Excited state characters and components play a decisive role in photoluminescence (PL) and electroluminescence (EL) properties of organic light‐emitting materials (OLEDS). Charge‐transfer (CT) state is beneficial to enhance the singlet exciton utilizations in fluorescent OLEDs by an activated reverse intersystem crossing process, due to the minimized singlet and triplet energy splitting in CT excitons. However, the dominant CT component in the emissive state significantly reduces the PL efficiency in such materials. Here, the strategy is to carry out a fine excited state modulation, aiming to reach a golden combination of the high PL efficiency locally emissive (LE) component and the high exciton utilizing CT component in one excited state. As a result, a quasi‐equivalent hybridization of LE and CT components is obtained in the emissive state upon the addition of only an extra phenyl ring in the newly synthesized material 4‐[2‐(4′‐diphenylamino‐biphenyl‐4‐yl)‐phenanthro[9,10‐d]imidazol‐1‐yl]‐benzonitrile (TBPMCN), and the nondoped OLED of TBPMCN exhibited a record‐setting performance: a pure blue emission with a Commission Internationale de L'Eclairage coordinate of (0.16, 0.16), a high external quantum efficiency of 7.8%, and a high yield of singlet exciton of 97% without delayed fluorescence phenomenon. The excited state modulation could be a practical way to design low‐cost, high‐efficiency fluorescent OLED materials.  相似文献

A new dicyanodistyrylbenzene‐based phasmidic molecule, (2Z,2′Z)‐2,2′‐(1,4‐phenylene)bis(3‐(3,4,5‐tris(dodecyloxy)phenyl)acrylonitrile), GDCS, is reported, which forms a hexagonal columnar liquid crystal (LC) phase at room temperature (RT). GDCS molecules self‐assemble into supramolecular disks consisting of a pair of molecules in a side‐by‐side disposition assisted by secondary bonding interactions of the lateral polar cyano group, which, in turn, constitute the hexagonal columnar LC structure. GDCS shows very intense green/yellow fluorescence in liquid/solid crystalline states, respectively, in contrast to the total absence of fluorescence emission in the isotropic melt state according to the characteristic aggregation‐induced enhanced emission (AIEE) behavior. The AIEE and two‐color luminescence thermochromism of GDCS are attributed to the peculiar intra‐ and intermolecular interactions of dipolar cyanostilbene units. It was found that the intramolecular planarization and restricted molecular motion associated with a specific stacking situation in the liquid/solid crystalline phases are responsible for the AIEE phenomenon. The origin of the two‐color luminescence was elucidated to be due to the interdisk stacking alteration in a given column driven by the specific local dipole coupling between molecular disks. These stacking changes, in turn, resulted in the different degree of excited‐state dimeric coupling to give different emission colors. To understand the complicated photophysical properties of GDCS, temperature‐dependent steady‐state and time‐resolved PL measurements have been comprehensively carried out. Uniaxially aligned and highly fluorescent LC and crystalline microwires of GDCS are fabricated by using the micromolding in capillaries (MIMIC) method. Significantly enhanced electrical conductivity (0.8 × 10?5 S?cm?1/3.9 × 10?5 S?cm?1) of the aligned LC/crystal microwires were obtained over that of multi‐domain LC sample, because of the almost perfect shear alignment of the LC material achieved in the MIMIC mold.  相似文献

The development of efficient near‐infrared (NIR) emitting material is of current focus. Donor–acceptor (D–A) architecture has been proved to be an effective strategy to obtain narrow energy gap. Herein, a D–A‐type NIR fluorescent compound 2,3‐bis(4′‐(diphenylamino)‐[1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4‐yl)fumaronitrile (TPATCN) is synthesized and fully characterized. As revealed by theoretical calculations and photophysical experiments, TPATCN exerts the advantages of the relatively large dipole moment of the charge transfer state and a certain degree of orbital overlap of the local excited state. A highly mixed or hybrid local and charge transfer excited state might occur to simultaneously achieve both a large fraction of singlet formation and a high quantum efficiency in D–A system. TPATCN exhibits strong NIR fluorescence with the corresponding thin film quantum efficiency of 33% and the crystal efficiency of 72%. Remarkably, the external quantum efficiency of nondoped NIR organic light‐emitting diode (OLED) reaches 2.58% and remains fairly constant over a range of 100–300 mA cm?2, which is among the best results for NIR OLEDs reported so far.  相似文献

