The paper deals with a Unified Modeling Language (UML)-based approach for implementing Product Data Management (PDM) system. Such kind of system enables the management of the entire product lifecycle and related information about its design, its manufacturing and its in-service.

The interest of using an UML-based approach for modeling, specifying and implementing PDM systems is detailed. Then an implementation method is proposed in order to clarify the instantiation of UML diagrams into database entities. Regarding a business case study based on the needs of a turboprop aircraft development project, the preliminary implementation of PDM system is presented. The used UML diagrams for the modeling and integration of product, process, and resource data is detailed in order to argue the interest of an object-oriented approach in such kind of PDM implementation.  相似文献

通过对产品数据管理系统的分析,本文探讨了产品数据管理系统中数据、工作流程、活动、操作和角色之间的关系,提出了基于数据、工作流程、活动、操作和角色的用户权限管理的建模方法。通过在某航空企业PDM系统中建立用户权限管理模型的应用,证明了这种方法具有简单、规范、有效等特点,井可广泛应用于其它类型的复杂信息系统中。  相似文献

金融系统的故障诊断要求标准高,针对金融系统金融产品从设计到生产相关文档齐全,各零部件参数详细,有着明确统一的标准的特点。在简单介绍PDM 和FMEA 的基础上,提出了PDM 与FMEA 相结合生成故障树进行金融设备故障诊断与维护的方法,将金融产品构成信息、产品功能信息及维修信息并融合产品设计阶段获取的诊断知识,进行诊断,使产品的设计、诊断与维护形成一个有机整体。详细阐述了PDM 结合FMEA 的生成故障树的知识表达及规则生成的原理,并以ATM 机为例进行了验证。  相似文献

Fixture design is a complex and an intuitive process. An efficient fixture design system is essential to cut costs and reduce the product lead-time. In today's manufacturing landscape, various computer-aided systems exist to aid the various stages of manufacturing. A fixture design system should be able to transfer information with the various other systems to bring about a seamless product design and manufacturing environment. A fixture design system should also be portable on different operating platforms. This paper addresses the development of an Internet-enabled interactive fixture design system. The Internet and the use of XML as a file format provide a means for the transfer of information and knowledge between the various computer-aided manufacturing systems. The system has been implemented using Java and is based on a three-tier Thin Client-Fat Server architecture. This ensures the platform independent performance of the system. A locating scheme independent interactive fixture design method has also been developed in this work for detailed fixture design.  相似文献

传统的产品数据管理(PDM)系统之间没有标准的接口,缺乏互操作性,难以与国际接轨,限制了飞行器并行设计中产品数据交互的范围。Object Management Group(OMG)发布的产品数据管理使能(PDM Enablers)规范支持分布式产品数据管理环境并对不同的PDM系统提供了标准接口,能够很好地解决以上问题。该文以PDM Enablers为依据,采用面向对象的建模方法,首先提出了基于Enablers的飞行器并行工程环境体系结构;其次建立了基于Enablers的文档管理模型,并着重对文档的状态变迁及版本管理机制进行研究;最后讨论了支持飞行器并行设计的文档管理信息存储模式。  相似文献

In this paper, the bill of materials (BOM) system is defined as the central hub of a general product data management (PDM) system that provides essential data for running a manufacturing system to produce products. Information that is relevant to products and their components is defined in the BOM. The information is critically related to data from product design, manufacturing planning, production management, procurement, inventory control, and accounting within a company. A conventional BOM structure (or product configuration), which manages data only in a stand-alone relational database management style, cannot satisfy the needs requested by all departments within a company. A BOM should relate to and communicate with other domains of the information system. In this research, a newly designed BOM system uses the object-oriented programming (OOP) concept to represent product information. The object-oriented BOM (OOBOM) system can capture and encapsulate data that will simultaneously serve the information needs of various departments. In order to manage product data dynamically, the system provides several interfaces for easy data access and manipulation. The linkage between BOM and its corresponding CAD/CAM system is enabled through the X-window manager: thus an integrated PDM environment is developed. This product management approach improves the consistency and efficiency of product data representation.  相似文献

This paper applies online analytic processing (OLAP), a widely accepted database analysis technique, to a product data management (PDM) database to evaluate the performance of in-progress product development. This paper introduces a set of processing key performance indicators (KPIs) that can measure ongoing product development. To convert and analyze operational data in a PDM database with interactive OLAP operations, this study proposes a multidimensional data model specified by product facts with associated dimensions. The model is implemented using a commercial OLAP engine, and applied to a database supported by a prototype PDM system. The OLAP engine allows analysts to interactively evaluate the performance of in-progress product development in a multidimensional data space. This is a far more flexible and efficient approach than other result-oriented static evaluation approaches.  相似文献

PDM是CAx信息集成的平台,本文在分析了PDM系统的功能模块以及PDM与CAD系统之间的信息集成关系的基础之上,应用VB6.0、ACCESS、AUTOCAD2004进行了系统的开发。系统主要由三部分组成液压缸辅助设计部分计算机辅助绘图部分和产品信息管理部分。实现了液压缸产品设计、计算、绘图以及产品数据管理的一体化,提高了产品设计水平和企业的信息化水平。  相似文献

While product design and development has received significant attention over the past years, the activity of Design Review (DR) has not been dealt with at the equal level, despite its paramount importance. This can be easily observed from the scarce literature and ad hoc approach in industrial practices. Few Product Data Management (PDM) systems provide facilities for design review due to the lack of rigorous DR methodologies. This paper proposes a systematic and rigorous methodology for more efficient and effective DR by applying and extending the Suh’s well-known Theory of Axiomatic Design (TAD) into a Systematic Theory of Axiomatic design Review (STAR). The resulting STAR framework is well-structured and generic enough not only to act as the basis for developing a web-based design review portal in the extended enterprise, but also to accommodate specific design review techniques such as FuzzySTAR (Fuzzy Set Theory Approach to design Review) used for reviewing the fuel pump design case study.  相似文献
