In this paper, we study a quadratic stabilizability problem via switched observer for uncertain continuous‐time switched linear systems in the sense that the subsystem's matrices are represented as a polytopic linear combination of vertex matrices. Firstly, sufficient conditions for polytopic uncertain continuous‐time switched linear systems to be quadratically stabilizable via state feedback are summarized. Next, sufficient conditions for polytopic uncertain switched linear systems to be quadratically stabilizable via switched observer are given under the assumption that output matrices of subsystems have no uncertainties. Further, a numerical example is also investigated.  相似文献

This paper will investigate global exponential stability analysis for a class of switched positive nonlinear systems under minimum dwell time switching, whose nonlinear functions for each subsystem are constrained in a sector field by two odd symmetric piecewise linear functions and whose system matrices for each subsystem are Metzler. A class of multiple time-varying Lyapunov functions is constructed to obtain the computable sufficient conditions on the stability of such switched nonlinear systems within the framework of minimum dwell time switching. All present conditions can be solved by linear/nonlinear programming techniques. An example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed result.   相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of uniformly asymptotical stability (UAS) and stabilisation of planar switched linear systems using LaSalle's invariance principle of switched systems. First, we show that a common weak quadratic Lyapunov function (WQLF) is enough to assure the UAS of a switched linear system with stable modes. Then the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of common WQLF are obtained. Secondly, we consider the problem of uniformly asymptotical stabilisation (UASZ) of single-input planar switched linear systems. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the closed-loop system with proper feedback to share a common WQLF are presented. It is also proved that a common WQLF is enough to assure the UAS of the closed-loop system.  相似文献

This paper applies the concept of superstability to switched linear systems as a particular case of linear time-varying systems. A generalised concept of superstability, applied to complex matrices, and extended superstability, is introduced in order to obtain a new result for guaranteeing the asymptotic stability of a switched system under arbitrary switching. The relation between extended superstable and stable simultaneously triangularizable sets of matrices is also discussed. It is shown that stable triangularizable matrices are a proper subset of extended superstable ones, pointing out that the presented stability result is a generalisation of the previous well-known stability theorems to a broader class of switched dynamical systems.  相似文献

We present a sufficient condition for asymptotic stability of a switched linear system in terms of the Lie algebra generated by the individual matrices. Namely, if this Lie algebra is solvable, then the switched system is exponentially stable for arbitrary switching. In fact, we show that any family of linear systems satisfying this condition possesses a quadratic common Lyapunov function. We also discuss the implications of this result for switched nonlinear systems.  相似文献

Inspired by the idea of multiple Lyapunov functions and the average dwell time, we address the stability analysis of nonautonomous continuous‐time switched systems. First, we investigate nonautonomous continuous‐time switched nonlinear systems and successively propose sufficient conditions for their (uniform) stability, global (uniform) asymptotic stability, and global (uniform) exponential stability, in which an indefinite scalar function is utilized to release the nonincreasing requirements of the classical multiple Lyapunov functions. Afterwards, by using multiple Lyapunov functions of quadratic form, we obtain the corresponding sufficient conditions for (uniform) stability, global (uniform) asymptotic stability, and global exponential stability of nonautonomous switched linear systems. Finally, we consider the computation issue of our current results for a special class of nonautonomous switched systems (ie, rational nonautonomous switched systems), associated with two illustrative examples.  相似文献

This article studies the stability problem of discrete-time positive switched linear systems by introducing a nonzero elements chain method. Compared to existing works, the highlight of this article is reflected in the inclusiveness of the subsystem, that is, each subsystem is allowed to be stable, marginally stable or even unstable. Some sufficient conditions depending on the characteristics of system matrices and the time-dependent switching signals are established, so as to guarantee the exponential stability of positive switched linear systems. In addition, the main result is extended to the case of time-varying delay. At last, the superiority of the obtained results is well verified by numerical examples.  相似文献

This paper investigates stability and stabilization of two‐dimensional switched linear time‐invariant (LTI) systems with potentially unstable focus. For the case that the origin is a single common focus of all subsystems, we first give continuous positive definite functions related only to the elements of subsystems' state matrices. Then, based on the continuous positive definite functions obtained, this paper proposes several sufficient conditions of stability/asymptotic stability/instability of the kind of switched LTI systems. By means of the stability results proposed, global asymptotic stabilizing controls (GASC), global asymptotic stabilizing switching paths (GASSP) and corresponding algorithms are designed for two‐dimensional switched LTI systems with focus. Finally, two illustrative examples and numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the new stability and stabilization results obtained in this paper.  相似文献

In this note we consider the stability preserving properties of diagonal Padé approximations to the matrix exponential. We show that while diagonal Padé approximations preserve quadratic stability when going from continuous-time to discrete-time, the converse is not true. We discuss the implications of this result for discretizing switched linear systems. We also show that for continuous-time switched systems which are exponentially stable, but not quadratically stable, a Padé approximation may not preserve stability.  相似文献

