In this paper, we show that a linear unbounded operator associated with an Euler–Bernoulli beam equation under shear boundary feedback generates a C0-semigroup in the underlying state Hilbert space. This provides an answer to a long time unsolved problem due to the lack of dissipativity for the operator. The main steps are a careful estimation of the Green's function and the verification of the Riesz basis property for the generalized eigenfunctions. As a consequence, we show that this semigroup is differentiable and exponentially stable, which is in sharp contrast to the properties possessed by most feedback controlled beams based on a passive design principle.  相似文献

The object of the present paper is the investigation and study of (fuzzy) hyperideals in H v - semigroups. Regular equivalence relations play in H v - semigroup theory a role analogous to congruences in semigroup theory, so we introduce fuzzy regular equivalence relations on H v -semigroups and then we study fuzzy Rees regular relations on H v -semigroups. Using this ideas, we establish a relation between fuzzy hyperideal of an H v -semigroup H and fuzzy hyperideal of a quotient H v -semigroup of H. The problem of mixed H2/H∞ filtering for polytopic Delta operator systems is investigated. The aim is to design a linear asymptotically stable filter which guarantees that the filtering error system has different performances in different filtering channels. Based on a parameter-dependent Lyapunov function, a new mixed H2/H∞ performance criterion is presented. Upon this performance criterion, a sufficient condition for the full-order mixed H2/H∞ filter is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The filter can be obtained from the solution of a convex optimization problem. The proposed filter design procedure is less conservative than the strategy based on the quadratic stability notion. A numerical example is given to illustrate the feasibility of the proposed approach.  相似文献

Recent papers have considered the problem of minimizing an entropy functional subject to an H performance constraint. Since the entropy is an upper bound for the H2 cost, there remains a gap between entropy minimization and H2 minimization. In this paper we consider a generalized cost functional involving both H2 and entropy aspects. This approach thus provides a means for optimizing H2 performance within H control design.  相似文献

The problem of H filtering of stationary discrete-time linear systems with stochastic uncertainties in the state space matrices is addressed, where the uncertainties are modeled as white noise. The relevant cost function is the expected value, with respect to the uncertain parameters, of the standard H performance. A previously developed stochastic bounded real lemma is applied that results in a modified Riccati inequality. This inequality is expressed in a linear matrix inequality form whose solution provides the filter parameters. The method proposed is applied also to the case where, in addition to the stochastic uncertainty, other deterministic parameters of the system are not perfectly known and are assumed to lie in a given polytope. The problem of mixed H2/H filtering for the above system is also treated. The theory developed is demonstrated by a simple tracking example.  相似文献

Two conjectures on admissible control operators by George Weiss are disproved in this paper. One conjecture says that an operator B defined on an infinite-dimensional Hilbert space U is an admissible control operator if for every element uU the vector Bu defines an admissible control operator. The other conjecture says that B is an admissible control operator if a certain resolvent estimate is satisfied. The examples given in this paper show that even for analytic semigroups the conjectures do not hold. In the last section we construct a semigroup example showing that the first estimate in the Hille–Yosida theorem is not sufficient to conclude boundedness of the semigroup.  相似文献

For a linear time invariant system, the infinity-norm of the transfer function can be used as a measure of the gain of the system. This notion of system gain is ideally suited to the frequency domain design techniques such as H optimal control. Another measure of the gain of a system is the H2 norm, which is often associated with the LQG optimal control problem. The only known connection between these two norms is that, for discrete time transfer functions, the H2 norm is bounded by the H norm. It is shown in this paper that, given precise or certain partial knowledge of the poles of the transfer function, it is possible to obtain an upper bound of the H norm as a function of the H2 norm, both in the continuous and discrete time cases. It is also shown that, in continuous time, the H2 norm can be bounded by a function of the H norm and the bandwidth of the system.  相似文献

In this paper, the H disturbance attenuation problem of bilinear system is discussed. Dynamic game theory is used to solve this bilinear minimax problem. The solvability of H disturbance attenuation in bilinear system is also discussed. The techniques of tensor products and formal power series are employed to solve the nonlinear Bellman-Isaac differential equation. Furthermore, the convergence for the tensor formal series approach of this H control problem is discussed, and the radius of convergence for this H control to be well defined is also obtained.  相似文献

This paper addresses the issues of stability, L2-gain analysis and H control for switched systems via multiple Lyapunov function methods. A concept of general Lyapunov-like functions is presented. A necessary and sufficient condition for stability of switched systems is given in terms of multiple generalized Lyapunov-like functions, which enables derivation of improved stability tests, an L2-gain characterization and a design method for stabilizing switching laws. The problem of robust H analysis and synthesis for linear discrete-time systems with norm-bounded time-varying uncertainty is studied in this paper. It will be shown that this problem is equivalent to the problem of H analysis and synthesis of an auxiliary system. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the equivalency are proved. Let H(z) be a given function in H2 A classical problem in engineering analysis is to find a rational function G (z) ε H2 degree M say, which is closest to H(z) in 2-norm. This problem is typically approached using the cost function |H(z) − G(z)|2, in which G(z) is allowed to vary over the set of Mth-order rational functions in H2 and for which stationary points are sought. We show that each stationary point of degree M of this functional coincides with a weighted Hankel-norm approximant to H(z). The weighting function derives from the outer factor of the error function H(z) − G(z) stationary point of the rational H2 approximation problem.  相似文献

