The effects of microalloying of Ti and B on the glass formation of Cu60Pr30Ni10Al10-2xTixBx(x = 0, 0.05% (atom fraction)) amorphous alloys was investigated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). XRD analysis showed that mieroalloying with 0.05% Ti and 0.05% B improved the glass forming ability (GFA). The smaller difference in the Gibbs free energy between the liquid and crystalline states at the glass transition temperature (△G1-X(Tg)) and the smaller thermodynamic fragility index (△Sf/Tm, where ASf is the entropy of fusion, and Tm is the melting temperature) after mieroalloying correlated with the higher GFA.  相似文献

A series of dysprosium-based ternary, quadruple, and quintuple bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) based on Dy-Al binary eutectic composition were obtained with the partial substitution of Co, Gd, and Ni elements, for dysprosium. The results showed that the Dy31Gd25Co20Al24 alloy, which had the best glass forming ability (GFA), could be cast into an amorphous rod with a diameter of 5 ram. The GFA of alloys was evaluated on the basis of the supercooled liquid region width, 7 parameter, the formation enthalpy, and the equivalent electronegativity difference of amorphous alloys. It was found that the eutectic composition was closely correlated with the GFA of the Dy-based BMGs.  相似文献

Crystalline behavior and magnetic properties of Nd60Fe30-xAl10Cox( x = 0, 5, 10) bulk amorphous alloys were investigated by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and the vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Neither glass transition nor supercooled liquid region before crystallization was observed for the as-cast Nd60Fe30-xAl10Cox ( x = 0,5,10) bulk amorphous alloys. The glass forming ability can be improved significantly by the addition of Co. The as-cast Nd60Fe30-xAl10Cox (x = 0,5,10) alloys show hard magnetic behavior. With the addition of Co content, intrinsic coercivity (iHc) increases while the saturation magnetization(σs) and remanence (σr) decrease. The Curie temperature for the as-cast Nd60Fe30-xAl10Cox alloys increases from 451 K for x =0 to 468 K for x = 10. Some pre-cipitation of crystalline phases does not affect the hard magnetic properties of Nd60Fe30-xAl10Cox(x = 0,5,10) alloys, while the hard magnetic behavior disappears quickly after the alloys being completely crystallized.  相似文献

Amorphous ribbons of Fe74 Al4Sn2 (PSiB)20 alloy have been synthesized by melt spinning and axial design method. The thermal properties of the amorphous ribbons have been measured by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The DSC results show that the Fe74 Al4Sn2P12Si4B4 amorphous alloy has relatively wider supercooled liquid region with a temperature interval of 40.38 K (△TX=TX-TR). The alloys with a higher phosphorous content in the metalloid element composition triangle of Fe74Al4Sn2(PSiB)20 have high glass forming ability. The amorphous alloys also show good magnetic properties in which Fe74Al4Sn2P6.67Si6.67B6.67 alloy has a large maximum permeability (μm), Fe78AlSn2P3Si3B10 alloy exhibits a high squareratio (Br/Blo) and FeT~A14Sn2P, Sil2B4 shows a low core loss (P0.5 1.3T). High glass forming ability and good magnetic properties make Fe74Al4Sn2(PSiB)20 amorphous alloys valuable in future research.  相似文献

Nd55-x Al10+x Fe15 (x =0, 5, 10) bulk glass-forming alloys with distinct glass transition in differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) traces were obtained by suction casting, The glass forming ability (GFA) of the alloys was investigated. It was found that the reduced glass transition temperature (Trg) and the parameter γ of the alloys increased with the increasing concentration of Al. The glass formation enthalpy of the alloys was calculated based on Miedema's model, and it was suggested that the GFA of the alloys could be enhanced by the decrease of the glass formation enthalpy with Al additions.  相似文献

The investigation on Curie temperature and magnetocaloric effect of the FeCrMoCBYNi bulk metallic glass(BMG) with different crystallized phases was carried out by XRD,TEM and PPMS. The experimental results show that the Curie temperature(T_c) of Fe_(45)Cr_(15)Mo_(14)C_(15)B_6 Y_2 Ni_3 BMG with different annealing condition reaches a highest value of 95 K. The value of magnetic entropy change △S_M(T) of Sample 3 reaches a maxima of 0.48 J/(kg·K) at Tc temperature, which result from the interaction among the precipitated phases of(Fe,Cr)_(23)(C,B)_6, Fe_3 Mo_3 C and residual amorphous phase. Based on the experiment results, it can be obtained that the Curie temperature, magnetocaloric effect can reach their optimal value at low temperature, when the content of amorphous phase and precipitated phases type run up to certain value. The magnetic properties of Sample 1 with full amorphous phase and Sample 4 with full crystalline phase will both decrease.  相似文献

