本文提出了全响应数字光纤通信接收机最佳传递函数的逼近和实现方法;给出了在小色散和大色散光纤通信系统中近似实现光接收机最佳传递函数的电路型式;构造了一种能使光接收机对不同带宽的光纤线路近似实现最佳传递函数的可变均衡电路。文中给出了用本方法设计的1.3μm、34Mb/s光接收机的设计实例和实测结果。该接收机已在中继间隔为24.6km的实验性光纤通信系统和为武汉市电信部门建设的13.6km实用化34Mb/s光缆通信试验段上投入使用,效果良好。 相似文献

本文运用随机信号的分析方法推导了存在ASE噪声情况下,光纤通信系统误码率的计算公式。利用该式可以根据信号光功率和噪声功率谱密度估算系统的误码率,与实验结果基本符合,从而可以为加光纤放大器的光纤通信系统提供评价信道优劣的依据。本文还论述了ASE噪声对PIN接收机灵敏度的影响,对于实际系统中接收机的选择具有重要意义 相似文献

对高精度光纤陀螺(零漂>0.01(°)/h)中的核心光学器件——铌酸锂集成光学调制器在光纤陀螺中的调制特性及系统测试方法进行了探讨,对其应用及与光路其他各部分配合的技术进行了理论分析和实验研究。与此同时,对该器件在光纤陀螺系统中的特性研究建立了通用的测试系统。文中提出了集成光学调制器与系统匹配的问题。研究结果表明:铌酸锂集成光学调制器的光、电特性以及其电特性与系统的匹配对陀螺的性能发挥着至关重要的作用。 相似文献

在不考虑放大自发辐射(ASE)对掺饵光纤放大器(EDFA)饱和特性影响的条件下,推出了掺饵光纤放大器(EDFA)三能级系统功率传输的解析表达式,简化了理论分析,所得结果也适用于二能级系统。根据该简化分析方法具有计算了前向泵浦时光纤CATV用掺饵光纤放大器(EDFA)的信号增益曲线。计算表明,当信号增益约在25dB以下,即在光纤CATV用掺饵光纤放大器(EDFA)的工作范围内,简化分析所得的计算结果与较精确的数值计算结果一致。 相似文献

Fiber optic sensor technology has experienced tremendous growth since its early beginnings in the 1970's with early laboratory demonstrations of fiber optic gyros and acoustic sensors and the introduction of the first commercial intensity and spectrally based sensors. These early efforts were followed by a tremendous growth of interest in the 1980's when the number of workers in the field increased from perhaps a few hundred to thousands. The result was the introduction in the 1990's of the first mass produced fiber optic sensors that are being used to support navigation and medical applications. The number of fiber optic sensor products can be expected to grow tremendously in the years to come as rapid progress continues to be made in the related optoelectronic and communication fields. Fiber optic sensors can be embedded into composite material used for a wide variety of lightweight structures supporting aircraft, spacecraft, automobiles and boats. Their environmental ruggedness has also allowed them to be embedded in concrete structures including buildings, dams, and bridges. Most recently it has been proposed that the very long gauge lengths associated with fiber sensors could be used to monitor widely dispersed natural structures such as earthquake fault lines and volcanic motion.
