Two series of supported Pd catalysts were synthesized on new mesoporous–macroporous supports (ZrO2, TiO2) labelled M (Zr and Ti). The deposition of palladium was carried out by wet impregnation on the calcined TiO2 and ZrO2 supports at 400 °C (Pd/Zr4, Pd/Ti4) and 600 °C (Pd/Zr6, Pd/Ti6) and followed by a calcination at 400 °C for 4 h. The pre-reduced Pd/MX catalysts were investigated for the chlorobenzene total oxidation and their catalytic properties where compared to those of a reference catalyst Pd/Ti-Ref (TiO2 from Huntsman Tioxide recalcined at 500 °C) and of a palladium supported on the fresh mesoporous–macroporous TiO2 (Pd/Ti). Based on the activity determined by T50, the Pd/Ti and Pd/Ti4 catalysts have been found to be more active than the reference one. Moreover activity decreased owing to the sequence: Pd/TiX  Pd/ZrX and in each series when the temperature of calcination of the support was raised. The overall results clearly showed that the activity was dependant on the nature of the support. The better activity of Pd/TiX compared to Pd/ZrX was likely due to a better reducibility of the TiO2 support (Ti4+ into Ti3+) leading to an enhancement of the oxygen mobility. Production of polychlorinated benzenes PhClx (x = 2–6) and of Cl2 was also observed. Nevertheless at 500 °C the selectivity in HCl was higher than 90% for the best catalysts.  相似文献

In this paper, the CuO/TiO2 catalysts prepared by the deposition–precipitation (DP) method were extensively investigated for CO oxidation reaction. The structural characters of the CuO/TiO2 catalysts were comparatively investigated by TG-DTA, XRD, and XPS measurements. It was shown that the catalytic behavior of CuO/TiO2 catalysts greatly depended on the TiO2-support calcination temperature, the CuO loading amount and the CuO/TiO2 catalysts calcination temperature. CuO supported on the anatase phase of TiO2-support calcined at 400 °C showed better catalytic activity than those supported on TiO2 calcined at 500 and 700 °C. Among all our investigated catalysts with CuO loading from 2% to 12%, the catalyst with 8 wt% CuO loading exhibited the highest catalytic activity. The optimum calcination temperature of the CuO/TiO2 catalysts was 300 °C. The XRD results indicated that the catalytic activity of the CuO/TiO2 catalysts was related to the crystal phase and particle size of TiO2 support and CuO active component.  相似文献

The NOx storage and reduction (NSR) catalysts Pt/K/TiO2–ZrO2 were prepared by an impregnation method. The techniques of XRD, NH3-TPD, CO2-TPD, H2-TPR and in situDRIFTS were employed to investigate their NOx storage behavior and sulfur-resisting performance. It is revealed that the storage capacity and sulfur-resisting ability of these catalysts depend strongly on the calcination temperature of the support. The catalyst with theist support calcined at 500 °C, exhibits the largest specific surface area but the lowest storage capacity. With increasing calcination temperature, the NOx storage capacity of the catalyst improves greatly, but the sulfur-resisting ability of the catalyst decreases. In situ DRIFTS results show that free nitrate species and bulk sulfates are the main storage and sulfation species, respectively, for all the catalysts studied. The CO2-TPD results indicate that the decomposition performance of K2CO3 is largely determined by the surface property of the TiO2–ZrO2 support. The interaction between the surface hydroxyl of the support and K2CO3 promotes the decomposition of K2CO3 to form –OK groups bound to the support, leading to low NOx storage capacity but high sulfur-resisting ability, while the interaction between the highly dispersed K2CO3 species and Lewis acid sites gives rise to high NOx storage capacity but decreased sulfur-resisting ability. The optimal calcination temperature of TiO2–ZrO2 support is 650 °C.  相似文献

The TiO2 support materials were synthesized by a chemical vapor condensation (CVC) method and the subsequent MnOx/TiO2 catalysts were prepared by an impregnation method. Catalytic oxidation of toluene on the MnOx/TiO2 catalysts was examined with ozone. These catalysts had a smaller particle size (9.1 nm) and a higher surface area (299.5 m2 g−1) compared to MnOx/P25-TiO2 catalysts. The catalysts show high catalytic activity with the ozone oxidation of toluene even at low temperature. As a result, the synthesized support material by the CVC method gave more active catalyst.  相似文献

