The H control of a class of the uncertain switched nonlinear cascaded systems with time delay is explored in this paper via the multiple Lyapunov functions. The considered systems are assumed to comprise an inherently nonlinear and a linearizable nonlinear dynamic system that may be non‐minimum phase. A group of partial differential inequalities containing adjustable functions are used in the control design task. The state feedback controllers and a suitable switching law are designed simultaneously so as to achieve the desired disturbance attenuation while preserving asymptotic stability for all admissible uncertainties. The partial differential inequalities are of lower dimension than general Hamilton–Jacobi inequalities, and therefore the solving process is feasible. This particular technique is applicable even if no subsystem is asymptotically stable. The non‐minimum phase property is compensated for by means of an appropriate switching mechanism. A robust H control for non‐switched cascade system with time delay is obtained in addition. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed design method.  相似文献

This paper addresses global robust H control for a class of switched nonlinear systems with uncertainty under arbitrary switchings. Each subsystem is in lower triangular form. The uncertainties are assumed to be in a known compact set. The backstepping design technique is used to design a smooth state feedback controller that renders the associated closed‐loop switched system globally robustly asymptotically stable and imposes a pre‐specified upper bound to the L 2‐gain under arbitrary switchings. An example is provided to demonstrate the efficacy of the design approach.  相似文献

This paper investigates the H control problem for a class of continuous‐time switched systems subject to state constraints with an improved average dwell time. The state constraints are converted into state saturations by limiting the state in a unit hypercube. By employing this proposed improved average dwell time method, which takes into account different decay rates of a Lyapunov function related to an active subsystem according to whether the saturations occur or not, the resulting minimum of admissible average dwell time is smaller than the one of the standard average dwell time, which only considers the same decay rate regardless of whether the saturations occur or not. In addition, switched state feedback controllers are designed such that the closed‐loop switched system, subject to state constraints, is asymptotically stable and achieves a weighted L2‐gain. Sufficient conditions for H control of the switched system with state constraints are derived before an application to a Pulse‐Width‐Modulation (PWM)‐driven boost converter is given to illustrate the applicability and the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the H control problem for uncertain switched nonlinear systems with passive and non‐passive subsystems. For any given average dwell time, any given passivity rate and any given disturbance attenuation level, we design feedback controllers of subsystems, which may depend on the pre‐given constants, to solve the H control problem for the uncertain switched nonlinear systems for all admissible uncertainties. For linear systems, the exponential small‐time norm‐observability is shown to be preserved under disturbance. Two examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method. This paper deals with the problem of H estimation for linear systems with a certain type of time-varying norm-bounded parameter uncertainty in both the state and output matrices. We address the problem of designing an asymptotically stable estimator that guarantees a prescribed level of H noise attenuation for all admissible parameter uncertainties. Both an interpolation theory approach and a Riccati equation approach are proposed to solve the estimation problem, with each method having its own advantages. The first approach seems more numerically attractive whilst the second one provides a simple structure for the estimator with its solution given in terms of two algebraic Riccati equations and a parameterization of a class of suitable H estimators. The Riccati equation approach also pinpoints the ‘worst-case’ uncertainty.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problems of L2 stability and H control of switched homogeneous nonlinear systems. This paper gives that if a switched homogeneous nonlinear system with disturbance is internally homogeneously asymptotically stable, then it has a finite L2 gain, and if a switched homogeneous nonlinear system with disturbance and controls is homogeneously stabilizable under the zero disturbance condition, its H control problem is solvable under some mild conditions, and a homogeneous solution is given. Then, via the semi‐tensor product of matrices method, the aforementioned obtained results are transformed to linear‐like forms, and the aforementioned obtained Hamilton–Jacobi–Isaacs inequality is transformed to a linear‐like matrix inequality, which makes it feasible to compute the solutions by computer. This paper presents a solution to the singular H control problem via state feedback for a class of nonlinear systems. It is shown that the problem of almost disturbance decoupling with stability plays a fundamental role in the solution of the considered problem. We also point out when the singular problem can be reduced to a regular one or solved via standard H technique. We must stress that the solution of the singular problem is obtained without making any approximation of it by means of regular problems. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper investigates the stabilization and H control problem of nonlinear switched Hamiltonian systems (NSHSs) subject to actuator saturation (AS) under arbitrary switching paths. First, based on the saturating actuator property, an appropriate state feedback is designed under a realistic assumption for the stabilization of NSHSs with AS. Then, an H controller is designed for NSHSs subject to AS with external disturbances in order to attenuate the disturbances. Futhermore, the results obtained for NSHSs are applied to study the stabilization and H control of switched nonlinear systems with AS via the Hamiltonian realization method. Finally, simulation examples show the efficiency of the methods and results proposed in this paper.  相似文献

This paper investigates a global stabilization problem and a nonlinear H control problem for a class of nonminimum phase nonlinear multivariable systems. To avoid the complicated recursive design procedure, an asymptotic time‐scale and eigenstructure assignment method is adopted to construct the control laws for the stabilization problem and the nonlinear H control problem. A sufficient solvability condition is established onthe unstable zero dynamics of the system for global stabilization problem and nonlinear H control problem, respectively. Moreover, based on the sufficient solvability condition, an upper bound of the achievable L2‐gain is estimated for the nonlinear H control problem. Copyright © 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In previously obtained balancing methods for nonlinear systems a past and a future energy function are used to bring the nonlinear system in balanced form. By considering a different pair of past and future energy functions that are related to the H control problem for nonlinear systems we define H balancing. Furthermore, we investigate the monotonicity of the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equations that appear in this balancing method. The method is used as a tool for model reduction.  相似文献

