In most industrial fluidization units, two- or three-stage cyclone systems are used to clean the product gases. To return the solids to the bed, these cyclones are fitted with diplegs. By pass of gas from the bed through the dipleg is partially overcome by the back pressure build-up in the dipleg and by adding a trickle valve at the bottom of the dipleg. Diplegs of primary cyclones, operating at a high solid loading behave differently from diplegs of secondary and tertiary cyclones which operate at low solid loading. Both types have been investigated by pressure drop measurements, visual observation and by measurements of the air flow rate flowing up the riser. The primary dipleg was also studied using electrical capacitance tomography. The results are reported hereafter and will give a first indication towards the right design of the dipleg and the selection of the trickle valve. The influence of gas flow in the dipleg on the conversion in a catalytic fluidized bed reactor is found to be negligible.  相似文献

根据粘附性颗粒在流化过程中形成的聚团具有较宽粒径分布并因此导致大聚团在流化床中沉积和死床的问题,提出了循环流化床的锥形回料系统设计. 该回料系统包括两部分:锥形料腿和带辅助进气的V型阀. 实验证明,锥形料腿通过提供变化的表观流化气速,克服了流化聚团沉积死床等现象;而V型阀的辅助进气,对于保证V型阀顺利输送粘附性颗粒具有关键性作用. 借助这种回料系统,实现了高粘附性超细CaCO3颗粒在循环流化床的稳定快速流化. 从提升管内部拍摄的照片显示,尽管提升管采用较高的流化气体速度,但超细CaCO3颗粒仍然是以聚团的形式被流化. 对在提升管不同高度采集的聚团分析表明,处于快速流化状态的CaCO3聚团的直径远小于传统流化床中聚团的直径,并且在提升管高度方向聚团直径没有较大的变化. 同时实验还显示,提升管轴向空隙率呈S型分布,而径向则体现环-核结构,具有典型的快速床特征.  相似文献

在Φ800mm×12000mm流化床装置上,用多点压力测量仪对双气路循环流化床各部分的压力分布进行了实验。实验结果表明,颗粒单循环回路的压力平衡图与装置的运行状态、颗粒的循环量密切相关。整个颗粒的循环回路压力曲线呈双8字缠绕式,随质量流率的减少形状发生畸变;补气循环回路与不补气循环回路的压力分布相似,但料腿沉降段的压力降低;提升管内没有明显的稀密相交界面,而料腿内存在着稀密相的交界面,料腿下部的高密度移动床是保证流化床正常运转的必要条件。  相似文献

在φ800mm×12000mm流化床试验装置上,用多点压力测量仪测量料腿内的静压分布。试验结果表明,二级料腿内气固两相流的流态一般由入口旋转段、稀相下落段和下部密相段3部分组成,料腿内的料封高度随料腿两端负压差的增大而升高,颗粒质量流率对轴向空隙率影响明显,翼阀浸没在密相床时颗粒流动稳定性和流动失流化的机会都增加。  相似文献

溢流管是多层流化床的关键构件。本文设计的由下料料腿和锥斗组成的气控式锥形溢流管,由于物料在料腿中处于流态化状态,在锥斗中以气固顺流浓相向上输送,因此,这种溢流管可以防止物料在料腿中的架桥和喷料。 试验中测定了多气源和双气源两种气控式多层床的流动特性,包括各床层和溢流管压降以及固体停留时间分布。在回收低浓度二氯乙烷的中间工厂试验中,采用了具有同心圆的双气源多层流化床,获得以下主要结果: 吸附率>97%,排放气浓度<25mg/m~3,活性炭损失<0.1%。 这种能使固体物料由高压区输至低压区,或从低压区输至高压区的气控锥形溢流管结构,亦可用于旋风器料腿的返尘以及在循环系统中固体物料的连续加、排装置。  相似文献

The downcomer is the key component of a multi-stage fluidized bed.A pneumatically controlleddowncomer has been devised,consisting of a fully fluidized dipleg followed by a conical spout for upwarddischarge in dense phase.Such a design has been found to insure against bridging of solids in descent andagainst spouting of solids from a lower layer caused by gas by-passing.In experimental investigations,flow characteristics are measured including the pressure drops of thedifferent fluidized beds and of the downcomers for various gas and solids flow rates as well as the solidsresidence time distribution,operating either with a multiplicity of gas sources for the various downcomersor with only two gas sources.In a particular design,a multi-stage ftuidized bed with dual gas supply,inwhich one half is incorporated centrally in the other,has been tested on pilot scale for recovering solventfrom low concentration ethylene dichloride streams of a plant waste gas.Main test results obtained wereas follows:adsorption rate>97%concentration of waste gas<25 mg/m~3active carbon loss<0.1%This kind of conical downcomer in which the solids arc either transported from a high- to a low-pressure region,or from a low- to a high-pressure region,is also used to control the solids discharge ofcyclone diplcgs or the feeding and discharging in other solids circulation systems.  相似文献

