In this year, Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) has undergone the first tests successfully, and the EAST distributed data system has been reliably operated in the EAST experimental campaigns. This paper gives an overview of this system.The EAST distributed data system is based on the design of, and the experiences with the HT-7 data system; it is aimed to be a distributed, real-time and scalable system. The EAST distributed data system includes control subsystem, data acquisition subsystem and data service subsystem. Control subsystem provides remote control of the all data acquisition units, full information management and state monitoring; data acquisition subsystem that provide real-time and quasi-real-time data support for long-pulse operation consists of a set of autonomous data acquisition units which support autonomous operating and remote control. Data service subsystem is responsible for storing and publishing data.  相似文献

The HT-7 is a superconducting tokamak in China used to make researches on the controlled nuclear fusion as a national project for the fusion research. The plasma density feedback control subsystem is the one of the subsystems of the distributed control system in HT-7 tokamak (HT7DCS). The main function of the subsystem is to control the plasma density on real-time. For this reason, the real-time capability and good stability are the most significant factors, which will influence the control results. Since the former plasma density feedback control system (FPDFCS) based on Windows operation system could not fulfill such requirements well, a new subsystem has to be developed. The paper describes the upgrade of the plasma density feedback control system (UPDFCS), based on the dual operation system (Windows and Linux), in detail.  相似文献

Neutral beam injector is one of the main plasma heating and plasma current driving methods for experimental advanced superconducting tokomaks (EAST). In order to realize visual operation of EAST neutral beam injector’s control system (NBICS), main control console (MCC) is developed to work as the human–machine interface between the NBICS and physical operator. It can meet the requirements of visual control of NBICS by providing a user graphic interface. With the specific algorithms, the setup of power supply sequence is relatively independent and simple. Displaying the real-time feedback of the subsystems provides a reference for operators to monitor the status of the system. The MCC software runs on a Windows system and uses C++ language code while using client/server (C/S) mode, multithreading and cyclic redundancy check technology. The experimental results have proved that MCC provides a stability and reliability operation of NBICS and works as an effective man–machine interface at the same time.  相似文献

In order to improve the synchronization, flexibility and expansibility of the plasma control on HT-7, a new plasma control system (HT-7 PCS) was constructed. The HT-7 PCS was based on a real-time Linux cluster with a well-defined, robust and flexible software infrastructure which was adapted from DIII-D PCS. In this paper, the hardware structure and system customization details for HT-7 PCS are reported. The plasma position and current control, plasma density control and off-normal event detection, which were realized in separated systems originally, have been integrated and implemented in such HT-7 PCS. All these control algorithms have been successfully validated in the last several HT-7 experiment campaigns. Good control performance has been achieved and the experiment results are discussed in the paper.  相似文献

The cryostat of HT-7U tokamak is a large vacuum vessel surrounding the entire basic machine with a cylindrical shell,a dished top and a flat bottom.The main function of HT-7U cryostat is to provide a thermal barrier between an ambient temperature test hall and a liquid helium-cooled superconducting magnet.The loads applied to the cryostat are from sources of vacuum pressure,dead weight,seismic events and electromagnetic forces originated by eddy currents.It also provides feed-through penetrations for all the conecting elements inside and outside the cryostat.The main material selected for the cryostat is stainless steel 304L.The structural analyses including buckling for the cryostat vessel under the plasma operation condition have been carried out by using a finite element code.Stress analysis results show that the maximum stress intensity was below the allowable value.In this paper,the structural analyses and design of HT-7U cryostat are emphasized.  相似文献

