A heat-regenerative adsorption refrigerator using spiral plate heat exchangers as adsorbers and an adsorption heat pump for air conditioning using plate fin heat exchangers as adsorbers have been developed and researched, experimental research results are shown. The activated carbon–methanol adsorption pair is used for the two adsorption systems, which yield a refrigeration power density of more than 2·6 kg ice per day per kg activated carbon and 150 W kg−1 activated carbon for air conditioning, respectively. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Among the gas-solid adsorption processes the zeolite water adsorption seems to be very interesting for use in thermodynamic systems such as chemical heat pump, heat transformer and cooling systems. This work evaluates theoretically the best type of zeolite for use in each system on the basis of the adsorption data of zeolites using prefixed operative conditions. Results obtained indicate that thermodynamically a given zeolite type achieves better results than the others for each of the abovementioned systems. Methodology and criterion of comparison used can be applied to other gas-solid processes aiming at realizing chemical heat pump, heat transformer and cooling systems.  相似文献

One of the most important objects of research in the field of energy conservation is development of a high temperature heat pump for the industrial sector. In this framework this paper introduces a new concept of heat pump, which is a hybrid between a compressor and chemical heat pump, where instead of the latent heat of liquids, the proposed system uses the heat of gaseous catalytic reversible reactions (type A → B + C). This paper proposes a simple scheme with a mathematical model for the calculation of the parameters necessary to qualify the behaviour of the Heat Reaction Chemical Heat Pump (HRCHP). The Coefficient of Performance (COP) is calculated as a function of the temperature of the heat source, the temperature to which the pump upgrades the heat and the conversion of the chemical reaction. This research is concerned with the technology of heat pump assisted drying of specialty crops. A simplified procedure for modelling the performance of a low temperature heat pump dryer was developed. The system modelled consists of a vapour compression heat pump coupled to a continuous cross flow bed dryer. An adsorption heat pump with a direct contact system for steam generation has been developed and the feasibility of the proposed system was confirmed both theoretically and experimentally. The basic cycle for the system has been proposed to use zeolite–water working pairs in the p‐T‐x equilibrium curve. To generate steam above 150°C from low‐energy level water at 80°C, a direct contact adsorption heat pump prototype was constructed. The experimental results show that steam could be generated by the direct contact system and the relationship between the amount of water adsorbed and the change in temperature with time is discussed. This study is expected to serve as a foundation for developing continuous adsorption heat pump systems for steam generation. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This work is concerned with the investigation of an adsorption heat pump using hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants. A small-scale rig was used to study the performance of several combinations of refrigerant and activated carbon which might be used in an adsorption heat pump. The possibility of producing cold heat energy by a super active carbon/ethanol adsorption heat pump (AHP) with a packed bed type adsorber is discussed on the basis of both experimental and calculated results of the transient behavior accompanied by this operation. The trend in experimental results for heat and mass transfer agrees well with computer simulation for closed-system, one-component, non-isothermal conditions in both the adsorption and desorption processes. The super active carbon/ethanol AHP proposed generates a high level of cold heat energy by raising the desorption temperature. Therefore, this AHP is applicable to a refrigerator. However, it is suggested that enhancement of heat transfer in the adsorber is indispensable to obtain a high power from this type of AHP. © 1997 Scripta Technica, Inc. 以深层地源热泵地埋管换热器为研究对象,对其换热特性进行数值模拟和实验研究。建立考虑轴向地温梯度的深层地埋管换热器传热模型并进行模拟计算,通过示范工程现场测试数据验证该模型的正确性。对深层地埋管换热器换热的性能稳定性进行研究,发现深层地埋管换热器连续长期运行及间歇长期运行下换热性能基本稳定。当按不同运停比运行时,岩土温度恢复效果良好。研究结果表明深层地源热泵有较好的换热性能及运行稳定性,为深层地热能的开发利用提供了新思路。  相似文献

