This study was undertaken to quantify thin aggregative fimbriae and cellulose produced by Salmonella and to evaluate their roles in attachment and biofilm formation on polystyrene and glass surfaces. Thin aggregative fimbriae and cellulose produced by four wild-type and two pairs of Salmonella, representing four different colony morphotypes (rdar: red, dry, and rough; pdar: pink, dry, and rough; bdar: brown, dry, and rough; and saw: smooth and white), were quantified. The ability of the Salmonella cells to attach and form biofilms on the selected surfaces was evaluated in Luria-Bertani (LB) broth with or without salt (0.5%) or glucose (2%) at 28 degrees C during a 7-day period. The cells expressing the rdar or pdar colony morphotypes produced significantly greater amounts of thin aggregative fimbriae and cellulose on LB no salt agar, respectively. The cells expressing the rdar colony morphotype attached in higher numbers and formed more biofilm than did the cells expressing the pdar colony morphotype. The members of the pairs expressing the bdar colony morphotype attached more efficiently and formed more biofilm on the tested surfaces than did their counterparts expressing the saw colony morphotype. These results indicated that thin aggregative fimbriae impart attachment ability to Salmonella and, upon coexpression with cellulose, enhance biofilm formation on certain abiotic surfaces. The knowledge acquired in the study may help develop better cleaning strategies for food processing equipment.  相似文献

The MICs of streptomycin for Salmonella isolates from swine and poultry were determined by a micro-broth dilution technique. The Salmonella isolates were recovered from the lymph nodes and cecal contents of market-age swine and from the cecal contents of poultry at the time of slaughter and were found by disk diffusion to be resistant to 10 microg of streptomycin. MIC testing was carried out with the Sensititre susceptibility system for streptomycin, which uses a microwell concentration gradient of 16 to 800 microg/ml. Results indicated that >80% of the swine isolates had MICs of < or = 64 microg/ml, while 51% of poultry isolates exhibited MICs of > or = 128 microg/ml. The highest MICs observed in swine and poultry were 256 and 800 microg/ml, respectively. Replicate tests performed on 12 of the isolates chosen at random indicated a 100% correlation between runs. Advantages of this system include easily read results and precoated wells. Disadvantages include the cost and the inability to test concentrations of streptomycin other than those in the wells. We found this micro-broth dilution commercial test kit to provide a relatively quick and easy testing procedure for the determination of streptomycin resistance in Salmonella.  相似文献

The broth microdilution method was used to determine the activities of selected antimicrobial agents used in the South African poultry industry (danofloxacin, neomycin, chlortetracycline, oxytetracycline, tylosin and colistin) and vancomycin against bacterial isolates previously obtained from carcasses and selected equipment surfaces and environmental sources associated with poultry processing. The antimicrobial susceptibilities of 38 isolates of Staphylococcus (S.) aureus, 25 Listeria (L.) innocua, 18 L. monocytogenes, and 62 isolates belonging to six Salmonella (Salm.) serotypes (Salm. agona, Salm. blockley, Salm. enteritidis, Salm. isangi, Salm. reading and Salm. typhimurium) were determined. The most active antimicrobial agent against all the isolates tested was danofloxacin with minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) for 90% of the isolates (MIC90) not exceeding 0.25 and 2 microg/ml for gram-negative and gram-positive isolates, respectively. Conversely, high MICs were recorded for all the isolates tested against chlortetracycline and oxytetracycline (MIC90 range of 32 to > 512 microg/ml), except for the L. monocytogenes and Salm. enteritidis isolates (MIC range of < or = 0.5-4 microg/ml). Neomycin was found to be active against S. aureus, L. innocua, L. monocytogenes, Salm. enteritidis and Salm. isangi isolates, with MICs not exceeding 8 microg/ml. MIC ranges for tylosin and vancomycin, which were only tested against the gram-positive isolates, were from 1 to > 512 microg/ml and from 1 to 4 microg/ml, respectively. The MIC range for the remaining antimicrobial agent, colistin, which was only tested against the Salmonella isolates, was 0.5-16 microg/ml. The lack of MIC breakpoints for the antimicrobial agents used in the poultry industry did not allow for definite conclusions as to the level of resistant bacteria associated with poultry carcasses and the processing environment in this study.  相似文献