In this paper, a new approach for stability analysis of time‐dependent switched linear systems is proposed. System equivalence is the main idea in this new approach, which derives a switched discrete linear parameter‐varying system from the switched continuous‐time linear switched system with interval dwell time, and the stability properties of the two corresponding systems are proved to be equivalent. Then, by applying a quadratic Lyapunov function approach for the equivalent switched discrete system, the stability of the switched continuous‐time linear system can be established without checking any average dwell time condition. Finally the computation complexity is analyzed, and mode incidence matrix is introduced to reduce the computation cost.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider quadratic stabilizability via state feedback for both continuous-time and discrete-time switched linear systems that are composed of polytopic uncertain subsystems. By state feedback, we mean that the switchings among subsystems are dependent on system states. For continuous-time switched linear systems, we show that if there exists a common positive definite matrix for stability of all convex combinations of the extreme points which belong to different subsystem matrices, then the switched system is quadratically stabilizable via state feedback. For discrete-time switched linear systems, we derive a quadratic stabilizability condition expressed as matrix inequalities with respect to a family of non-negative scalars and a common positive definite matrix. For both continuous-time and discrete-time switched systems, we propose the switching rules by using the obtained common positive definite matrix.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A novel convex necessary and sufficient condition for state-feedback exponential stabilisability in discrete-time switched linear systems, whose modes are described by rank-one matrices, is reported and proved in the present communication. A switched linear system, of this class, is shown to be state-feedback exponentially stabilisable if and only if a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) associated to the system is feasible. And the solvability of this set of LMIs associated to the system is shown to be equivalent to that of a set of (standard) linear inequalities associated to the system. It is also proved that each solution to this set of LMIs (associated to the system) yields, through explicit formulas, to an exponentially stabilising state-feedback mapping, and also to a Lyapunov function for the exponential stability of the trivial solution of the corresponding closed-loop system (obtained by means of that feedback mapping). And such a Lyapunov function is always represented by a number of quadratic functionals that equals the number of modes composing the switched system.  相似文献

Looped-functionals have been shown to be relevant for the analysis of a wide variety of systems. However, the conditions obtained in previous papers on the analysis of sampled-data, impulsive and switched systems have only been shown to be sufficient for the characterisation of their associated discrete-time stability conditions. We prove here that these conditions are also necessary. This result is derived for a wider class of linear systems, referred to as impulsive pseudo-periodic systems, that encompass periodic, impulsive, sampled-data and switched systems as special cases.  相似文献

Stability analysis of linear periodically time-varying systems via integral quadratic constraints is extended to the problem of control design. A full-state feedback controller that satisfies exponential stability and -gain disturbance attenuation from an external disturbance to a controlled output is designed for linear systems with periodically time-dependent system matrices. The main result relies on dual forms of certain integral quadratic constraints. The solvability conditions for the problem are cast as a set of finite-dimensional linear matrix inequalities and thus, they are easily solvable. Moreover, the best possible disturbance attenuation level can be obtained as a convex problem.  相似文献

研究等时切换下线性切换系统的稳定性及鲁棒稳定性问题。文中首先提出等时切换的概念。然后利用LMI方法推导出等时切换下线性系统稳定及鲁棒稳定的充要条件,使用这两个充要条件可以将文中研究的复杂问题转化为相应的易处理的线性系统的问题,再利用线性系统已有的结论使问题得到解决。使用上述结果,本文为系统设计了鲁棒控制器。文中还给出实现线性切换系统等时切换的具体方法,这使等时切换方法可以真正应用于工程实践。大量仿真证实文中所提出的方法简洁、有效。  相似文献

In this note, we deal with the exponential stability and stabilization problems for quadratic discrete‐time systems with time delay. By using the quadratic Lyapunov function and a so called ‘Finsler's lemma', delay‐independent sufficient conditions for local stability and stabilization for quadratic discrete‐time systems with time delay are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Based on these sufficient conditions, iterative linear matrix inequality algorithms are proposed for maximizing the stability regions of the systems. Finally, two examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the methods presented in this paper.  相似文献

In this paper, several equivalent stability conditions for switched linear systems with dwell time are presented. Both continuous‐time and discrete‐time cases are considered. For the continuous‐time case, the conditions that are convex in system matrices are presented in terms of infinite‐dimensional linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which are not numerically testable. Then, by adopting the sum of square (SOS) and piecewise linear approach, computable conditions are formulated in terms of SOS program and LMIs. Compared to the literature, less conservative results can be obtained through solving these conditions for the same polynomial degree or discretized order. For the discrete‐time case, the stability conditions, which are convex in system matrices, are numerically testable. The convexity comes at the price of increment of computational complexity. Furthermore, by adopting the convexification approach, sufficient stability conditions of switched linear systems with polytopic uncertainties are derived, both for continuous‐time and discrete‐time cases. At last, several examples are given to demonstrate the correctness and advantages of our results.  相似文献
