该文研究了动态业务下,无波长变换的波分复用光传送网采用固定选路时的波长分配问题,提出了一种中心式的波长分配算法-最小影响算法。该算法能精确地描述某个波长的分配对全网状态的影响,因而能够更有效地使用网络资源。计算机仿真表明,如果用阻塞概率来衡量,该波长分配算法优于文献中已有的典型算法。  相似文献

This paper concerns connection provisioning for optical networks employing wavelength division multiplexing. A heuristic algorithm is developed and numerically studied for routing and wavelength assignment of a set of static connection requests. The algorithm runs much faster than the optimum solution of this problem. An adaptation of the algorithm is proposed to design restorable networks which can handle a specified set of failures. The proposed algorithm is based on taking all failures into consideration simultaneously, and performs better than developing independent designs for each failure  相似文献

In wavelength-routed optical networks (WRONs), a wavelength assignment algorithm which can optimally utilize wavelength converters is strongly desired. In this letter, for the first time, we propose a novel graph constructed with groups of available wavelengths, called lambda-runs, to obtain the least-conversion lightpaths easily by applying the shortest-path routing Dijkstra's algorithm. Simulations show that our algorithm is much more scalable than an existing optimal algorithm, and significantly improves the blocking performance, compared to modified first-fit algorithm.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider wavelength rerouting in wavelength routed wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) networks with circuit switching, wherein lightpaths between source-destination pairs are dynamically established and released in response to a random pattern of arriving connection requests and connection holding times. The wavelength continuity constraint imposed by WDM networks leads to poor blocking performance. Wavelength rerouting is a viable and cost effective mechanism that ran improve the blocking performance by rearranging certain existing lightpaths to accommodate a new request. Recently, a rerouting scheme called “parallel move-to-vacant wavelength retuning (MTV-WR)” with many attractive features such as shorter disruption period and simple switching control, and a polynomial time rerouting algorithm, for this scheme, to minimize the weighted number of rerouted lightpaths have been proposed. This paper presents a time optimal rerouting algorithm for wavelength-routed WDM networks with parallel MTV-WR rerouting scheme. The algorithm requires only O(N2W) time units to minimize the weighted number of existing lightpaths to be rerouted, where N is the number of nodes in the network and W is the number of wavelength channels available on a fiber link. Our algorithm is an improvement over the earlier algorithm proposed in that it requires O(N3W+N2W2) time units, which is not time optimal. The simulation results show that our algorithm improves the blocking performance considerably and only very few lightpaths are required to be rerouted per rerouting. It is also established through simulation that our algorithm is faster than the earlier rerouting algorithm by measuring the time required for processing connection requests for different networks  相似文献

对WDM光网络中的波长分配问题进行了研究,采用波长均衡分配的思路解决瓶颈容量对网络性能的影响,并给出了一种启发式算法--最大剩余瓶颈容量算法(Maximum Bottleneck Capacity,MaxBC).该算法把负载引起的波长损失均衡地分布在网络中,使得链路的信道容量受到的影响更小.通过仿真比较了MaxBC与MaxSum、RCL算法在网络拥塞概率等网络性能上的优劣.  相似文献

基于波长转换度的空闲波长图模型,提出了一种用于WDM光网络在备选路由下的动态RWA算法。路由选择采用K条最短路径算法进行,备选路由集中首选最佳路由时考虑链路的代价、跳数和每一个链路上不可用波长数。通过计算机模拟,分析这3个参数对网络的阻塞率的影响,结果表明本算法中所选定研究的3个参数中选定路由的不可用波长数对网络阻塞率的影响程度比通道的代价,跳数对网络的影响程度大,这个结论对算法中这3个参数数值的选取提供了依据,使算法能够依据实际网络情况动态选取参数,降低网络阻塞率。  相似文献

