A systematic realization of third-order quadrature oscillator using a voltage-mode non-inverting lowpass filter and a voltage-mode inverting lossless feedback integrator is presented in this paper. The proposed circuit consists of two multiple-output differential voltage current conveyor transconductance amplifiers (MO-DVCCTAs), two grounded resistors and three grounded capacitors. The new circuit provides three quadrature voltage outputs, two high-impedance quadrature current outputs, and one high-impedance current output with controllable amplitude, simultaneously. When the input bias current of the first MO-DVCCTA is a modulating signal, the circuit can generate amplitude modulation or amplitude shift keying signals. The condition of oscillation and the frequency of oscillation can be controlled independently through grounded resistors. The proposed circuit only uses grounded capacitors and grounded resistors, which can be easily implemented as an integrated circuit. The experimental results and H-Spice simulation results are given to confirm the theoretical analysis. 相似文献

This article presents a new electronically tunable single‐element‐controlled current‐mode quadrature sinusoidal oscillator circuit using current differencing transconductance amplifiers (CDTAs). The proposed oscillator is consisted of two CDTAs, two grounded capacitors and one grounded resistor, which is beneficial to monolithic integrated circuit implementation both in CMOS and bipolar technologies. The condition of oscillation and the frequency of oscillation are independently controllable. The frequency of oscillation can also be electronically controlled by adjusting the bias current of CDTA. The circuit provides four quadrature current outputs and two quadrature voltage outputs. The current output terminals possess high impedance level. PSPICE simulation results are used to verify the performance of the proposed circuit implemented at the transistor level. The measurement results support the computer simulations. 相似文献

A single-resistance-controlled quadrature oscillator circuit using current differencing buffered amplifiers (CDBAs) as active components is proposed. The proposed circuit is realised through the employment of two CDBAs, three resistors and two grounded capacitors. Outputs of two sinusoidal with 90° phase difference are available. The oscillation condition and the oscillation frequency of the proposed quadrature oscillator can be controlled independently by a single resistor. In comparison with the previously reported circuits, the proposed configuration considerably reduces the number of passive elements. 相似文献

A new lossy inductor (parallel R-L type) using single current differencing buffered amplifier (CDBA) is presented, which employs only two resistors and a grounded capacitor. The proposed lossy inductor is shown to be useful in realizing an oscillator circuit, which provides quadrature voltage outputs using only two CDBAs, three resistors and two grounded capacitors and offers independent control on condition of oscillation and frequency of oscillation up to a frequency of 61 MHz. Detailed non-ideal analysis including single-pole model for voltage and current gain has also been carried out. SPICE simulation results and experimental results based upon the CDBA constructed from commercially available IC AD844 have been included which confirm the practical workability of the proposed lossy inductor and quadrature oscillator circuit. 相似文献

Three current-mode universal biquadratic filters each with five input terminals and one output terminal are presented. The first proposed circuit uses three multi-output second-generation current conveyors, two grounded capacitors and three resistors. This circuit offers the following advantageous features: orthogonal controllability of resonance angular frequency and quality factor, high output impedance, the versatility to synthesize all standard filter types without component matching condition and using grounded capacitors. The second proposed circuit uses three multi-output second-generation current conveyors, two grounded capacitors and two resistors. This circuit offers the following advantageous features: using minimum passive components, high output impedance, the versatility to synthesize all standard filter types without component matching condition and using grounded capacitors. The third proposed circuit uses three multi-output second-generation current conveyors, two grounded capacitors and three grounded resistors. This circuit offers the following advantageous features: the versatility to synthesize all standard filter types, high output impedance and using only grounded passive components. Each of the proposed circuits can get five kinds of filter functions by using only one current input signal. 相似文献

