Thermodynamic properties of 1,1,1-trifluoroethane (R143a) are expresed in terms of a 32-term modified Benedict-Webb-Rubin (MBWR) equation of state. Coefficients are reported for the MBWR equation and for ancillary equations used to lit the ideal-gas heat capacity, and the coexisting densities and pressure along the saturation boundary. The MBWR coefficients were determined from a multiproperty fit that used the following types of experimental data:PVT: isochoric, isobaric, and saturated-liquid heat capacities: second virial coefficients: speed of sound and properties at coexistence. The equation of state was optimized to the experimental data from 162 to 346 K and pressures to 35 MPa with the exception of the critical region. Upon extrapolation to 500 K and 60 MPa, the equation gives thermodynamically reasonable results. Comparisons between calculated and experimental values are presented.  相似文献

New correlations for the thermodynamics properties of R134a are presented. A classical equation for the molar Helmholtz energy is used with temperature and density as the independent variables. The equation is accurate for both the liquid and vapour phases at pressures up to 70 Pa, and for a temperature range from the triple point to 450 K. Temperatures are given on the new International Temperature Scale of 1990 (ITS 90). The equation was developed by using experimental data for pressure-volume-temperature (PVT) properties, isochoric heat capacity, second virial coefficients, speed of sound and coexistence properties. Comparisons with experimental data and with two other equations of state are given. Ancillary equations representing the saturated liquid and vapour densities and the vapour pressure are also presented.  相似文献

A parametric crossover equation of state for pure fluids is adapted to binary mixtures. This equation incorporates scaling laws asymptotically close to the critical point and is transformed into a regular classical expansion far away from the critical point. An isomorphic generalization of the law of corresponding states is applied to the prediction of thermodynamic properties and the phase behavior of binary mixtures over a wide region around the locus of vapor-liquid critical points. A comparison is made with experimental data for pure R32, R 125 and R 134a, and for R32 + R 134a and R 125 + R32 binary mixtures. The equation of state yields a good representation of thermodynamic property data in the range of temperatures 0.8Tc(x) ≤ T ≤ 1.5Tc(x) and densities 0.35 ?c(x) ≤ ? ≤ 1.65?c(x).  相似文献

This paper reports on the development and application of a thermodynamic model based on the second-order Modified Huron Vidal equation of state (MHV-2) to predict the properties of ternary mixtures of the refrigerants R32, R125, and R134a. The mixing rules of this equation of state have been used to incorporate directly an activity-coefficient model for the excess Gibbs free energy. The parameters for the activity-coefficient model have been derived from experimental VLE data for binary mixtures. This methodology has enabled the production of a thermodynamically consistent model which can be used to predict the phase equilibria of R32/R125/R134a mixtures. The input data used in the model are presented in the paper and the predictions of the model are compared with available experimental data. The model has been used to predict the behavior of ternary refrigerant blends of R32/R125/R134a in fractionation scenarios, such as liquid charging and vapor leakage, which are of direct interest to the refrigeration industry. Experimental results of measurements of the thermodynamic and transport properties of refrigerant R134a are presented for the temperature range 240–400 K and pressures up to 89 bar. The thermal properties of the saturated refrigerant were also determined. The results from this study showed that the dependence of viscosity on temperature near the critical region was nonlinear. This observation shows that errors resulting from using previous literature data for design purposes could vary from about 1.5% at 251 K to 30% at 343 K. A computer (IBM PC) was used to obtain empirical relationships for evaluating the thermophysical properties of R134a based on various sets of independent variables.  相似文献

A theoretically based simplified crossover model, which is capable of representing the thermodynamic properties of fluids in a large range of temperatures and densities around the critical point, is presented. The model is used to predict the thermodynamic properties of R134a in the critical region from a limited amount of available experimental information. Values for various thermodynamic properties of R134a at densities from 2 to 8 mol·L–1 and at temperatures from 365 to 450 K are presented.  相似文献

