This paper reports an investigation into the behaviour of high strength SCC (self-consolidating concrete) filled steel tubular stub columns exposed to standard fire. A series of tests were carried out to obtain the temperature distribution, axial deformation, limiting temperature of steel and fire endurance of the SCC filled steel tubular stub columns. In addition, a finite element analysis (FEA) model was proposed and used to simulate the fire behaviour of the columns. In the FEA modeling, a sensitivity study was conducted to determine the concrete fracture energy and the contact property of the steel and concrete interface. The verified FEA model was used to analyse the structural behaviour of the columns under fire exposure, such as strain, stress, the load sharing between the steel tube and concrete and local buckling of the steel tube, to gain an insight into the failure mechanism of the columns.  相似文献

为了深入研究钢管高强混凝土轴压短柱破坏模式与破坏机理,提出适合钢管高强混凝土轴压短柱极限承载力计算方法,针对圆钢管高强混凝土轴压短柱大都发生剪切破坏这一典型现象,引入莫尔-库仑强度理论,从理论上分析其发生剪切破坏的原因和受力机理,并从剪切破坏的角度提出了钢管高强混凝土轴压短柱承载力计算方法。利用基于圆钢管高强混凝土轴压短柱试验研究和有限元分析回归得到的处于复杂应力场中的钢管纵向应力σv-纵向应变ε关系曲线和钢管横向应力σh-纵向应变ε关系曲线的数学表达式,得到了钢管高强混凝土轴压短柱承载力包络线的简化计算方法,简化计算曲线与试验曲线吻合良好,可用于分析钢管高强混凝土轴压短柱的受剪承载力。  相似文献

为提高异形截面钢管混凝土柱的轴压承载力,提出内置钢骨组合异形截面钢管混凝土柱。考虑套箍指标、配骨率等参数的影响,设计制作12个内置钢骨组合L形截面钢管混凝土短柱及3个未配置钢骨的组合L形截面钢管混凝土短柱两类试件;通过轴心受压试验,考察试件的破坏形态,实测试件的荷载-纵向应变曲线和承载力,分析各参数对试件力学性能的影响,并对比两类组合柱轴压性能的差异。在试验研究基础上,参考国内外相关规范,提出内置钢骨组合L形截面钢管混凝土短柱轴心受压承载力计算式。研究表明,内置钢骨组合L形截面钢管混凝土短柱轴压承载力高,增大套箍指标和配骨率可以明显提高试件承载力,所提出的承载力计算式可供工程设计参考。  相似文献

本文提出了一种重载柱设计的新模式,即钢骨-钢管混凝土组合柱。这种组合柱是在钢管混凝土的基础上内部埋设钢骨。通过13根组合柱的轴心受压试验,研究了这种新型组合柱的受力性能。试验研究结果表明,在钢管混凝土中加入钢骨后,可有效地提高柱子的承载力,并能在一定程度上延缓或抑制混凝土中剪切斜裂缝的产生,从而提高柱子的延性,而组合柱的承载力和延性则随长细比的增大而下降。基于试验研究结果,本文给出了适用于这种新型组合柱的承载力计算公式。  相似文献

The behaviour of axially loaded square and circular concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) columns when exposed to elevated temperatures is investigated in this paper. The fire resistance of this kind of composite tubes is calculated. Comparison of the square and circular columns in the fire resistance shows that, for columns with the same steel and concrete cross-section areas, the circular column has slightly better fire resistance than the square column.  相似文献

钢管自密实混凝土在工程结构中得到了广泛的应用.通过理论分析,建立了轴心受压钢管自密实混凝土短柱的承载力计算公式.并借助有限元分析软件ANSYS,考虑了钢管与混凝土两种材料本构关系的非线性,对轴心受压钢管自密实混凝土短柱进行了大量的非线性有限元分析,建立了钢管自密实混凝土短柱在轴心压力作用下的非线性有限元计算模型.通过数值模拟,对提出的轴心受压钢管自密实混凝土短柱的承载力计算公式得出的结果进行了验证,发现计算结果与有限元分析结果吻合良好.  相似文献

