Organic–inorganic halide perovskites are promising photodetector materials due to their strong absorption, large carrier mobility, and easily tunable bandgap. Up to now, perovskite photodetectors are mainly based on polycrystalline thin films, which have some undesired properties such as large defective grain boundaries hindering the further improvement of the detector performance. Here, perovskite thin‐single‐crystal (TSC) photodetectors are fabricated with a vertical p–i–n structure. Due to the absence of grain‐boundaries, the trap densities of TSCs are 10–100 folds lower than that of polycrystalline thin films. The photodetectors based on CH3NH3PbBr3 and CH3NH3PbI3 TSCs show low noise of 1–2 fA Hz?1/2, yielding a high specific detectivity of 1.5 × 1013 cm Hz1/2 W?1. The absence of grain boundaries reduces charge recombination and enables a linear response under strong light, superior to polycrystalline photodetectors. The CH3NH3PbBr3 photodetectors show a linear response to green light from 0.35 pW cm?2 to 2.1 W cm?2, corresponding to a linear dynamic range of 256 dB.  相似文献

Metal halide perovskite materials have attracted great attention owing to their fascinating optoelectronic characteristics and low cost fabrication via facile solution processing. One of the potential applications of these materials is to employ them as color‐conversion layers (CCLs) for visible blue light to achieve full‐color displays. However, obtaining thick perovskite films to realize complete color conversion is a key challenge. Here, the fabrication of micrometer‐level thick CsPbBr3 perovskite films is presented through a facile vacuum drying approach. An efficient green photoconversion is realized in a 3.8 µm thick film from blue light @ 463 nm. For a back luminance of 1000 cd m?2, the brightness of the resulting green emission can reach as high as 200 cd m?2. Furthermore, only ≈2% of decay in brightness is observed when the films are tested after 18 days of exposure to ambient environment. In addition, a potential design is also proposed for full‐color displays with perovskite materials incorporated as CCLs.  相似文献

Intrinsically stretchable light‐emitting diodes (LEDs) are demonstrated using organometal‐halide‐perovskite/polymer composite emitters. The polymer matrix serves as a microscale elastic connector for the rigid and brittle perovskite and induces stretchability to the composite emissive layers. The stretchable LEDs consist of poly(ethylene oxide)‐modified poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate as a transparent and stretchable anode, a perovskite/polymer composite emissive layer, and eutectic indium–gallium as the cathode. The devices exhibit a turn‐on voltage of 2.4 V, and a maximum luminance intensity of 15 960 cd m?2 at 8.5 V. Such performance far exceeds all reported intrinsically stretchable LEDs based on electroluminescent polymers. The stretchable perovskite LEDs are mechanically robust and can be reversibly stretched up to 40% strain for 100 cycles without failure.  相似文献

Lead‐(Pb‐) halide perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) are interesting nanomaterials due to their excellent optical properties, such as narrow‐band emission, high photoluminescence (PL) efficiency, and wide color gamut. However, these NCs have several critical problems, such as the high toxicity of Pb, its tendency to accumulate in the human body, and phase instability. Although Pb‐free metal (Bi, Sn, etc.) halide perovskite NCs have recently been reported as possible alternatives, they exhibit poor optical and electrical properties as well as abundant intrinsic defect sites. For the first time, the synthesis and optical characterization of cesium ytterbium triiodide (CsYbI3) cubic perovskite NCs with highly uniform size distribution and high crystallinity using a simple hot‐injection method are reported. Strong excitation‐independent emission and high quantum yields for the prepared NCs are verified using photoluminescence measurements. Furthermore, these CsYbI3 NCs exhibit potential for use in organic–inorganic hybrid photodetectors as a photoactive layer. The as‐prepared samples exhibit clear on–off switching behavior as well as high photoresponsivity (2.4 × 103 A W?1) and external quantum efficiency (EQE, 5.8 × 105%) due to effective exciton dissociation and charge transport. These results suggest that CsYbI3 NCs offer tremendous opportunities in electronic and optoelectronic applications, such as chemical sensors, light emitting diodes (LEDs), and energy conversion and storage devices.  相似文献