The paper reports new measurements of the viscosity of liquid R134a over the temperature range 235 to 343 K and pressures up to 50 MPa. The measurements have been carried out in a vibrating-wire viscometer calibrated with respect to the viscosity of several liquid hydrocarbons. It is estimated that the uncertainty in the viscosity data reported is ±0.6%. The data therefore have a lower uncertainty than that of earlier measurements of the viscosity of this environmentally acceptable regrigerant. The viscosity data have been represented as a function of density by means of a formulation based upon the rigid, hard-sphere theory of dense fluids with a maximum deviation of ±0.3%. This representation allows the present body of experimental data to be extended to regions of thermodynamic state not covered by the measurements.  相似文献

The objectives and activities of the International Energy Agency-Annex 18 are summarized. One of the goals of the Annex was to determine the formulations that best represent the thermodynamic properties of HFC-134a and HCFC-123. The formulations selected were those which accurately represented the experimental data and simultaneously exhibited thermodynamic consistency. Methods of comparison include analysis of the experimental data, statistical comparisons of values calculated from the property formulations to experimental values, and graphical analyses of the thermodynamic surface. The analytical methods used are summarized in this paper. The equations of state reviewed in these comparisons represented the most accurate formulations available in December 1992. Four equations of state were reviewed for HFC-I34a and three equations of state were considered for HCFC-123. These equations represented the work of independent researchers in Germany, Japan, and the United States. Thermal-conductivity measurements are reported for the new refrigerants R134a, R152a und R123. Transient hot-wire experiments were performed which cover both the liquid and vapor states at temperatures and pressures ranging from?=?20°C to 90°C and fromp=0.1 bar to 60 bar respectively. The results are correlated with density and temperature. In addition temperature dependent correlations are presented for (i) saturated liquid, (ii) saturated vapor, (iii) ideal gas (which equals approximately vapor state at ambient pressure). Finally the results are compared with data from the literature and also with the thermal conductivities of R12 and R11.  相似文献

This paper reports the results of the measurement of the viscosity of R134a close to the saturation line in the vapor phase. The new measurements were carried out in a vibrating-wire viscometer specially constructed for the purpose, and the results have an accuracy of ±2%. In addition, the opportunity is taken to present a reevaluation of earlier measurements along the saturation line of the viscosity of R32 and R125. Improved equations of state for these fluids are now available and can be employed to generate improved values for the viscosity.  相似文献

New equations for the thermal conductivity and the viscosity of R134a that are valid in a wide range of pressures and temperatures are presented. They were obtained through a theoretically based, critical evaluation of the available experimental data, which showed considerable inconsistencies between data sets, in particular in the vapor phase. In the critical region the observed enhancement in the thermal conductivity is well represented by a crossover model for the transport properties of fluids. Since thermodynamic properties enter into the calculation of the critical enhancement of the transport properties, a new fundamental equation for the critical region was developed also.Paper dedicated to Professor Joseph Kestin.  相似文献

New, absolute values of the thermal conductivity of two refrigerants, R134a and R141b, in the liquid phase at saturation are reported. The measurements have been performed in transient hot-wire instruments making use of electrically insulated tantalum wires within the temperature range 240–307 K. 使用PR(Peng-Robinson)方程对混合工质R134a/R23进行了气液相平衡的预测和焓、熵的计算.针对PR方程液相精度比较差的问题,对PR方程引入了修正系数,重新推导了逸度系数、余函数等表达式,并将计算结果与实验数据进行了比较.根据计算得到的R134a/R23热物性数据,绘制了工程上广泛使用的二元混合工质的焓-浓度图,为基于该混合工质的循环计算,提供了重要的基础数据.  相似文献

This paper reports new measurements of the liquid viscosity of R134a and R32 in the temperature range 270 to 340 K and pressures up to 20 MPa. The measurements have been carried out in a vibrating-wire instrument calibrated with respect to the standard reference value of the viscosity of water. It is estimated that the uncertainty of the present viscosity data is one of 0.5%. The experimental data have been represented by polynomial functions of temperature and pressure for the purposes of interpolation.  相似文献

The Redlich-Kwong-Soave equation parameters are calculated in order to predict the thermodynamic properties of the following refrigerants: R14, R23, R13, R13B1, R22, R115, R12, R152a, R142b, R114, R11. It is shown that both forms of this equation may be employed for practical engineering uses over broad temperature and pressure ranges; however the second form gives more reliable results for the examined refrigerants.  相似文献