This paper presents a first of its kind canonic realization of active RC (ARC) sinusoidal oscillator with non-interactive/independent tuning laws, which simultaneously provides buffered quadrature voltage outputs and explicit quadrature current outputs. The proposed circuit is created using a new active building block, namely the Z-copy controlled-gain current differencing buffered amplifier (ZC-CG-CDBA). The circuit uses three resistors and two grounded capacitors, and provides independent/non-interactive control of the condition of oscillation (CO) and the frequency of oscillation (FO) by means of different resistors. Other advantageous features of the circuit are the inherent electronic tunability of the FO via controlling current gains of the active elements and the suitability to be employed as a low-frequency oscillator. A non-ideal analysis of the circuit is carried out and experimental results verifying the workability of the proposed circuit are included. 相似文献

This paper presents a new realization of resistorless mixed-mode (i.e. both voltage-mode and current-mode) quadrature sinusoidal oscillator using a new active building block (ABB) called the differential voltage current-controlled conveyor transconductance amplifier (DVCCCTA). The proposed oscillator circuit uses a single DVCCCTA, two grounded capacitors (GCs) and does not employ any external linear resistors. The tuning laws for the condition of oscillation (CO) and the frequency of oscillation (FO) are non-interactive; and controlled by separate bias currents. The circuit provides two explicit quadrature current outputs and two quadrature voltage outputs and thus can be classified as a mixed-mode quadrature oscillator. Another notable feature of the proposed circuit is that it can also be used as a biquadratic filter to realize low-pass and band-pass filtering functions simultaneously. Non-ideal analysis of the circuit is provided and PSpice simulation results have been included to verify the workability of the proposed circuit. 相似文献

This article introduces a circuit which can function both as a quadrature oscillator and as a universal biquad filter (lowpass,
highpass, bandpass). When the circuit functions as a universal biquad filter, the quality factor and pole frequency can be
tuned orthogonally via the input bias currents. When it functions as a quadrature oscillator, the oscillation condition and
oscillation frequency can be adjusted independently by the input bias currents. The proposed circuit can work as either a
quadrature oscillator or a biquad filter without changing the circuit topology. The amplitude of the proposed oscillator can
be independently controlled via the input bias currents. The proposed oscillator can be applied to provide amplitude modulated/amplitude
shift keyed signals with the above-mentioned major advantages. The circuit is very simple, consisting of four dual-output
second generation current controlled current conveyors (DO-CCCIIs), one operational transconductance amplifier (OTA), and
two grounded capacitors. Without any external resistors and using only grounded elements, this circuit is therefore suitable
for IC architecture. PSPICE simulation results are depicted here, and the given results agree well with the theoretical analysis.
The power consumption is approximately 7.32 mW at ±2.5 V supply voltages. 相似文献

In this paper, a versatile three‐input five‐output universal capacitor‐grounded voltage‐mode filter is proposed. The circuit employs two differential voltage current conveyors as active elements together with two grounded capacitors and four resistors as passive elements. The proposed configuration can be used as either a single‐input five‐output or three‐input two‐output. Unlike the previously reported works, it can simultaneously realize five different generic filtering signals: lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandreject, and allpass. It still maintains the following advantages: (i) the employment of all grounded capacitors, (ii) no need to employ inverting‐type input signals, (iii) no need to impose component choice, (iv) orthogonal control of the resonance angular frequency ωo and the quality factor Q, and (v) low active and passive sensitivity performances. 相似文献

Two new multiple-mode (including voltage, current, transconductance, and transresistance modes) OTA-C universal biquad filters
are proposed. The first proposed circuit uses only four operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs) and two grounded capacitors.
The second proposed circuit uses five OTAs and two grounded capacitors. Both the proposed circuits can realize voltage, current,
transconductance, and transresistance mode universal filtering responses (low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, notch, and all-pass)
from the same topology. The first proposed circuit uses the least number of components. This represents an attractive feature
from a chip area and power consumption point of view. The second proposed circuit has no need of extra inverting and non-inverting
amplifiers for special input signals. Moreover, both the proposed biquads still have (i) the employment of two grounded capacitors,
(ii) cascadable connection of the former voltage-mode stage and the latter current-mode stage, and (iii) low sensitivity performance.