Stretchable light‐emitting diodes (LEDs) and electroluminescent capacitors have been reported to potentially bring new opportunities to wearable electronics; however, these devices lack in efficiency and/or stretchability. Here, a stretchable organometal‐halide‐perovskite quantum‐dot LED with both high efficiency and mechanical compliancy is demonstrated. The hybrid device employs an ultrathin (<3 µm) LED structure conformed on a surface‐wrinkled elastomer substrate. Its luminescent efficiency is up to 9.2 cd A?1, which is 70% higher than a control diode fabricated on the rigid indium tin oxide/glass substrate. Mechanical deformations up to 50% tensile strain do not induce significant loss of the electroluminescent property. The device can survive 1000 stretch–release cycles of 20% tensile strain with small fluctuations in electroluminescent performance.  相似文献

All‐inorganic photodetectors based on scattered CsPbBr3 nanoplatelets with lateral dimension as large as 10 µm are fabricated, and the CsPbBr3 nanoplatelets are solution processed governed by a newly developed ion‐exchange soldering mechanism. Under illumination of a 442 nm laser, the photoresponsivity of photodetectors based on these scattered CsPbBr3 nanoplatelets is as high as 34 A W?1, which is the largest value reported from all‐inorganic perovskite photodetectors with an external driven voltage as small as 1.5 V. Moreover, the rise and fall times are 0.6 and 0.9 ms, respectively, which are comparable to most of the state‐of‐the‐art all‐inorganic perovskite‐based photodetectors. All the material synthesis and device characterization are conducted at room temperature in ambient air. This work demonstrates that the solution‐processed large CsPbBr3 nanoplatelets are attractive candidates to be applied in low‐voltage, low‐cost, ultra highly integrated optoelectronic devices.  相似文献

The morphology of hybrid organic–inorganic perovskite films is known to strongly affect the performance of perovskite‐based solar cells. CH3NH3PbI3‐xClx (MAPbI3‐xClx) films have been previously fabricated with 100% surface coverage in glove boxes. In ambient air, fabrication generally relies on solvent engineering to obtain compact films. In contrast, this work explores the potential of altering the perovskites microstructure for solar cell engineering. This work starts with CH3NH3PbI3‐xClx, films with grain morphology carefully controlled by varying the deposition speed during the spin‐coating process to fabricate efficient and partially transparent solar cells. Devices produced with a CH3NH3PbI3‐xClx film and a compact thick top gold electrode reach a maximum efficiency of 10.2% but display a large photocurrent hysteresis. As it is demonstrated, the introduction of different concentrations of bromide in the precursor solution addresses the hysteresis issues and turns the film morphology into a partially transparent interconnected network of 1D microstructures. This approach leads to semitransparent solar cells with negligible hysteresis and efficiencies up to 7.2%, while allowing average transmission of 17% across the visible spectrum. This work demonstrates that the optimization of the perovskites composition can mitigate the hysteresis effects commonly attributed to the charge trapping within the perovskite film.  相似文献

A fullerene derivative (α‐bis‐PCBM) is purified from an as‐produced bis‐phenyl‐C61‐butyric acid methyl ester (bis‐[60]PCBM) isomer mixture by preparative peak‐recycling, high‐performance liquid chromatography, and is employed as a templating agent for solution processing of metal halide perovskite films via an antisolvent method. The resulting α‐bis‐PCBM‐containing perovskite solar cells achieve better stability, efficiency, and reproducibility when compared with analogous cells containing PCBM. α‐bis‐PCBM fills the vacancies and grain boundaries of the perovskite film, enhancing the crystallization of perovskites and addressing the issue of slow electron extraction. In addition, α‐bis‐PCBM resists the ingression of moisture and passivates voids or pinholes generated in the hole‐transporting layer. As a result, a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 20.8% is obtained, compared with 19.9% by PCBM, and is accompanied by excellent stability under heat and simulated sunlight. The PCE of unsealed devices dropped by less than 10% in ambient air (40% RH) after 44 d at 65 °C, and by 4% after 600 h under continuous full‐sun illumination and maximum power point tracking, respectively.  相似文献

