A tracer experiment using a radioisotope was carried out to investigate the characteristics of pollutant transport and to estimate the dispersion coefficients in a river system. A well-known radioisotope tracer technique was applied to measure the dispersion coefficients in Daejong river which is located in the southeast area in Korea. The dispersion coefficients were determined by moment, routing and analytical methods based on the measured radioisotope data. Two-dimensional numerical models were used to simulate the flow fields and the concentration distributions of the radioisotope injected into the river. The calculated results were compared with the measurements. As a comparative study, the computed concentration distributions agreed well in the case of the usage of the dispersion coefficients determined by the moment method. 相似文献

本文对研究试验堆开展同位素生产进行了物理分析。分析了控制棒提棒顺序对同位素产量的影响,提出了提棒因子的概念。依据点堆模型和反应性-燃耗线性公式,得到了同位素的转换比和产量公式。最后根据这些公式,分析了高通量工程试验堆(HFETR)在高浓铀和低浓铀堆芯装载下,堆芯炉的运行寿期、燃料元件装载数量、燃料元件初始平均燃耗和堆芯功率对同位素转换比和产量的影响。结果显示,从小到大提棒、增加堆芯燃料组件盒数和功率水平均会增加堆芯同位素产量,而全年运行段数(运行段间检修时间不变)和堆芯平均初始燃耗增加则起到相反的作用。这些结果已经用于指导反应堆的堆芯装载设计。 相似文献

Radioisotope thermoelectric generator which uses Seebeck effect converting heat energy generated by the decay of radioisotopes into electrical energy is widely used in the space. The most widely used radioisotope thermoelectric generator is the238PuO2 radioisotope thermoelectric generator. It has many advantages such as long life, high reliability, etc. But the manufacturing technique of238PuO2 is very complex and the product is rare. There is not enough238PuO2 for the radioisotope thermoelectric generator. It is necessary to seek for the substitution for the 238PuO2. The radioisotope 241Am has many advantages to use for the radioisotope thermoelectric generator. The feasibility of241AmO2 used in the radioisotope thermoelectric generator is analyzed. An241AmO2-radioisotope thermoelectric generator based on the GPHS is designed. The finite elements software ANSYS is used to calculate the electrical output and the temperature distribution of the RTG in the temperature of the day and night of the moon surface. The electrical output of the two working states is nearly 2 watt, and the converting efficiency is about 3.5%. The calculation result shows that the241AmO2 radioisotope thermoelectric generator is well adapted to the moon surface environment. The converting efficiency is slightly small than that of the European Space Agency, but is equal to that of the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute. The analysis result shows that241AmO2 can be used in the radioisotope thermoelectric generator. 相似文献

An anti-Compton spectrometer with semi-2π Compton suppression is designed to identify the photons emitted from low-level radioactive wastes from radioisotope usage and nuclear research laboratory. Since the objective sample is massive and large, the system has a full opening toward the sample position. The characteristics and features of the system concerning Compton suppression and reduction of the background component due to natural radioactive source are estimated by the Monte Carlo simulations. The anti-Compton technique is shown to be quite advantageous for the reduction of the surrounding natural background radiation, as well as the suppression of the background for the higher energy photons. 相似文献
