Eisenbahnüberführung über die Salzach bei Schwarzach/St. Veit

Railway viaduct nearby Schwarzach/St. Veit – Challanges by the realisation of a 46 m long VFT composite frame. In the railway link of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) from Salzburg to Wörgl two trasswork bridges out of steel over the river Salzach were renewed by a frame construction out of prefabricated composite girders. This composite construction has been chosen to realize the construction work in the short track possessions of the high‐stressed railway link. In the scope of the reconstruction of the railway viaduct also a cyclist underpass as a reinforced concrete frame beneath the railway and a pedestrian and cyclist viaduct over the river Salzach have to been rebuilt . The article describes the two composite constructions due to their constructional details and the experiences by building the bridges.
