A novel ultra-wideband printed monopole antenna with a band-notch characteristic and stable omnidirectional radiation is presented. The antenna design adopts a bevelled square patch as a monopole, a double-feed technique and a microstrip feeder embedded with an inverted U-shaped slot. Good agreement between simulation and experiment shows that the proposed antenna achieves an impedance bandwidth of 3.05-5.15 and 6.02-10.84 GHz for VSWRles2, a stable omnidirectional radiation and a low cross-polarisation level.  相似文献

An ultra-wideband (UWB) printed slot antenna, suitable for integration with the printed circuit board (PCB) of a wireless universal serial-bus (WUSB) dongle is presented. The design comprises a near-rectangular slot fed by a coplanar waveguide printed on a PCB of width 20 mm. The proposed design has a large bandwidth covering the 3.1? 10.6 GHz UWB band, unaffected by the ground length, and omnidirectional radiation patterns. A linear phase response throughout the band further confirms its suitability for high-speed wireless connectivity.  相似文献

提出了一种具有陷波功能与分形调谐支节的新型超宽带缝隙天线.该天线的结构类似于一般的微带缝隙天线,通过采用分形调谐支节引入半波长谐振结构,使得该天线不仅具备了超宽带缝隙天线的优点,还具备灵活可调的陷波功能.通过计算、测量和尺度放大实验,充分考察了天线的频域特性.实验结果表明该天线的工作频带为2.66~10.76 GHz,在4.95~5.85 GHz频段上具有陷波功能,同时具有相对稳定的辐射方向性和近似的全向特性.该研究对设计小型超宽带天线具有一定的价值.  相似文献

A new microstrip antenna with a back-to-back configuration relative to a slot on a ground plane is proposed. The proposed antenna has an omnidirectional or bidirectional radiation pattern in a horizontal plane. The characteristics of the proposed antenna were clarified by experiments. The input impedances and radiation patterns were measured as parameters of the slot length. Good input impedances and radiation patterns have been obtained. In this paper a compact switched-beam antenna is proposed. The antenna is composed of a four-element antenna array based on L-shaped quarter-wavelength slot antenna elements. Such an antenna element is a planar structure and presents a directional radiation pattern in the azimuth plane. Its maximum radiation direction is toward near the direction of the open end of the slot. As a result, the open ends of the four slot antennas are arranged toward $0, pi/2, pi$, and $3pi/2$ , respectively. The statuses of these antennas are controlled by some diodes. Consequently, by carefully controlling the diodes, an antenna with several switchable patterns can be achieved. To prove the concept, a 2.4–2.5 GHz switched-beam antenna for WLAN applications is designed and implemented. Its size is 52 mm in square. The antenna possesses eight directional patterns and many nearly omnidirectional patterns in the azimuth plane. The experiment results fully demonstrate the performance of the proposed design. The envelope correlations and the characteristics of the designed antenna are also discussed. Due to the compact size and low manufacture cost, such a design can be a promising solution for digital home applications to overcome multipath problems and increase the transmission data rate.   相似文献

设计制作了一种新型的具有带阻特性的超宽带微带天线。天线采用50Ω共面波导馈电结构,辐射单元采用圆形金属贴片,在圆形贴片上开一个倒U形槽,实现了天线的带阻特性。测试结果表明:在频率段2.8-12.0 GHz内(除5.00-5.95 GHz外)天线驻波比小于2,且天线具有近似全向辐射的特性;而天线在频率段5.00-5.95 GHz内形成了阻带,从而有效阻隔了WLAN(5.150-5.825 GHz)频率段。该天线具有尺寸小,易于与微波电路集成等优点,可以用于超宽带系统。  相似文献

针对需要安装在金属平台上的天线应用,提出了一种具有定向辐射特性的新型多频段背腔式半模基片集成波导缝隙天线。利用半模基片集成波导谐振腔的多模式特性实现了该天线多频段工作,通过在谐振腔的金属顶面蚀刻弯折形状的缝隙实现对外辐射,并可以通过调整弯折缝隙尺寸参数来减小天线尺寸。仿真和测试结果表明,该天线能同时工作在5.7/10.7/11.9/12.5/13.1GHz,且在这5个频段的最低增益大于6.7 dBi。天线具有便于和平面电路集成、体积小、结构简单、成本低等优点,具有一定的工程应用价值。  相似文献