The unique and unprecedented electroluminescence behavior of the white‐emitting molecule 3‐(1‐(4‐(4‐(2‐(2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐4,5‐diphenyl‐1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)phenoxy)phenyl)‐4,5‐diphenyl‐1H‐imidazol‐2‐yl)naphthalen‐2‐ol (W1), fluorescence emission from which is controlled by the excited‐state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) is investigated. W1 is composed of covalently linked blue‐ and yellow‐color emitting ESIPT moieties between which energy transfer is entirely frustrated. It is demonstrated that different emission colors (blue, yellow, and white) can be generated from the identical emitter W1 in organic light‐emitting diode (OLED) devices. Charge trapping mechanism is proposed to explain such a unique color‐tuned emission from W1. Finally, the device structure to create a color‐stable, color reproducible, and simple‐structured white organic light‐emitting diode (WOLED) using W1 is investigated. The maximum luminance efficiency, power efficiency, and luminance of the WOLED were 3.10 cd A?1, 2.20 lm W?1, 1 092 cd m?2, respectively. The WOLED shows white‐light emission with the Commission Internationale de l′Eclairage (CIE) chromaticity coordinates (0.343, 0.291) at a current level of 10 mA cm?2. The emission color is high stability, with a change of the CIE chromaticity coordinates as small as (0.028, 0.028) when the current level is varied from 10 to 100 mA cm?2.  相似文献

The molecular crystals of acridonyl‐tetraphenylethene (AD‐TPE) exhibit an intriguing turn‐on and color‐tuned luminescence in response to mechanical grinding and hydrostatic compression. On the basis of in‐depth experimental and computational studies, it is hypothesized that the origin of the piezochromic behavior from the D‐phase to the B‐phase is the change of the intramolecular geometrical conformation, especially for the torsion angle between the TPE and AD moiety. The different molecular conformation in the two distinctive solid phases causes the substantial switching of the intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) process, which can be directly correlated with the subsequent fluorescence from locally excited (LE) state and ICT state in both phases. The AD‐TPE molecular system presents a very rare example of high‐contrast reversible fluorescence tuning driven by a switching of the excited state in the solid state under the mechanical stimuli, and thus provides a novel mechanism of the piezochromic behavior.  相似文献

The organic material 4,4′‐bis[(N‐carbazole)styryl]biphenyl (BSBCz) is an excellent gain medium for laser devices. However, BSBCz laser output quickly degrades during photoexcitation, which is an issue that must be overcome before it can be used for practical applications. In this study, the photodegradation mechanisms of BSBCz are investigated with the aim of enhancing its excited‐state stability. The photodegradation of BSBCz is attributed to instability of the triplet excited states that would occasionally decompose into other species. This decomposition reduces absorption and introduces exciton quenchers. Incorporating the triplet managing material 9,10‐di(naphtha‐2‐yl)anthracene (ADN) into BSBCz films greatly improves photoluminescence and amplified spontaneous emission stability because of the effective removal of the unstable triplets by ADN. This triplet managing method makes it possible to increase operational stability for BSBCz‐based organic light‐emitting diodes. Therefore, these results will contribute toward the fabrication of stable optically and electrically pumped organic laser diodes.  相似文献

Actualizing full singlet exciton yield via a reverse intersystem crossing from the high‐lying triplet state to singlet state, namely, “hot exciton” mechanism, holds great potential for high‐performance fluorescent organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs). However, incorporating comprehensive insights into the mechanism and effective molecular design strategies still remains challenging. Herein, three blue emitters (CNNPI, 2TriPE‐CNNPI, and 2CzPh‐CNNPI) with a distinct local excited (LE) state and charge‐transfer (CT) state distributions in excited states are designed and synthesized. They show prominent hybridized local and charge‐transfer (HLCT) states and aggregation‐induced emission enhancement properties. The “hot exciton” mechanism based on these emitters reveals that a balanced LE/CT distribution can simultaneously boost photoluminescence efficiency and exciton utilization. In particular, a nearly 100% exciton utilization is achieved in the electroluminescence (EL) process of 2CzPh‐CNNPI. Moreover, employing 2CzPh‐CNNPI as the emitter, emissive dopant, and sensitizing host, respectively, the EL performances of the corresponding nondoped pure‐blue, doped deep‐blue, and HLCT‐sensitized fluorescent OLEDs are among the most efficient OLEDs with a “hot exciton” mechanism to date. These results could shed light on the design principles for “hot exciton” materials and inspire the development of next‐generation high‐performance OLEDs.  相似文献

