基于对“行走”议题的关注和思考,首先通过20世纪中上叶与“行走”和“行走的人”关系密切的3次文化思潮,阐释行走与批判性认知之间的关系;然后将通过行走这个活动形成批判性认知的过程解析为“经验-思考-重构”;其后,从必要性和可行性2个方面阐述行走之于风景园林领域的意义;再从“把行走作为景观认知方法”和“把行走作为景观设计方法”2个层面出发,综合描述和分析过去六七十年间风景园林领域关于“行走”的各种学术讨论、社会行动和设计实践,辨析“行走”如何帮助形成对周遭环境的批判性认识并启发设计思想,进而被转译到为人们所使用的具体的景观之中。 相似文献

本文从建筑设计的现实困境出发,通过对芒福德地域主义思想的批判性研究以及地域主义批判性建筑实践的考察,试图为我们今天的建筑设计寻求一个“转换的结构”。芒福德的地域主义的批判性在于,他不仅对大同化的现代主义建筑持批判态度,而且对地方那种矫情的、虚假形式的地域主义持批判态度。这是一种具有生命力的、不断地进行双向反思和批判的建筑思想,它在“地方”与“全球”之间保持了一种平衡和对话。本文从5个方面对此进行了全面地阐述。 相似文献

作为批判性话题中的经典之作,海斯在文章中系统地回顾了长期以来在建筑学中存在的两种基本态度:其一是将建筑看作是主导文化的一个部门和意识形态的再现,也就是“建筑作为文化手段”;其二是“建筑作为自治形式”.将建筑看作无关任何外部文本和前在状况的先验形式逻辑之再现。通过对密斯的若干经典建筑的再解读,海斯描述了在文化和形式之间存在的批判性领域。他进而提出了批判性建筑的观念,将建筑放置到它自身的世间性状况中去,以开放的批判的态度来面对不确定的经验状况。通过对如上两种对立态度及其二分法的抵抗和对抗.海斯认为,可以依靠建筑师的著述过程建立起批判的建筑知识体系和实践策略。 相似文献

This essay looks at gender issues in the teaching of architectural history. It argues that when perspectives and materials from scholarship on women are brought into the traditional curriculum, our knowledge of both history and the process of architectural production are enlarged. Using Peggy McIntosh's successful model for curriculum revision in the liberal arts, the architectural history syllabus is evaluated and ideas are proposed that would lead to a more integrative curriculum. Bias and exclusion in some of the more popular recent texts in architectural history are examined and alternative readings are suggested. The issues raised are applicable, too, for rethinking teaching approaches and attitudes in the design studio. 相似文献

Abstract Architectural history books play a significant role in conveying the culture, norms, and values of the architectural discipline to newcomers. In recent years, numerous publications have spotlighted the importance of women and African Americans as critics, creators, and consumers of the built environment. Yet, to what extent is this recent discourse on gender and racial issues included in architectural history texts? And how gender or racially inclusive are they? Are twenty-first-century architectural educators presenting newly uncovered architectural histories from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries? Building upon prior research, this article seeks to address these issues by examining history texts currently assigned at fourteen leading architectural schools accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board. In textbooks with multiple editions, we compared relevant information in both earlier and later versions. Our analysis of these history texts revealed that contributions of women remain only marginally represented in the grand narrative of architecture. And for the most part, African Americans are omitted altogether. We challenge authors to reassess the next generation of architectural history texts and suggest ways to do so. 相似文献

We believe that architecture has lost its role as conciliator between humanity and the universe, it has lost much of its meaning. We use an example of a studio problem and process to explore issues in architecture, science, and meaning as they relate to architectural education. The confrontation of this problem in architectural education should involve the infusion of scientific thought and theoretical issues into the design studio, as well as other courses, to aid students in formulating their own world view in order to create an architecture of meaning. A seven-week design studio offered to second-year students included reading Stephen W. Hawking's A Brief History of Time and analyzing the spatial theories outlined in the book.
