多通道干涉(MCI)激光器是一种新型单片集成的大范围可调谐半导体激光器。它采用多臂干涉增强而无需光栅的选模方式,具有制作简单和容差大的优势;采用偏置量子阱技术进行有源无源集成,降低了二次外延的难度。为满足光通信不同场景的应用需求,分别设计研制了大范围可调的电调谐和热调谐MCI激光器。基于电调谐的MCI激光器实现了48.8 nm的波长调谐范围,洛伦兹线宽小于350 kHz。基于热调谐的MCI激光器在双工作温度下的波长调谐范围大于60 nm,总热调谐功率小于35 mW,整个调谐范围内洛伦兹线宽小于100 kHz。同时,研究推进了其稳定控制及集成化工作,实现了基于热调谐MCI激光器的nano-ITLA。 相似文献

() ()基金项目: 。摘要:为了实现高稳定性的可调谐激光输出,提出并设计了一种基于Mach-Zehnder(M-Z)滤波结构,结合Fabry-Perot(F-P)滤波器的可调谐掺铒光纤激光器,并对激光器的原理及实现方案进行理论分析和实验验证。所设计激光器系统的泵浦源工作波长为976 nm;长度5 m的掺铒光纤作为增益介质;采用全光纤M-Z结构进行滤波,并结合F-P滤波器实现单波长激光可调谐输出。实验中,通过调节F-P滤波器,在泵浦功率为60 mW时,实现了1547~1568 nm范围内单波长激光的稳定可调谐输出,波长调谐间隔小于1.7 nm,每个输出波长的边模抑制比均大于55 dB,线宽均小于0.1 nm。 相似文献

目前光纤通信系统所用的激光器都是固定波长激光器,这种激光器一旦制作好,波长便难以改变。而在密集波分复用(DWDM)系统中需要若干不同波长的激光二极管(LD)作光源,这样便需要制作若干个不同波长的固定波长激光器,不仅工艺制作困难,而且成本也增加。如能制作出在较宽波长范围内其波长可以任意调节的LD,便可采用同一结构制作出满足一系列波长要求的光源。目前,可调波长激光器已成为激光二极管研发的热点。按其波长可调激光器的工作原理可分为机械、电和热调谐,若按其结构可分为外腔型半导体激光器、电调谐半导体激光器和热调谐半导体激光器。 相似文献

报道了一种结构简单、调谐方便的宽带可调谐Er3+/Yb3+共掺光纤激光器.采用半导体激光二极管(LD)作为抽运源,以大模面积Er+/Yb3+共掺双包层光纤为增益介质,利用闪耀光栅作为波长选择器件,实现了1550 nm波段稳定的可调谐激光输出,调谐范围达36 nm,几乎覆盖了整个荧光谱宽度.整个调谐范围内,输出激光线宽小于0.08 nm.输出功率随波长的变化而变化,在25 nm调谐范围内激光功率不低于400 mw.波长为1543.86 nm时获得最大输出功率510 mW,斜率效率为26%.这种光纤激光器具有效率高、线宽窄、调谐范围大、输出稳定等优点,可用于密集波分复用(DWDM)光纤通信系统和高精度光纤传感系统. 相似文献

A stabilized and tunable single-longitudinal-mode erbium-doped fiber ring laser has been proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The laser is structured by combining the compound cavity with a fiber Fabry-Peacuterot tunable filter. An injection-locking technique has been used to stabilize the wavelength and output power of the laser. One of the longitudinal modes is stimulated by the injected continuous wave so that this mode is able to win the competition to stabilize the system. A minimum output power of 0.6 dBm and a signal-to-noise ratio of over 43 dB within the tuning range of 1527-1562 nm can be achieved with the proposed technique. A wavelength variation of less than 0.01 nm, a power fluctuation of less than 0.02 dB, and a short-term linewidth of about 1.4 kHz have also been obtained 相似文献

A new tunable laser structure using a single electroabsorption (EA) tuning super structure grating section for fast wavelength switching operation, has been realized. The tuning mechanism of this absorption change distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) laser is based on a localized absorption variation induced in a multielectrode EA-SSG section. These devices exhibit a 2.5-nm tuning range with three modes and a switching time, between two successive wavelength channels, shorter than 250 ps. By using a broad-band fiber mirror (BFM) and a tunable fiber-Bragg-grating at either end of laser cavity, a wavelength tunable erbium-doped fiber laser is demonstrated. In a forward pump scheme using 100 mW pump power at 1480 nm, stable lasing output power of 21.14-mW measured at 1544.8 nm is obtained with a threshold pump power of 4.7 mW. A side-mode suppression ratio as high as 57.9 dB, wavelength tuning range up to 30 nm with step resolution of 0.2 nm and power variation less than plusmn1.0 dB are achieved. For a backward pump scheme, the BFM acts as a broad-band reflector both for the lasing signal and pump source. The high performance, cost-effective BFM based tunable fiber laser may play an important role in fiber optics communication and fiber sensing applications. 相似文献

研究了掺铒光纤环形腔激光器(EDFRL)的注入锁定现象,提出了一种实现可调谐的单纵模EDFRL波长及功率稳定的新方法,即利用注入锁定技术向法布里-珀罗可调滤波器结合复合腔结构的EDFRL腔内注入低功率的连续光,使某一纵模在注入连续光的基础上起振.这个纵模在对增益介质的竞争中可以稳定地占据优势,从而与注入信号发生锁定,实现激光器输出光谱的稳定.实验得到激光器在1527.4~1561.9 nm范围内波长可调,输出功率>0.6 dBm,信噪比(SNR)>43 dB;输出光波长与功率抖动分别<0.01 nm和≤0.02 dB,且线宽约为1.4 kHz. 相似文献