One hundred fifty-eight Salmonella strains isolated from pork carcasses in a nationwide screening program in Taiwan from 2000 through 2003 were analyzed for serotype distribution and antimicrobial susceptibility. Twenty Salmonella serotypes were obtained, among which Derby, Anatum, Typhimurium, and Schwarzengrund were the most frequently isolated, accounting for 76% of the strains. Antimicrobial susceptibility tests with the microdilution method were performed on these serotypes to determine the MIC. All strains tested were sensitive to ceftriaxone, with an MIC90 (minimum concentration inhibiting 90% of isolates tested) of 0.25 to 8 microg/ml. More than 60% of the strains were resistant to ampicillin, chloramphenicol, tetracycline, nalidixic acid, and sulfamethoxazole, with MIC90 values of 128 to >512 microg/ml. More than 80% of the Salmonella Schwarzengrund strains were resistant to ciprofloxacin (MIC90 = 8 microg/ml) and enrofloxacin (MIC90 = 16 microg/ml). The Salmonella Typhimurium strains exhibited 17 and 23% resistance to ciprofloxacin and enrofloxacin, respectively, with an MIC90 of 8 microg/ ml, and these two antibiotics also were active against Salmonella Derby and Salmonella Anatum. Cephalothin, gentamicin, and trimethoprim had limited activity against Salmonella Anatum and Salmonella Schwarzengrund, with MIC90 values of 256 to >512 microg/ml. Cephalothin and gentamicin were moderately active against Salmonella Derby and Salmonella Typhimurium, but 30 to 40% of these strains were resistant to trimethoprim. The Salmonella strains isolated from pork carcasses in Taiwan were relatively resistant to the antimicrobial agents tested, with the exception of ceftriaxone. Although a variety of MIC values were obtained, generally these values were high.  相似文献

为了解我国市售鸡肉中沙门菌多重耐药状况及耐药程度,对国家食源性疾病监测网从市售鸡肉中分离到的51株沙门菌进行耐药检测,并对多重耐药谱进行分析。利用NccLs(National Committee of Clinical Labaratory Standard)推荐的纸片法进行耐药检测,51株分离菌株全部对至少3种以上的抗生素耐药,属多重耐药株,耐5种抗生素的9株(17.6%),耐6~9种抗生素的12株(23.5%),耐10种以上抗生素的9株(17.6%)。51株沙门菌对万古霉素、红霉素、苯唑西林都具有耐药性(100%),对其它抗生素的耐药情况是:萘啶酮酸(52.9%)、磺胺(35.3%)、链霉素(33.3%)、四环素(29.4%)、氨苄青霉素(23.5%)、羧苄西林(21.6%)、阿莫西林(19.6%)、吡拉西林(19.6%)、美唑西林(17.6%)、强力霉素(17.6%)、氯霉素(13.7)和头孢噻吩(9.8%)。有3株菌对庆大霉素耐药,有2株菌对丁胺卡那霉素和甲氧苄胺嘧啶耐药,有1株菌对复方新诺明耐药。分离出1株耐15种抗生素的鼠伤寒沙门菌,其耐药谱与超级耐药鼠伤寒沙门菌DTl04的耐药谱类似。从8省市市售鸡肉中分离的51株沙门菌均为多重耐药株,提示我国畜牧养殖业在使用抗生素方面存在严重问题,应加强对饲料添加剂使用的安全性管理,合理使用抗生素。  相似文献

