The objective of this article was to establish the significance of parameters relevant for urban square illumination, particularly those related with the color of light. Performed using a questionnaire and with 154 architecture students as respondents, the survey showed that the 18 parameters can be divided into two groups. The first group of 13 parameters refers to the overall impression, influencing the basic and most important lighting aims like safety, security, orientation, visual comfort, and amenity, whereas the second group includes parameters related to lighting features which may negatively influence the overall impression. The four parameters directly linked to the color of light were evaluated lower than expected, indicating that architecture students were probably translating their attitude toward color in architecture to color of light, thus underestimating this lighting parameter. The survey results also showed that female respondents are more sensitive to parameters, which affect safety and security.  相似文献

This article aims to address two aspects of lighting often treated intuitively by designers in charge of creating retail atmospheres, that is, the impact of color and light distribution, as design variables. The study comprised a controlled experiment with a repeated measure design with three directions of lighting (front, overhead, and wallwasher), as the within‐subject factor and four color combinations of the walls (yellow‐blue, magenta, gray, and green‐magenta), as the between‐group variable. The perceptual (visually) and emotional responses of 184 participants revealed the interplay between light and color on these psychological outcomes. Specifically, the results showed that the overhead direction of lighting improves the appearance of the less favored color conditions, either in terms of lack of visual complexity (monochromatic) or color itself (gray). In turn, the wallwasher lighting emphasized these attributes, differing according to visual or emotional aspects. In retailing, emotional dimensions such as activation and evaluation are desired, and they were confirmed across all the lighting and color conditions of this study. The results provide designers with certain perceptual cues regarding colors and their lighting mode to create desirable impressions and affect in retail spaces.  相似文献

Artworks based on Xuan paper or silk and painted by organic or inorganic pigments are highly responsive to light due to their materials and manufacturing technologies. They belong to the highest level of light responsive exhibits stipulated by International Commission on Illumination (CIE) and are vulnerable to fading and discoloration caused by radiation from light sources. The choice of light sources is the key of protection for artworks. It is indispensible and urgent to choose the lowest damage light sources according to the material characteristics of artworks. In this article, long-term irradiation of typical light sources on various substrates and pigments was used as experimental method, and CIE DE2000 color difference formula was used as the evaluation index. The laws of the influence of different light sources on the color change of various materials were obtained, and the relative damage coefficients of light sources were calculated. Finally, eight kinds of light sources suitable for illuminating responsive artworks with typical material combinations were proposed. However, there are some limitations in the study, because the ancient Chinese Xuan paper and silk used as experimental objects in the experiment are yellowish. Thus, the models derived in this article are not suitable for choosing reasonable display light sources for other works of art. However, suitable light sources for different materials could be obtained by the calculation method used in this article.  相似文献

It is important to evaluate the influence of textile finishing using the polymer resins on the color of dyed fabrics. In this article, three functional polysiloxanes modified with different organic groups were used to treat dyed polyester microfiber fabrics. Effects of the polysiloxanes on the color of the dyed polyester were investigated by color yield (K/S), colorimetric data of CIELAB, and the color differences (ΔE). Chemical structures of three functional polysiloxanes were the polysiloxanes with amino groups (polymer A), with perfluorocarbon groups (polymer B), or with quaternary ammonium salts and perfluorocarbon groups (polymer C). Compared with the dyed fabrics treated with the polysiloxane with amino group, the K/S of dyed fabrics treated with the polysiloxane with perfluorocarbon obviously improved. Effects of the polysiloxanes with perfluorocarbon and cationic groups on the color shade of the dyed polyester were noticeable. Previous research indicated that the peridot's color is dominated by the selective absorption of visible light caused by ferrous ion, the hue angle of which is in an inverse ratio of the concentration of Fe2+. This article focuses on the color effect of peridot under different standard light sources based on the CIE1976 L*a*b* color space system and round RGB diagram system and tries to find the best one for its grading and display. Based on the results of a series of experiments, including electron microprobe analysis, spectrophotometer, UV‐Vis spectrum, standard illumination box, and Munsell neutral color chips, it was suggested that the spectral power distribution and color temperature of a standard light source significantly influence the color of peridot in terms of lightness and chroma, particularly in the hue of peridot. As for color grading and displaying of peridot, standard light source A fails to fit in, and the color of peridot under a fluorescent light source has a higher chroma but a lower hue angle than that under daylight light source. The best choice for grading and displaying peridot is the standard light source D65. It is better to distinguish the hue of peridot when it is calculated by the round RGB diagram system.  相似文献

通过对VCM质量与PVC树脂质量的跟踪分析,初步掌握了VCM质量对氯乙烯聚合反应及PVC树脂质量影响的规律。结果表明:VCM中的Fe含量、酸含量、水分含量及1,2-EDC含量严重超标会导致PVC树脂的白度下降,影响PVC树脂的热稳定性;氯甲烷、氯乙烷含量超标会使PVC树脂中的“鱼眼”数增多;氯乙烷和1,2-EDC含量超标还会降低PVC树脂的聚合度。  相似文献

The use of color and lighting as factors for adapting the housing of the elderly is tending to develop, in response to demographic data on the aging of the population and its impact on lifestyles. Adapting the environment for those over 60 years has become a national issue for public policy. So this article takes stock of the studies carried out on this issue. 重点分析了粒径这一易被忽视的因素对ADC产品质量的影响和影响ADC产品粒径分布的因素.得出结论认为:夏季与冬季生产的ADC产品在粒径分布上存在较大差异,差异来源于温度对化学反应速度的影响,从而造成对产品质量的影响;大粒径粒子的含量对产品内在质量造成直接影响;1~25μm粒子含量不到65%的ADC产品,一般存在质量问题,使用时容易造成质量事故.建议在ADC产品质量标准中一级品和合格品中加入平均粒径分布指标.  相似文献

The results of examination of the influence of ageing by UV rays on the gloss, color, and morphology of injection molded parts made of ABS terpolymer with addition of coloring agents in the form of powder and its masterbatch (granulate) based on ABS and PS media are presented in this article. It has been shown that the UV radiation contributes to decrease in the value of gloss and increase in the luminance of moldings and also changes values of parameters a and b, describing the change in parts color, in the direction of red and yellow, which is connected with the degradation of polymer ABS and coloring agents.