Ru-based catalysts supported on Ta2O5–ZrO2 and Nb2O5–ZrO2 are studied in the partial oxidation of methane at 673–873 K. Supports with different Ta2O5 or Nb2O5 content were prepared by a sol–gel method, and RuCl3 and RuNO(NO3)3 were used as precursors to prepare the catalysts (ca. 2 wt.% Ru). At 673 K high selectivity to CO2 was found. An increase of temperature up to 773 K produced an increase in the selectivity to syngas (H2/CO = 2.2–3.1), and this is related with the transformation of RuO2 to metallic Ru as was determined from XRD and XPS results. At 873 K and with co-fed CO2 an increase of the catalytic activity and CO selectivity was found. A TOF value of 5.7 s−1 and H2/CO ratio ca. 1 was achieved over Ru(Cl)/6TaZr. Catalytic results are discussed as a function of the support composition and characteristics of Ru-based phases.  相似文献

This paper reports the catalytic performance of a PtRu/ZrO2 catalyst modified with Na and Mg in an oxidative steam reforming of ethanol (OSRE) reaction tested in the temperature range of 300–400 °C. The results show that the PtRuMg1/ZrO2 catalyst requires higher temperatures (TR ~ 400 °C) to achieve complete conversion than either the PtRuNa1/ZrO2 or PtRu/ZrO2 catalysts (TR ~ 300 °C). Also, an apparent coke deposit is found on the PtRuMg1/ZrO2 catalyst. The preferential PtRuNa1/ZrO2 catalyst shows active at temperatures as low as 300 °C and produces less CO (< 0.2%) at temperatures lower than 340 °C.  相似文献

Partial oxidative gasification of n-hexadecane (n-C16) and organosolv-lignin (lignin) was studied by use of a batch type reactor in supercritical water: 673 K, 0.52 cm−3 of water density (40 MPa of water pressure at 673 K), and 0.3 of O/C ratio for the n-C16 experiments; 673 K, 0.35 cm−3 of water density (30 MPa of water pressure at 673 K), and 1.0 of O/C ratio for the lignin experiments. The experiments without O2 were also conducted for lignin (lignin decomposition). For all the cases (n-C16 partial oxidation, lignin decomposition, lignin partial oxidation), NaOH or zirconia (ZrO2) was added in the system as catalysts. Through n-C16 studies, the catalytic effect of NaOH and ZrO2 on partial oxidation in supercritical water were examined. In the case of lignin partial oxidation, we studied the possibility of partial oxidation in supercritical water for gasification technique of wastes. The yield of H2 from n-C16 and lignin with zirconia was twice as same as that without catalyst at the same condition. The H2 yield with NaOH was 4 times higher than that without catalyst. Thus, a base catalyst has a positive effect on partial oxidation of n-C16 and lignin to produce H2. The catalytic effect of NaOH and ZrO2 was found to be enhancement of decomposition of intermediate (aldehyde and ketone) into CO, through n-C16 studies. In the case of lignin studies, the enhancement of decomposition of the carbonyl compounds by catalytic effect of NaOH and ZrO2 inhibit char formation and promotes CO and thus H2 formation.  相似文献

(Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TiO3xHfO2 [BNBT–xHfO2] lead-free ceramics were prepared using the conventional solid-state reaction method. Effects of HfO2 content on their microstructures and electrical properties were systematically studied. A pure perovskite phase was observed in all the ceramics with x=0–0.07 wt%. Adding optimum HfO2 content can induce dense microstructures and improve their piezoelectric properties, and a high depolarization temperature was also obtained. The ceramics with x=0.03 wt% possess optimum electrical properties (i.e., d33~168 pC/N, kp~32.1%, Qm~130, εr~715, tan δ~0.026, and Td~106 °C, showing that HfO2-modified BNBT ceramics are promising materials for piezoelectric applications.  相似文献

Cu/ZnO/ZrO2 catalysts were prepared by a route of solid-state reaction and tested for the synthesis of methanol from CO2 hydrogenation. The effects of calcination temperature on the physicochemical properties of as-prepared catalysts were investigated by N2 adsorption, XRD, TEM, N2O titration and H2-TPR techniques. The results show that the dispersion of copper species decreases with the increase in calcination temperature. Meanwhile, the phase transformation of zirconia from tetragonal to monoclinic was observed. The highest activity was achieved over the catalyst calcined at 400 °C. This method is a promising alternative for the preparation of highly efficient Cu/ZnO/ZrO2 catalysts.  相似文献

Layered metastable lithium manganese oxides, Li2/3[Ni1/3−xMn2/3−yMx+y]O2 (x = y = 1/36 for M = Al, Co, and Fe and x = 2/36, y = 0 for M = Mg) were prepared by the ion exchange of Li for Na in P2-Na2/3[Ni1/3−xMn2/3−yMx+y]O2 precursors. The Al and Co doping produced the T#2 structure with the space group Cmca. On the other hand, the Fe and Mg doped samples had the O6 structure with space group R-3m. Electron diffraction revealed the 1:2 type ordering within the Ni1/3−xMn2/3−yMx+yO2 slab. It was found that the stacking sequence and electrochemical performance of the Li cells containing T#2-Li2/3[Ni1/3Mn2/3]O2 were affected by the doping with small amounts of Al, Co, Fe, and Mg. The discharge capacity of the Al doped sample was around 200 mAh g−1 in the voltage range between 2.0 and 4.7 V at the current density of 14.4 mA g−1 along with a good capacity retention. Moreover, for the Al and Co doped and undoped oxides, the irreversible phase transition of the T#2 into the O2 structure was observed during the initial lithium deintercalation.  相似文献