Salmonella isolates from raw, chilled, retail chickens (n = 434) sampled between 1998 and 2000 were tested for resistance to 12 antibiotics. Of 23 salmonellas isolated, 30% were susceptible and 30% were resistant or intermediately resistant to one antibiotic, 26% to two, and 13% to four or more. One Salmonella Saint-Paul and two Salmonella Typhimurium isolates were resistant to more than four antibiotics. Highest resistance rates were sulfonamide (52%), streptomycin (26%), tetracycline (22%), and ampicillin (17%). Isolates (n = 27) from frozen chicken portions (n = 150) imported from Brazil and Thailand (generally for manufacturing and catering) were also tested. Brazilian salmonellas showed no multiple resistance, but an isolate of Salmonella Virchow from Thai chickens was resistant to two antibiotics. This compared with 39% resistance to two or more antibiotics in nonimported isolates. Resistance patterns of both sets of chicken isolates were compared with human fecal clinical isolates (n = 274) submitted for routine examination at this hospital, and a greater similarity was found between the clinical and local isolates than with imported salmonellas. Sulfonamide resistance in imported salmonellas was lower than that of nonimported and clinical isolates. Resistance to one or more antimicrobial was found in 70% of nonimported raw retail chickens, 52% of imported chicken breast fillets, and 84% of human fecal isolates. Multiple resistance (to four or more antibiotics) is a much more limited problem.  相似文献

Staphylococcus aureus can be carried on the skin and nasal passages of humans and animals as a commensal. A case of human methicillin-resistant S. aureus infection resulting from contact with pork has been reported. Poultry carcasses are sold at retail with the skin intact, but pork and beef typically are not. Thus, the risk of methicillin-resistant S. aureus human infection from whole raw poultry carcasses may be greater than that of exposure from pork or beef. The objective of this study was to isolate and characterize S. aureus from whole retail poultry carcasses and compare the isolates to S. aureus isolates from humans. A total of 25 S. aureus isolates were collected from 222 whole poultry carcasses. The isolates were characterized phenotypically with antibiotic resistance disc diffusion assays and genotypically using multilocus sequence typing. A total of 17 S. aureus isolates obtained from healthy humans were included and characterized in the same way as the poultry isolates. Staphylococcus spp. were recovered from all poultry carcasses. Only 25 poultry carcasses (11.2%) were contaminated with S. aureus. Of these 25 isolates, 36% were resistant to at least one of the antibiotics tested and 20% were resistant to two or more antibiotics tested. However, 100% of the human isolates were resistant to at least one of the antibiotics and 94% were resistant to two or more antibiotics. The results of the multilocus sequence typing indicate that most of the isolates grouped according to source. These results indicate a low prevalence of S. aureus present in poultry, and the isolates were not phenotypically similar to human isolates. The low number of S. aureus isolates from this study indicates that chicken carcasses would appear to not be a significant source of this bacterium.  相似文献

Conventional pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) protocols, used extensively as a successful approach for subtyping many salmonellae, may be inadequate for discriminating strains sharing levels of homogeneity within the same serotype. Four additional restriction enzymes (SpeI, PacI, SfiI, and NotI), in addition to XbaI and BlnI, were used in PFGE typing of 33 Salmonella Heidelberg, 27 Salmonella Kentucky, 27 Salmonella SaintPaul, and 27 Salmonella Hadar isolates that were recovered from poultry and porcine retail meats from different states of the United States. A dendrogram derived from the combined analysis of six enzymes was highly discriminatory with a Simpson index of diversity value of over 0.950. The ratio of nodes to isolates was more than 0.75 with an average of fewer than three isolates in each polytomy for all four serotypes. Two three-enzyme combinations, SpeI/NotI/SfiI for Salmonella Heidelberg and Salmonella Hadar, and SpeI/BlnI/SfiI for Salmonella Kentucky and Salmonella SaintPaul, were found to have comparable discriminatory abilities of differentiating isolates of these Salmonella serotypes with the six-enzyme combination. The enhanced discriminatory PFGE-based subtyping scheme can be used effectively for the differentiation of strains of the four Salmonella serotypes. The findings also highlight PFGE analysis as a continued essential and informative subtyping method for source tracking and outbreak investigations of these and other Salmonella pathogens.  相似文献