By using mixing intensification involving high solids concentration as a means to achieve process intensification for the mineral process industry is discussed here. Improving agitator energy efficiency is essential for operating at high solids concentrations. It is shown that improved agitator energy efficiency can be achieved by removing baffles and using higher power number impellers at high solids loadings. Power consumption (50–80%) reductions were demonstrated in the experiments. It is also suggested that slurry stratification in tanks can be used to boost either solids residence time or slurry mass flow. Basic equations related to solids residence time and solids throughput are presented for guidance toward minerals process intensification. This paper presents the effects of solid loading on the performance of a cyclone with pneumatic extraction of solids. The cyclone is a non‐conventional design, especially used for hot‐gas cleaning applications such as pressurized fluidized bed combustors (PFBC). A scaled‐down cold‐flow model was employed for the research. Experiments were conducted at 9–14 m/s inlet gas velocities, inlet solid loadings ranging from 30 to 230 g/kg gas, and bottom gas extraction percentages from 0.3 to 1.5%. Experimental results of pressure drop resistance coefficients and collection efficiency were compared with literature predictions. At PFBC operating conditions, cyclone geometry and solid concentration are the main parameters influencing cyclone pressure drop and collection efficiency. The vortex penetration in dipleg causes lower pressure drop values and higher collection efficiencies than predicted. These parameters can be suitably predicted for PFBC cyclones by introducing a modified penetration length in Muschelknautz's model [1]. For the present cyclone design, a new correlation of pressure drop, including the influence of solid loading, is proposed. A new method for detecting cyclone fouling, not previously addressed, is also presented, based on the evolution of the pressure drop resistance coefficient. An enhanced separation efficiency has been found, related to collection efficiency, which is especially important for particle sizes below 10 μm revealing agglomeration effects.  相似文献

Accurate solid concentration measurement plays a key role in the process industry. Measurements analyzed offline can be used to estimate process efficiencies, to identify problems in a flow, and to validate computational models. Online measurements can be used for active control. Electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) is a unique measuring technique with great potential in multiphase flow measurement. Experimental studies are carried out on a solid concentration measurement in a cyclone separator dipleg, using ECT. In this experiment eight electrodes are selected for the ECT sensor that is placed on the straight tube of the dipleg. The fluctuating characteristics according to the screw feeder and the effect of the airflow rate from the top of the cyclone are analyzed. The feasibility and reliability of the method are verified by the experimental results.  相似文献

研究考察了催化裂化沉降器内两端敞开型旋风分离器内油气流动规律.用CFX软件采用DSM模型进行了数值模拟,并与用五孔探针测试的流场进行了比较,表明DSM模型有良好的预测精度.在此基础上,采用标量输运方程研究了气体在旋风分离器内的停留时间分布规律.实验和模拟结果均表明,该类旋风分离器内流场与常规旋风分离器的有很大的不同,升气管和料腿均存在回流区,升气管回流区最大可波及分离空间,对分离空间流场有很大干扰.气体示踪模拟结果表明,由入口进入旋风分离器,由升气管、料腿排出的气体的停留时间近似呈对数正态分布;升气管、料腿回流区内气体停留时间呈双峰分布;升气管回流区的存在可使总气体平均停留时间增大约5%~10%;料腿直径的减小以及灰斗的存在均可增大由升气管排出的气量并使升气管、料腿回流区大幅减小,进而减小粗旋风分离器内气体总平均停留时间.  相似文献

Up to now the prediction of separation efficiency for disk stack separators is largely based on the concept of equivalent clarification area, short Σ-theory, firstly published in 1949. An improved analytical model with a closed-form solution is presented in which the assumptions of uniform flow and unhindered solids transport are dropped. The contributions of distributor and solids holding space to the total separation efficiency are considered. The model is validated by comprehensive experiments with different geometry parameters and particle systems. The results are presented in a universal form for a combination of dimensionless numbers.  相似文献

In particular, the effects of granular solids flow rate (15.2-206 kg/h) and screw speed (10.8-28 rpm) on the residence time distribution (RTD) were studied using sand as the model material. The RTD was measured using a dynamic step change in the solids flow rate. Parameters such as solids holdup, degree of fullness, mean residence time, and uniformity of the discharge flow were studied. The solids holdup and hence the degree of fullness was found to decrease with increase in the screw speed and decrease with the solids flow rate. The mean residence time was found to decrease with an increase in the screw speed, as expected. The screw speed and the solids flow rate strongly affected the discharge uniformity. An optimum value of the degree of fullness was observed with regard to the solids flow rate. Over the operating range examined, the solids flow pattern was close to plug flow, as indicated by high values of N and Pe number.  相似文献

