A new versatile universal voltage-mode biquad with three inputs and five outputs using only two differential difference current conveyors (DDCCs), two grounded capacitors, and three resistors is proposed. The proposed configuration which can be used as either a single-input five-output filter or three-input two-output filter and which can simultaneously realize all five different generic filtering lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop, and allpass signals is unlike the previously reported works and still enjoys (i) the employment all grounded capacitors, (ii) no need to employ inverting-type input signals, (iii) orthogonal control of the resonance angular frequency and the quality factor, (iv) simultaneous realization of lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop, and allpass responses for the single-input five-output filter, and (v) no need to impose component choice to realize all five generic responses for the three-input two-output filter.  相似文献

A new universal biquad filter is presented which can realize all the five standard filter functions namely lowpass, bandpass, highpass, notch and allpass in voltage-mode (VM) as well as in current-mode (CM) employing only unity-gain cells (i.e. voltage followers and current followers) as active elements. Explicit VM/CM outputs are available from low output impedance terminals and high output impedance terminals, respectively. The workability of the proposed universal biquad, realized with CMOS unity-gain cells, is established by SPICE simulations.  相似文献

A new universal current-mode (CM) biquad filter is presented which can realise all the five standard filter functions namely lowpass, bandpass, highpass, notch and allpass employing only unity-gain current followers (CF) as active elements. The workability of the proposed universal biquad, realised with CMOS unity-gain current followers, is established by SPICE simulations. The new circuit provides explicit CM outputs from high output impedance terminals and possesses a number of advantageous features all of which are not available simultaneously in any of the previously reported CF-based universal biquad filters.  相似文献

A new mixed-mode biquad circuit is presented. The circuit uses six single-output plus-type second-generation current-conveyors (CCII+s), a single dual-output CCII+, two grounded capacitors, eight resistors, at least two of them permanently grounded, and can realize lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch, lowpass notch, highpass notch and allpass responses from the same topology. The circuit can be driven by voltage or current and its output can be voltage or current. The parameters ω0 and ω0/Q 0 enjoy independent electronic tunability. A lossless floating inductance has been simulated using two differential voltage current conveyors, two resistors and one grounded capacitor. The proposed floating inductance needs not component matching condition. Base on the proposed floating inductance as building block, a new voltage-mode universal biquadratic filter with one input and five outputs can be obtained. The proposed universal biquad uses two differential voltage current conveyors, three resistors and two grounded capacitors. All standard filter functions; highpass, bandpass, lowpass, notch and allpass can be obtained, simultaneously, without changing the passive elements. The proposed universal biquad has the features of using only grounded capacitors and orthogonal controllable of resonance angular frequency and quality factor.  相似文献

A novel electronically tunable versatile voltage-mode universal biquad filter by using two single-output-operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs), one differential difference current conveyor (DDCC) and two capacitors is proposed. The proposed circuit, which can be used as either a four-input single-output universal filter or a single-input three-output multifunction filter with the same topology. Besides, the new circuit offers the following advantageous features: realization of all the non-inverting and inverting biquadratic filter signals from the same configuration, no need to employ inverting-type input signals, no need to component-matching conditions and low passive sensitivity performance.  相似文献

A current mode second-order allpass notch and bandpass filter using a single CCII, two grounded capacitors and four resistors is proposed. The allpass and notch output current signals, taken out through port z of a CCII and having high output impedance, can be obtained by tuning a resistor in the proposed network. The resonance angular frequency and quality factor of the new network have the advantages of low passive sensitivities and are insensitive to the current tracking error of the nonideal CCII.<>  相似文献

New current-mode and voltage-mode universal biquad filters are presented using only two unity-gain cells (one current follower and one voltage follower) in each configuration. The proposed filters employ one less follower than in the literature to date. The filters can realize highpass, bandpass, lowpass, notch and allpass responses without any changes in the circuit topology. The circuits enjoy the following advantages: minimum number of active elements, no component-matching condition and low active and passive sensitivities.  相似文献

