The company METPROMMASh has been developing and introducing metallurgical technologies and equipment for the nonferrous metals sector for more than 10 years. A particular focus of the company has been the construction of furnaces for recycling aluminum-and copper-bearing scrap and waste products. Furnaces made by METPROMMASh are currently being used by shops and factories that recycle nonferrous metals, these furnaces being suited for recyclers that process from 100 to 2000 tons of scrap a month. The furnaces are built on the grounds of the customer’s scrap storage facility after the most efficient location has been chosen for the metallurgical and auxiliary equipment, the system for handling the movement of materials has been planned, and the feasibility of further processing of the recycled metal has been determined. Depending on the composition of the metallurgical equipment, a recycling complex can be built in a minimum of four months on an area 300 m2 or larger. __________ Translated from Metallurg, No. 4, p. 45, April, 2006.  相似文献

This article discusses the advantages of medium-frequency induction furnaces and refining units based on them that can be used to refine both ferrous and nonferrous metals. Due to automation of the processes that take place in these furnaces and reductions made in atmospheric emissions and noise level’ they are highly efficient and cost-effective’ consume small amounts of electric power’ and are convenient and safe to operate. The induction refining units made by the company RELTEK can be built with automatic charging and weighing equipment that will not only reduce staffing requirements but also accurately account for the metal that is remelted. Automation of furnace-charging increases these units’ productivity by shortening the amount of time spent on auxiliary operations.  相似文献

冷钢STEL-TEK型2#3#连铸坯切割机采用的是火焰切割机。原切割机零部件易坏,难于维修、操作,不能有效地应对铸坯跑偏以及在生产中难于更换切割枪等。为此采取了一些措施,对切割机进行了适应性改造。结果表明,改造后的系统运行稳定,故障率低。  相似文献

采用废铅指数(S)作为衡量废铅资源状况的指标,简明地分析了铅产量变化、废铅回收状况与S值之间的关系。结果表明,铅产量增长,会造成废铅资源短缺;反之,产量下降,废铅资源将比较充足;产量不变,废铅资源状况介于以上二者之间。废铅实得率愈高,废铅资源愈充足。根据统计数据,估算了1990~2000年间中国、瑞典、美国的S值,讨论了这三个国家S值不同的原因及其今后可能发生的变化。  相似文献

This article reports on the steel-scrap balance in Russia and analyzes the demand for this resource from the steelmaking industry, as well as the potential sources of steel scrap. It is shown that the continuing growth of electric steelmaking in Russia will soon be challenged by shortages of steel scrap in the market and the need to more thoroughly process the scrap that will be available. Calculations show that when it is necessary to charge additional steel scrap into an arc furnace twice after the cold charge, the unit consumption of electric power is increased by 8.7 kWh/ton cast semifinished product and the heat is lengthened by 3 min. __________ Translated from Metallurg, No. 6, pp. 46–50, June, 2006.  相似文献

The scrap consumption in the electrosmelting of steel in Russia is predicted. Data regarding the introduction of electric arc furnaces in 2013 and the construction of mini mills relying primarily on metal scrap in the period up to 2020 are derived from official Russian sources. The production of electrosteel will continue to expand as a result of the shutdown of open-hearth furnaces and the introduction of new electrosmelting shops in Russia.  相似文献

In an ECSC project several aspects of tramp element control in steel were studied by a group of steel producers and research institutes in the European Union. Upgrading of incinerator scrap and shredded automobile and consumer durable scrap was realised through size and density separation and by pre‐dismantling and sorting of goods before shredding. Removal of tin from tinplate by pre‐treatment with reactive gases was investigated. A dezincing process was developed by dissolution of the zinc‐alloy layer in caustic soda followed by electrochemical deposition of zinc. Results of laboratory scale trials showed that generation of high mass transfer between the phases metalslag‐gas as well as vacuum distillation of the solute elements influencing the evaporation rate can remove copper and zinc from steel melts. A mass balance for the distribution of zinc and lead between metal, slag and dust during scrap melting in an EAF was established. Additional sponge iron charging is a very efficient measure to lower zinc and lead content due to the CO boiling effect during melting.  相似文献