Flow phenomena in the exit zone of a circulating fluidized bed   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
An experimental investigation of the gas and solids flow in a pilot-scale circulating fluidized bed (CFB) cold model with two different abrupt exit configurations (L-shape and extended top) has been carried out. Measurements of axial pressure profiles, high-speed video images of the flow phenomena at the wall as well as local optical probe measurements inside the exit zone are presented. Contrary to published results obtained in bench-scale CFB risers the axial profiles of the apparent solids volume concentration obtained by pressure measurements showed no indication of an increased solids hold-up in the vicinity of the exit, which confirms the conclusion by Pugsley et al. (Can. J. Chem. Eng. 75 (1997) 1001) that this is a scale effect. The local probe measurements showed the well-known core–annulus flow structure prevailing until the riser top. In the vicinity of the exit this flow structure is superimposed by a strong horizontal velocity component directed to the exit duct. In comparison to the conventional L-shaped abrupt exit the extended top does not increase the solids inventory in the riser.  相似文献

在大型流化床装置上,采用动态压力传感器测定了翼阀置于流化床的稀相空间和密相空间两种情况时料腿内的动态压力。通过对二级料腿稳定排料和周期性排料的数据分析得出,料腿内动态压力的变化与料腿内颗粒质量流率的大小密切相关,翼阀埋没在密相时料腿内的压力波动比较平缓,料腿的周期性排料时压力波动频率约0.01Hz,料腿内稀相段压力波幅比密相段略小,料腿内压力波动的原因是由于气固两相在快速下行过程中存在密度差和速度差。  相似文献

本文介绍了一种固体细颗粒循环料腿的自力平衡结构模型(单气路式)及其工作原理,对该结构模型进行了流体力学分析,并分析了各种因素对自力平衡效果的影响趋势。在冷态模型装置上进行的实验测定验证了料腿的自平衡效果,并获得了与理论分析相一致的结论。由于该结构简单,无机械运动部件,并且易满足耐高温、耐高压及耐磨损等性能要求,特别是它能在较宽的工作范围内使料腿自力稳定,它的应用可望改善固体料循环控制的可操作性,从而对特定的工作系统有利。  相似文献

An experimental study of convective heat transfer from hot air to the solid charge and walls in a non-fired rotary kiln is reported. Ottawa sand was heated by passing it counter-current to a flow of preheated air in a 2.5 m × 0.19 m I.D. rotary kiln. Axial temperature profiles of gas, wall and solids were measured. Local and average convective heat transfer coefficients from gas to solids and from gas to wall were determined assuming plug flow of gas and solids. Solid feed rates to 1750 kg/m2 h and air rates to 3300 kg/m2 h were investigated at rotational speeds to 6 r/min, holdup ratios to 17% and gas temperatures from 350–590 K. The gas/solids convective coefficient was found to depend on the gas through-put and to a lesser extent on solids holdup and rotational speed. Over the range tested, the angle of kiln inclination, solids throughput and particle size showed no significant effect on heat transfer. Gas/wall coefficients were about a factor of ten below gas/solid coefficients. Heat transfer results are compared to the limited data available in the literature, and to commonly used equations. Correlations of the experimental data on gas/solids, and gas/wall coefficients are presented; data from the literature on the wall/solids heat transfer coefficient are summarized.  相似文献

In this work, we investigate the radial flow structure in gas-solids downer using Euler-Euler computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models. Solids are modeled as pseudo-fluid using kinetic theory of granular flow. In addition to the mass and momentum conservation equations, transport equation for fluctuating kinetic energy of the solids (modeled as granular temperature) is solved. The main focus of this work is the systematic investigation of the most suitable closures for the various force interactions in the system of interest. Results are presented for mean solids velocity, volume fraction, granular temperature and slip velocities for various closure forms. Sensitivity of the predicted results to the choice of closure forms is presented. Finally we emphasize the idea of matching slip velocities and the trends thereof with solids fraction as the key to developing a robust CFD model which has predictive capability over a wide variety of flow conditions.  相似文献

The performance of a fluidized bed ash cooler was studied using a cold experiment bench. The air flow rate, particle size of the solids and air distributor type are considered to be the key parameters of the operation of a fluidized bed ash cooler (FBAC). It was found that the amount of fluidizing air directly affects the conveying of ash and that they have a quadratic relationship. An acceptable particle size distribution for the solids is d50 < 450 μm. Furthermore, the experiment reveals that the height of the weir in the FBAC does not affect the conveying of the ash flow. The influence of injected air on the transportation of ash is not significant. Optimal air nozzle dimensions are presented.  相似文献