As part of a larger study to assess risk factors associated with hide and carcass contamination of beef cattle during transport to slaughter, a total of 281 salmonellae were isolated from 1,050 rectal, hide, carcass, and environmental samples. For feedlot cattle, salmonellae were recovered from 4.0% of rectal samples, 37.5% of hide samples, 19.0% of carcass samples, and 47.4% of environmental samples. For nonfeedlot cattle, salmonellae were recovered from 10.9% of rectal samples, 37.5% of hide samples, 54.2% of carcass samples, and 50.0% of environmental samples. Overall, the five serotypes most commonly associated with feedlot cattle and their environment were Salmonella Anatum (18.3% of the isolates), Salmonella Kentucky (17.5%), Salmonella Montevideo (9.2%), Salmonella Senftenberg (8.3%), and Salmonella Mbandaka (7.5%). The five serotypes most commonly associated with nonfeedlot cattle and their environment were Salmonella Kentucky (35.4%), Salmonella Montevideo (21.7%). Salmonella Cerro (7.5%), Salmonella Anatum (6.8%), and Salmonella Mbandaka (5.0%). Antimicrobial susceptibility testing of all of the isolates associated with feedlot cattle revealed that 21.7% were resistant to tetracycline, compared with 11.2% of the isolates associated with nonfeedlot cattle. None of the other isolates from feedlot cattle were resistant to any of other antimicrobial agents tested, whereas 6.2% of nonfeedlot cattle isolates were resistant to more than four of the antimicrobial agents tested.  相似文献

The spread of antibiotic resistance via meat poses a serious public health concerns. During 2007-2009, a total of 586 retail meat samples (318 pork and 268 chicken meats) were collected from three provinces (Bac Ninh, Ha Noi and Ha Tay) of North Vietnam to determine the prevalence of Salmonella. Isolates were characterized by serotyping and antibiotic susceptibility testing. Approximately 39.6% (n=126) of pork and 42.9% (n=115) of chicken samples were Salmonella-positive, and 14 Salmonella serovars were identified. Anatum (15.8%) was the most common serovar, followed by Infantis (13.3%), Emek (10.4%), Derby and Rissen (9.5%), Typhimurium (9.1%), Reading (7.5%) and London (6.2%). The isolation frequency of serovars Enteritidis, Albany, Hadar, Weltevreden, Newport and Blockey ranged from 1.2%-5.8%. Resistance to at least one antibiotic agent was detected in 78.4% of isolates (n=189) and the most frequent resistance were to tetracycline (58.5%), sulphonamides (58.1%), streptomycin (47.3%), ampicillin (39.8%), chloramphenicol (37.3%), trimethoprim (34.0%) and nalidixic acid (27.8%). No Salmonella isolates were resistant to ceftazidime. Chicken isolates had higher resistance to antibiotic agents than pork isolates (P<0.05). It showed that 159 Salmonella isolates belong to the 14 serovars were multidrug resistant (MDR) and 50 MDR patterns were found. This study indicated that Salmonella serovars isolated from retail meat samples were resistant to multiple antibiotics and this resistance was widespread among different serovars. The widespread resistance may have arisen from misuse or overuse of antibiotics during animal husbandry in North Vietnam.  相似文献

A national Salmonella control program in the pork industry was enacted in Ireland in August 2002. This study was undertaken as part of a larger project investigating the role of pork as a source of human salmonellosis in Ireland. The objective of this survey was to assess the prevalence of Salmonella in Irish pork sausage at retail level. Samples, comprising branded prepacked sausages and loose sausages from supermarket meat counters and butcher shops, were collected from selected retail sites in four cities from October to December 2001 and from June to August 2002. A three-tube most-probable-number method was used to enumerate Salmonella in a selected number of samples that were positive by enrichment. Salmonella serotypes were detected in 4.4 and 1.7% of samples at each of the respective sampling periods, a level similar to those reported in other U.S. and U.K. studies. Isolates were characterized by serotype, phage type, and antimicrobial susceptibility. Eighteen (70%) were resistant to at least one antimicrobial, and 15 (58%) were resistant to four or more antimicrobials. Most of the isolates exhibited resistance to tetracycline. Five different phage types were detected. DT104 was the predominant phage type among Salmonella Typhimurium isolates. This study revealed that multidrug-resistant salmonellae are present in a proportion of Irish sausages and that further risk analysis work is necessary in order to quantify the risk posed to public health.  相似文献

