高职计算机基础教学探索

信息技术高速发展的今天,我国高职计算机基础教学取得了较大的成绩。然而在看到成绩的同时,我们还必须注意到,计算机基础教学还存在着许多不尽如人意的问题,这些问题需要我们去关注思考并且加以解决,才能使高职院校计算机基础教学的质量与效益得到较大的提高。     

Computer-based semantic analyzers

Computer-based semantic analyzers come from five basic areas: machine translation, question and answer systems, content analysis, bibliographic retrieval, and medical information retrieval systems. This paper brings together and reviews these five basic areas and looks at representative semantic analyzers from them. The diversity of these semantic analyzers makes precise comparison impossible, but it was useful to draw some general comparisons in the areas of subject matter and breadth of context.This investigation was supported in part by a National Institutes of Health Special Fellowship No. 5-F-03-GM-42, 816-02 from the Research Fellowships Branch of the National Institute of General Medical Sciences. Conclusion Although most of the technical and methodological problems have been solved and encouraging results have been registered in the form of student evaluation of our project, the project is still in the development stage. Perhaps it should be added that even in its advanced stages, it will never be able to replace a human instructor; the only thing it can do is successfully exploit the complementary abilities of man and machine.

Pick is emerging from its years of seclusion as an operating system well-suited to end users; a fact reflected by the 20,000-strong, and growing, user base and the number of recent micro implementations.

This paper describes the regional blood distribution system used in Long Island, New York. A brief review of the theoretical model is given first. Then the operational system is discussed and the automation support is described. Finally, results are presented and evaluated.     

Computer-based instruction in qualitative research practices

Abstract As a subject domain, qualitative research practice presents significant problems for instruction. It tends to be poorly codified and sometimes controversial. It is substantially skill-based and calls on a heterogeneous set of skills. And it is a means-domain rather than an end-domain for research students who invariably have widely varying disciplinary and experiential backgrounds when first coming to it. The experience of teaching the subject also suggests some important obstacles to learning good practices. For example, many of the underlying skills (like testing the self-interest of information sources) are skills developed in everyday life: yet new researchers often fail to transfer them to research work. This article describes an instructional system for qualitative research which is based on linking domain problems such as these to particular pedagogic mechanisms, and then linking these mechanisms in turn to various implementation decisions.

计算机等级考试是全国性的、非计算机专业人员的大型考试,是为人才流动提供其计算机应用知识与能力的证明,也是当前高职高专评估指标之一,因此,通过拿到计算机等级证书来促进学习,是我校对电脑应用水平测试加强电脑基础水平教学进行了探讨和研究后,对改进电脑基础操作教学提出的心的思路。     

Computer-based learning in a University Zoology course

The Biology Department of the University of Nijmegen (Netherlands) has been facing many of the problems encountered by other university faculties in these economically depressed times: cutbacks in government funding, demands for curriculum revisions, increased teacher workloads, shortage of assistantships. Because of the desire to maintain high standards of research and the well known preference of most scientists to perform research rather than teaching, the quality of instruction for students may suffer. University Zoology Departments must also respond to an increasing number of students who express “moral” objections against experiments with animals and others questioning the usefulness of such experimentation in the early phase of their study. Nevertheless the university must still provide fully equipped (and costly) laboratories for student usage.Given this range of problems and constraints it is not surprising that eventually some introduction of mediated, self-study, or automated forms of instruction come under consideration. This article will describe a project which attempts to remedy a number of the above mentioned problems in teaching a second year Zoology course (Animal Physiology), and more specifically the problems surrounding an animal experiment contained therein, through the use of videotape and computer-assisted instruction.

肺音(Lung Sound) 信号是人体呼吸系统与外界在换气过程中产生的一种生理声信号,其因含有大量的生理和病理信息而具有很高的研究价值。近年来,频发的雾霾天气等环境问题所带来的呼吸道疾病发病率的提高,也使得对肺部疾病诊断的快速性与准确性的需求大幅提升。肺部听诊以其迅捷便利和无创等优良特性重新引发人们的广泛关注,而自动肺音诊断技术的发展无疑会对肺部疾病诊断带来重要的帮助。电子听诊器以及其他信号采集技术等硬件方面的发展进一步促进了现代肺音信号的分析和识别技术的研究与进步。主要介绍了肺音的概念、基于计算机的肺音信号处理和模式识别技术,并对近年来基于机器学习的肺音分类技术的发展状况进行了总结与列举;最后,对肺音分类技术的研究和应用发展趋势进行了展望。

Computer-based data entry for nurses in the ICU

Efforts are being made to improve the efficiency and quality of care in intensive care units (ICUs) at Latter Day Saints Hospital. The ICUs have been computerized, and the collection, storage, and presentation of patients' data have been improved. Nurses use computers for entering clinical data and plans for nursing care, and the effects of these changes on the work patterns of nurses in the ICU have been evaluated. Contrary to our expectation, our studies showed a decrease in the proportion of time that nurses spent in direct patient care (from 49.1% to 43.2%) and an increase in the proportion they spent entering clinical data (from 18.2% to 24.2%) after computerization. These changes, however, were attributed to a decrease in the severity of patients' illnesses, rather than the availability of the computer. There was no measurable difference in the proportion of time spent at other nursing activities.

The end of celluloid: digital cinema emerges

Digital cinema enhances film image quality significantly, but high costs could delay its adoption. Hollywood has begun a major technological transformation, retooling its production and distribution business to exploit computing, broadband networks, and digital displays. Inevitably, digital cinema will reshape the entertainment business and may further blur the lines between the theatrical and home entertainment markets. Indeed, many of the components necessary for digital cinema's emergence have already been tested and proven in film production and post production. However, Installing a digital cinema projection system in a theater (cinema) runs about $150000 (USD). That's a lot of money for an industry accustomed to spending no more than $25000 for a film projector that will last 50 years
