This paper proposes an exact and limit analysis framework for numerically assessing the outage performance of the maximum ratio combining in cooperative cognitive networks with proactive relay selection under channel information error on all channels simultaneously, maximum transmit power constraint, interference power constraint, and independent and non-identical fading channels. The proposed framework can be used for corresponding analysis in dual-hop cognitive networks with proactive relay selection to study how much performance gain can be achieved from utilizing the direct channel between the source and the destination in relaying communications. Various results demonstrate considerable system performance degradation and error floor phenomenon due to channel information error. However, performance degradation and error floor degree can be drastically mitigated by increasing the number of relays. Moreover, the direct channel significantly contributes to performance improvement at virtually no cost of system resources such as power and bandwidth.  相似文献

Our contribution in this paper is the derivation of an exact closed-form outage probability formula for underlay cognitive cooperative networks operated over Rayleigh fading channels. The derivation considers the correlation among received signal-to-noise ratios, two critical constraints (interference power constraint and maximum transmit power constraint), and non identically distributed (i.d.) channels. The derived formula is corroborated by Monte Carlo simulations and is served as an useful and effective tool to evaluate the performance behavior of underlay cognitive cooperative networks without time-consuming simulations under different operation parameters. Numerical results illustrate that underlay cognitive cooperative networks suffer the outage saturation phenomenon for a given maximum interference power level.  相似文献

针对采用无线携能通信的多中继底层协作认知非正交多址接入网络,提出一种两阶段中继选择策略。认知中继执行功率划分的无线携能通信协议为次级用户提供解码转发服务,其能量开销源于所采集到的能量。考虑了实际的非正交多址接入网络中,中继节点与次级用户均无法完全消除多址干扰,即无法实现理想连续干扰消除。在干扰阈值约束下,推导了非理想连续干扰消除下两次级用户端中断概率的精确表达式,并通过蒙特卡洛仿真验证其正确性。此外,定量分析了各系统相关参数(最大发射功率、干扰阈值、功率分配系数等)的选取对次级用户中断性能的具体影响。结果表明,在相同的系统参数设置下,所提方案次级用户中断性能远优于现有部分中继选择方案。   相似文献

Recently, cooperative relaying techniques have been integrated into spectrum‐sharing systems in an effort to yield higher spectral efficiency. Many investigations on such systems have assumed that the channel state information between the secondary transmitter and primary receiver used to calculate the maximum allowable transmit secondary user transmit power to limit the interference is known to be perfect. However, because of feedback delay from the primary receiver or the time‐varying properties of the channel, the channel information may be outdated, which is an important scenario to cognitive radio systems. In this paper, we investigate the impact of outdated channel state information for relay selection on the performance of partial relay selection with amplify and forward in underlay spectrum‐sharing systems. We begin by deriving a closed‐form expression for the outage probability of the secondary network in a Rayleigh fading channel along with peak received interference power constraint and maximum allowable secondary user transmit power. We also provide a closed‐form expression for the average bit‐error rate of the underlying system. Moreover, we present asymptotic expressions for both the outage probability and average bit‐error rate in the high signal‐to‐noise ratio regime that reveal practical insights on the achievable diversity gain. This paper evaluates the outage performance of cognitive relay networks with mutual interference between secondary users and primary users under the underlay approach, while adhering to the interference constraint on the primary user. A network path selection criterion, suitable for cognitive relay networks, is provided, from which we derive the outage probability expression of cognitive relay networks. It is shown that the outage probability considering the interference to secondary user from primary user is higher than that without considering the interference to secondary user from primary user. In addition, the outage probability is affected by key network parameters. We analyze network path selection method based on outage probability and prove that the interference to secondary user from primary user has a significant effect on the network path selection and can not be ignored in practical wireless communication environments. Simulation investigation is also provided and used to verify the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

Underlay mechanism allows concurrent communications of primary users and secondary users in cognitive radio networks (CRNs), causing mutual interference between them. However, current literature neglects primary interference or considers it as Gaussian noise. In addition, artificial noise, which is intentionally generated to interfere eavesdroppers, can improve security performance of CRNs. This paper analyzes security performance of CRNs, accounting for artificial noise and considering primary interference as non-Gaussian noise, under maximum transmit power constraint, interference power constraint, and Rayleigh fading channels. The security performance is evaluated through proposed exact expressions of secrecy outage probability, non-zero achievable secrecy rate probability, and intercept probability, which are verified by Monte-Carlo simulations. Various results demonstrate that CRNs suffer security performance saturation in the range of large maximum transmit power or large maximum interference power, and primary interference significantly deteriorates security performance while artificial noise is useful in enhancing this performance.  相似文献