The prevalence of Salmonella was determined in chicken meat (n = 26), beef (n = 49), and pork (n = 56) collected from wholesale markets, retail stores, and traditional markets in Seoul, South Korea, in 2009. Antibiotic resistance was assessed, and the molecular subtypes of Salmonella isolates were ascertained using an automated repetitive sequence-based PCR (rep-PCR) system (DiversiLab). A total of 18 Salmonella strains were isolated from 17 of 131 samples: 16 strains from each of 16 samples and 2 strains from the same pork sample. The prevalence of Salmonella from the retail meats was 2.0% in beef, 8.9% in pork, and 42.3% in chicken meat. Among 10 different serotypes, Salmonella enterica Panama was recovered from a beef sample, and Salmonella London and Salmonella Montevideo were the predominant serotypes from pork and chicken meat, respectively. The highest antibiotic resistance observed was to erythromycin (100%) followed by streptomycin (22.2%) and tetracycline and chloramphenicol (16.7%). Of the 18 isolates, 5 (27.8%) were resistant to two or more antibiotics, and 1 isolate from chicken meat was resistant to eight antibiotics, including cephalosporins. Differentiation between all of the Salmonella isolates except between Salmonella Montevideo and Salmonella London was successfully performed with the automated rep-PCR system, indicating that it can be added to the toolbox for source tracking of foodborne pathogens associated with outbreaks.  相似文献

Surveillance data of cattle and human isolates of Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium DT104 indicate that this pathogen emerged worldwide in the 1980s, particularly in cattle. Studies were conducted to determine the prevalence of Salmonella Typhimurium DT104 in ground beef. Samples were also tested for the presence of generic Escherichia coli. A total of 404 fresh ground beef samples obtained at retail stores from New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Denver, Atlanta, Houston, and Chicago were shipped overnight to Georgia for processing. Salmonella spp. were isolated from 14 (3.5%) samples. Eight different serotypes were identified among the isolates, including Salmonella Typhimurium (5), Salmonella Lille (3), Salmonella Montevideo (1), Salmonella Hadar (1), Salmonella Meleagridis (1), Salmonella Cerro (1), Salmonella Kentucky (1), and Salmonella Muenster (1). Antibiotic resistance profiles indicated that all five Salmonella Typhimurium isolates were resistant to ampicillin, streptomycin, sulfamethoxazole, ticarcillin, and tetracycline but that they were sensitive to chloramphenicol. Phage typing revealed that all five Salmonella Typhimurium isolates were DT104A, a subtype of DT104. All five Salmonella Typhimurium DT104A isolates were obtained from ground beef sampled from retail outlets in San Francisco. Pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) genomic DNA profiles of the five Salmonella Typhimurium DT104A isolates from ground beef were indistinguishable from those of four control Salmonella Typhimurium DT104 penta-resistant isolates from cattle that were used for comparison. A total of 102 generic E. coli isolates were obtained, only three of which were multiresistant to antibiotics. In addition, three E. coli isolates were recovered from samples that were positive for Salmonella Typhimurium DT104A. No correlation of antibiotic resistance profiles was observed between Salmonella Typhimurium DT104A and generic E. coli, as two of the three E. coli isolates were susceptible to all of the antibiotics tested, and the third isolate was resistant only to cephalothin. These data indicate that Salmonella Typhimurium DT104A can be isolated from retail ground beef, and because there was little overlap in antibiotic resistance patterns between Salmonella Typhimurium DT104A and E. coli isolates from the same ground beef samples, these limited data suggest that the transfer of antibiotic resistance genes among enteric bacteria in ground beef may not be common. This latter observation is further supported by the limited isolation of multiantibiotic-resistant E. coli from retail ground beef.  相似文献