A series of new unified design formulas for calculating the temperature field and fire resistance under axial compressive loading of a circular solid or hollow concrete filled double steel tubular (CFDST) short and slender columns exposed to fire are presented in this paper. The results of the experiments are firstly derived from exploring the fundamental behavior of the CFSDT slender columns under the ISO 834 standard fire and temperature distributions. Failure modes and axial deformation versus time curves are also obtained and discussed. It was realized that a solid or slender CFDST column has different temperature fields, stronger limiting temperature and better fire resistance, as compared to columns filled with plain concrete. Also, the load ratio and steel ratio have no evident difference between the results of the solid and hollow CFDST columns. A three-dimensional finite element analysis (FEA) model is developed to calculate the temperature field of CFDST columns. After calibration of the FE model, the influences of important parameters on the temperature field of the composite columns are investigated and a unified formula for calculating average temperatures of the columns’ cross-section is obtained. Combining the average temperature with the “Unified theory” under axial compression, a simplified design method is put forward, which provides a unified formulation for both the plain CFST and CFDST columns relating to the axial bearing capacity at room and elevated temperature. The proposed formulas are calibrated through comparisons with fire tests on the columns, and it was found that the method produces safe results on average.  相似文献

进行16个CFRP约束方钢管混凝土轴压短柱的静力试验。试验结果表明,试件的破坏属于强度破坏,CFRP延缓了钢管的屈曲,受约束混凝土具有良好的塑性填充性能,CFRP的增加和混凝土强度等级的提高可以提高试件的承载力和刚度。钢管与CFRP可以协同工作。试件的荷载-应变曲线可以分为弹性阶段、弹塑性阶段和下降段。给出受约束混凝土的应力-应变表达式,模拟试件的荷载-应变曲线和变形模态,计算结果与试验结果吻合良好。  相似文献

对钢管混凝土T形柱进行合理的改进,提出多室式钢管混凝土T形柱(MT-CFST柱)。进行12个短柱试件的轴压试验并对其破坏过程作了详细描述,给出试件的轴压应力-纵向平均应变曲线,同时也考察试件的破坏形态及截面各尺寸、板件布置方式、钢板厚度、混凝土强度等因素对试件力学性能的影响。试验结果表明:多室式钢管混凝土T形柱能较好地增强T形截面内钢材对混凝土的约束作用,发挥两种材料的组合性能;试件的破坏以局部鼓曲和整体剪切两种形式为主,轴压性能受腹板高度、钢板厚度及混凝土强度的影响较大。同时,参考国内外4种钢管混凝土规范中的计算方法对试件的承载力进行计算,经过对比后发现,按EC4规范计算的结果与试验结果符合最好。  相似文献

A concrete filled elliptical/oval steel tubular (CFEST) member consists of elliptical/oval steel tube and in-filled concrete. The CFEST member is a new type of steel–concrete composite member and is part of a family of concrete filled steel tubular members known as CFT. The present study aims to investigate, experimentally, the characteristics of CFEST stub columns under centric loading. The main test parameters selected are diameter-to-thickness and diameters ratios of elliptical/oval steel tube. From the results, local buckling of the elliptical/oval steel tube associated with shear failure of in-filled concrete could be observed. Axial loading capacity decreased as diameter-to-thickness ratio increased. Whereas, those capacities normalized by the summation of the individual strengths, namely the elliptical/oval steel tube and in-filled concrete strengths, are regulated in case the diameter-to-thickness ratio becomes larger. Finally, a method to predict the axial loading capacity induced by confinement effects of the in-filled concrete is proposed.  相似文献

This paper describes a series of tests on steel tubular columns of circular and square section filled with normal concrete and recycled aggregate concrete. Thirty specimens, including 24 recycled aggregate concrete filled steel tubular (RACFST) columns and 6 normal concrete filled steel tubular (CFST) columns, were tested to investigate the influence of variations in the tube shape, circular or square, concrete type, normal concrete and recycled aggregate concrete, and load eccentricity ratio, from 0 to 0.53 on the performance of such composite columns. The test results show that both types of filled columns failed due to overall buckling. Comparisons are made with predicted ultimate strengths of RACFST columns using the existing codes, such as ACI 318-1999, AIJ-1997, AISC-LRFD-1999, BS5400-1979, DBJ13-51-2003 and EC4-1994. A theoretical model for normal CFST columns is adopted in this paper for RACFST columns. The predicted load versus deformation relationships are in good agreement with test results.  相似文献

There are few design provisions in codes and standards on local buckling of steel columns under fire conditions. To examine the local stability of steel stub columns at elevated temperatures, 12 stub columns were tested under simultaneous application of load and fire conditions. The test variables included Grade (type) of steel, buckling resistance, temperature and load levels. During fire tests, cross sectional temperatures, axial displacement, buckling deflection, and local buckling failure modes of flange and web of stub columns were recorded at various temperatures. Data from the tests is utilized to evaluate buckling resistance of flange and web both at room and elevated temperatures by applying the ultimate strain method and curve inflexion point method. Results from fire tests are utilized to validate a finite element model developed for tracing local buckling of steel columns at elevated temperatures. Results from fire tests and finite element analysis show that failure mode of columns at room and elevated temperatures follow similar pattern but the load bearing capacity of Q460 steel columns degrade much more rapidly under fire conditions than that of Q235 steel columns. Further, Eurocode 3 provisions for local buckling produce non-conservative results in certain situations.  相似文献

