Substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technology provides an attractive solution to the integration of planar and nonplanar circuits by using a planar circuit fabrication process. However, it is usually difficult to implement the negative coupling structure required for the design of compact canonical folded elliptic or quasi-elliptic cross-coupled bandpass filter on the basis of a single-layer SIW. In this paper, a special planar negative coupling scheme including a magnetic coupling post-wall iris and a balanced microstrip line with a pair of metallic via-holes is studied in detail. Two -band fourth-degree cross-coupled bandpass filters without and with source-load coupling using the negative coupling structures are then proposed and designed. The two novel SIW filters having the same center frequency of 20.5 GHz and respective passband width of 700 and 800 MHz are implemented on a single-layer Rogers RT/Duroid 5880 substrate with thickness of 0.508 mm. Measured results of those filters, which exhibit a high selectivity, and a minimum in-band insertion loss of approximately 0.9 and 1.0 dB, respectively, agree well with simulated results.  相似文献

基于广义切比雪夫滤波器综合理论,本文设计了一个Ku 波段微带发夹谐振型交叉耦合滤波器。该滤波器的拓扑结构为CQ 型。由于引入非相邻谐振器之间的耦合,在有限频率点处产生传输零点,这样不仅使滤波器具有更好的选择性,而且其结构更加紧凑,尺寸也大大缩小。本文通过HFSS 电磁仿真软件对其进行了优化设计。其仿真结果很好地体现了该滤波器的特性。与同阶数的传统滤波器相比,交叉耦合型滤波器具有更好的带外抑制特性,有较好的工程应用意义。  相似文献

This paper presents a novel concept of a square-shaped dielectric-waveguide resonator, which can easily realize a dielectric-waveguide cross-coupled filter or a dielectric-waveguide dual-mode filter, using the conventional printed circuit board (PCB) process. This planar dielectric-waveguide resonator has a higher Q value than a microstrip resonator. The physical mechanisms of both single- and dual-mode filters are elucidated. Some new coupling structures are developed for undergoing the PCB process. Filter design procedures are detailed. Design curves for the coupling coefficients of internal- and external-coupling structures are determined by full-wave finite-element-method electromagnetic calculations. Measurement results are highly consistent with theory for all trial filters. This study offers an effective means of producing low-cost high-performance planar circuit filters.  相似文献

This paper proposes a novel multifold finite-ground-width coplanar waveguide (CPW) lambda/4 resonator filter that has the capability of realizing attenuation poles by cross coupling of nonadjacent resonators. The newly proposed multifold structures not only greatly shrink the length of a resonator, but also provide a convenient way to implement cross coupling in a filter. The proposed multifold finite-ground-width CPW resonators can have much stronger coupling than that of spiraling and meandering layouts, and any number of folds is possible. Two combline filters are designed and measured with twofold and threefold lambda/4 finite-ground-width CPW resonators. A trisection and a quadruplet generalized Chebyshev filter formed by cross couplings between nonadjacent resonators have been implemented by modifying the layout of the resonator. This letter proposes a new quickly converging technique for the synthesis of coupling matrix of cross-coupled resonator filters. The method formulates the synthesis as a nonlinear least squares problem involving the zeroes and poles of short circuit input and output admittances, as well as eigenvalues of the coupling matrix and its principal sub-matrices. The solution is found via a damped Levenberg-Marquardt method with analytically computed gradients. Numerical tests show that coupling matrices for high order pseudo-elliptical filters can be found in surprisingly few optimization steps.  相似文献

含广义交叉耦合的N个谐振器滤波器,即含源-负载交叉耦合的滤波器能产生N个传输零点,通过给出这种滤波器的等效网络模型和传输函数,设计了两种新颖六边形结构的含源-负载交叉耦合的微带滤波器,一种为对称结构,一种为非对称结构.对其进行了仿真分析,仿真结果与理论值吻合较好.与传统两腔发夹形滤波器相比,这种两腔六边形结构的滤波器尺寸要缩小27.5%,频率选择性更高.  相似文献

为了提高滤波器的阻带衰减,研究了源与负载感性交叉耦合的小型介质滤波器。首次提出一种新概念:将源和负载看作准谐振器。以贴片电感作为源与负载之间、源与第二个谐振器之间的交叉耦合元件,两个准谐振器和两个介质谐振器可构成级联四节(CQ),一个准谐振器和两个介质谐振器可构成级联三节(CT)。分析了传输零点的位置,详细讨论了这种滤波器结构的设计方法。采用介电常数为80的介质陶瓷组装了3个两级介质滤波器,并进行测试,结果表明传输零点的个数和位置与仿真设计相符合。滤波器的体积小,均为14 mm×6.5 mm×10 mm。  相似文献