This study evaluated the molecular diversity of 29 Salmonella serotypes isolated from turkey ceca and the production environment. Isolates were resistant to bacitracin (100%), erythromycin (100%), novobiocin (100%), rifampin (100%), streptomycin (62%), gentamicin (52%), spectinomycin (48%), tetracycline (31%), sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim (SXT) (3%) and tobramycin (3%). The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values ranged from 32 to >/=1024 microg/ml. The pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) and ribotyping patterns were identical within each of the serotypes Heidelberg, Worthington and Muenster. The plasmid profiles were identical within each of the Salmonella serotypes. Two different clones of Salmonella anatum were differentiated by PFGE typing but not by ribotyping. Heidelberg isolates from nine turkey ceca and three drinker samples had identical antibiotic resistance, PFGE, ribotype and plasmid patterns, suggesting that transmission of this particular clone may have occurred between the birds and the drinkers. Identical PFGE, ribotype and plasmid patterns were observed in one Salmonella worthington isolate from turkey ceca in one flock and two S. worthington isolates from feeder contents and drinkers from a subsequent flock, suggesting transmission of this pathogen between flocks. Individual and multiple polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analyses revealed the presence of the virulence genes invA, aceK and sopB and the absence of the h-1i gene in all isolates. A combination of genotypic and phenotypic markers can be useful in studying genetic variation among natural salmonellae populations in turkey production and delineating possible transmission pathways.  相似文献

目的:研究432株分离于陕西省杨凌及周边城市零售鸡肉中沙门氏菌的血清型分布、药敏性及其与(氟)喹诺酮类抗菌药物抗性相关耐药基因的流行状况。方法:按照玻片凝集法鉴定血清型,使用临床和实验室标准协会推荐的琼脂稀释法测定沙门氏菌的药敏性,聚合酶链式反应(polymerase chain reaction,PCR)方法确定沙门氏菌中与(氟)喹诺酮类抗生素耐药相关基因。结果:432株沙门氏菌中除36株血清型未定外,其余396株沙门氏菌共涵盖37个血清型,其中鼠伤寒沙门氏菌(Salmonella typhimurium,检出率17.93%)、汤普森沙门氏菌(Salmonella thompsons,检出率12.88%)、埃森沙门氏菌(Salmonella essen,检出率8.84%)和婴儿沙门氏菌(Salmonellainfants,检出率6.57%)等血清型比较常见。沙门氏菌对磺胺异噁唑(耐药率89.81%)耐药最为普遍,对磺胺甲噁唑、萘啶酮酸、四环素、氨苄西林、氯霉素和阿莫西林-克拉维酸等抗生素的耐药率均在50%以上。aac(6’)-Ib-cr基因检出率(16.67%)最高,qnr B、qnr S和qnr A的检出率分别为10.19%、6.71%和1.62%,且该4种基因在不同血清型菌株中分布不同。菌株携带qnr和aac(6’)-Ib-cr基因越多,对(氟)喹诺酮类和氨基糖苷类协同耐药性越强。结论:陕西省杨凌及周边城市零售鸡肉源沙门氏菌的血清型种类繁多,耐药比较普遍。  相似文献

This study determined the prevalence of Salmonella in foods widely consumed in Korea from 1993 to 2001, along with antimicrobial susceptibility profiles of Salmonella isolates from these foods for 11 antibiotics. Overall, 41 Salmonella isolates, representing 15 serotypes, were obtained from 2.2% (29 of 1,334) of the samples examined, and most of the Salmonella isolates were recovered from broiler carcasses. The most common serotypes were Salmonella Enteritidis (29.3%), Salmonella Virginia (14.6%), and Salmonella Haart (12.2%). All isolates were screened for antibiotic resistance; 14.6% of the isolates were susceptible to all of the antibiotics, 4.9% were resistant to one antimicrobial agent, 14.6% were resistant to two antimicrobial agents, 22.0% were resistant to three antimicrobial agents, 39.0% were resistant to four antimicrobial agents, and 4.9% were resistant to five antimicrobial agents. Most of the isolates showed resistance or intermediate resistance to streptomycin, ampicillin, carbenicillin, and/or tetracycline.  相似文献

The incidence of Salmonella in 60 samples of poultry products of national origin available for consumers obtained from two local butcher shops and one canteen of the city of Porto and the susceptibility to antimicrobial agents allowed for human or animal therapy were evaluated. The results show that poultry samples are frequently contaminated with Salmonella (60%), belonging to 10 different serotypes. Salmonella enteritidis and S. hadar were the most prevalent serotypes. In addition, a high number (75%) of the Salmonella isolates was resistant to one or more antimicrobial agents and eight different resistance profiles were recorded. Resistance to nalidixic acid and enrofloxacin was demonstrated for 50% of the isolates and the occurrence of resistant and multiresistant S. enteritidis isolates were less frequent than for S. hadar. This study suggests a high incidence of Salmonella on Portuguese poultry products and shows that they could be a potential vehicle of resistant Salmonella foodborne infections.  相似文献