Two compounds, 2,3‐dicyano‐5,6‐di(4′‐diphenylamino‐biphenyl‐4‐yl)pyrazine (CAPP) and 6,7‐dicyano‐2,3‐di(4′‐diphenylamino‐biphenyl‐4‐yl)quinoxaline (CAPQ), capable of intramolecular charge transfer, have been designed and synthesized in high yield by a convenient procedure. The compounds have been fully characterized spectroscopically. They have a high thermal stability and show bright light emission both in non‐polar solvents and in the solid state. Moreover, they exhibit excellent reversible oxidation and reduction waves. The higher energy level of the highest occupied molecular orbital (–5.3 eV) and the triphenylamine group are advantageous for hole‐injection/transport. In addition, the high electron affinities of 3.4 eV and the observed reversible reductive process suggest that these compounds enhance electron injection and have potential for use in electron transport. Three types of non‐doped red‐light‐emitting diodes have been studied using CAPP and CAPQ as the electron‐transporting and host‐light‐emitting layers, respectively. The devices exhibit red electroluminescence (EL), and constant Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage coordinates have been observed on increasing the current density. Pure red EL of CAPP, with a maximum brightness of 536 cd m–2 and an external quantum efficiency of 0.7 % in ambient air, was achieved.  相似文献

Light emission of 2‐(2,6‐bis((E)‐4‐(diphenylamino)styryl)‐4H‐pyran‐4‐ylidene)malononitrile (TPA‐DCM) is weakened by aggregate formation. Attaching tetraphenylethene (TPE) units as terminals to TPA‐DCM dramatically changes its emission behavior: the resulting fluorogen, 2‐(2,6‐bis((E)‐4‐(phenyl(4′‐(1,2,2‐triphenylvinyl)‐[1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4‐yl)amino)styryl)‐4H‐pyran‐4‐ylidene)malononitrile (TPE‐TPA‐DCM), is more emissive in the aggregate state, showing the novel phenomenon of aggregation‐induced emission (AIE). Formulation of TPE‐TPA‐DCM using bovine serum albumin (BSA) as the polymer matrix yields uniformly sized protein nanoparticles (NPs) with high brightness and low cytotoxicity. Applications of the fluorogen‐loaded BSA NPs for in vitro and in vivo far‐red/near‐infrared (FR/NIR) bioimaging are successfully demonstrated using MCF‐7 breast‐cancer cells and a murine hepatoma‐22 (H22)‐tumor‐bearing mouse model, respectively. The AIE‐active fluorogen‐loaded BSA NPs show an excellent cancer cell uptake and a prominent tumor‐targeting ability in vivo due to the enhanced permeability and retention effect.  相似文献

In an organic electroluminescent (EL) device, the recombination of injected holes and electrons produces what appears to be an ion‐pair or charge‐transfer (CT) exciton, and this CT exciton decays to produce one photon directly, or relaxes to a low‐lying local exciton (LE). Thus the full utilization of both the energy of the CT exciton and the LE should be a pathway for obtaining high‐efficiency EL. Here, a twisting donor‐acceptor (D‐A) triphenylamine‐imidazol molecule, TPA‐PPI, is reported: its synthesis, photophysics, and EL performance. Prepared by a manageable, one‐pot cyclizing reaction, TPA‐PPI exhibits deep‐blue emission with high quantum yields (90%) both in solution and in the solid state. Fluorescent solvatochromic experiments for TPA‐PPI solutions show a red‐shift of 57 nm (3032 cm?1) from low‐polarity hexane (406 nm) to high‐polarity acetonitrile (463 nm), accompanied by the gradual disappearance of the vibrational band in the spectra with increased solvent polarity. The photophysical investigation and DFT analysis suggest an intercrossed CT and LE excited state of the TPA‐PPI, originating from its twisting D‐A configuration. This is a rare instance that a CT‐state material shows highly efficient deep‐blue emission. EL characterization demonstrates that, as a deep‐blue emitter with CIE coordinates of (0.15, 0.11), the performance of a TPA‐PPI‐based device is rather excellent, displaying a maximum current efficiency of >5.0 cd A?1, and a maximum external quantum efficiency of >5.0%, corresponding to a maximum internal quantum efficiency of >25%. The effective utilization of the excitation energy arising from materials with intercrossed‐excited‐state (LE and CT) characters is thought to be beneficial for the improved efficiency of EL devices.  相似文献