In this paper we present a linear-time algorithm for approximating a set ofn points by a linear function, or a line, that minimizes theL 1 norm. The algorithmic complexity of this problem appears not to have been investigated, although anO(n 3) naive algorithm can be easily obtained based on some simple characteristics of an optimumL 1 solution. Our linear-time algorithm is optimal within a constant factor and enables us to use linearL 1 approximation of many points in practice. P2-Packing问题是一个典型的NP难问题.目前这个问题的最好结果是时间复杂度为O*(25.301k)的参数算法,其核的大小为15k.通过对P2-packing问题的结构作进一步分析,提出了改进的核心化算法,得到大小为7k的核,并在此基础上提出了一种时间复杂度为O*(24.142k)的参数算法,大幅度改进了目前文献中的最好结果.  相似文献

Controllability analysis is concerned with determining the limitations on achievable dynamic performance. This paper proposes the use of linear programming to determine the best linear controller and corresponding dynamic performance for problems of the form: . That is, a controller, K, and a reference operating point, u0, are selected to minimise a specified objective, J, while ensuring feasibility for all disturbances, w, within a specified set, W. When K is a linear time invariant (LTI) controller and the objective function J and the constraints c can be expressed as linear functions then the above problem can be solved by linear programming. This formulation encompasses a wide range of problems ranging from minimising the maximum deviation in the regulated outputs subject to disturbances of magnitude less than one (the l1 optimal control problem) to optimising the expected value of a linear economic objective (the Optimal Linear Dynamic Economics (OLDE) problem). The relationship of this work to other approaches to controllability analysis is discussed. A highly flexible framework for addressing typical process performance requirements through appropriate selection of J, c and W is presented. The relative merits of alternative approaches for defining the achievable closed loop transfer functions based on the -parameterisation are carefully discussed. The feasibility of the proposed approach is demonstrated on an industrial reactor example. The needs for further work are discussed.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the H2-control problem of discrete-time Markovian jump linear systems. We assume that only an output and the jump parameters are available to the controller. It is desired to design a dynamic Markovian jump controller such that the closed-loop system is mean square stable and minimizes the H2-norm of the system. As in the case with no jumps, we show that an optimal controller can be obtained from two sets of coupled algebraic Riccati equations, one associated with the optimal control problem when the state variable is available, and the other associated with the optimal filtering problem. This is the principle of separation for discrete-time Markovian jump linear systems. When there is only one mode of operation our results coincide with the traditional separation principle for the H2-control of discrete-time linear systems. Date received: June 1, 2001. In this paper we show that the H synthesis problem for a class of linear systems with asynchronous jumps can be reduced to a purely discrete-time synthesis problem. The system class considered includes continuous-time systems with discrete jumps, or discontinuities, in the state. New techniques are developed for the analysis of asynchronous time-varying hybrid systems which allow a particularly simple treatment, and provide an elementary proof for the sampled-data H problem.  相似文献

This paper discusses the problem of robust H control for linear discrete time two-dimensional (2-D) singular Roesser models (2-D SRM) with time-invariant norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. The purpose is the design of static output feedback controllers such that the resulting closed-loop system is acceptable, jump modes free, stable and satisfies a prescribed H performance level for all admissible uncertainties. A version of bounded realness of 2-D SRM is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Based on this, a sufficient condition for the solvability of the robust H control problem is solved, and a desired output feedback controller can be constructed by solving a set of matrix inequalities. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed approach.  相似文献

It is known that the so-called H control problem of a nonlinear system is locally solvable if the corresponding problem for the linearized system can be solved by linear feedback. In this paper we prove that this condition suffices to solve also a globalH control problem, for a fairly large class of nonlinear systems, if one is free to choose a state-dependent weight of the control input. Using a two-way (backward and forward) recursive induction argument, we simultaneously construct, starting from a solution of the Riccati algebraic equation, a global solution of the Hamilton–Jacobi–Isaacs partial differential equation arising in the nonlinear H control, as well as a state feedback control law that achieves global disturbance attenuation with internal stability for the nonlinear systems.  相似文献

The L2-gain almost disturbance decoupling problem for SISO nonlinear systems is formulated. Sufficient conditions are identified for the existence of a parametrized state feedback controller such that the L2-gain from disturbances to output can be made arbitrarily small by increasing its gain. The controller is explicity constructed using a Lyapunov-based recursive scheme. Sufficient conditions for the solvability of the almost disturbance decoupling problem and the explicit construction of teh controller are given for a more restrictive class of nonlinear systems.  相似文献