Pyrolysis gasoline upgrading by hydrogenation and ring opening was investigated over highly loaded Ni catalysts supported on amorphous silica-alumina and incorporating promoters as Pd, seeking a higher aromatic reduction of this feedstock in order to meet stringent fuel regulations. The effect of Ni loading and Pd component on the activity of those systems was evaluated in a fixed bed reactor under the following operating conditions: T = 573 and 673 K, H2:PyGas molar ratio = 10, P = 5.0 MPa, WHSV = 4 h−1. The catalyst properties, measured by several characterization techniques (ICP-AES, XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms, TPR, H2-TPD, CO chemisorption, XPS, FTIR spectroscopy of adsorbed pyridine and NH3-TPD), were related to their catalytic activity and selectivity. Interestingly, the increase in Ni loading from 24.4 to 33.2 Ni wt.% has a negative effect on both hydrogenation and ring opening activities, as it causes a drop in the BET surface area and a decrease in metal-support interaction, with a negative bearing on catalyst stability. On the other hand, the addition of Pd has a positive effect for hydrogenation, linked with the higher electronegativity of Pd0 species compared to those of Ni0, as well as with a greater stability of Pd-promoted catalysts during on-stream conditions. A linear correlation has been found between the total amount of desorbed H2, as determined from H2-TPD experiments on freshly reduced catalysts, and the initial turnover frequency.  相似文献

(BaxPb1−x)(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 (BPZN; x = 0.06–0.1) relaxor ferroelectric ceramics produced using a reaction-sintering process were investigated. Without any calcination involved, the mixture of raw materials was pressed and sintered directly. BPZN ceramics of 100% perovskite phase were obtained. Highly dense BPZN ceramics with a density higher than 98.5% of theoretical density could be obtained. Maximum dielectric constant Kmax 13,500 (at 75 °C), 19,600 (at 50 °C) and 14,800 (at 28 °C) at 1 kHz could be obtained in 6BPZN, 8BPZN and 10BPZN, respectively. Dielectric maximum temperature (Tmax) in BPZN ceramics via reaction-sintering process is lower than BPZN ceramics prepared via B-site precursor route.  相似文献

yPb(In1/2Nb1/2)O3-(1 − x − y)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 (yPIN-(1 − x − y)PMN-xPT) polycrystalline ceramics with morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) compositions were synthesized using columbite precursor method. X-ray diffraction results indicated that the MPB of PIN-PMN-PT was located around PT = 0.33-0.36, confirmed by their respective dielectric, piezoelectric and electromechanical properties. The optimum properties were found for the MPB composition 0.36PIN-0.30PMN-0.34PT, with dielectric permittivity ?r of 2970, piezoelectric coefficient d33 of 450 pC/N, planar electromechanical coupling kp of 49%, remanent polarization Pr of 31.6 μC/cm2 and TC of 245 °C. According to the results of dielectric and pyroelectric measurements, the Curie temperature TC and rhombohedral to tetragonal phase transition temperature TR-T were obtained, and the “flat” MPB for PIN-PMN-PT was achieved, indicating that the strongly curved MPB in PMN-PT system was improved by adding PIN component, offering the possibility to grow single crystals with high electromechanical properties and expanded temperature usage range (limited by TR-T).  相似文献

In the search for active cathode catalysts for polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFCs) using inexpensive materials, several valve metal oxide electrodes, TiOx, ZrOx, and TaOx, with corresponding binary oxide electrodes were selected for the evaluation of catalytic activity for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) by means of cyclic voltammetry in 0.1 M HClO4 at 60 °C. These oxide electrodes were prepared mainly by the dip-coating method on a titanium plate substrate at a temperature between 400 °C and 500 °C and were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffractometry (XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Among the oxide-coated electrodes investigated, Ti0.7Zr0.3Ox/Ti provided the highest ORR specific activity, with an onset potential, EORR, of 0.86 V vs. RHE during the cathodic potential sweep. Fine TaOx particles prepared as an extension of the dip-coating method, showed very high catalytic activity determined by means of hydrodynamic voltammetry in 0.1 M HClO4 at 30 °C with an EORR of 0.90 V vs. RHE.  相似文献