通过16个薄壁方钢管再生混合短柱的轴压试验,研究废弃混凝土取代率、新旧混凝土强度差、钢管壁厚等因素对试件轴压性能的影响;基于新、旧混凝土的组合强度,对比分析国内外相关公式预测试件轴压承载力的有效性。研究结果表明:与全现浇薄壁方钢管混凝土短柱相比,薄壁方钢管再生混合短柱的钢管屈服较早,废弃混凝土取代率越大钢管屈服越早;薄壁方钢管再生混合短柱的轴压承载力总体呈现出随废弃混凝土取代率增加逐渐降低的趋势,降低幅度大于薄壁圆钢管再生混合短柱;当新、旧混凝土抗压强度相近时,取代率在20%~33%范围内变化对薄壁方钢管再生混合短柱的轴压承载力影响有限;为使再生混合短柱具有与全现浇短柱相近的安全性,建议对根据现行设计标准计算得到的薄壁方钢管再生混合短柱的轴压承载力乘以调整系数0.9。  相似文献

This paper investigates the behaviour of concrete filled steel tubular (CFST) stub columns subjected to eccentric partial compression. Twenty-eight specimens were tested and presented. The main parameters in test program include: (1) section type: circular, square and rectangular; (2) load eccentricity ratio (including uniaxial and biaxial loading): from 0 to 0.4; and (3) shape of the loading bearing plate (BP): circular, square, strip and rectangular. The test results indicated that, similar to the corresponding fully loaded CFST stub columns under eccentric loading, CFST stub columns under eccentric partial compression have generally reasonable bearing capacity and favorable ductility. A finite element analysis (FEA) model for CFST stub columns under eccentric partial compression is developed and the predicted performances are validated through measured results. The FEA model is then used to investigate the mechanisms of such composite columns further.  相似文献

The behaviour of concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) stub columns subjected to axially local compression was experimentally investigated in this paper. A total of thirty-two specimens were tested. The main parameters varied in the tests are: (1) sectional types: circular and square; (2) local compression area ratio (concrete cross-sectional area to local compression area): 1.44 and 16; and (3) thickness of the endplate: from 2 to 12 mm. A finite element analysis modelling was used for the analysis of CFST stub columns subjected to axially local compression, and a comparison of results calculated using this modelling shows generally good agreement with the test results. The theoretical modelling was then used to investigate the mechanism of the composite columns subjected to axially local compression.  相似文献

A series of experimental studies is conducted to examine the behavior of SN490 steel column subjected to axial load in the fire condition. This experimental work is aimed at examining the effect of the width-to-thickness ratio of flanges, the slenderness ratio of steel columns and residual stresses on the ultimate strength of an SN490 steel column at a specified temperature. From these studies, it is found that the column strength decreases with the increase of width-to-thickness ratio and slenderness ratio. Column behavior is sensitive to width-to-thickness ratios and the slenderness ratio at temperatures below 550 °C. However, the influence of width-to-thickness ratios and the slenderness ratios is not severe when the temperature is higher than 550 °C. When the temperature is above 550 °C, the column strength deteriorates rapidly. It is also found that the failure mode of steel columns changes from inelastic global buckling at room temperature to inelastic local buckling at elevated temperature, due to the release of residual stress in a fire. Based on the results of this study, local buckling criteria and column strength at specified temperatures are suggested.  相似文献

为研究钢骨-钢管混凝土组合柱在偏心荷载下的力学性能,进行了13根组合柱的偏心受压试验,研究了钢骨-钢管自密实高强混凝土偏压柱的荷载-变形关系曲线、宏观变形特征和破坏形态,分析了偏心率、长细比、套箍系数和配骨指标对偏压组合柱力学性能的影响。研究结果表明:内置钢骨能延缓甚至阻止核心混凝土中剪切斜裂缝的开展,可有效提高偏压组合柱的极限承载力和延性;在整个加载过程中,钢骨-钢管自密实高强混凝土偏压柱中截面纵向应变沿截面高度的变化基本符合平截面假设,且偏压长柱的侧向挠曲线基本符合正弦半波曲线;钢骨-钢管自密实高强混凝土偏压柱的极限承载力随偏心率和长细比的增大而急剧下降,随着配骨指标的增大而提高。  相似文献