An ultrawideband (UWB) pentagon shape planar microstrip slot antenna is presented that can find applications in wireless communications. Combination of the pentagon shape slot, feed line and pentagon stub are used to obtain 124% (2.65–11.30 GHz) impedance bandwidth which exceeds the UWB requirement of 110% (3.10–10.60 GHz). A ground plane of 50 mm $times$ 80 mm size is used which is similar to wireless cards for several portable wireless communication devices. The proposed antenna covers only the top 20 mm or 25% of the ground plane length, which leaves enough space for the RF circuitry. Three variations of the antenna design using the straight and rotated feed lines on two different substrates are considered. Effect of the conducting reflecting sheet on back of the antenna is investigated, which can provide directional radiation patterns but with reduced matching criteria. Finally, experimental verification of the fabricated antenna for its impedance bandwidth is carried out, which shows agreement with the simulated data.   相似文献

提出了一种应用于WLAN/WiMAX的新颖的多分枝单极天线,天线有三个分枝,结构紧凑,其大小为26mm×24mm×1.6mm,加工出了天线并进行测试,测试结果表明天线具有良好的双波段工作特性,|S11|≤-10dB时对应中心频率2.47GHz和4.825GHz处带宽分别达4%和62.4%,覆盖WLAN的2.4/5.2/5.8GHz频段及WiMAX的3.5/5.5GHz频段,同时采用了接地板开槽技术以调整带宽,天线在上述频段有近似于全向辐射方向图。  相似文献

A novel dual broadband rectangular slot antenna for 2.4 and 5 GHz wireless local area network (WLAN) is proposed. With the use of a U-shaped strip inset at the centre of the rectangular slot antenna, the obtained impedance bandwidths for two operating bands can reach about 10.6% for the 2.4 GHz band and 33.8% for the 5 GHz band, which cover the required bandwidths of IEEE 802.11b/g (2.4-2.484 GHz) and IEEE 802.11a (5.150-5.950 GHz). Details of the antenna design and experimental results are presented and discussed.  相似文献

为提升5G无线通信系统容量,设计了一款基于V 形缝隙耦合馈电的宽带高增益圆极化天线。该天线采用双层辐射贴片结构,拓展天线的阻抗带宽,并分别在辐射贴片和寄生贴片上刻蚀一对半径不等、位置正交的双圆形缝隙,有效改善了天线的圆极化特性。通过加载平板反射器提高天线的前后比,实现良好的定向辐射。实测结果表明,驻波比小于2的阻抗带宽为53.55% (2.27~3.93 GHz),在半功率波束宽度范围内轴比小于3 dB,轴比带宽为27.38%(2.9~3.82 GHz),在工作频带内实测的天线平均增益达到8.22 dBi。该天线适合作为5G多天线系统中的智能天线单元进行自适应波束赋形。  相似文献

提出了一种新型的带有3.4 GHz和5.5 GHz双陷波特性的超宽带天线。天线由马蹄形的辐射贴片和共面波导馈电的传输线组成。回波损耗<-10 dB的阻抗带宽是3.1~10.6 GHz,除了其中3.3~3.7 GHz 的WiMAX和5.15~5.825 GHz 的WLAN两个陷波频段。这些陷波的频段可以通过在天线的辐射贴片上增加长条裂缝和U型缝隙来保证。加工和测试的结果表明,天线有着良好的阻抗带宽和全向辐射方向图。  相似文献

