多胺基CO2吸附材料的制备   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
用纳米级SiO2负载胺化合物,制备CO2捕捉材料。测定了不同原料比例下该材料的吸水率,在饱和水蒸汽和干燥条件下对CO2的吸附量,以及它作为CO2气体吸附材料的重复使用和再生性能。研究结果表明,在饱和水蒸汽环境中,该吸附材料对CO2的吸附量远比干燥环境中的吸附量大的多,其中多胺基聚合物与SiO2比为20∶1时对CO2吸附量最大,可达到17mg/g。该吸附材料具有良好的重复使用及再生性能,经再生使用后,吸附量变化不大。  相似文献

Effective application of carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) systems could help to alleviate the influence of climate change by reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. The research objective of this study is to develop an equilibrium chance-constrained programming model with bi-random variables (ECCP model) for supporting the CCUS management system under random circumstances. The major advantage of the ECCP model is that it tackles random variables as bi-random variables with a normal distribution, where the mean values follow a normal distribution. This could avoid irrational assumptions and oversimplifications in the process of parameter design and enrich the theory of stochastic optimization. The ECCP model is solved by an equilibrium change-constrained programming algorithm, which provides convenience for decision makers to rank the solution set using the natural order of real numbers. The ECCP model is applied to a CCUS management problem, and the solutions could be useful in helping managers to design and generate rational CO2-allocation patterns under complexities and uncertainties.  相似文献

Among various clean energy technologies, one innovative option for reducing the emission of greenhouse gases (GHGs) and criteria pollutants involves pairing carbon capture and storage (CCS) with the production of synthetic fuels and electricity from a combination of coal and sustainably sourced biomass. With a relatively pure CO2 stream as an inherent byproduct of the process, most of the resulting GHG emissions can be eliminated by simply compressing the CO2 for pipeline transport. Subsequent storage of the CO2 output in underground reservoirs can result in very low—perhaps even near-zero—net GHG emissions, depending on the fraction of biomass as input and its CO2 signature. To examine the potential market penetration and environmental impact of coal-and-biomass-to-liquids-and-electricity (CBtLE), a system-wide sensitivity analysis was performed using the MARKet ALlocation energy model. CBtLE was found to be most competitive in scenarios with a combination of high oil prices, low CCS costs, and, unexpectedly, non-stringent carbon policies. In the scheme considered here (30 % biomass input on an energy basis and 85 % carbon capture), CBtLE fails to achieve significant market share in deep decarbonization scenarios, regardless of oil prices and CCS costs. Such facilities would likely require higher fractions of biomass feedstock and captured CO2 to successfully compete in a carbon-constrained energy system.  相似文献

The separation and sequestration of anthropogenic CO2 is one of the most effective steps to counter global warming by curtailing the excess CO2 levels in the atmosphere. However, to achieve the global climate change targets, in addition to the capture of CO2 from the point sources, complementary carbon-negative technologies that capture CO2 directly from the atmosphere are also necessary. The most crucial aspect of any CO2 capture technology is the selection of a suitable sorbent, which is the most efficient in a specific temperature, pressure, and moisture range. The urgent nature of the CO2 crisis has led to overwhelming contributions from researchers globally in terms of different sorbents, measurement techniques, reactors, and processes. Additionally, to develop a commercially viable CO2 capture technology, a detailed and holistic techno-economic analysis is also vital. In this review, we have documented the recent progress on CO2 capture studies using different solid sorbents under various operational conditions, along with the methodologies and reactors used for these studies. Furthermore, this review presents a detailed account of the industrial status of various existing CO2 capture technologies, including direct air capture and its techno-economic prospects. This review aims to provide a bird’s eye view of the status of CO2 capture research with a particular emphasis on the most recent developments in this field.  相似文献