We propose a general approach to the synthesis of cross-coupled resonator filters using an analytical gradient-based optimization technique. The gradient of the cost function with respect to changes in the coupling elements between the resonators is determined analytically. The topology of the structure is strictly enforced at each step in the optimization thereby eliminating the need for similarity transformations of the coupling matrix. For the calculation of group delays, a simple formula is presented in terms of the coupling matrix. A simple recursion relation for the computation of the generalized Chebychev filtering functions is derived. Numerical results demonstrating the excellent performance of the approach are presented  相似文献

提出用交指型结构实现超宽带(UWB)带通滤波器的小型化,并给出了设计方法。该结构通过宽边耦合实现超宽带滤波器需要的较大耦合系数,并通过加宽带状线谐振器的宽度减少不必要的交叉耦合,简化了滤波器的设计。最终设计了一个中心频率为f0,相对带宽为58%的六阶交指带通滤波器,滤波器尺寸仅为8 mm×11 mm。从仿真结果看,该滤波器保持了传统交指型滤波器阻带特性好,寄生通带远的优点。  相似文献

针对微波带通滤波器小型化、高性能的应用需求,提出使用单模和双模基片集成波导谐振器相结合设计广义切比雪夫带通滤波器.该结构可实现盒型拓扑结构,并且双模基片集成波导谐振器中的主模TE101作为非谐振节点提供一条额外的交叉耦合路径,并能增加一个有限的传输零点;该结构不需要传统负耦合结构就能实现两个有限传输零点,并且该传输零点可以位于通带上方或下方,具有设计灵活的特点.为了进一步提高滤波器的选择性,研究了在四阶滤波器上蚀刻互补开环谐振器设计拓展的盒型拓扑结构滤波器,并实现五阶滤波功能三个有限传输零点.为了验证结构的合理性,设计了两款中心频率为10GHz的对称和非对称响应的四阶滤波器、一款中心频率为5.8GHz的五阶滤波器,并给出相应的含非谐振节点的盒型拓扑结构耦合矩阵进行验证,最后进行加工和测试.耦合矩阵响应、仿真和测试结果一致性较好,表明了该结构设计高性能滤波器的可行性.  相似文献

High isolation and compact size microstrip diplexers designed with common resonator sections have been proposed. By exploiting the variable frequency response of the stepped-impedance resonator, resonators can be shared by the two filter channels of the desired diplexer if their fundamental and the first spurious resonant frequency are properly assigned. Size reduction are, therefore, achieved by introducing a few common resonator sections in the circuit. This concept has been verified by the experimental results of two diplexer circuits. One of the diplexers is composed of two three-pole parallel-coupled bandpass filters and the other is composed of two four-pole cross-coupled bandpass filters, which are formed by only five and six resonators, respectively. Both of them occupy extremely small areas while still keeping good isolations. Good agreements are also achieved between measurement and simulation.  相似文献

Direct-coupled resonator filters in transmission line are discussed. The resonators consist of sections of transmission line coupled either by series capacitances or shunt inductances. Over narrow frequency bands, such filters show characteristics similar to those of lumped-constant filters and their design is straightforward. The design of direct-coupled resonator filters over wide (as well as narrow) frequency bands is presented here using the quarter-wave transformer as a prototype circuit. Several numerical examples (with fractional bandwidths between 10 per cent and 85 per cent) are worked out to illustrate the method. It is shown that the response can be improved by optimizing the line impedances.  相似文献

A novel patch-via-spiral resonator based on the dual-metal-plane configuration is proposed and examined. With the microstrip patch on the top plane serving as a capacitor and linking to the quasi-lumped spiral inductor on the bottom plane through a connecting via, the proposed dual-plane resonator structure located on the opposite sides of the single substrate may form a miniaturized one in the printed-circuit board fabrication. By suitably combining the proposed patch-via-spiral resonators, useful coupled-resonator pairs may be constructed to simultaneously provide electric and magnetic couplings. Based on these coupled-resonator pairs, a second-order bandpass filter with multiple transmission zeros is realized without requiring either the cross-coupled path or the source-load coupling. For design purpose, the equivalent-circuit model is also derived and verified. In this study, a fourth-order patch-via-spiral bandpass filter with both good passband selectivity and miniaturized size of only 22.14 mm times5.08 mm (i.e., 0.188lambdag0times0.043lambdag0) is implemented, where lambdag0 denotes the guided wavelength of the 50-Omega microstrip line at center frequency  相似文献