The ITER Vacuum Vessel has upper, equatorial and lower port structures. The bottom ports are dedicated to the divertor replacement (five ports) and to vacuum pumping by means of cryopumps (four ports). The latest cryopump port design is more complex as it has a pump with a direct view of the vessel (upper cryopump) and a second pump at the end of a branch port (lower cryopump).3D neutronic analyses have been performed in order to study the radiation conditions in and around the port system. In detail, nuclear heating on the cryopump has been calculated updating previous analysis performed in 2003 [L. Petrizzi, ITER CTA Detailed Neutronic Analyses, Final Report on contract EFDA/01-633 ENEA ref NE-VV-R-001 April 2003. Also included in Nuclear Analyis Report NAR ITER ref document G 73 DDD 2W 0.2 (v2.0) March 2006]. Calculations have been performed by means of MCNP 5 Monte Carlo code supplied with FENDL 2.1 library. In this work a new 40° model of ITER has been used in which full details of the cryopump system and remote handling ports have been included as well as the updated divertor components.The paper will present the neutronics results. They consist of nuclear heating on cryopump components; a map of dpa and helium production is provided as well.Gamma doses after shutdown have been calculated around the port flange to have an idea of the possible dose to which the eventual operator will be subject and to plan adequately manual operations.The cryopump is located at a distance of almost 5 m from the mouth of the divertor port and it is 3 m long. Calculations of such deep penetration problem are very challenging require special variance reduction techniques with Monte Carlo codes in order to use in an efficient way the computer resources. EAST (HT-7U) is a large fusion experimental device. It is a full superconducting tokamak with 1 MA of plasma current, 1000 s of plasma duration, high elongation and triangularity. It mainly consists of superconducting magnets of poloidal and toroidal field (PF & TF), vacuum vessel (VV), thermal radiation shield (TRS) and cryostat vessel (CV). The significant difficulty for assembly of EAST is tight installation tolerances, which are in the order of several tenth of a millimeter. In particular, the alignment of plasma facing components to the magnetic axis of the device is less than ±0.5 mm. At present, a reasonable assembly process of EAST has been defined, and based on it, the alignment method for EAST, including the survey control network, the location of the main components in different directions, the magnetic axis determination and the accurate positioning of the plasma facing components inside of the vacuum vessel and so on, has been defined by using the sophisticated optical metrology system (SOMS). This paper describes the assembly procedure of EAST and the installation tolerances associated with the main components. Meanwhile, how to establish the assembly survey control network, magnetic axis determination methods, are introduced in detail.  相似文献

Controlling the poloidal field(PF) in the HT-7U superconducting tokamak is critical to the realization of the mission of advanced tokamak research.Plasma start-up,plasma position,shape,current control and plasma shape reconstruction have been performed as a part of its design process.The PF coils have been designed to produce a wide range of plasmas,Plasma start-up can be achieved for multiple conditions.Fast controlling coils for plasma position inside the vacuum vessel are sued for controloling the plasma vertical position on a short timescale.The PF coils control the plasma current and shape on a slower timescale,VXI(VME bus extensions for Instrumentation)Bus system and DSP(Digital Signal Processor is a basic unit of the feedback control system),the response time of which is about(2-4)ms.The basic unit of this system ,the shape-controlling algorithms of a few critical points on plasma boundary and real-time equilibrium fitting(RTEFIT)will be described in this paper.  相似文献

A-35kV/2.8MW/1000s high-voltage power supply(HVPS) for HT-7 superconducting tokamak has been built successfully.The HVPS is scheduled to run on a 2.45 GHz/1MW lower hybrid current drive(LHCD)^[1] system of HT-7 superoonducting tokamak before the set-up of HT-7 superconducting tokamak in 2003.The HVPS has a series of advantages such as good steady and dynamic response,logical computer program controlling the HVPS without and fault,operationa panel and experimental board for data acquisition.which both are grounded distinctively in a normative way to protec the main body of HVPS along with its attached equipments from dangers.Electric power cables and other control cables are disposed reasonably,to prevent singals from magnetic interference and ensure the precision of signal transfer.This paper involves the experiment and operation of a 35kV/2.8 MW/1000s HVPS^[2] for 2.45 GHz/1 MW LHCD system.The reliability and feasibility of the HVPS has been demonstrated in comparison with experimental results of original design and simulation data.  相似文献

A distributed control system of Neutral Beam Injector(NBI) on the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak(EAST-NBI) is briefly presented in this paper.The control system is developed in accordance with the experimental operational characteristics of the EASTNBI.The NBI control system(NBICS),which is based on the computer network technologies and classified according to the control levels,consists of three levels:a remote monitoring layer,a server control layer,and a field control layer.The 3-layer architecture is capable of extending the system functions and upgrading devices.The timing system provides the reference clock of the synchronization and interlock for the EAST-NBI system.An interlock system ensures the safety of the experiment operators and field devices.Both of the ion sources of the beamline are designed to operate independently.This lays an important foundation for developing a control system for the second beamline on EAST.Experimental results demonstrate that the NBICS meets functional requirements of the EAST-NBI control,and makes experimental operations visual and automatic.  相似文献

HT-7 is the first superconducting tokamak device for fusion research in China. Many experiments have been done in the machine since 1994, and lots of satisfactory results have been achieved in the fusion research field on HT-7 tokamak^[1]. With the development of fusion research, remote control of experiment becomes more and more important to improve experimental efficiency and expand research results. This paper will describe a RCS (Remote Control System),the combined model of Browser/Server and Client/Server, based on Internet of HT-7 distributed data acquisition system (HT7DAS). By means of RCS, authorized users all over the world can control and configure HT7DAS remotely. The RCS is designed to improve the flexibility, opening, reliability and efficiency of HT7DAS. In the paper, the whole process of design along with implementation of the system and some key items are discussed in detail. The System has been successfully operated during HT-7 experiment in 2002 campaign period.  相似文献