A low cost Gd_(34)Ni_(33)Al_(33) metallic glass with excellent magnetocaloric properties was successfully prepared in the present work.The magnetic properties of the ribbons were measured by constructing the relationship of magnetic entropy change(-ΔS_m) on temperature as well as magnetic field.The amorphous alloy shows typical magnetocaloric behaviors,large maximum-ΔS_m(11.06 J/(kg·K) under 5 T)and adiabatic temperature rise(4.3 K under 5 T) near 40 K,indicating that the low cost Gd_(34)Ni_(33)Al_(33)metallic glass is a good candidate material for low temperature magnetic refrigeration.  相似文献

Gd-based bulk metallic glass has drawn strong attention because of its large magnetic entropy changes. Thermal stability of metallic glass is a very important issue for its application. In the paper, crystallization behavior of Gd53Al24Co20Zr3 bulk metallic glass was investigated using non-isothermal differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) technique. Attention was given to the analytic details. The crystallized volume fractions as a function of temperature were derived from the DSC signals, where heat capacity change between amorphous phase and crystalline phase was considered. The local activation energies at different crystallized volume fraction were estimated using Doyle-Ozawa and Agrawal methods. The results suggested that the Doyle-Ozawa equation was appropriate to get local activation energy due to its simplicity and accuracy. The local activation energy depended on the crystallized volume fraction. Function reflecting crystallization mechanism was also deduced. The crystallization mechanism of the Gd-based bulk metallic glass was discussed.  相似文献

A method based on the semi-empirical Miedema model and a geometrical model was used to study the glass forming abilities(GFA) and the amorphous forming ranges of Al-Fe-Nd-Zr system and its constituent ternary systems.The amorphous forming composition ranges were analyzed based on different criteria such as ΔGam-ss and PHSS(PHSS=ΔHchem(ΔSC/R)(ΔSσ/R)) for Al-Fe-Nd system.The predicted amorphous forming range was in good agreement with the experimental results.The results showed that the criterion of ΔGam-ss was more accurate,and agreed well with the experiment results.The Gibbs free energy difference ΔGam-ss and parameter PHSS were then used to predict the amorphous forming composition range for the rest of the constitutive ternary systems of Al-Fe-Nd-Zr.In addition,the amorphous forming composition ranges of the(Al-Fe-Zr)100–x Ndx(x=50,60,70) systems were predicted by ΔGam-ss and the modified parameter PHSS.The Gibbs free energy of Al10(Fe1–x Zrx)30Nd60 were also calculated.The GFA parameter PHSS indicated that the composition with the highest GFA was Al33.5Fe13.5Zr3Nd50 for the(Al-Fe-Zr)50Nd50 system,Al28.8Fe10Zr1.2Nd60for the(Al-Fe-Zr)40Nd60 system and Al22.8Fe6.9Zr0.3Nd70 for the(Al-Fe-Zr)30Nd70 system,and the results suggested that those alloys with high content of Al had higher GFA.The appropriate content of neodymium and zirconium resulted in the lower value of PHSS and increased the GFA obviously.  相似文献

Fe-Co-B-Si-Nb-C glassy alloy with the addition of C was prepared by arc melting and copper suck-casting. The thermodynamics and soft magnetic properties were investigated. The casted amorphous alloys were heat-treated at different temperatures. The differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) results and thermal expansion show complete thermodynamics of crystallization. Its magnetostriction properties were studied by capacitance method. Saturation magnetostriction increases to 38×10-6. The amorphous alloy exhibits good soft magnetic properties with low coercivity and high saturation magnetic induction. The results show that minor addition of C is beneficial to enhance the saturation magnetostriction λs, and do not deteriorate the ability of forming amorphous.  相似文献

