A number of properties of the complex and real pole placement map (PPM) which relate to the dimensions of their images and relate them to known system invariants are derived. It is shown that the two dimensions are equal and that their computation is equivalent to determining the rank of the corresponding differential. A new expression for the differential of the PPM allows the derivation of relationships between the Markov parameters and the Plucker matrix invariant of the system. Conditions for pole assignability are derived, based on the relationships between the rank of the Plucker matrix and the rank of the differential of the PPM  相似文献

The new concepts of the decentralized output feedback variable polynomial, the decentralized output feedback cycle index of general proper systems, and the geometric multiplicities of decentralized fixed modes are introduced. Their computational methods and some algebraic properties are presented. It is shown that the decentralized output feedback cycle index of a general proper system is equal to one when the system has no fixed modes or equal to the maximum of the geometric multiplicities of its decentralized fixed modes. It is also shown that almost all decentralized output feedback can be used to make the zeros of the decentralized variable polynomial distinct, and disjoint from any given finite set of points on the complex plane.  相似文献

Some algebraic properties of linear singular systems at infinity under static decentralized output feedback are studied in this note. New concepts of algebraic multiplicity and geometric multiplicity of the impulsive decentralized fixed modes, and the impulsive decentralized cycle index of the singular system are defined. These concepts indicate how much a singular system can be made close to being impulse-free by decentralized output feedback, and the results are shown to be generic. The geometric multiplicity and the impulsive decentralized cycle index are determined in terms of the system matrices explicitly. The number of impulsive modes that can be eliminated is given in terms of these indexes. The impulsive decentralized cycle index is shown to characterize generic properties on controllability and observability of the closed-loop system through an individual channel (or an external channel). Many controller realizations are structurally constrained. Some typical examples are static output feedback, constant gain feedback for multiple operating points of a system, two-controller feedback, and decentralized feedback. A general class of problems of regional pole placement of multivariable systems with such control structure constraints is considered and a unified numerical method is given to solve them. This paper investigates algebraic properties of decentralized singular systems (DSSs) under local static output feedback. New concepts of the geometric multiplicity (GM) of the finite decentralized fixed mode (DFM), the decentralized output feedback variable polynomial (DVP), and the finite decentralized output feedback cycle index (DCI) of the DSS are defined. The formulas for determining the GM and the DCI are given in terms of the DFM and the system matrices. It is shown that almost any decentralized output feedback can make the zeros of the DVP (i.e., the closed-loop poles that are variable) distinct and away from any given finite set in the complex plane. It is also shown that the finite DFM of the DSS are those uncontrollable and/or observable finite modes of the closed-loop DSS through any single channel. Finally, the minimal number of the inputs and outputs that guarantee the finite modes of the closed-loop DSS controllable and observable is shown to be the finite DCI of the DSS. This paper addresses the problem of decentralized robust stabilization and control for a class of uncertain Markov jump parameter systems. Control is via output feedback and knowledge of the discrete Markov state. It is shown that the existence of a solution to a collection of mode-dependent coupled algebraic Riccati equations and inequalities, which depend on certain additional parameters, is both necessary and sufficient for the existence of a robust decentralized switching controller. A guaranteed upper bound on robust performance is also given. To obtain a controller which satisfies this bound, an optimization problem involving rank constrained linear matrix inequalities is introduced, and a numerical approach for solving this problem is presented. To demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed approach, an example stabilization problem for a power system comprising three generators and one on-load tap changing transformer is considered.  相似文献

This paper investigates the decentralized output feedback control problem for Markovian jump interconnected systems with unknown interconnections and measurement errors. Different from some existing results, the global operation modes of all subsystems are not required to be completely accessible for the decentralized control system. A decentralized dynamic output feedback controller is constructed using neighboring mode information and local outputs, where the measurement errors between actual and measured outputs are considered. Subsequently, a new design method is developed such that the resultant closed‐loop system is stochastically stable and satisfying an L‐norm constraint. Sufficient conditions are formulated by linear matrix inequalities, and the controller gains are characterized in terms of the solution of a convex optimization problem. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper the problem of pole assignment using constant gain output feedback is studied for MIMO system with system order n > m + l − 1, where m and l are the number of inputs and outputs, respectively. We consider linear periodic discrete-time systems. We are interested in the problem of placing the poles of the monodromy map by means of periodic output feedback of the same or multiple period. It is well known that, in general, the poles of time-invariant systems cannot be assigned by constant output feedback. This is in contrast with what can be obtained in the context of time-variant systems. A class of jump control systems, whose structure changes in time according to the evolution of a homogeneous Markov chain, is studied. The control system in every fixed mode is described by a linear differential equation. The state vector of the system may also jump when the mode jumps. The number of modes is finite and mode jump process is observable. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the mean-square stabilization of the system via a static output feedback control, which is synchronously switched with mode changes, are formulated. These conditions are generalized to uncertain parameters of mode changes. Sufficient conditions under which a static-feedback control stabilizes the system under uncertainty of control parameters are derived. These results are generalized to the case of dynamic output feedback. This paper deals with the problem of decentralized output feedback stabilization for a class of large‐scale stochastic time‐delay systems with Markovian jumping parameters. Attention is focused on the design of a decentralized dynamic output feedback controller, which is also with Markovian jumping parameters, such that the closed‐loop system is exponentially mean‐square stable. A sufficient condition for the solvability of this problem is proposed in terms of linear matrix inequalities. In this paper, the static output feedback decentralized stabilization problem is addressed using a linear matrix inequality approach. A necessary and sufficient condition for static output feedback decentralized stabilizability is derived for linear time-invariant large-scale systems. It is proven that the existence of a stabilizing decentralized gain is equivalent to that of the solution of a quadratic matrix inequality. The extension of the result to control is studied. An iterative LMI algorithm based on the linear matrix inequality technique is proposed to obtain the decentralized feedback gain. Examples show the effectiveness of the algorithm.  相似文献

The disturbance localization problem for left invertible linear periodic discrete-time systems is solved using periodic state feedback controllers. The proposed technique is of algebraic nature and has the following two main characteristics: (i) It yields simple algebraic criteria for testing the solvability of the problem, as compared to known geometric criteria, which may not be so easy to check. (ii) It derives analytically the general expressions of all periodic controllers admissible for disturbance localization, as compared to known techniques, which lead to nonanalytic parametrizations of the admissible controllers via constructive procedures. Moreover, for the aforementioned class of periodic systems, the state feedback simultaneous disturbance localization and stabilization or pole placement problem is treated, and conditions for its solvability are established, on the basis of a decentralized control approach, that makes use of the equivalence between the above problem and the stabilization or pole placement problem of a general proper multichannel system by decentralized static output feedback.  相似文献

采用周期输出反馈的途径, 考虑了线性离散时间周期系统的极点配置问题. 通过将闭环单值性矩阵进行一系列转化, 周期输出反馈律的求解问题可以转化为一类Sylvester矩阵方程的求解问题. 利用Sylvester矩阵方程的最新结果, 可以将输出反馈增益表示为参数化形式, 从而得到了能够实现极点配置的所有输出反馈控制器. 数值算例验证了方法的有效性.  相似文献