The Experiment of Modulated Toroidal Current on HT-7 and HT-6M Tokamak   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
The Experiments of Modulated Toroidal Current were done on the HT-6M tokamak and HT-7 superconducting tokamak. The toroidal current was modulated by programming the Ohmic heating field. Modulation of the plasma current has been used successfully to suppress MHD activity in discharges near the density limit where large MHD m = 2 tearing modes were suppressed by sufficiently large plasma current oscillations. The improved Ohmic confinement phase was observed during modulating toroidal current (MTC) on the Hefei Tokamak-6M (HT-6M) and Hefei superconducting Tokamak-7 (HT-7). A toroidal frequency-modulated current, induced by a modulated loop voltage, was added on the plasma equilibrium current. The ratio of A.C. amplitude of plasma current to the main plasma current △Ip/Ip is about 12% ~ 30%. The different formats of the frequency-modulated toroidal current were compared.  相似文献

The PF (Poloidal Field) control system is one of the most important control systems in HT-7 Tokamak.Most of parameters such as plasma current, plasma horizontal position and plasma vertical position will be monitored.For the purpose of long-pulse discharge and the more precise control to plasma, the real-time operation system VxWorks is applied, instead of the behindhand and unbefitting DOS operation system. This paper describes the development process of HT-7 PF control system based on VxWorks on Intel X86 platforms. The method of using hardware cards in VxWorks, and the network communication with other operation systems are discussed especially. The new accelerator project ( HIRFL-CSR ) constructed at the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL) is approaching completion. It is a multipurpose cooler-storage-ring system, consisting of a maim ring (CSRm), an experimental ring (CSRe) and two transfer beam lines. The UHV system of CSRm is the most representative subsystem in the project. To minimize the beam loss due to charge exchange of the heavy ions with the residual gas molecules, the pressure of the CSRm vacuum system should reach 3.5 × 10^-9 Pa (N2 equivalent) and the pressure of 8 × 10^-10 Pa is expected for very heavy ion such as uranium to make its lifetime longer than 50 s in the ring. Now, the vacuum system of CSRm has been completed and a pressure less than 5 × 10^-10 Pa has been obtained. In this paper the layout of the CSRm vacuum system, the vacuum equipment in CSRm, the treatment method for the CSRm vacuum chambers, and the installation and operation of the system will be reported.  相似文献

Neutral Beam Injection(NBI) is one of the most effective means for plasma heating.Experimental Data Publishing Software(EDPS) is developed to publish experimental data to get the NBI system under remote monitoring.In this paper,the architecture and implementation of EDPS including the design of the communication module and web page display module are presented.EDPS is developed based on the Browser/Server(B/S) model,and works under the Linux operating system.Using the data source and communication mechanism of the NBI Control System(NBICS),EDPS publishes experimental data on the Internet.  相似文献

In order to make a research on long pulse or even steady state operation with non-inductive drive in plasma discharge, a new feedback control scheme instead of the previous one has been designed and operated in HT-7 [HT-7 team presented by J. Li, et al., Plasma Phys. Control. Fusion 42 (2) (2000) 135-146] Tokamak experiment, 2004. Consumption of iron-core transformer magnetic flux (MFT) is feedback controlled for the first time by power of lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) PLH, when the Ohmic-heating circuit current can maintain the plasma current IP constant with another feedback control loop, which make MFT evolve at alternating-change state to avoid flux saturation. Plasma current IP can be maintained steadily up to 120 s in this operation mode at reduced plasma parameters (IP ≈ 50-100 KA, average density , PLH = 100-200 KW). Design and experimental results are presented in the paper, which including control model analysis, configurations of control system and MFT feedback control experiments in HT-7. The high voltage power supply (HVPS) of LHCD is the main controller that regulates the LHCD power into the plasma to control the MFT.  相似文献

This article describes the data processing and acquisition system for the HT-7 multipulse Thomson scattering diagnostic. An eight-pulse laser is used in the Thomson scattering system to obtain electron temperature profiles at eight different times throughout an entire plasma discharge. The major components of the diagnostic system consist of a multipulse iNd-glass laser,a photodetector‘‘s subsystem, a calibration set and a CAMAC data processing and acquisition system. The data processing software along with LeCroy 2250L will perform the data acquisition.In order to simplify the operation and extend the capability of its compatibility with other math softwares, the processing software has been improved by the authors. The new software based on the VC easily utilizes some math softwares to calculate the electron temperature. The new software is simpler and more operational than the old one.  相似文献
