资源预留方式导致的突发包冲突是限制OBS走向实用的关键。基于突发包分段的光缓存冲突解决方法和基于突发包分段的波长转换冲突解决方法,首先通过对低优先级突发包进行分段解决冲突,然后对分段后冲突部分突发包进行光缓存或波长转换降低丢包率。对基于突发包分段的光缓存和基于突发包分段的波长转换两种冲突解决机制的性能进行了比较研究,仿真结果显示:两种机制都能够有效地降低整个网络的丢包率。当网络负荷较高时,采用基于突发包分段的光缓存方法对降低突发包的丢失率效果比较明显;当网络负荷较低时,采用基于突发包分段的波长转换方法能够更加有效地降低突发包的丢失率。  相似文献

光突发交换网络(OBS)是一种IP over WDM的光交换技术,能很好地支持突发业务。OBS系统采用单向波长资源预留方式为突发数据分组预留前向数据波长通道,这样提高了传输交换效率、减少了建链时间,但同时因路由连接的非确定性而引起突发分组的易丢失性。所以QoS戍为OBS网络中的最亟需解决的问题。对OBS网络所采取的多种改善其QoS的策略进行了研究。  相似文献

本文讨论了基于动态波长路由技术的光突发交换网络(DWR-OBS)中业务服务质量的关键技术,从传输时延和数据包的丢失率两个方面对DWR-OBS网的QoS进行分析,给出了数据传输时延和边缘节点的缓存容量之间定量的数学关系,详细分析了一种新的动态首选波长集(D-PWS)资源预留算法,给出了基于D-PWS预留算法的完全候选路径集(E-CPS)业务信道分配方案,用以控制DWR-OBS网络中各优先级业务的丢失率。使用OPNET Modeler对DWR-OBS网络进行仿真,并且讨论仿真结果。  相似文献

为了有效地降低突发包的丢失率和保证OBS网络中不同优先级业务的服务质量,提出了一种基于优先级的先分割后缓存冲突解决方法。该方法通过在多波长信道系统的输出数据信道上设置光纤延迟线组来缓存被分割的冲突突发包。当冲突发生时,首先基于突发包的优先级和处理完毕时间进行"竞争突发包头部分割或者原突发包尾部分割"处理;无冲突部分进行交换或者直接在事先预留的输出数据信道上处理,冲突部分的分割突发包进行光缓存。仿真结果表明,多波长信道系统中,高优先级突发包的丢失率低于低优先级突发包的丢失率。同时该方法在一定程度上可以有效地减少端到端的传输时延和整个网络的丢包率,从而提高整个OBS网络的性能。  相似文献

在光突发交换(OBS)网络中,突发竞争是影响网络性能的一个重要因素,因此如何有效地解决它,成了OBS网络非常重要的问题.在分析当前文献中的解决方案的优缺点后,提出了一种突发竞争解决方案的系统实现.该实现将光纤延迟线(FDL)时城缓存与波长转换器(TWC)波长变换、空城技术结合在一起,构造了一个基于前向转发缓存和反馈循环缓存的两级交换结构.最后从多方面对该系统实现的竞争解决有效性进行了性能分析和计算机仿真,结果表明:它在适当的业务强度(小于0.6)下,能有效改善突发丢失率和突发延迟;同时能降低系统所需的光器件数目.  相似文献

将BD法结合波长资源预留算法提出一种新的突发竞争解决方案。该方案通过在突发竞争时牺牲低优先级突发的传输完整性,以保证高优先级的业务的丢失率,同时降低了传输时延。最后对基于BD法的突发竞争解决方案进行了网络仿真,并和传统的传统基于额外偏置时间(JET)的方案比较,结果表明在平均数据丢失率相当的前提下,改进的BD法能有效的降低突发包的端对端时延。  相似文献

Optical burst switching (OBS) is one of the most important switching technologies for future optical wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) networks and the Internet. The model of differentiated services has been proposed to support quality of service (QoS) in the IP‐based Internet. It is also very important to have differentiated service support in OBS networks. When the burst scheduling in an OBS network is set up appropriately, network can support differentiated services. In this paper, we proposed a new burst scheduling scheme, called differentiated scheduling with identical priority offset time (DSIPO). In DSIPO, the same priority offset time is used for all the bursts destined to the same edge node regardless of their priorities. Differentiated services in terms of burst loss probability are achieved by processing the control packets of higher priority class bursts, thus reserving resources for their data bursts, more promptly upon their arrival than those of lower priority class bursts. Each intermediate (core) node can adjust the burst loss probabilities of various burst classes by choosing its own differentiated processing delay value for each priority class or its own differentiated processing delay difference value between any pair of adjacent priority classes. We model and analyse DSIPO in terms of the burst loss probability for each priority class with simulation validation. The performance of DISPO is evaluated by simulation. Based on a media access and control(MAC)protocol,an arrangement of channels and transceivers in optical packet switching dense wavelength division multiplexing(DWDM)networks is proposed in this paper.In order to reduce the cost of nodes,fixed transmitters and receivers are used instead of tunable transmitters and receivers.Two fixed transmitters and many fixed receivers are used in each node in the scheme.The average waiting delay of this scheme is analyzed through mathematics and computer simulation.The result shows that the property of the scheme is almost the same as using tunable transmitter and receiver.Furthermore,if the tuning time of tunable transmitters is taken into account,the performance of the tunable transmitter scheme is poor than this scheme at the average waiting delay and throughput of the network.  相似文献

提出了一种基于突发丢失门限的条件偏射路由算法(LDFD),该算法采用丢弃少量偏射的高优先级突发来保证偏射路由上较低优先级非偏射突发的服务质量(QoS)。当偏射的高优先级突发到达核心节点而该节点没有空闲数据信道时,就启用定义的偏射条件检测函数来判断是丢弃该突发还是允许其抢占非偏射的低优先级突发的资源,从而减少偏射突发与偏射路由上原有突发的竞争。仿真表明,该算法可以很好地控制偏射突发对偏射路由上正常流量的影响,并有效地提高整个网络的突发丢失性能。  相似文献

The concept of optical burst switching (OBS) aims to allow access to optical bandwidth in dense wavelength division multiplexed (DWDM) networks at fractions of the optical line rate to improve bandwidth utilization efficiency. This paper studies an alternative network architecture combining OBS with dynamic wavelength allocation under fast circuit switching to provide a scalable optical architecture with a guaranteed QoS in the presence of dynamic and bursty traffic loads. In the proposed architecture, all processing and buffering are concentrated at the network edge and bursts are routed over an optical transport core using dynamic wavelength assignment. It is assumed that there are no buffers or wavelength conversion in core nodes and that fast tuneable laser sources are used in the edge routers. This eliminates the forwarding bottleneck of electronic routers in DWDM networks for terabit-per-second throughput and guarantees forwarding with predefined delay at the edge and latency due only to propagation time in the core. The edge burst aggregation mechanisms are evaluated for a range of traffic statistics to identify their impact on the allowable burst lengths, required buffer size and achievable edge delays. Bandwidth utilization and wavelength reuse are introduced as new parameters characterizing the network performance in the case of dynamic wavelength allocation. Based on an analytical model, upper bounds for these parameters are derived to quantify the advantages of wavelength channel reuse, including the influence of the signaling round-trip time required for lightpath reservation. The results allow to quantify the operational gain achievable with fast wavelength switching compared to quasistatic wavelength-routed optical networks and can be applied to the design of future optical network architectures  相似文献