解调系统是光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)传感技术的核心。信号去噪和峰值搜索是影响FBG 传感系统精确解调的两个重要因素。为提高测量精度,文中针对传统方法存在的缺陷,提出了一种新的FBG 波长解调方法,此解调方法由一种改进的去噪方法与高斯拟合寻峰算法组成。采用平移不变量小波与文中提出的改进阈值和改进阈值函数相结合的方法来处理FBG 含噪信号;然后采用高斯拟合寻峰算法对去噪信号作进一步解调。实验结果表明,改进阈值的平移不变量小波能处理不同的FBG 含噪信号,该方法获得的信噪比和均方差性能优于传统小波阈值去噪法以及其他改进的小波去噪法;该改进小波的波长解调方法测量的峰值误差低于1pm,比常用的波长解调方法具有更高的测量精度。  相似文献

在WDM网络中,由于光路之间存在的依赖性,物理网络的单链路失效可能会造成虚拓扑不连通而使上层网络(SDH、ATM或IP)无法使用自身的恢复机制来恢复受影响的业务,因此虚拓扑在嵌入物理拓扑时必须避免发生这种情况.已有的分离备用路径(Disjoint Alternate Path,DAP)算法总是假设网络所有波长路由节点都具有全波长转换能力.本文提出的LG-VTMDP保护设计算法利用分层图同时解决路由和波长分配两个子问题,并考虑了负载均衡和物理链路的容量限制.实验结果表明LG-VTMDP算法优于DAP算法和已有波长分配算法组合后的性能.本文还在此基础上提出了一种有效的波长转换器放置算法WCP算法.  相似文献

We propose a hierarchical optical path network design algorithm that allows for wavelength conversion. The algorithm sequentially solves a set of sub-problems that result from decomposing the original design problem. A novel efficient heuristic is developed to solve the waveband assignment sub-problem that is the bottleneck among the sub-problems. Numerical experiments prove that, by employing wavelength conversion, hierarchical optical path networks will be more cost effective than the single layer optical path network even in the small traffic demand area, where cost-effectiveness cannot be realized without using wavelength conversion, as well as in the relatively large traffic demand area.  相似文献

Sparse wavelength conversion and appropriate routing and wavelength assignment (RWA) algorithms are the two key factors in improving the blocking performance in wavelength-routed all-optical networks. It has been shown that the optimal placement of a limited number of wavelength converters in an arbitrary mesh network is an NP-complete problem. There have been various heuristic algorithms proposed in the literature, in which most of them assume that a static routing and random-wavelength assignment RWA algorithm is employed. However, the existing work shows that fixed-alternate routing and dynamic routing RWA algorithms can achieve much better blocking performance. Our study further demonstrates that the wavelength converter placement and RWA algorithms are closely related in the sense that a well-designed wavelength converter placement mechanism for a particular RWA algorithm might not work well with a different RWA algorithm. Therefore, the wavelength converter placement and the RWA have to be considered jointly. The objective of this paper is to investigate the wavelength converter placement problem under the fixed-alternate routing (FAR) algorithm and least-loaded routing (LLR) algorithm. Under the FAR algorithm, we propose a heuristic algorithm called minimum blocking probability first for wavelength converter placement. Under the LLR algorithm, we propose another heuristic algorithm called weighted maximum segment length. The objective of the converter placement algorithms is to minimize the overall blocking probability. Extensive simulation studies have been carried out over three typical mesh networks, including the 14-node NSFNET, 19-node EON, and 38-node CTNET. We observe that the proposed algorithms not only outperform existing wavelength converter placement algorithms by a large margin, but they also can achieve almost the same performance compared with full wavelength conversion under the same RWA algorithm.  相似文献

Wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) technology is emerging as the transmission and switching mechanism for future optical mesh networks. In these networks it is desired that a wavelength can be routed without electrical conversions. Two technologies are possible for this purpose: wavelength selective cross-connects (WSXC) and wavelength interchanging cross-connects (WIXC), which involve wavelength conversion. It is believed that wavelength converters may improve the blocking performance, but there is a mix of results in the literature on the amount of this performance enhancement. We use two metrics to quantify the wavelength conversion gain: the reduction in blocking probability and the increase in maximum utilization, compared to a network without converters. We study the effects of wavelength routing and selection algorithms on these measures for mesh networks. We use the overflow model to analyze the blocking probability for wavelength-selective (WS) mesh networks using the first-fit wavelength assignment algorithm. We propose a dynamic routing and wavelength selection algorithm, the least-loaded routing (LLR) algorithm, which jointly selects the least-loaded route-wavelength pair. In networks both with and without wavelength converters the LLR algorithm achieves much better blocking performance compared to the fixed shortest path routing algorithm. The LLR produces larger wavelength conversion gains; however, these large gains are not realized in sufficiently wide utilization regions and are diminished with the increased number of fibers  相似文献

针对光传送网中动态业务的路由和波长问题,提出一种基于强化学习的深度路由波长分配算法DeepRWA。算法基于软件定义网络架构,通过强化学习灵活地调整控制光传送网,实现光网络路由波长分配策略优化。针对路由选择问题,结合链路上的波长使用情况,使用A3C算法选择合适的路由,使得阻塞率最小;针对波长分配问题,使用首次命中算法选择波长。考虑阻塞率、资源利用率、策略熵、价值损失、运行时间及收敛速度等多个指标,利用14节点NSFNET网络拓扑仿真实验。结果表明:当信道中包含18个波长时,与传统KSP-FF算法相比,所提出的路由波长分配算法的阻塞率降低了0.06,资源利用率提高了0.02,但运行时间有增加;在波长数超过45以后,与传统KSP-FF算法相比,所提算法保持阻塞率和资源利用率的同时,运行时间开始降低;当信道中包含波长数为58时,与传统KSP-FF算法相比,所提算法运行时间减少了0.07 ms。由此可见,提出的算法使路由选择和波长分配得到了优化。  相似文献

We propose a dynamic routing and wavelength assignment algorithm in an all-optical network with limited-range wavelength conversions. For each randomly arrived request, the correlation of different wavelengths on different links in all possible routes is described by the wavelength weight in our algorithm. We try to assign wavelengths on each candidate route using a shortest-path algorithm based on the wavelength weight and choose the best as its route and wavelength assignment scheme. Numerical results obtained for NSFNET and a 12-node ring show that our algorithm can greatly reduce the blocking probability and the number of required conversions under uniform traffic or traffic dominated by larger hop routes.  相似文献

路由与波长分配是下一代光网络的需要解决的核心问题之一。本文采用智能蚁群算法,研究了卫星光网络的路由与波长分配问题,为通信请求寻找最优的数据传输光路径。基于请求区域受限策略(Restricted Request Area,RRA)和链路波长负载平衡策略,建立了考虑传输延迟和波长连续性约束的双主星分布式星群节点结构光网络系统模型。利用智能蚁群路由和波长分配(Smart Ant Colony Routing AndWavelength Assignment,SAC-RWA)算法求解系统模型,以找到具有稀疏波长转换的卫星光网络中最小成本波长路径。所提出的算法允许单个蚂蚁同时完成路由和波长分配,仿真结果表明,RRA能够明显改进卫星光网络的性能,以略微增加拥塞率的代价显著降低了计算复杂度。  相似文献

针对波长路由网络中动态光链路建立问题,提出了一种快速动态波长路由算法(RWA)。在路由子问题上,通过动态改进最短路径算法(Dijistra算法)权值的设置,使之符合光网络中动态流量分布,并适时更新路由信息表来适时调整网络的流量分布,减轻网络负荷,实现一种负荷均衡的路径查找。在波长分配子问题上,提出一种通过动态调节变异和交叉算子的遗传算法(VMCR-GA),可以实现快速波长搜索和分配。通过在几个网络上的仿真分析,比采用普通遗传和D算法的波长路由算法性能优越,网络阻塞率可以降低10%,波长分配效率提高30%~50%,算法的收敛性也大大提高。  相似文献