This paper formulates and solves the robust H control problem for discrete‐time nonlinear switching systems. The H control problem is interpreted as the l2 finite gain control problem and is studied using a dissipative systems theory for switched systems. Both state and measurement feedback control problems are formulated as dynamic games and solved using dynamic programming. The partially observed dynamic game corresponding to the measurement feedback control problem is solved by transforming into a completely observed, full state infinite‐dimensional game problem using information states. Our results are illustrated with an example. Copyright © 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper investigates the reliable H filtering problem for a class of mixed time‐delay systems with stochastic nonlinearities and multiplicative noises. The mixed delays comprise both discrete time‐varying and distributed delays. The stochastic nonlinearities in the form of statistical means cover several well‐studied nonlinear functions. The multiplicative disturbances are in the form of a scalar Gaussian white noise with unit variance. Furthermore, the failures of sensors are quantified by a variable varying in a given interval. In the presence of mixed delays, stochastic nonlinearities, and multiplicative noises, sufficient conditions for the existence of a reliable H filter are derived, such that the filtering error dynamics is asymptotically mean‐square stable and also achieves a guaranteed H performance level. Then, a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach for designing such a reliable H filter is presented. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of robust mixed H2/H delayed state feedback control for a class of uncertain neutral systems with time‐varying discrete and distributed delays. Based on the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional theory, new required sufficient conditions are established in terms of delay‐range‐dependent linear matrix inequalities for the stability and stabilization of the considered system using some free matrices. The desired robust mixed H2/H delayed state feedback control is derived based on a convex optimization method such that the resulting closed‐loop system is asymptotically stable and satisfies H2 performance with a guaranteed cost and a prescribed level of H performance, simultaneously. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of our approach. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley and Sons Asia Pte Ltd and Chinese Automatic Control Society  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of finite-time-horizon robust H control via measurement feedback, for affine nonlinear systems with nonlinear time-varying parameter uncertainty. The problem addressed is the design of a control law, which processes the measured output and guarantees a prescribed level of closed-loop disturbance attenuation. Conditions for the existence of such a controller are obtained by solving an auxiliary control problem for a related system which is obtained from the original one by converting the parameter uncertainty into exogenous bounded energy signals. This approach allows us to apply the recently developed H nonlinear control techniques to solve the robust control problem. The problem is investigated in both the continuous- and discrete-time cases. The results are demonstrated by a simple example. © 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A framework is developed for the general nonlinear H output feedback control problem, in which two major restrictions are relaxed, i.e., the non-singular penalty in H cost and the positive definite solution of Hamilton–Jacobi inequality at present state space nonlinear H control literatures. As illustrated in an example, positive semidefinite solution simplifies the structure of the H controller. Based on this framework, some sufficient conditions are derived. While specialized to linear systems, the controller reduces to the so-called central controller. © 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of delay‐dependent robust stochastic stabilization and H control for uncertain stochastic nonlinear systems with time‐varying delay. System uncertainties are assumed to be norm bounded. Firstly, by using novel method to deal with the integral terms, robustly stochastic stabilization results are obtained for stochastic uncertain systems with nonlinear perturbation, and an appropriate memoryless state feedback controller can be chosen. Compared with previous results, the new technique can sufficiently utilize more negative items information. Then, robust H control for uncertain stochastic system with time‐varying delay and nonlinear perturbation is considered, and the controller is designed, which will guarantee that closed‐loop system is robustly stochastically stable with disturbance attenuation level. Finally, two numerical examples are listed to illustrate that our results are effective and less conservative than other reports in previous literature. The problem of H control for a class of linear systems with state saturation nonlinearities is considered in this paper. By introducing a row diagonally dominant matrix with negative diagonal elements and a diagonal matrix with positive elements, the H control problem is reduced to a matrix inequality feasibility problem that can be solved by the proposed iterative linear matrix inequality algorithm. The effectiveness of the presented method is demonstrated by a numerical example. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley and Sons Asia Pte Ltd and Chinese Automatic Control Society  相似文献

This paper aims to investigate the problem of H output tracking control for a class of switched linear parameter‐varying (LPV) systems. A sufficient condition ensuring the H output tracking performance for a switched LPV system is firstly presented in the format of linear matrix inequalities. Then, a set of parameter and mode‐dependent switching signals are designed, and a family of switched LPV controllers are developed via multiple parameter‐dependent Lyapunov functions to enhance control design flexibility. Even though the H output tracking control problem for each subsystem might be unsolvable, the problem for switched LPV systems is still solved by the designed controllers and the designed switching law. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control design scheme is illustrated by its application to an H speed adjustment problem of an aero‐engine. This paper addresses the problem of H boundary control for a class of nonlinear stochastic distributed parameter systems expressed by parabolic stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs) of Itô type. A simple but effective H boundary static output feedback (SOF) control scheme with collocated boundary measurement is introduced to ensure the local exponential stability in the mean square sense with an H performance. By using the semigroup theory, the disturbance‐free closed‐loop well‐posedness analysis is first given. Then, based on the SPDE model, a general linear matrix inequality based H boundary SOF control design is provided via Lyapunov technique and infinite‐dimensional infinitesimal operator, such that the disturbance‐free closed‐loop system is locally exponentially stable in the mean square sense and the H performance of disturbance attenuation can also be achieved in the presence of disturbances. Finally, simulation results on a stochastic Fisher‐Kolmogorov‐Petrovsky‐Piscounov equation illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the H control problem for general nonlinear systems under sampled measurements. Sufficient conditions for the existence of H output feedback controllers are derived. The major contribution of this paper is to characterize a family of H output feedback controllers for nonaffine nonlinear systems under sampled measurements.  相似文献