Lead halide perovskites have emerged as promising semiconducting materials for different applications owing to their superior optoelectronic properties. Although the community holds different views toward the toxic lead in these high‐performance perovskites, it is certainly preferred to replace lead with nontoxic, or at least less‐toxic, elements while maintaining the superior properties. Here, the design rules for lead‐free perovskite materials with structural dimensions from 3D to 0D are presented. Recent progress in lead‐free halide perovskites is reviewed, and the relationships between the structures and fundamental properties are summarized, including optical, electric, and magnetic‐related properties. 3D perovskites, especially A2B+B3+X6‐type double perovskites, demonstrate very promising optoelectronic prospects, while low‐dimensional perovskites show rich structural diversity, resulting in abundant properties for optical, electric, magnetic, and multifunctional applications. Furthermore, based on these structure–property relationships, strategies for multifunctional perovskite design are proposed. The challenges and future directions of lead‐free perovskite applications are also highlighted, with emphasis on materials development and device fabrication. The research on lead‐free halide perovskites at Linköping University has benefited from inspirational discussions with Prof. Olle Inganäs.  相似文献

Wide‐bandgap (WBG) formamidinium–cesium (FA‐Cs) lead iodide–bromide mixed perovskites are promising materials for front cells well‐matched with crystalline silicon to form tandem solar cells. They offer avenues to augment the performance of widely deployed commercial solar cells. However, phase instability, high open‐circuit voltage (Voc) deficit, and large hysteresis limit this otherwise promising technology. Here, by controlling the crystallization of FA‐Cs WBG perovskite with the aid of a formamide cosolvent, light‐induced phase segregation and hysteresis in perovskite solar cells are suppressed. The highly polar solvent additive formamide induces direct formation of the black perovskite phase, bypassing the yellow phases, thereby reducing the density of defects in films. As a result, the optimized WBG perovskite solar cells (PSCs) (Eg ≈ 1.75 eV) exhibit a high Voc of 1.23 V, reduced hysteresis, and a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 17.8%. A PCE of 15.2% on 1.1 cm2 solar cells, the highest among the reported efficiencies for large‐area PSCs having this bandgap is also demonstrated. These perovskites show excellent phase stability and thermal stability, as well as long‐term air stability. They maintain ≈95% of their initial PCE after 1300 h of storage in dry air without encapsulation.  相似文献

Mixed‐halide wide‐bandgap perovskites are key components for the development of high‐efficiency tandem structured devices. However, mixed‐halide perovskites usually suffer from phase‐impurity and high defect density issues, where the causes are still unclear. By using in situ photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy, it is found that in methylammonium (MA+)‐based mixed‐halide perovskites, MAPb(I0.6Br0.4)3, the halide composition of the spin‐coated perovskite films is preferentially dominated by the bromide ions (Br?). Additional thermal energy is required to initiate the insertion of iodide ions (I?) to achieve the stoichiometric balance. Notably, by incorporating a small amount of formamidinium ions (FA+) in the precursor solution, it can effectively facilitate the I? coordination in the perovskite framework during the spin‐coating and improve the composition homogeneity of the initial small particles. The aggregation of these homogenous small particles is found to be essential to achieve uniform and high‐crystallinity perovskite film with high Br? content. As a result, high‐quality MA0.9FA0.1Pb(I0.6Br0.4)3 perovskite film with a bandgap (Eg) of 1.81 eV is achieved, along with an encouraging power‐conversion‐efficiency of 17.1% and open‐circuit voltage (Voc) of 1.21 V. This work also demonstrates the in situ PL can provide a direct observation of the dynamic of ion coordination during the perovskite crystallization.  相似文献

Spinel and perovskite with distinctive crystal structures are two of the most popular material families in electrocatalysis, which, however, usually show poor conductivity, causing a negative effect on the charge transfer process during electrochemical reactions. Herein, a highly conductive inverse spinel (Fe3O4) and anti‐perovskite (Ni3FeN) hetero‐structured nanocomposite is reported as a superior oxygen evolution electrocatalyst, which can be facilely prepared based on a one‐pot synthesis strategy. Thanks to the strong hybridization between Ni/Fe 3d and N 2p orbitals, the Ni3FeN is easily transformed into NiFe (oxy)hydroxide as the real active species during the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) process, while the Fe3O4 component with low O‐p band center relative to Fermi level is structurally stable. As a result, both high surface reactivity and bulk electronic transport ability are reached. By directly growing Fe3O4/Ni3FeN heterostructure on freestanding carbon fiber paper and testing based on the three‐electrode configuration, it requires only 160 mV overpotential to deliver a current density of 30 mA cm?2 for OER. Also, negligible performance decay is observed within a prolonged test period of 100 h. This work sheds light on the rational design of novel heterostructure materials for electrocatalysis.  相似文献