本文选用非晶形成能力高,且在玻璃转变区和过冷液相区有高热稳定性的Cu46Zr47-x Al7块体非晶合金为研究对象,利用差示扫描量热分析(DSC)、高温真空压缩实验等方法,对其高温均匀塑性流变行为进行研究。结果表明,Cu46Zr47Al7块体非晶合金的高温均匀塑性形变行为依赖于温度和应变速率,随着温度的降低或应变速率的增大呈现出牛顿流变向非牛顿流变的转变,该行为可以用基于自由体积的过渡态理论来进行定量描述。根据过渡态理论拟合出来的驱动体积大致相当于25~50个原子,驱动能为551kJ/mol,说明控制合金高温均匀形变的原子不会脱离周围原子而单独跃迁,其扩散涉及到多原子的协同运动。  相似文献

The study of recent years found that big bulk amorphous alloys were formed for some multi-element compositions at rapid cooling speed such as Zr-, La-, Fe-, Mg-based alloys with wide undercooled liquid phase field and high trend of forming glass.( ATx = crystallization temperature Tx - glass transformation temperature Tg) Bulk amorphous copper mold upper suction casting with minus pressure while some new technical processes and adding new elements such as Co, Nb, Ca, etc.were used to improve magnetic properties and other performances of the materials.The results show that Fe-based bulk amorphous alloys have low coercive force and high permeability, which are successfully applied to magnetoelectric sensors with temperature ranges between -45 ℃ and 150 ℃ by special design of magnetic circuits.  相似文献

利用旋铸技术制备了一种新型的含稀土元素的铁基非晶合金。研究了Nd含量对Fe70Co8Zr7-xNdxB15(x=0~6%原子数分数)合金的非晶形成能力、热稳定性和磁性能的影响。当该合金系的Nd含量在0~6%(原子数分数)变化时,其饱和磁感应强度(Js)在1.10T~1.37T范围内变化,矫顽力(Hc)在2.28A/m~8.15A/m范围内变化。Js随Nd含量的增加而增加,当Nd含量为2%和3%时,其Hc值均在3A/m以下,且在Nd含量为2%时,具有最高的非晶形成能力(glassformationability简称GFA)即大的ΔTx(达61K);同时又有良好的软磁性能,其Js和Hc值分别为1.25T和2.28A/m。经对比得出,Fe70Co8Zr5RE2B15(RE=Ce、Pr、Gd和Tb)合金与Fe70Co8Zr5Nd2B15具有相近的非晶形成能力和磁性能。  相似文献

利用电化学极化曲线方法研究了Zr41Ti14Cu12.5Ni5Be22.5Fe5非晶合金及成分相同的晶化合金及纯Zr在硫酸溶液中的腐蚀行为。利用减重法研究了Zr41Ti14Cu12.5Ni5Be22.5Fe5非晶合金及成份相同的晶化合金在浓硫酸溶液中的腐蚀行为。极化曲线测试结果表明,非晶合金及成分相同的晶化合金与纯金属Zr有很大差异:非晶合金过钝化电位最高,钝化区最长,而纯金属Zr过钝化电位最低;钝化区也最短。减重试验表明,非晶合金的腐蚀速率是成分相同晶化合金的1/4。以上结果表明非晶合金拥有优良的耐腐蚀性能。  相似文献

阐述了Ti基大块金属玻璃(BMG)的成分设计原则及制备方法,并对Ti基非晶合金及其部分晶化复合材料的力学性能及断裂机理进行了评述。结果表明:Ti基大块金属玻璃具有较高的断裂强度、弹性延伸率及一定的塑性延伸率,而经过部分晶化获得的非晶合金基纳米颗粒复合材料,其室温塑性获得很大的改善。在此基础上探讨了该合金目前所存在的问题、研究热点以及其应用前景。  相似文献

应用变温条件下的JMA方程和Kissinger方程研究长体Pd77.5Cu6Si16.5非晶合金的晶化动力学行为。计算了其玻璃转变温度Tg,晶化起始温度Tx,晶化峰值温度Tpl的激活能E,频率因子和Avrami指数等晶化动力学参数。并将这些参数与非晶条带的相应参数做对比,发现一些描述晶化过程的参量发生了变化。实验结果表明,块体非晶合金的原子活动性小于传统非晶条带,而具有更宽的过冷液相区。  相似文献
