Conclusions The effect of precipitation bath parameters on the physicomechanical properties of integrally spun sausage casings prepared using radiation-modified cellulose has been studied.It has been found that the use of radiation-modified cellulose ensures the possibility of producing a high-quality product with a reduction of the consumption of carbon disulfide in xanthation to 10–15% based on wt. of -cellulose.Ukrainian NIIV (Kiev). Conclusions -- The process of preparing viscose from radiation-modified cellulose using carbon disulfide in the range of 6–32% of the weight of -cellulose in the xanthation has been investigated.-- Equations have been given which describe the dependence of the degree of esterification of the cellulose xanthate, the ripeness index, the byproduct content, the viscosity, and the filterability of the viscoses on CS2 consumption in xanthation within the range 6–32% by wt.-- It has been found that a decrease in consumption of CS2 primarily affects the viscosity of the viscoses obtained, and then it affects figures which characterize the content of byproducts, degree of esterification of the cellulose xanthate, ripeness, and the filterability of the spinning solutions.Translated from Khimicheskie Volokna, No. 5, pp. 51–53, September–October, 1991.  相似文献

A general thermodynamics‐related model of oxygen solubility, previously developed for water and aqueous inorganic solutions, has been applied to bleaching solutions. The model allows estimations of dissolved oxygen concentrations to be made for different combinations of temperature, oxygen partial pressure and inorganic solute concentrations likely to be encountered during oxygen bleaching of pulp. Combination of the model with oxygen diffusion kinetics allows optimum temperatures for transport‐controlled oxygen delignification rates to be estimated.  相似文献

In order to develop environmentally friendly coloured materials, cellulose composite spherical microbeads hybridised with titanium dioxide (TiO2) particles and inorganic pigment were prepared by a phase-separation method using viscose and an aqueous solution containing sodium polyacrylate. Findings regarding the relationships between cellulose xanthate and the electronic characteristics of TiO2 particles used in the cellulose/inorganic material composite sphering process are also reported. These findings suggest that the location of TiO2 particles in cellulose microbeads is related to electrical repulsion between the xanthate (CSS) group and TiO2. The use of TiO2 powder as colour pigment is limited, as its colour is white. The cellulose composite spherical microbeads covered with TiO2 and Fe2O3 particles were developed by addition of iron oxide (Fe2O3). Their surfaces were viewed by laser microscope and using SEM images. These composite microbeads retained the photocatalytic property of TiO2. Cellulose/TiO2/Fe2O3 composite spherical microbeads with both colour function and photocatalytic properties were successfully prepared.  相似文献

Conclusions The material volume of fabrics from viscose textile yarn of linear density 6.7 tex is considerably less, and the basic qualities are the same as, cloth from serially produced viscose yarn of 8.4 tex linear density.The runnability of an experimental yarn of 6.7 tex linear density on basic knitting machines is considerably better than that of yarn of 8.4 tex linear density, which permits one to increase the productivity of labor and equipment.The use of viscose yarn of 6.7 tex linear density permits one to expand the assortment of tricotage articles with a significant reduction in volume of material and cost of production.This work was performed under the direction of Professor M. A study of electrochemical bleaching of cellulose pulp was carried out in an electrolyte cell composed of a horizontal graphite anode and a parallel stainless screen steel cathode, using NaCl as electrolyte. Variables studied were: current density, sodium chloride concentration, pulp concentration, pH and temperature. The rate of bleaching was found to increase with increasing current density, salt concentration and temperature. The rate of bleaching was found to decrease with increasing pH and pulp concentration. Energy consumption ranged from 0.1 kWh kg?1 (pulp) to 1.75 kWh kg?1 (pulp), depending on current density and degree of bleaching. The quality of electrochemically bleached pulp was found to compare favourably with that of chemically bleached pulp.  相似文献

Conclusions A procecure has been developed for the photometric determination of the aluminum sulfate content of a mixed zinc-aluminum-containing precipitation bath in viscose manufacturing, using the bifunctional organic reagent chromazo-BRZ.The procedure is highly selective, simple, and rapid. The relative mean-squared deviation (variation coefficient) is 2.4% for an aluminum sulfate concentration of 20–30 g/dm3.The authors express his thanks to N. N. Viscose chars have been prepared under several different conditions and with four inorganic impregnants. The reaction with CO2 was studied at several temperatures and the Arrhenius parameters A and E were evaluated. For these related chars A and E were found to conform to the Compensation Effect, In A = β + αE; the isokinetic temperature was 900 K. It is also shown that for such a system of chars the experimentally determined variable In (rate constant) also varies linearly with E for chars activated at the same temperature. Whilst E for a given char is independent of the extent of activation, A is not.  相似文献