In this paper, four new voltage-mode universal biquad filters configuration are proposed. First of two circuits proposed high-input impedance universal filter with single-input and three-outputs, which can simultaneously realize voltage mode low-pass, band-pass and high-pass filter responses employing all grounded passive components. The third proposed universal filter three-input and single-output, which also can realize all the standard filter functions. The fourth circuit proposed universal filter with three-input and five-outputs, which can be used as either a three-inputs single-output or a two-inputs five-outputs universal filters. It can realize all five different generic filtering signals: low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, band-stop and all-pass. Simulation results are given to confirm the theoretical analysis. The third proposed universal filter with three inputs and five outputs, which can be used as either a three-input single-output or a two-input five-output universal filter. A new Kerwin-Huelsman-Newcomb (KHN)-equivalent biquad, operating in the current mode (CM), is proposed. The proposed circuit is derived from the adjoint graph of the signal flow graph corresponding to the classical KHN circuit. The derived circuit is a CM universal filter, which offers all the main advantages of CM circuits as well as those of the classical KHN circuit. The proposed circuit employs three current differencing buffered amplifiers (CDBAs) as active elements. Two novel universal active current filters, one of which has multiple outputs and the other of which has a single output and high output impedance, employing a single negative second-generation current conveyor, three position-fixed capacitors and four/five position-fixed resistors are proposed. The proposed networks with the advantages of low passive sensitivities can obtain second-order lowpass, bandpass, highpass, notch and allpass current signals by adjusting the magnitudes of a grounded resistor and a grounded capacitor provided that another resistor is separable. In this paper, a versatile three‐input five‐output universal capacitor‐grounded voltage‐mode filter is proposed. The circuit employs two differential voltage current conveyors as active elements together with two grounded capacitors and four resistors as passive elements. The proposed configuration can be used as either a single‐input five‐output or three‐input two‐output. Unlike the previously reported works, it can simultaneously realize five different generic filtering signals: lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandreject, and allpass. A new current-mode universal biquad and a new voltage-mode universal biquad using a single current-feedback amplifier are proposed in this paper. Both biquads enjoy the following advantages: realization of highpass, bandpass and lowpass filtering from each configuration, avoidance of input voltage tracking error in a current-feedback amplilfier; only one active component; no requirement for match components; low passive and active sensitivities. An inverting amplifier is used to form a notch filter. Experimental results are obtained to prove the theoretical analyses.  相似文献

A universal voltage-mode filter configuration employing a voltage differencing inverting buffered amplifier (VDIBA), two capacitors and a resistor is proposed. The presented structure can realize all the five standard biquadratic filters: low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, band-reject and all-pass, without changing the circuit topology. The proposed filter circuit also provides the following advantageous features, not available simultaneously in any of the single active element/device based universal biquad realizing all the five filter responses known earlier so far: (i) independent electronic tuning of natural angular frequency (ω 0) and bandwidth (BW), (ii) no requirement of any element matching condition or inversion of input signal(s) (as needed in most of the earlier reported structures), and (iii) low active and passive sensitivities. Moreover, even the internal structure of the new building block is possibly the simplest among all recently introduced new building blocks. The workability of the proposed filter has been confirmed by SPICE simulations using 0.18 μm technology.  相似文献

This paper introduces a voltage-mode biquad filter using only active devices such as operational amplifiers and operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs). The circuit configuration is obtained from Soderstrand's active-R state variable filter as a prototype. The proposed circuit can realize five different biquad transfer functions, and the circuit characteristics can be electronically tuned by adjusting the transconductance gains of the OTAs. An example is given, together with simulated results by PSPICE. The circuit configuration is very suitable for implementation in both bipolar and CMOS technologies.  相似文献

设计了一种单端输入单端输出的电流模式带通滤波器,核心部件为用三极管设计的第二代电流传输器(CCⅡ).电路由两个CCⅡ和一些无源器件构成,通过偏置电流控制其中心频率,实现对信号的带通滤波功能.该滤波器提供了更大带宽下的更高电压增益,解决了电压跟随不理想的问题,且具有更低的无源灵敏度,能广泛应用于无线通讯、射频等高频模拟电路中.使用Hspice软件仿真分析并验证了理论设计的准确性和可行性.  相似文献
