Realistic finite element models of 3D woven composites are constructed utilizing micro-scale numerical modeling to accurately represent the geometry of as-woven textile fabrics. The models are used to predict microcracking of carbon fiber / epoxy composites during resin curing. Numerical predictions of the stress concentration areas correlate well with the observations of microcracking obtained by micro-computed tomography.  相似文献

目的 针对“难成形零件”提出的电液颤振挤压成形技术,理论研究颤振对冷挤压成形的影响规律。方法 通过离散化处理颤振速度,对挤压筒和顶杆分别施加颤振激励,利用DEFORM-3D软件有限元模拟,分析比较不同颤振激励下的行程载荷、摩擦力、速度场和应力应变场。结果 在挤压成形过程中,材料流动规律会由于颤振激励的存在而发生改变,在局部区域,材料流动速度较传统挤压时有较大提高;当颤振最大速度小于挤压速度时,颤振对挤压力、摩擦力、等效应力和等效应变的影响并不显著,当颤振最大速度大于挤压速度时,颤振可降低挤压力与摩擦力,改变等效应力和应变分布,但并不影响最大等效应力值。结论 颤振激励影响材料流动规律,对挤压力、摩擦力和应力应变场的影响存在一个拐点,为电液颤振冷挤压成形技术的推广应用提供了一定理论依据。  相似文献

Finite element simulations are performed to investigate the plastic deformation behavior of Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy during its indirect extrusion through a four-hole die. The simulations assume the die, mandrel and container to be rigid bodies and ignore the temperature change induced during the extrusion process. Under various extrusion conditions, the present numerical analysis investigates the effective stress and profile of product at the exit. The relative influences of the friction factors, the temperature of billet and the eccentricity of four-hole displacement are systematically examined. The simulations focus specifically on the effects of the friction factor, billet temperature and eccentricity ratio of the four-hole die on the maximum load and effective stress induced within the billet and the taper angle of the extruded tubes. The simulation results provide a useful insight into the optimal processing conditions for the four-hole indirect extrusion of seamless titanium alloy tubes.  相似文献

设计了厚度为0.12mm的聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)薄膜衣架式挤出流道,使用有限元软件模拟了聚合物熔体的流动规律,获得了流道内部的压力场、速度场和温度场的分布,分析了阻流设计对流场的影响。研究表明,流道结构对压力分布影响显著,对速度、温度分布影响不明显;流道阻流部分尺寸较小的改变,会引起流道内部熔体压力较大的变化,易导致挤出成型过程的不稳定,从而显著影响产品质量。此外,挤出流量对流场压力分布影响很小。  相似文献

Dynamic hip screw and gamma nail have been widely used to treat the patients with proximal femoral fractures, but clinical failures of those implants are still to be found. This study developed three-dimensional finite element models to investigate the biomechanical performances of the implants. Two kinds of commercially available implants (dynamic hip screw and gamma nail) and one newly designed implant (double screw nail) under three kinds of the proximal femoral fractures (neck fracture, subtrochanteric fracture, and subtrochanteric fracture with gap) were evaluated. Double screw nail showed better biomechanical performances than dynamic hip screw and gamma nail. Two commercially available implants might provide good biomechanical performances if their designs were modified by using the suggestions of the reports. The finite element models developed in this study could provide the selection information of those implants to surgeons and offer the improved implant designs to engineers.  相似文献

本文采用聚合物加工理论和有限元方法,建立了聚合物异型材挤出模拟的有限元模型,模拟了聚合物T型材挤出成型过程,获得了聚合物熔体在模具内的速度场、温度场、压力场和应力场分布,分析了模拟结果对成型过程的影响,预测了成型过程中可能出现的缺陷,给出了模具和工艺设计的合理化建议。模拟结果揭示了聚合物T型材挤出成型过程的一般规律,对于模具和工艺设计具有直接的指导作用;所建立的数学方法和获得的模拟结果对于聚合物异型材挤出具有通用的指导意义。  相似文献