Specific surface area change of ZrO2 (predominant tetragonal - (t) symmetry, 30-50 nm) and less refractory TiO2 anatase nanoparticles (20-50 nm) upon isothermal firing at 700-1000 °C in air was determined by N2 adsorption-desorption hysteresis isotherm. The nanoparticles underwent onset coarsening-coalescence within minutes without appreciable phase transformation for TiO2, but with extensive transformation into monoclinic (m-) symmetry for ZrO2. The apparent activation energy of such a process being not much higher for ZrO2 (77 ± 23 kJ/mol) than TiO2 (56 ± 3 kJ/mol) nanoparticles can be attributed to transformation plasticity. The minimum temperature for coarsening/coalescence of the present ZrO2 and TiO2 nanoparticles was estimated as 710 and 641 °C, respectively.  相似文献

A series of compounds La2Mo2−xWxO9 (x = 0-2) were synthesized using a freeze-dried precursor method at relatively low temperatures (673-823 K). These materials were characterised by thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis (TG/DTA), differential scanning calorimetric (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and dilatometric measurements. Oxygen stoichiometry was evaluated by coulometric titration and thermogravimetric analysis at 873-1273 K. The ionic and electronic conductivities of these materials were analysed by impedance spectroscopy and a Hebb-Wagner ion-blocking method under moderately reducing conditions. The presence of W6+ leads to an increase of the stability range (about 10−16 Pa for La2Mo0.5W1.5O9 at 1073 K) and prevents oxygen loss and amorphisation. Within the stability range, the electronic conductivity increases gradually as the temperature increases and as the oxygen partial pressure reduces. This indicates that the electronic transport is mainly n-type as a result of the oxygen-content decreasing in the molybdate lattice. Further reduction of the oxygen partial pressure gave rise to the decomposition of La2Mo2−xWxO9, leading to the formation of new phases with molybdenum in lower oxidation states, which further enhances the electronic conductivity. The results of the coulometric titration and the thermogravimetric studies under a dry 5% H2/Ar flow suggest that tungsten doped lanthanum molybdate materials can be used as electrolyte only at low temperature and under moderate reducing conditions.  相似文献

(1 − x)Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3-xMgAl2O4(x = 25, 30, 35 and 40 wt%) composite ceramics were prepared by conventional solid-state reaction method. The microstructures, dielectric properties and tunability of the composites have been investigated. The XRD patterns analysis reveals two crystalline phases, a cubic perovskite structure Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 (BST) and a spinel structure MgAl2O4 (MA). SEM observations show that the BST grains slightly dwindle and agglomerate with increasing amounts of MA. A dielectric peak with very strong frequency dispersion is observed at higher MA content, and the Curie temperature shifts to a higher temperature with increasing MA content. The ceramic sample with 30 wt% MA has the optimized properties: the dielectric constant is 1503, the dielectric loss is 0.003 at 10 kHz and 25 °C, the tunability is 23.63% under a dc electric field of 1.0 kV/mm, which is suitable for ferroelectric phase shifter.  相似文献

A series of the BaFeO3 − x perovskite catalysts was synthesized by a sol-gel method using citric acid and/or EDTA as complexants with a purpose to improve their sulfur-resistance by forming a uniform perovskite structure at a low calcination temperature, i.e. 750 °C. The thermogravimetry results show that almost no carbonate was formed after calcination of the xerogel precursor with the complexants' molar ratio of CA/EDTA ≤ 1.5, which was convinced by the in situ DRIFT spectra results of the Ba-Fe-1 catalyst during the SO2/O2 sorption. It indicates that, after adding EDTA into the complexants, the metal ions of the raw material could be mixed homogeneously and react stoichiometrically by calcination at 750 °C to form a uniform perovskite structure. Accordingly, the obtained Ba-Fe-1 perovskite presented a performed sulfur-resistance. Moreover, the seriously damaged structure of the BaFeO3 − x perovskite by reduction could be in situ regenerated by calcination under lean conditions at 400 °C, which is within the operating temperature zone of the aftertreatment system of diesel to meet the real commercial demands.  相似文献

Trimerization of isobutene to produce isobutene trimers has been investigated over WOx/ZrO2 catalysts that were obtained by wet-impregnation and successive calcination at high temperatures. Very stable isobutene conversion and high selectivity for trimers are attained over a WOx/ZrO2 catalyst obtained by calcination at 700 °C. From the XRD study it can be understood that tetragonal ZrO2 is beneficial for stable performance; however, monoclinic ZrO2 is not good for trimerization. Nitrogen adsorption and FTIR experiments suggest that amorphous WOx/ZrO2 is inefficient catalyst even though it has high surface area and high concentration of acid sites. The observed performance with the increased selectivity and stable conversion demonstrates that a WOx/ZrO2 having tetragonal zirconia, even with decreased porosity and acid sites, is one of the best catalysts to exhibit stable and high conversion, high selectivity for trimers and facile regeneration.  相似文献