Two blue‐emitting cationic iridium complexes with 2‐(1H‐pyrazol‐1‐yl)pyridine (pzpy) as the ancillary ligands, namely, [Ir(ppy)2(pzpy)]PF6 and [Ir(dfppy)2(pzpy)]PF6 (ppy is 2‐phenylpyridine, dfppy is 2‐(2,4‐difluorophenyl) pyridine, and PF6? is hexafluorophosphate), have been prepared, and their photophysical and electrochemical properties have been investigated. In CH3CN solutions, [Ir(ppy)2(pzpy)]PF6 emits blue‐green light (475 nm), which is blue‐shifted by more than 100 nm with respect to the typical cationic iridium complex [Ir(ppy)2(dtb‐bpy)]PF6 (dtb‐bpy is 4,4′‐di‐tert‐butyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine); [Ir(dfppy)2(pzpy)]PF6 with fluorine‐substituted cyclometalated ligands shows further blue‐shifted light emission (451 nm). Quantum chemical calculations reveal that the emissions are mainly from the ligand‐centered 3ππ* states of the cyclometalated ligands (ppy or dfppy). Light‐emitting electrochemical cells (LECs) based on [Ir(ppy)2(pzpy)]PF6 gave green‐blue electroluminescence (486 nm) and had a relatively high efficiency of 4.3 cd A?1 when an ionic liquid 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate was added into the light‐emitting layer. LECs based on [Ir(dfppy)2(pzpy)]PF6 gave blue electroluminescence (460 nm) with CIE (Commission Internationale de L'Eclairage) coordinates of (0.20, 0.28), which is the bluest light emission for iTMCs‐based LECs reported so far. Our work suggests that using diimine ancillary ligands involving electron‐donating nitrogen atoms (like pzpy) is an efficient strategy to turn the light emission of cationic iridium complexes to the blue region.  相似文献

A concept of interlayer‐sensitized photoluminescence (PL) of quasi‐2D hybrid perovskite (PVK) with a π‐conjugated optically interacting organic cation layer is introduced and demonstrated. A rod‐shaped aggregation‐induced enhanced emission (AIEE) organic cation (BPCSA+), well fitted into the lattice size of 2D PVK layers, is designed and synthesized to prolong the exciton lifetime in a condensed layer assembly in the PVK. The BPCSA+ promotes the PL of this hybrid PVK up to 10‐folds from that of a non‐π‐conjugated organic cation (OA) 2D PVK. Notably, different from PL of OA 2D PVK, the increased PL intensity of BPCSA 2D PVKs with an increase of the BPCSA ratio in the PVK indicates a critical photon‐harvesting contribution of BPCSA. The films of BPCSA 2D PVKs are incredibly stable in ambient environments for more than 4 months and even upon direct contact with water. Additionally, due to the strong two‐photon absorption property of BPCSA, the BPCSA 2D PVK displays superior emission properties upon two‐photon excitation with a short wavelength IR laser. Thus, the AIEE sensitization system for quasi‐2D PVK hybrid system can make a drastic improvement in performance as well as in the stability of the PVK emitter and PVK based nonlinear optical devices.  相似文献

A carbazole‐containing difluoroboron β‐diketonate complex ( BCZ ), which shows strong fluorescence in both the solid state and in organic solutions, is reported. The crystalline materials of BCZ obtained from different solvents display different emission colors. Single‐crystal analysis reveals that the enhanced overlap between adjacent molecules induces increased excited‐state delocalization and is responsible for the variation of the emission colors from yellow to red. The emission colors of the materials are effectively tuned by external stimuli such as grinding, heating, and solvent vapor. The powder X‐ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis, and 1H NMR studies on materials of BCZ reveal that the thermochromic properties of BCZ are closely related to the removal of solvent molecules from the crystalline powders upon heating. Moreover, uniform 1D microstructures of BCZ obtained by solvent exchange in solution exhibit optical waveguide property with low optical loss.  相似文献