Recent progress in the production, purification, and experimental and theoretical investigations of carbon nanotubes for hydrogen storage are reviewed. From the industrial point of view, the chemical vapor deposition process has shown advantages over laser ablation and electric-arc-discharge methods. The ultimate goal in nanotube synthesis should be to gain control over geometrical aspects of nanotubes, such as location and orientation, and the atomic structure of nanotubes, including helicity and diameter. There is currently no effective and simple purification procedure that fulfills all requirements for processing carbon nanotubes. Purification is still the bottleneck for technical applications, especially where large amounts of material are required. Although the alkalimetal-doped carbon nanotubes showed high H2 weight uptake, further investigations indicated that some of this uptake was due to water rather than hydrogen. This discovery indicates a potential source of error in evaluation of the storage capacity of doped carbon nanotubes. Nevertheless, currently available single-wall nanotubes yield a hydrogen uptake value near 4 wt% under moderate pressure and room temperature. A further 50% increase is needed to meet U.S. Department of Energy targets for commercial exploitation. Meeting this target will require combining experimental and theoretical efforts to achieve a full understanding of the adsorption process, so that the uptake can be rationally optimized to commercially attractive levels. Large-scale production and purification of carbon nanotubes and remarkable improvement of H2 storage capacity in carbon nanotubes represent significant technological and theoretical challenges in the years to come.  相似文献

The Governments of India and the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh (HP) recently adopted policy changes intended to expedite development approvals for power projects. This paper focuses on the 1997 changes to the Environmental Protection Act that establish procedures for public hearings as a component of EIA. Three hydro project public hearings in the Kullu District (HP) in 1998 show that public involvement andpublic hearing processes are in their nascent stages despite the rapid pace of development. Many constraints, such as inaccessibility of information, lack of familiarity with EIA, and lack of institutional capacity, hinder serious public involvement. Public concerns focused on safety issues (blasting), new road construction and jobs, with little consideration of environmental impact.  相似文献

A new Master Program in environmental technology and management has been developed in the framework of the Swiss-Jordanian cooperation, to ensure sustainable knowledge transfer in environmental management, technology, and economics. The areas represented in this program are cleaner production, hazardous substances management, and meso-economic analysis. All of these areas are under the theme of integrated resources management. The program implementation is carried out at Princess Sumaya University for Technology PSUT through cooperation with universities and environmental organizations in Switzerland, which was started in February 2008. The need for establishing this program in Jordan emerged from the practical experience of the Swiss partners who are working in environmental management. It was found that the concept of integrated resources management and the efficient utilization of resources were under estimated by practitioners. This leads to the urge of establishing a comprehensive program to upgrade the capacity of practitioners and new graduates to be able to handle environmental resources in a sustainable manner. For this purpose, the program includes and promotes the use of a number of tools. Meso-economic analysis is introduced in the program as a suitable tool to reflect the environmental values in monetary perspective, and to fill the gap at a meso (sector level) between the traditional micro (enterprise level) and macro (country level). Thus, meso-analysis comes out with integrated picture about the whole country’s sector and its related environmental damage and remediation options.  相似文献

The degree of robustness of environmental management program in the EIA reports of 56 green-field and 28 brown-field environmentally approved projects was found to be low, revealing that it is not considered seriously by the EIA consultants and the decision-makers. EMPg, akin to EIA follow-up, specific to a project at a given location, is the most important output of the EIA process especially for the developing countries where priority is on the economic development by way of development projects and the EIA process has inherent weaknesses. A meticulously prepared, implemented, operationalized, monitored, periodically audited and continually improved EMPg in different life-cycle phases of a project could possibly offset limitations of the EIA process. Considering lack of guidelines available on the development of EMPg, elaborate guidelines are proposed. EMPg could be prepared as a separate document to facilitate development of project manual. TOR for brown-field projects need a totally different approach. Amending the currently followed EIA process and introducing an additional stage of mandatory approval of EMPg, and third party audit would improve its robustness.  相似文献

Technological progress has influenced the way we acquire knowledge and learn. On the other hand, the Internet provides fast access to information technology in different fields and thus, improves efficiency and saves time. The importance of online technology is especially emphasized in new methods for learning and education. This is particularly important among Generation Z (“Gen Z″), which derives knowledge from the Internet and is focused on a quick search of information. The aim of this paper is to determine how technology and the Internet affect the acquisition of knowledge by Generation Z, and which forms of knowledge acquisition this generation prefers. In our paper, the problem concerns various forms of learning and acquiring knowledge. Research was conducted among 498 young people actively using an online peer-to-peer knowledge-sharing community. The results of ANOVA analysis showed the respondents being more partial towards learning via mobile applications and video content over the traditional form. It also discovered that the students tended to emulate their teachers who integrated modern technologies into their curriculum and used it outside classroom hours for learning. The results of this research make several important theoretical contributions to the gap in knowledge acquisition by Gen Z, and provide several important practical recommendations for educators.  相似文献