A performance analysis is presented for amplify-and-forward (AF) cooperative relay networks employing transmit antenna diversity with orthogonal space-time block codes (OSTBCs), where multiple antennas are equipped at the transmitter. We develop a symbol-error-rate (SER) and outage performance analysis for OSTBC transmissions with and without cooperative diversity over flat Rayleigh fading channels. We first derive exact probability density functions (pdf's) and cumulative distribution functions (cdf's) for the system SNR without direct transmission with an arbitrary number of transmit antennas and then present the exact closed-form SER and outage probability expressions. Next, we derive the moment-generating function (MGF) for the overall system SNR with direct transmission and present the exact SER and outage probability with joint transmit antenna diversity and cooperative diversity. The theoretical analysis is validated by simulations, which indicate an exact match between them. The results also show how the transmit antenna diversity and the cooperative diversity affect the overall system performance.   相似文献

该文针对多源-多中继放大转发协作通信网络,以最小化系统总功率为目标,在保证系统满足一定中断概率的前提下,提出了一种分布式功率分配与中继选择算法.算法由源节点自主选择为其转发信息的中继节点,并引入定时器,通过竞争方式避免了分布式所导致的中继选择冲突.中继收到来自源节点的信号后,只需根据转发门限自主判断是否进行转发,从而完成传输.仿真结果表明该分布式算法能够有效降低传输所需要的总发射功率.并且与集中式控制所获得的最优中继选择与功率分配算法相比性能相近,但所提分布式算法显著降低了系统的控制开销.  相似文献

It is considered that energy scavenging is a promising way for source node transfer energy to powered constraint relay in cooperative networks with advantage of cost‐effective maintenance and flexible deployment, which so‐called simultaneous wireless information and power transfer. In this paper, relay selection for optimal wireless energy is investigated. In terms of time switching–based relaying, this paper considers the performance comparison of 3 proposed relay selection schemes, namely, (1) optimal relay selection scheme , (2) maximum harvested energy relay selection scheme , and (3) minimum self‐interference relay selection . In particular, the system performance is studied intensively with regard to outage probability and throughput over Rayleigh fading channels. We also achieve the integral form for accurate expressions and closed form for approximate expressions. Finally, these analytical expressions are proved exactness according to Monte Carlo simulation.  相似文献

The communication efficiency of primary networks in cognitive radio depends on wireless environments, such as obstacles (e.g. buildings), distances between transmitter and receiver, and limited transmit power. A cooperative model between primary and secondary networks has the potential to overcome these problems. In this paper, we propose and analyze the performance of a decode-and-forward scheme with relay ordering for secondary spectrum access. In this scheme, a primary transmitter communicates with a primary receiver with the help of two secondary transmitters. Each secondary transmitter relays primary signals from the primary transmitter to primary receiver, and follows an optimal order to ensure the best communication capacity of the primary network and to find opportunities to transmit its own signals. The performance of primary and secondary networks is evaluated by theoretical analysis in terms of outage probability. Monte Carlo simulations are presented to verify the theoretical analysis and to compare the performance of the proposed protocol with that of a direct transmission protocol and a decode-and-forward protocol with a relay selection scheme.  相似文献

This paper proposes a joint clustering relay selection and beamforming method for a more realistic cooperative cognitive radio network, in which a secondary network of multiple secondary links and a relay network coexist with a primary network of one primary link. We aim to improve performance of the system in terms of maximizing the received signal power of the secondary destinations, subject to the constraint of received interference plus noise power of the primary destination using the proposed method. Since different relays cooperate differently towards the signals at the secondary and primary destinations, the proposed method can improve the performance of the system and enables the relay network to simultaneously transmit signals of all secondary links toward the destinations by clustering the relays. Results of simulations confirm validity of the method and improve the system performance compared to the existing cooperative beamforming and Zero-Forcing beamforming, in which no relay selection strategy is used.  相似文献

This paper analyzes the performance of a cooperative nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) in an underlay cognitive radio network aided by an energy harvesting relay. A secondary source transmits signal for two users, where a near user acts as a relay for the far user. The far user applies the selection combining (SC) approach on the signals which were relayed by the near user and received via direct path from the secondary source. We analytically derive the outage probability (OP) of each user separately, the overall system OP, and the throughput of the system. The impact of the power allocation coefficient of NOMA and energy harvesting parameters on outage is indicated. Further, the performance of the network is investigated with imperfection in successive interference cancellation (SIC), maximal ratio combining (MRC) at relay, and Nakagami-m fading. 研究了功率受限情况下多中继协作通信网络的中继选择和功率优化问题。在AF网络中,提出了一种低复杂度中继选择与功率分配算法,其目标是在总功率一定的条件下使系统的中断概率最小。本算法对源节点和所有潜在中继节点进行功率分配,结合当前信噪比选择最优的中继集合,通过最速下降法求出使系统中断概率最低的功率分配因子。该算法不需要知道大量瞬时信道信息、不需要系统在等功率条件下进行中继选择,只需求得中继节点排列矩阵便可根据当前信噪比自适应获得最优中继节点集合。仿真结果表明,在相同条件下,该算法明显优于不同中继节点集合下几种算法的中断性能,并且与传统的SAF及AAF算法相比,有效降低了中断概率,提升了系统性能和功率效率。  相似文献

