This paper proposes a new control algorithm for a matrix converter permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive system. First, a new switching strategy, which applies a backpropagation neural network to adjust a pseudo DC bus voltage, is proposed to reduce the current harmonics of the permanent magnet synchronous motor. Next, a two-degree-of-freedom controller is proposed to improve the system performance. The parameters of this controller are obtained by using a frequency-domain optimization technique. The controller design algorithm can be applied in an adjustable speed control system and a position control system to obtain good transient responses and good load disturbance rejection abilities. The controller design procedures require only algebraic computation. The implementation of this kind of controller is only possible by using a high-speed digital signal processor. In this paper, all the control loops, including current-loop, speed-loop, and position-loop, are implemented by a 32-b TMS320C40 digital signal processor. The hardware, therefore, is very simple. The design and implementation of a high-performance controller for a field-oriented induction motor drive is presented. Dynamic modeling based on the stochastic technique is performed. Based on the estimated drive model, a two-degree-of-freedom controller is proposed so good dynamic responses in both the speed tracking and regulation characteristics can be achieved. The parameters of the controller are found using a proposed systematic design procedure according to the prescribed specifications. Having designed and tested the performance of the controller by simulation, the hardware implementation is successfully made, and some experimental results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller 相似文献

We develop a robust controller for parallel DC-DC buck converters by combining the concepts of integral-variable-structure and multiple-sliding-surface control. The advantages of the scheme are its simplicity in design, good dynamic response, robustness, ability to nullify the bus-voltage error and the error between the load currents of the converter modules under steady-state conditions, and ability to reduce the impact of very high-frequency dynamics due to parasitics on the closed-loop system. We describe a method for determining the region of existence and stability of the sliding manifolds for such parallel converters. The results show good steady-state and dynamic responses 相似文献

Buck-boost converters are switched power converters. The model of the converter system varies from the ON state to the OFF state and hence traditional methods of controller design based on approximate transfer function models do not yield good dynamic response at different operating points of the converter system. This article attempts to design a feedback controller for a buck-boost type dc–dc converter using a genetic algorithm. The feedback controller design is perceived as an optimisation problem and a robust controller is estimated through an evolutionary search. Extensive simulation and experimental results provided in the article show the effectiveness of the new approach. 相似文献

It is well known that sliding-mode control can give good transient performance and system robustness. However, the presence of chattering may introduce problems to the actuators. Many chattering elimination methods use a finite DC gain controller which leads to a finite steady-state error. One method to ensure zero steady-state error is using a proportional plus integral (PI) controller. This paper proposes a fuzzy logic controller which combines a sliding-mode controller (SMC) and a PI controller. The advantages of the SMC and the PI controller can be combined and their disadvantages can be removed. The system stability is proved, although there is one more state variable to be considered in the PI subsystem. The use of smart structures in combination with modern control strategies offers new ways for the actor design. A good mathematical model and the determination of special mathematical structures are very important for the controller design. For a cantilever beam with two piezoelectric layers the equations of motion are derived by means of the Hamilton formalism. This system is a so-called Hamilton-AI-system and it possesses a special symplectic structure. The mathematical model of the investigated beam may be approximated by a transfer function of low order for the controller design. This paper is concerned with the mathematical modeling and nonlinear controller design of a novel electrohydraulic closed-center power-steering system. After a short introduction to the requirements of modern power-steering systems, the construction of the power-steering system under consideration will be described. The main advantage of this construction is the enhancement of the overall energetic efficiency of the steering system and the possibility of a variable steering assistance while keeping the good steering feeling of traditional hydraulic steering systems. Based on a detailed mathematical model of the essential components of the system, it is shown how some of the parameters of the system can be chosen to achieve an optimal dynamic behavior of the closed-loop system. The controller design proceeds in two steps: first, a nonlinear controller for the assistance force based on the differential flatness property of the system is designed, and afterwards, a steering torque controller using an impedance matching design is derived. 为消除芯片供货受限对装置生产造成的影响,基于FPGA开发了兼容原软件驱动的LCD控制器,搭配主流的SDRAM显存芯片,对装置的相关硬件电路进行升级。所述LCD控制器采用模块化设计,系统分为主机端接口、显存控制器、仲裁器、寄存器、异步FIFO等多个功能子模块,子模块使用有限状态机方法建模,以Verilog语言编程实现,通过参数化配置,能够在保持原软件系统不变的情况下,灵活支持不同分辨率的显示模式,有效满足应用的多样化需求。开发的LCD控制器在样本电路上进行了实测,运行稳定,图像清晰,视觉效果良好。实践证明,LCD控制器的设计具有良好的可配置性、可复用性和可移植性,可以作为类似问题的有效解决方案。 相似文献

为了提高系统的控制性能,综合了模糊控制和PID控制的优点,提出一种基于模糊-PI双模控制器设计方法。典型的二维模糊控制器因缺少积分环节,难以消除稳态误差,控制的精度常常不能满足系统要求;而PI控制器具有良好的消除稳态误差的作用,所以将其与模糊控制器结合构成复合控制器。通过Matlab/Simulink仿真,结果表明,与经典的PID控制方式相比较,该控制方式在快速性、稳态性及准确性方面都有较大提高。 相似文献

This article presents a novel 3D inverted pendulum that can balance on one of its corners using only a single reaction wheel. This is achieved by a careful design of the mass moment of inertia in such a way that the inertia along the two principal tilt axes is significantly different. The consequence is a time-scale separation of the underlying tilt dynamics, which renders the system controllable. We show that controllability is maximized when the ratio of the two principal inertia values amounts to the square of the silver ratio and discuss a sensor placement that minimizes variance in our tilt estimates. Both of these aspects lead to a principled design of the system. A model is derived from first-principles and used for delay compensation, state estimation, and to design a linear-quadratic regulator that stabilizes the highly underactuated system in its upright equilibrium. Thereby, the modeling and compensation of cantilever deflections, which arise from the lightweight design, is crucial. The article includes experimental results, which underline the efficacy of the system design and highlight an excellent balancing performance of the proposed feedback controller. 相似文献

In this paper, the dynamic responses of a recurrent-fuzzy-neural-network (RFNN) sliding-mode-controlled permanent-magnet (PM) synchronous servo motor are described. First, a newly designed total sliding-mode control system, which is insensitive to uncertainties, including parameter variations and external disturbance in the whole control process, is introduced. The total sliding-mode control comprises the baseline model design and the curbing controller design. In the baseline model design, a computed torque controller is designed to cancel the nonlinearity of the nominal plant. In the curbing controller design, an additional controller is designed using a new sliding surface to ensure the sliding motion through the entire state trajectory. Therefore, in the total sliding-mode control system, the controlled system has a total sliding motion without a reaching phase. Then, to overcome the two main problems with sliding-mode control, i.e., the assumption of known uncertainty bounds and the chattering phenomena in the control effort, an RFNN sliding-mode control system is investigated to control the PM synchronous servo motor. In the RFNN sliding-mode control system, an RFNN bound observer is utilized to adjust the uncertainty bounds in real time. To guarantee the convergence of tracking error, analytical methods based on a discrete-type Lyapunov function are proposed to determine the varied learning rates of the RFNN. Simulated and experimental results due to periodic step and sinusoidal commands show that the dynamic behaviors of the proposed control systems are robust with regard to uncertainties 相似文献
