The purpose of this article is to provide a numerically efficient method for the quadratic stabilisation of a class of linear, discrete-time, uncertain, time-varying systems. The considered class of systems is characterised by an interval time-varying (ITV) matrix and constant sensor and actuator matrices. It is required to find a linear time-invariant (LTI) static output feedback controller yielding a quadratically stable closed-loop system independently of the parameter variation rate. The solvability conditions are stated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The set of LMIs includes the stability conditions for the feedback connection of a unique suitably defined extreme plant with an LTI output controller and the positivity of a closed-loop extremal matrix. A consequent noticeable feature of the article is that the total number of LMIs is independent of the number of uncertain parameters. This greatly enhances the numerical efficiency of the design procedure. 相似文献

This paper studies the problem of finite-time stabilisation of more general high-order nonlinear systems with dynamic and parametric uncertainties. This article concerns the stability analysis and design for uncertain stochastic systems with time-varying delays in state and actuator saturation. The parameter uncertainties belong to a convex polytopic set, and the delays are time varying. A sufficient condition is obtained in terms of a priori designed feedback matrix for determining if a given set is in inside the domain of attraction. Using the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, an estimate of the domain of attraction is presented. The problem of designing a state feedback controller such that the domain of attraction is enlarged is formulated through solving an optimisation problem with LMI constraints. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results. 相似文献

This paper considers the robust servomechanism design for a polytopic uncertain system subject to a previewable reference signal. Based on the robust mixed LQ/ℋ︁∞ criterion, we develop a design method of a state feedback controller with integral and preview actions achieving the robust tracking performance in terms of linear matrix inequalities. This paper addresses the distributed cooperative stabilisation problem of continuous-time uncertain nonlinear multi-agent systems. By approximating the uncertain dynamics using neural networks, a distributed adaptive cooperative controller, based on the state information of the neighbouring agents, is proposed. The control design is developed for any undirected connected communication topologies without requiring the accurate model of each agent. This result is further extended to the output feedback case. An observer-based distributed cooperative controller is devised and a parameter dependent Riccati inequality is employed to prove stability of the overall multi-agent systems. This design is less complex than the other design methods and has a favourable decouple property between the observer design and the controller design for uncertain nonlinear multi-agent systems. For both cases, the developed controllers guarantee that all signals in the closed-loop network are uniformly ultimately bounded, and the states of all agents cooperatively converge to a small neighbourhood of origin. A comparative study is given to show the efficacy of the proposed method. 相似文献

This paper considers the stabilisation problem for uncertain discrete-time switched systems with time-varying delay in the state. The uncertainty is assumed to be of structured linear fractional form, which includes the norm-bounded uncertainty as a special case. A stability condition is first proposed by using switched Lyapunov function, which is dependent on the minimum and maximum delay bounds. This paper studies robust performance analysis problems of linear time-invariant systems affected by real parametric uncertainties. In the case where the state-space matrices of the system depend affinely on the uncertain parameters, it is know that recently developed extended or dilated linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) are effective to assess the robust performance in a less conservative fashion. This paper further extends those preceding results and propose a unified way to obtain numerically verifiable dilated LMI conditions even in the case of rational parameter dependence. In particular, it turns out that the proposed dilated LMIs enable us to assess the robust performance via multiaffine parameter-dependent Lyapunov variables so that less conservative analysis results can be achieved. Connections among the proposed conditions and existing results are also discussed concretely. Several existing results can be viewed as particular cases of the proposed conditions. 相似文献

This paper is concerned with the static output feedback stabilisation of Markov jump systems. Transition probabilities are assumed to be incomplete, namely, they may be known, uncertain with known lower and upper bounds and unknown. To linearise the nonlinearities induced by unknown transition probabilities, a linearisation is developed. To solve the static output feedback problem by means of linear matrix inequalities, a constructive method is proposed to separate the controller gain matrices from Lyapunov variables. Based on the linearisation and the separation, sufficient conditions are established to guarantee that the closed-loop system is stochastically stable by the designed static output feedback controller. The obtained results are further extended to deal with norm-bounded or polytopic uncertainties on system matrices.