Cooperative communication is a promising technique for future wireless networks. It can be used in improving communication reliability and enhancing spectrum efficiency by using the broadcast nature of radio communication and exploiting cooperative diversity. However, its performance gain degrades in the presence of co‐channel interference, which makes it essential to propose interference mitigation schemes. In this paper, we introduce three cooperative communication schemes with interference management for multi‐user cooperative wireless networks. The first scheme (best relay selection) is used as a performance benchmark because it completely avoids the interference problem by using the Frequency‐Division Multiple Access technique. The second scheme (best available relay selection) maximizes the received signal‐to‐noise ratio while keeping the interference levels below a certain threshold, and the third scheme (General Order Relay and User Selection) is based on iterative resource allocation algorithm. We derive exact closed‐form expressions of average bit error probability, outage probability, and average consumed power for the proposed schemes. Simulations are used to validate the analytical results. 本文把非正交多址接入(NOMA)技术与认知网络相结合,提出了一种基于多中继选择的认知NOMA网络模型。考虑了在瑞利衰落信道下,主网络借助次级网络中的全双工中继实现可靠通信,作为回报,次级网络允许接入授权频谱来传输次级信号。中继同时接收主次信号后,采用串行干扰消除技术(SIC)依次解码主次信号,并根据NOMA协议转发信号到主次用户端。推导了在两种中继选择策略下认知NOMA网络中断概率,并通过了蒙特卡罗仿真验证。仿真结果表明,两阶段中继选择策略和全双工技术能有效提高系统中断性能。   相似文献

Non-orthogonal multiple (NOMA) access using successive interference cancellation and cognitive radio are two promising techniques for enhancing the spectrum efficiency and utilization for future wireless communication systems. This paper presents a NOMA-based cooperative hybrid spectrum sharing protocol for cognitive radio networks. A two phase decode-and- forward (DF) relaying scheme in a multi-relay scenario is considered. Each secondary transmitter is grouped into one of the two clusters: a non-cooperative cluster (NCC) and a cooperative cluster (CC). The cluster head (CH) of the CC working as the best DF relay for the primary system is permitted to transmit its own signal superimposed on the primary signal using a NOMA approach in exchange for cooperation. On the other hand, the CH of the NCC transmits in parallel with the primary system satisfying a predefined peak transmit power and peak interference power constraints that guarantee a given primary quality of the service requirement. It is demonstrated that the performances of both the primary and secondary systems increase with the increasing number of secondary nodes. The simulation and theoretical results affirm the efficacy of the proposed protocol compared to the traditional overlay and underlay models in terms of the outage probability and the ergodic capacity.  相似文献

该文提出了一种在非再生协作网络中,基于信道统计特性的最优中继选择方法。首先在等功率条件下,根据信道统计特性,定义一个等效信道增益的参数,该参数反映了中继节点在协作过程中两个阶段的信道特性。然后提出一种基于该参数的降序排列的中继选择方法。该方法在不同的信噪比范围内,选择不同的节点集合,使得系统的吞吐率中断概率最小。分析表明该选择方法的分集增益阶数能达到N+1,N为中继节点数目。仿真结果表明这种中继选择算法的中断概率性能优于其他算法。该方法进一步与功率分配相结合,构成了一种低复杂度的次优的中继选择方法。仿真结果表明这种次优算法能够取得和穷举算法相似的性能。  相似文献

In this paper, we examine an adaptive decode-and-forward cooperative protocol under interference constraint. In the proposed protocol, relying on the obtained instantaneous signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs), a direct link or relay link is used to transmit data from the secondary source to the secondary destination. In addition, once the relay link is used, the secondary source and relay must adapt their transmit power to maximize the instantaneous SNR of this link. To evaluate the performance of the proposed protocol, we derive closed-form lower-bound and upper-bound expressions for the outage probability over Rayleigh fading channel. Finally, various Monte-Carlo simulations are presented to verify our analysis and compare the performance of the proposed protocol with that of the direct transmission protocol in underlay cognitive network.  相似文献
