Contractor selection is one of the main activities of clients. Without a proper and accurate method for selecting the most appropriate contractor, the performance of the project will be affected. The multi‐criteria decision‐making (MCDM) is suggested to be a viable method for contractor selection. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) has been used as a tool for MCDM. However, AHP can only be employed in hierarchical decision models. For complicated decision problems, the analytic network process (ANP) is highly recommended since ANP allows interdependent influences specified in the model. An example is demonstrated to illustrate how this method is conducted, including the formation of supermatrix and the limit matrix.  相似文献

A methodology for prioritising between different maintenance actions in the railway infrastructure is presented. The consistency of the prioritisation and the feasibility of the applied methodology are investigated. Criteria describing the diverse effects of maintenance are developed and presented to track managers, together with a set of maintenance actions that are specific for each track manager. Then, the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) is used to obtain preferences for the criteria and for the different actions. The track managers roughly agree on the prioritisation of criteria. However, the discrepancies between the results of the two ways employed to elicit the preferences for the actions are rather large. The track managers consider it easy to understand the rationale of the AHP and to enter their preferences. It is proposed that preferences are recorded as they are in this paper, in order to document the rationale of the decisions and to facilitate mutual learning among decision-makers and over time.  相似文献

Even though they are safe and economical transportation means of gas and oil products around the world, pipelines can be subject to failure and degradation generating hazardous consequences and irreparable environmental damages. Therefore, gas and oil pipelines need to be effectively monitored and assessed for optimal and safe operation. Many models have been developed in the last decade to predict pipeline failures and conditions. However, most of these models used corrosion features as the sole factor to assess the condition of pipelines. Therefore, the objective of this paper was to develop a condition assessment model of oil and gas pipelines that considers several factors besides corrosion. The proposed model, which uses both analytic network process and Monte Carlo simulation, considers the uncertainty of the factors affecting pipeline condition and the interdependency relationships between them. The performance of the model was tested on an existing offshore gas pipeline in Qatar and was found to be satisfactory. The model will help pipeline operators to assess the condition of oil and gas pipelines and hence prioritise their inspections and rehabilitation requirements.  相似文献

This paper presents a computational framework for risk-based planning of inspections and repairs for deteriorating components. Two distinct types of decision rules are used to model decisions: simple decision rules that depend on constants or observed variables (e.g. inspection outcome), and advanced decision rules that depend on variables found using Bayesian updating (e.g. probability of failure). Two decision models are developed, both relying on dynamic Bayesian networks (dBNs) for deterioration modelling. For simple decision rules, dBNs are used directly for exact assessment of total expected life-cycle costs. For advanced decision rules, simulations are performed to estimate the expected costs, and dBNs are used within the simulations for decision-making. Information from inspections and condition monitoring are included if available. An example in the paper demonstrates the framework and the implemented strategies and decision rules, including various types of condition-based maintenance. The strategies using advanced decision rules lead to reduced costs compared to the simple decision rules when condition monitoring is applied, and the value of condition monitoring is estimated by comparing the lowest costs obtained with and without condition monitoring.  相似文献

A new Bayesian Network (BN) learning approach is developed in this work to analyze the effect of different factors on the Perceived Transfer Time (PTT) of the Urban Rail Transit (URT) passengers. It is shown that the newly developed approach is able to build a BN with a satisfactory ability to assess effective strategies on reducing the PTT for the URT service improvement. Moreover, it is found that mainly determined by the weather, the relative environment inside an URT station plays the key role in deciding the impacts of varied factors on the PTT in different seasons. Fully illuminating the transfer passageway and preparing adequate and clear transfer guidance in an URT station are the most important in spring for the reduction of the PTT. Effectively decreasing the passenger flow conflicts in an URT station is the only way to evidently reduce the PTT in summer. Not only fully illuminated and well decorated transfer passageway but also increased train service frequency is indispensable to the decrease of the PTT in autumn. Besides minimizing the passenger flow conflicts, improving both frequency and time coordination of train services is essential for reducing the PTT in winter as well.  相似文献

通过对寒区隧道工程中常见的保温材料主要技术指标的对比分析,以高海拔寒区白茫雪山1#公路隧道为依托,提出运用改进的层次分析法和灰色关联分析相结合的综合评判方法来构建评价指标模型。运用改进的层次分析法来确定保温材料评价指标的权值,进而以灰色关联度作为判定评价对象优劣的准则,建立了一种综合评价模型。最后对隧道保温层不同铺设方式下保温材料的选择做出总体的评价,研究分析结果表明:当保温材料表面铺设时,应优先采用福利凯保温板;当保温材料夹层铺设时,应优先采用硬质聚氨酯泡沫塑料;这为寒区隧道保温材料的选择提供了参考。  相似文献