Three third-order quadrature oscillators are proposed. Outputs of two sinusoids with 90° phase difference are available in each quadrature oscillator circuit. The oscillation condition and oscillation frequency of each proposed quadrature oscillator are orthogonal controllable. All proposed circuits employ only grounded capacitors. The use of only grounded capacitors is ideal for integration. Experimental results are included to confirm the theoretical analysis. 相似文献

A new universal current-mode biquad with two inputs and three outputs or three inputs and two outputs using only two second-generation current conveyors and four grounded/virtual-grounded passive elements is proposed. The proposed circuit has the following advantages: simultaneous realization of five generic current-mode filter signals from the same configuration; no requirements of any cancellation constraints; employment of two grounded capacitors ideal for integrated circuit implementation; employment of two grounded/virtually grounded resistors suitable for voltage control; orthogonal adjustment of ω0/Q and ω0 through two separate grounded/virtually-grounded resistors; high output impedance good for cascadability for the current-mode circuits; and low active and passive sensitivities. 相似文献

The realisation of two electronically tunable current-mode quadrature oscillators using Current Controlled Current Conveyor Tranconductance Amplifiers (CCCCTAs) and grounded capacitors is presented. The proposed circuits offer the following advantages. The condition of oscillation and the frequency of oscillation can be orthogonally controlled. Availability of electronic control of amplitude of output current is achieved. The oscillators have high outputs impedance which facilitates easy driving an external load without additional current buffers. The proposed circuits are constructed by using two active elements and all grounded capacitors which are attractive for integration and have low active and passive sensitivities. The PSPICE simulation and experimental results are included to show the workability of the proposed circuit. 相似文献

Two novel universal current-mode filters using unity-gain current followers (CFs) and voltage followers (VFs) are presented. The first one, employing three CFs, one VF, two grounded capacitors and two resistors, has two inputs and three outputs. The second one, employing only two CFs, one VF, two grounded capacitors and two resistors, has four inputs and a single output. Both proposed circuits oOEer the following advantageous features: universal current-mode filter realization from the same configuration, no requirements of component matching conditions, employment of two grounded capacitors ideal for integration, employment of two virtually grounded resistors good for voltage control, easy adjustment of ω0/Q and ω0 through separate virtually grounded resistors and low active and passive sensitivity performance. 相似文献

This paper reports realizations of current-mode quadrature sinusoidal oscillator using only two multiple-output current conveyors
(first or second generation current conveyor CCI/CCII) and four passive components including two grounded capacitors. Therefore,
the circuits employ minimum number of passive components to realize a second-order sinusoidal oscillator. Three types of circuits
are reported depending on the condition of oscillation and frequency of oscillation (FO). The circuits have FO controllable
by either resistor or capacitor and are suitable to be used as variable frequency oscillator for different applications. All
the circuits provide two explicit quadrature current outputs from high output impedance terminals. PSPICE simulation results
are included to verify the workability of the proposed circuits. 相似文献

This letter proposes a new realization of voltage/current-mode (CM) quadrature oscillator (QO) using Current Differencing
Transconductance Amplifier (CDTA) as the active element. The proposed circuit employs canonic number of components, namely
two CDTAs, one resistor and two grounded capacitors. The oscillator is capable of providing two explicit quadrature current
outputs and two quadrature voltage outputs. Moreover, the circuit enjoys the advantage of independent control of condition
of oscillation (CO) and frequency of oscillation (FO). The non-ideal analysis and sensitivity study of the circuit has been
carried out and the circuit exhibits a good sensitivity performance. B2SPICE simulation results are included that validate
the working of the circuit. 相似文献

New configurations are proposed which realise multiple-input-single-output-type multifunction current mode and voltage mode biquads capable of realizing the low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, and notch functions from the same configuration using only a single current feedback op-amp, four resistors and two grounded capacitors. The new circuits offer several advantageous features over the previously known single-current feedback op-amp/second generation current conveyor-based biquads. Electronic tunability of ωo is feasible by replacing the resistors by appropriately-valued CMOS voltage-controlled-resistors driven by a common external control voltage. PSPICE simulation and hardware implementation results are given which have demonstrated the workability of the proposed configurations. 相似文献