目的了解温州市食品中沙门菌的污染状况,分析分离的沙门菌血清型分布、耐药性及脉冲场凝胶电泳(PFGE)分子分型特征。方法依据GB 4789.4—2016《食品安全国家标准食品微生物学检验沙门氏菌检验》进行菌株分离鉴定及血清学分型,采用微量肉汤稀释法进行药敏试验,PFGE法进行分子分型。结果 6类食品2 039份样品中,37份样品检出沙门菌,检出率为1.8%,其中生禽肉和生畜肉检出率较高,分别为6.9%(20/290)和3.4%(10/290)。37株沙门菌分属16种血清型,居前三位分别为鼠伤寒沙门菌、德尔卑沙门菌和肠炎沙门菌。81.1%(30/37)的菌株对17种抗生素产生不同程度的耐药,呈现24种耐药谱,多重耐药率为56.8%(21/37)。PFGE图谱分为31种PFGE带型,呈多态性。结论沙门菌在温州市食品中存在一定的污染率,耐药情况形式严峻,PFGE图谱的聚集性与沙门菌的血清型有一定的联系,与耐药谱之间的关联性并不明确。  相似文献

Salmonella prevalence on cow-calf operations was studied as a part of a national study of health and management of the U.S. beef cow-calf industry and was conducted as part of the National Animal Health Monitoring System. Within this study, the prevalence of Salmonella spp. shed in feces was determined. A total of 5,049 fecal samples were collected from 187 beef cow-calf operations each visited on a single occasion. The number of fecal samples collected per operation was predetermined based on herd size. Salmonellae were recovered from 1 or more fecal samples collected on 11.2% (21 of 187) of the operations. Overall 78 salmonellae representing 22 serotypes were recovered from 1.4% (70 of 5,049) of samples. Multiple serotypes were recovered from eight samples from a single operation. The five most common serotypes were Salmonella Oranienburg (21.8% of isolates), and Salmonella Cerro (21.8%), followed by Salmonella Anatum (10.3%), Salmonella Bredeney (9.0%), and Salmonella Mbandaka (5.1%). The most common serogroups identified were C1 (33.3%), K (21.8%), B (16.7%), and E (15.4%). Even though the recovery rate of salmonellae from fecal samples was very low, 43.6% (34 of 78) and 38.5% (30 of 78) of the isolates were among the 10 most common serotypes from cattle with clinical signs of disease or isolated from humans, respectively. The majority of the isolates (50 of 78; 64.1%) were recovered from fecal samples from two operations. All isolates were screened for resistance to a panel of 17 antimicrobics, and 87.2% (68 of 78) were susceptible to all of the antimicrobics. The resistant isolates were most commonly resistant to streptomycin (n = 9) and/or sulfamethoxazole (n = 9). Nine isolates showed multiple (> or =2 antimicrobics) resistance most commonly to streptomycin and sulfamethoxazole (n = 6).  相似文献

A total of 81 isolates of Salmonella Enteritidis were analyzed by antibiotic susceptibility, phage typing, and pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE). Thirty-two isolates came from broiler carcasses and pig feces, and 49 isolates were from humans in Seoul and suburbs of Seoul, Korea. Antibiotic resistance was most prevalent among human isolates. Of human isolates, 89.8% were resistant to more than two antibiotics, while 64.7% of poultry isolates and 13.3% of pig isolates showed multiple resistance to more than two antibiotics. The most common phage type (PT) was PT1, followed by PT30 or 33, PT21 and PT20a. The isolates showed six PFGE patterns with XbaI or SpeI digestion, and five PFGE patterns with NotI digestion. But a single pattern, PFGE X1, S1, or N1, was predominant and the rest of the PFGE patterns differed by only one or two bands. Results indicated the spread of a genetically related clone of Salmonella Enteritidis in foods and humans in Korea and that phage typing as well as PFGE may offer an improved level of discrimination for the epidemiological investigation of Salmonella Enteritidis.  相似文献
