AIM: The study of physical performance of ischemic heart disease (IHD) patients in comfortable and uncomfortable (summer) weather conditions. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Systemic reserves were assessed by physical performance tests in comfortable weather (equivalent-effective temperature--EET 18-24 degrees C) and in heat discomfort (EET 25-30 degrees C), i.e. in summer when atmospheric oxygen is low (hyperthermic hypoxia). RESULTS: In uncomfortable weather, compared to comfortable one, general performance was significantly reduced evidencing uneffective function of the cardiovascular system. Comparison of the main ergometric parameters under the same load provides more accurate definition of the same trends in dynamics. CONCLUSION: General reserve in IHD patients is reduced under conditions of heart discomfort. 相似文献

The heat exchange between a metallic melt and a slag with a charge is simulated with allowance for possible formation of a skull on the charge surface. It is shown that the charge melting rate in the melt is determined by the coefficient of heat transfer between the metal and the charge and the ratio of the mass of a charge fragment to its surface area interacting with the melt. A skull is found to form on the charge surface at a low coefficient of heat transfer between the metal and the charge. The main heat parameters, the control of which by an automatic control system ensures an increase in the charge melting rate in the melt and a decrease in the metal loss, are formulated. 相似文献

Endothelial damage is thought to be a contributing factor in the pathogenesis of Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura/Hemolytic Uremic Syndromes (TTP/HUS). The present studies measured two markers of endothelial cell stimulation and/or activation [von Willebrand Factor (vWF:Ag) and thrombomodulin (TM)] in patients with TTP/HUS disorders and compared them to controls. The patient groups consisted of adults with TTP/HUS, with (n = 13) and without (n = 14) peak Cr levels >2.0 mg/dl. Additionally, 52 patients with Bone Marrow Transplant-associated Thrombotic Microangiopathy (BMT-TM) following allogeneic BMT were evaluated. Both vWF:Ag and TM were elevated in all patient groups compared to controls. TTP/HUS patients with peak Cr >2.0 mg/dl had higher TM levels (P < 0.001) than did those with peak Cr levels below 2 mg/dl. However, thrombomodulin/ creatinine (TM/Cr) ratios did not differ in these two groups nor did they differ from controls. BMT-TM pts had higher vWF:Ag levels and higher TM/Cr ratios than controls and TTP/ HUS, P < 0.001. The median TM/Cr ratio in BMT-TM was 91 (range = 34-229) compared to 38 (range = 29-50) in controls, P < 0.001 and 38 (range = 6 to 156) in TTP/HUS, P < 0.001. Additionally both TM (P < 0.001) and TM/Cr (P < 0.02) were higher in patients with Grades 3 and 4 BMT-TM compared to those with Grade 2 BMT-TM. These results suggest that endothelial cell activation occurs in TTP/HUS and BMT-TM. Since TM/Cr ratios were higher in BMT-TM compared to TTP/HUS, these findings suggest that the mechanism of elevated TM in BMT-TM cannot be explained solely by altered renal excretion. Taken together, these findings strongly indicate a role of endothelial cell damage in BMT-TM. 相似文献

Although the thrust of the nation's cancer objectives for the year 2000 is prevention and screening, each year approximately 1 million Americans are diagnosed and must cope with the disease and treatments. They do so with the aid of family, friends, and the health care system, but accumulating data suggest that psychological interventions may be important for reducing emotional distress, enhancing coping, and improving "adjustment." Experimental and quasi-experimental studies of psychological interventions are reviewed, and a discussion of treatment components and mechanism is offered. 通过优化调整保护渣成分,保护渣熔点由1 222降至1 188 ℃,黏度由0.26提高到0.32 Pa·s,并进行工业试验,利用Aspex对铸坯不同部位大于2 μm的夹杂进行检测,发现铸坯边部和1/4宽、1/2宽、1/2厚度位置夹杂物均有所降低,同时热轧板卷表面临时封锁率由4.51%降低至2.55%。对采用改进保护渣后铸坯中不同部位夹杂物降低的原因进行分析,研究了保护渣吸附不同质量分数Al2O3夹杂后,保护渣熔化温度、黏度的影响规律,发现当添加Al2O3为12%时,保护渣A熔化温度最高至1 259 ℃;保护渣B熔化温度为1 203 ℃,保护渣A与B的黏度分别为0.79和0.59 Pa·s,黏度过大不利于吸附Al2O3夹杂。 相似文献

Analysis of the literature on the thermophysical properties of mold flux shows that the measurement results for the thermophysical properties of the slag vary significantly, depending on the method employed. On that basis, a model is proposed for calculating the heat flux in the system consisting of the ingot, the slag film, and the mold. Literature data regarding the properties of the slag and industrial data regarding the mold’s wall temperature are employed here. The proposed model permits investigation of the heat flux as a function of the thickness and physicochemical properties of the mold flux. 相似文献