A series of orange‐red to red phosphorescent heteroleptic CuI complexes (the first ligand: 2,2′‐biquinoline (bq), 4,4′‐diphenyl‐2,2′‐biquinoline (dpbq) or 3,3′‐methylen‐4,4′‐diphenyl‐2,2′‐biquinoline (mdpbq); the second ligand: triphenylphosphine or bis[2‐(diphenylphosphino)phenyl]ether (DPEphos)) have been synthesized and fully characterized. With highly rigid bulky biquinoline‐type ligands, complexes [Cu(mdpbq)(PPh3)2](BF4) and [Cu(mdpbq)(DPEphos)](BF4) emit efficiently in 20 wt % PMMA films with photoluminescence quantum yield of 0.56 and 0.43 and emission maximum of 606 nm and 617 nm, respectively. By doping these complexes in poly(vinyl carbazole) (PVK) or N‐(4‐(carbazol‐9‐yl)phenyl)‐3,6‐bis(carbazol‐9‐yl) carbazole (TCCz), phosphorescent organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) were fabricated with various device structures. The complex [Cu(mdpbq)(DPEphos)](BF4) exhibits the best device performance. With the device structure of ITO/PEDOT/TCCz:[Cu(mdpbq)(DPEphos)](BF4) (15 wt %)/TPBI/LiF/Al (III), a current efficiency up to 6.4 cd A–1 with the Commission Internationale de L'Eclairage (CIE) coordinates of (0.61, 0.39) has been realized. To our best knowledge, this is the first report of efficient mononuclear CuI complexes with red emission.  相似文献

2‐(2‐tert‐Butyl‐6‐((E)‐2‐(2,6,6‐trimethyl‐2,4,5,6‐tetrahydro‐1H‐pyrrolo[3,2,1‐ij]quinolin‐8‐yl)vinyl)‐4H‐pyran‐4‐ylidene)malononitrile (DCQTB) is designed and synthesized in high yield for application as the red‐light‐emitting dopant in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs). Compared with 4‐(dicyanomethylene)‐2‐tert‐butyl‐6‐(1,1,7,7,‐tetramethyljulolidyl‐9‐enyl)‐4H‐pyran (DCJTB), one of the most efficient red‐emitting dopants, DCQTB exhibits red‐shifted fluorescence but blue‐shifted absorption. The unique characteristics of DCQTB with respect to DCJTB are utilized to achieve a red OLED with improved color purity and luminous efficiency. As a result, the device that uses DCQTB as dopant, with the configuration: indium tin oxide (ITO)/N,N′‐bis(1‐naphthyl)‐N,N′‐diphenyl‐1,1′‐biphenyl‐4,4′‐diamine (NPB; 60 nm)/tris(8‐quinolinolato) aluminum (Alq3):dopant (2.3 wt %) (7 nm)/2,9‐dimethyl‐4,7‐diphenyl‐1,10‐phenanthroline (BCP; 12 nm)/Alq3(45 nm)/LiF(0.3 nm):Al (300 nm), shows a larger maximum luminance (Lmax = 6021 cd m–2 at 17 V), higher maximum efficiency (ηmax = 4.41 cd A–1 at 11.5 V (235.5 cd m–2)), and better chromaticity coordinates (Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage, CIE, (x,y) = (0.65,0.35)) than a DCJTB‐based device with the same structure (Lmax = 3453 cd m–2 at 15.5 V, ηmax = 3.01 cd A–1 at 10 V (17.69 cd m–2), and CIE (x,y) = (0.62,0.38)). The possible reasons for the red‐shifted emission but blue‐shifted absorption of DCQTB relative to DCJTB are also discussed.  相似文献

Considerable efforts have been devoted to the development of highly efficient blue light‐emitting materials. However, deep‐blue fluorescence materials that can satisfy the Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage (CIE) coordinates of (0.14, 0.08) of the National Television System Committee (NTSC) standard blue and, moreover, possess a high external quantum efficiency (EQE) over 5%, remain scarce. Here, the unusual luminescence properties of triphenylamine‐bearing 2‐(2′‐hydroxyphenyl)oxazoles ( 3a–3c ) and their applications in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) are reported as highly efficient deep‐blue emitters. The 3a ‐based device exhibits a high spectral stability and an excellent color purity with a narrow full‐width at half‐maximum of 53 nm and the CIE coordinates of (0.15, 0.08), which is very close to the NTSC standard blue. The exciton utilization of the device closes to 100%, exceeding the theoretical limit of 25% in conventional fluorescent OLEDs. Experimental data and theoretical calculations demonstrate that 3a possesses a highly hybridized local and charge‐transfer excited state character. In OLEDs, 3a exhibits a maximum luminance of 9054 cd m?2 and an EQE up to 7.1%, which is the first example of highly efficient blue OLEDs based on the sole enol‐form emission of 2‐(2′‐hydroxyphenyl)azoles.  相似文献