A large number of ground-coupled heat pump (GCHP) systems have been used in residential and commercial buildings throughout the world due to the attractive advantages of high efficiency and environmental friendliness. This paper gives a detailed literature review of the research and developments of the vertical-borehole GCHP technology for applications in air-conditioning. A general introduction on the ground source heat pump system and its development is briefly presented first. Then, the most typical simulation models of the vertical ground heat exchangers currently available are summarized in detail including the heat transfer processes outside and inside the boreholes. The various design/simulation programs for vertical GCHP systems primarily based on the typical simulation models are also reviewed in this paper. Finally, the various hybrid GCHP systems for cooling or heating-dominated buildings are well described. It is found that the GCHP technology can be used both in cold and hot weather areas and the energy saving potential is significant.  相似文献

In order to provide high performance silica gel for an adsorption heat pump (AHP), gels were synthesized using the sol-gel process modified with a new method of controlling the primary gel particle growth by the addition of aluminum ion. In this process, the pores of the silica gel synthesized became smaller when aluminum ion was added in the washing process. Furthermore, this silica gel adsorbed more water at a low region of water vapor pressure and its adsorption ability did not change after 100 repetitive times of adsorping/desorping water vapor. The experimental results from the water vapor adsorption on the silica gel agreed well with theoretical results obtained under the Lump model for heat transfer and intraparticle diffusion model for mass transfer. A new direct heat exchange silica gel module (DS-module) for the AHP was provided, and the heat transfer characteristics during the operation for the adsorption of water vapor were both experimentally and theoretically determined. The period of the adsorption for the DS-module was shorter than that for a silica gel/tube module. Therefore, with the addition of the DS-module the heat transfer in the AHP adsorber was sufficiently enhanced and the maximum heat generation power for the 2-mm-thick DS-module was obtained. © 1997 Scripta Technica, Inc. 我国许多行业对热源的需求温度多集中在75~200℃之间,且存在着低温余热大量浪费的情况,可以把热能由低温位热源转移到高温位热源的中高温热泵技术有着巨大的应用空间。对高温热泵的研究多集中在适宜工质的选择和制热效率提高这两个方面。国外的研究起步较早,混合工质方面的研究成果目前仍处于技术保密阶段。国内研究起步较晚,主要研究成果集中在高校,但尚未找到一种公认的环境友好、性能优越的高温热泵工质。近几年,国内在油田含油污水的余热回收.坑口电厂冷却水和矿井涌水的余热回收,涂装、电镀车间余热回收等领域进行了高温热泵技术的实际性工程应用,经济效益和环保显著.不仅节省了大量的化石能源,而且减少了二氧化碳的排放。但高温热泵技术在实际应用中还存在设备腐蚀等问题.需要结合余热源的具体情况采取相应的措施加以解决。  相似文献

The olive oil mill wastewater presents serious environmental threats. In this study, adsorption heat pumps utilizing zeolite coatings were proposed for olive oil mills as a helping tool for the treatment of wastewater, as well as for providing a cooling effect, which may especially be useful to prevent thermal deterioration of the olive oil. The performance of a heat pump using two adsorbers operating with waste heat was determined for different operating conditions. It was established that a sufficiently high amount of olive oil wastewater might be treated in such a system when a suitable source of waste heat is used for heating the adsorbers of the heat pump. 基于流态冰的冰源热泵可以利用近冰点淡水或海水相变潜热作为热源,具有采暖能效高、适用性广的特点。为研究新型冰源热泵在采暖期的能效及经济性,选取我国典型供暖区域的5个城市作为研究对象,结合近5年采暖期各城市的气象参数,分别模拟计算空气源热泵、冰源热泵、地源热泵的系统能效。通过计算各热泵机组的初投资及采暖期运行费用,确定了不同类型热泵系统的静态投资回收期。结果表明,本文提出的新型冰源热泵在采暖期的系统能效较高,为2.8 ~ 3.2。相较于空气源热泵和地源热泵,哈尔滨地区冰源热泵系统的初投资及运行费用最低,不存在静态投资回收期。在北京、郑州、武汉、南京地区的静态投资回收期分别为3.0年、5.1年、2.3年、2.6年。基于流态冰的冰源热泵在冬季供暖方面有很好的应用前景。  相似文献