Smalll-signal magnetic losses due to coupling of the microwave signal to the spinwave manifold in a ferrite circuit under perpendicular pumping may be suppressed by biasing it between the subsidiary and main resonances. This paper describes the realization of two microstrip circulators biased in such a way. These magnetic conditions also coincide with those required to suppress spinwave instability at large-signal level. A device, using a triangular resonator, exhibited no nonlinear loss up to 1500-W peak at which power level thermal breakdown of the circuit metalization occurred both at the impedance step of the quarter-wave transformer and at the apex of the triangular resonator. A similar device using a disk resonator exhibited no nonlinear loss up to 2200-W peak at which power level breakdown of the circuit metalization again took place. A circulator using a disk resonator with a similar material but biased at magnetic saturation displayed nonlinear loss at 80-W peak.  相似文献

A new class of low insertion-loss miniaturized filters using slot-line resonators is proposed. Miniaturization is achieved by terminating the slot line with a double-spiral inductive termination at both ends. Using this miniaturized resonator, both positive and negative couplings may be realized, and therefore, both standard coupled-line and cross-coupled quasi-elliptic filters are realizable. The unloaded Q of these slot-line filters is considerably higher than that of miniaturized microstrip filters of comparable dimensions due to the inherent higher Q of the slot line. To demonstrate the validity of the design procedures and the performance characteristics, two different types of filters were fabricated and tested. One is a four-pole Chebyshev filter and the other is a quasi-elliptic filter where, in each case, the full-wave simulations show very good agreement with measurements.  相似文献

New designs of planar three-resonator bandpass filters with cross coupling having a large variety of frequency characteristics are considered. In addition to better one-sided selectivity, such filters implement symmetric amplitude–frequency characteristics with an attenuation pole at each side of the passband. These filters can also have constant delay time in the passband. Concatenation of the proposed three-resonator filters leads to multiresonator filters with high selectivity determined by two attenuation poles at each side of the passband. It is found that the type of connection of the middle resonator in the circuit of a three-resonator filter with cross coupling results in substantial differences in amplitude–frequency characteristics. The results of modeling of different frequency characteristics are presented. It is shown that filters have small dimensions, which are comparable to overall dimensions of microwave ceramic filters. For example, dimensions of a three-resonator stripline filter designed for a frequency of 1.9 GHz are 9.4 × 5 × 2 mm for the permittivity of the filter material εr = 92 and dimensions of a six-resonator filter are 10 × 9.4 × 2 mm.  相似文献

A direct synthesis technique of a new class of bandstop coupled resonator elliptic filters is presented. Two different coupling schemes, which both include source-load coupling are used. The first coupling and routing scheme is the standard folded structure used in implementing bandpass elliptic filters with N transmission zeros using N resonators. The second coupling scheme is identical to the multipath parallel structure, which was recently introduced for the synthesis of fully elliptic bandpass filters. In both cases, the source and load are directly coupled by an inverter in order to generate the required transmission zeros. It is shown that, for each coupling scheme, two distinct solutions that are not related by a similarity transformation exist. Furthermore, the two solutions both have realistic coupling coefficients in contrast to the bandpass case where only one solution, in general, is practical. It is also shown that the same coupling scheme can implement pseudoelliptic bandstop filters with N/sub z/ reflection zeros where 0/spl les/N/sub z//spl les/N.  相似文献

声能是环境中普遍存在的一种能量形式,如何收集并应用这一能量成为当下研究热点。介绍了亥姆霍兹谐振腔、声晶体谐振腔、四分之一波长谐振腔以及其他非腔体结构声能收集系统的结构及其优化方案。实验结果表明,与亥姆霍兹谐振腔相比,使用同等尺寸的声晶体谐振腔能获得更高的能量收集效率,而四分之一波长谐振腔能以更小的体积收集同样的声能。另外,结构优化和耦合设计可以极大地提升能量收集效率。许多非腔体结构的设计也有着不错的应用前景。  相似文献

In this letter, a formulation based on the vector fitting is applied to extract the equivalent circuit model from the frequency response of lossy cross-coupled microwave filters. By approximating the lossy response with short-circuit admittance parameters in partial fractional expansion form, the proposed method can evaluate the unloaded quality factor of resonators and extract the transversal coupling matrix simultaneously. The methodology of the vector fitting can identify the poles and residues of the short-circuit admittance parameters even when the poles are on the complex plane. And the extracted transversal coupling matrix can further transform into the prescribed form corresponding to the physical layout. The proposed method can be used in the tuning process of filter designs where the extraction of a coupling matrix is essential. A new class of cross-coupled planar microwave filters using microstrip hairpin resonators is introduced. The realization of bath the canonical and the cascaded quadruplet (CQ) filters is feasible. Coupling characteristics of four basic coupling structures encountered in this class of filters are investigated in the light of full-wave electromagnetic (EM) simulations.