针对5G智能天线双频工作,提出一种基于有源频率选择表面(active frequency selective surface, AFSS)的可重构天线,该天线由蝶形频率可重构馈源和八棱柱形AFSS构成,馈源采用的是共面波导方式馈电的蝶形单极子. AFSS由对称弯钩状缝隙的周期结构构成,通过PIN二极管进行加载,使得AFSS能够在3.4~3.6 GHz和4.8~5.0 GHz两个5G频段互为反射模式和透射模式. 利用AFSS对馈源天线激励的电磁波进行空间调控,可实现两个频段的全向和定向波束的切换,也可实现水平面波束扫描. 根据仿真设计的天线模型进行设计加工和实际测试,结果表明:该天线的工作频段可以覆盖以上两个频段,低频定向波束增益为7.6 dBi,高频定向波束增益为8.6 dBi;并且能实现高/低频双波段切换、全向/定向波束切换和水平面内360°波束扫描功能. 该天线具有波束切换灵活、功耗低、造价低等特点,在新一代无线通信系统中具有一定的应用价值.  相似文献

通过在超宽带印刷单极子天线上开设不同形状和尺寸的缝隙,设计了一种由共面波导馈电的,具有双频陷波特性的超宽带天线.并且通过对天线仿真结果的分析,总结出了缝隙结构参数对天线陷波特性的影响规律.仿真和实测结果表明,除陷波频带外,天线在3.1到10.6GHz频带上的VSWR小于2,在3.4-3.77GHz和4.91-5.87GHz频段上具有良好的陷波特性,较好地避免了系统与WiMAX及WLAN之间的干扰.在非陷波频段上天线具有较好的全向辐射特性.此外,通过对天线表面电流分布情况的详细分析,推导出了天线的等效电路结构.  相似文献

A novel design approach of varying the slot width on radiating patch of a microstrip antenna for achieving reconfigurable dual-band operation is proposed. The design of this miniaturised reconfigurable antenna is done without the use of active switches or MEMS. The dual band is obtained by rotating the strips on the patch creating slots and varying the slot width using mechanical tuning. The strip is rotated in angular position from 0° to 90° varying the slot width that alters the resonant frequency of the antenna making it resonate at different frequencies covering the wireless bands for global system for mobile communication, global positioning system, wireless local area network and Bluetooth. This antenna provides a dual-band operation that shifts over the bands depending upon the slot width. This antenna achieves the bandwidth requirement and gain in the bands of operation. The effect of change in slot width on the radiation pattern is also discussed. The prototype antenna is fabricated and tested to prove the proposed concept of design. A novel miniature planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) design without empty space is presented for 2.4 GHz ISM band applications. The antenna fabricated on an FR4 substrate has an overall size of only 10 (L) x 3 (W) x 3.5 (H) mm3 to be embedded inside the portable devices. By properly adding a shorting pin and etching a bent slot, the operating frequency of the antenna can be lowered more flexibly. Moreover, owing to no additional empty space, the circuit routing on the PCB is permitted underneath and around the antenna. The impedance bandwidth of the antenna is about 160 MHz from 2.39 to 2.55 GHz. Good omnidirectional radiation pattern with appreciable gain across the band can be obtained so that the proposed antenna is suitable for Bluetooth and WLAN applications.  相似文献

A novel compact printed dual-band dipole with an integrated wideband balun is presented. The proposed antenna consists of two radiating microstrip branches and a slot balun etched in the ground plane. With the integrated balun, the proposed antenna yields an impedance bandwidth of 2.38?2.65 and 4.95?6.35 GHz with return loss less than 210 dB, while retaining a compact size of 30 X 25 X 0.8 mm3. The antenna has general good omnidirectional radiation patterns in its H-plane and attains considerable gain characteristics across its dual bands. Measured and simulated results are demonstrated to verify the proposed design.  相似文献

The plan and investigation of a compact offset elliptical ring microstrip patch antenna with a tapered feed line are discussed in this article for super wideband applications. The offered antenna exhibits 188.56% impedance bandwidth (2.31–40.0 GHz). The offered antenna is a low-profile printed antenna and gives a ratio bandwidth of 34.63:1 and a bandwidth dimension ratio of 1732 respectively. The radiation pattern plots of offered antenna exhibit that it accomplishes the durable omnidirectional behavior throughout the impedance bandwidth range. The maximum gain of the offered antenna is 5.81 dBi. The measured results (radiation pattern and S11) are in close agreement with simulated results, which reflects the authenticity of the offered design. Also, the flat group delay and desired isolation make this antenna suitable for many useful applications that include wireless access systems, broadband disaster relief applications, radio local area networks and very-small-aperture terminal.