A series of neutral, dinuclear, luminescent rhenium(I) complexes suitable for phosphorescent organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) is reported. These compounds, of general formula [Re2(µ‐Cl)2(CO)6(µ‐1,2‐diazine)], contain diazines bearing alkyl groups in one or in both the β positions. Their electrochemical and photophysical properties are presented, as well as a combined density functional and time‐dependent density functional study of their geometry, relative stability and electronic structure. The complexes show intense green/yellow emissions in toluene solution and in the solid state and some of the complexes possess high emission quantum yields (? = 0.18–0.22 for the derivatives with disubstituted diazines). In butyronitrile glass, at 77 K, due to the charge transfer character of the lowest (emitting) excited state, strong blue shift of the emission is observed, accompanied by a strong increase in the lifetime values. The highest‐performing emitting complex, containing cyclopentapyridazine as ligand, is tested in a polymer‐based light‐emitting device, with poly(9‐vinylcarbazole) as matrix, as well as in a device obtained by vacuum sublimation of the complex in the 2,7‐bis(diphenylphosphine oxide)‐9‐(9‐phenylcarbazol‐3‐yl)‐9‐phenylfluorene (PCF) matrix. This represents the first example of devices obtained with a rhenium complex which can be sublimed and is solution processable. Furthermore, the emission is the bluest ever reported for electrogenerated luminescence for rhenium complexes.  相似文献

The development of red thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitters having excellent optoelectronic properties and satisfactory electroluminescence efficiency is full of challenges due to strict molecular design principles. Two red TADF molecules, 3‐(9,9‐dimethylacridin‐10(9H)‐yl)acenaphtho[1,2‐b]quinoxaline‐9,10‐dicarbonitrile and 3‐(2,7‐dimethyl‐10H‐spiro[acridine‐9,9′‐fluoren]‐10‐yl)acenaphtho[1,2‐b]quinoxaline‐9,10‐dicarbonitrile, are developed by adopting a donor–acceptor molecular architecture bearing an electron‐accepting acenaphtho[1,2‐b]quinoxaline‐9,10‐dicarbonitrile (ANQDC) moiety and a 9,9‐dimethyl‐9,10‐dihydroacridine or 2,7‐dimethyl‐10H‐spiro[acridine‐9,9′‐fluorene] electron donor. The combined effects of rigid and planar D/A moieties and highly steric hindrance between D and A groups endow both molecules with high rigidity to suppress nonradiative decay processes, resulting in high photoluminescence quantum efficiencies (ΦPLs) of up to 95%. Attributed to the linear and planar acceptor motif and rod‐like molecular configuration, both emitters achieve high horizontal ratios of emitting dipole orientation of ≈80%. The organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) based on both emitters exhibit red emissions peaking at ≈615 nm and successfully afford ultrahigh electroluminescence performance with an external quantum efficiency of nearly 28% and a power efficiency of above 50 lm W?1, on par with the state‐of‐the‐art device efficiency for red TADF OLEDs. This presents a feasible design strategy for excellent TADF emitters simultaneously possessing high ΦPLs and horizontally aligned emitting dipoles.  相似文献

The temperature dependence of luminescence from [Cu(dnbp)(DPEPhos)]BF4 (dnbp = 2,9‐di‐n‐butylphenanthroline, DPEPhos = bis[2‐(diphenylphosphino)phenyl]ether) in a poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) film indicates the presence of long‐life green emission arising from two thermally equilibrated charge transfer (CT) excited states and one non‐equilibrated triplet ligand center (3LC) excited state. At room temperature, the lower triplet CT state is found to be the predominantly populated excited state, and the zero‐zero energy of this state is found to be 2.72 eV from the onset of its emission at 80 K. The tunable emission maximum of [Cu(dnbp)(DPEPhos)]BF4 in various hosts with different triplet energies is explained in terms of the multiple triplet energy levels of this complex in amorphous films. Using the high triplet energy charge transport material as a host and an exciton‐blocking layer (EBL), a [Cu(dnbp)(DPEPhos)]BF4 based organic light‐emitting diode (OLED) achieves a high external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 15.0%, which is comparable to values for similar devices based on Ir(ppy)3 and FIrpic. The photoluminescence (PL) and electroluminescence (EL) performance of green emissive [Cu(μI)dppb]2 (dppb = 1,2‐bis[diphenylphosphino]benzene) in organic semiconductor films confirmed its 3CT state with a zero‐zero energy of 2.76 eV as the predominant population excited state.  相似文献
