This paper reviews the published literature on the uses of oleochemical surfactants and lubricants in the textile industry
with a dual emphasis on textile technology and effects that oleochemicals can have on that technology. Oleochemical derivatives
are used in the textile industry as surfactants, emulsifiers, wetting agents, antistatic agents, softeners, antimicrobial
agents, water and oil repellents, antisoil agents, lubricants, cohesive agents and dyeing assistants. The relationship between
the amount of fatty acid derivatives consumed in textile operations and global fiber production is discussed. Small amounts
of oleochemicals acting at interfaces are invaluable in their effects on textiles. Oleochemical surfactant chemical and physical
properties of importance in textile operations are described, and the relationships between certain properties of oleochemicals
and their performance on textile fibers are reviewed. The basic principles and technology of spin finishes and textile processing
aids are discussed. The effects of oleochemical surfactants in dyeing and as finishing agents for textile fibers are described

Biobased surfactants were synthesized using poly(glycerol-succinate) as the polar head group and variable acyl groups as hydrophobic tails. Acyl chain lengths ranged from 8 to 14 carbon atoms. The resulting oligomeric surfactants were characterized by quantitative 13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), acid values and size exclusion chromatography. Investigation of the physicochemical properties of the acyl poly(glycerol-succinate) surfactants revealed their potential for use in a wide array of applications. The acyl poly(glycerol-succinate) functional properties appeared to be particularly concentration-dependent. This study highlights the relative impact of acyl chain length on the polymeric structure, physicochemical and functional behaviors, and biodegradability of the acyl poly(glycerol-succinate) surfactants. 相似文献

The superior physicochemical properties of gemini and oligomeric surfactants look promising in a variety of different applications. However, tedious covalent synthesis and complicated purification limit the development of these novel surfactants. Recently, it has been demonstrated as feasible to use noncovalent interactions to construct surfactant systems with the characteristics of gemini or oligomeric surfactants. This short review discusses the strategies of constructing gemini-like or oligomeric-like surfactants through noncovalent interactions by choosing proper building blocks, single-chain surfactants and gemini surfactants along with connecting molecules containing double or multiple binding sites. The current progress in this field has been summarized. This very simple and efficient way to obtain gemini and oligomeric surfactants may make a practical impact on the surfactant industry. 相似文献

Surfactants find applications in almost every chemical industry, such as household and industrial cleaning, paper, inks, agrochemicals, and personal care or pharmaceuticals. However, their production and use can have a negative impact on the environment and health. Increasing environmental concerns and the strong interest in renewable resources have led to the development of innovative and environmentally friendly surfactants produced by clean and/or sustainable technologies. The aim of this review is to explore the different types of surfactants and their architectures. Then, it will describe the two categories of renewable surfactants: biosurfactants obtained by fermentation, and bio-based surfactants containing either a bio-sourced polar head group or a bio-sourced hydrophobic tail. Finally, this review will focus on highly specialized applications of surfactants (protein crystallization, transfection, and nanotechnology), which are closely related to the ability of surfactants to organize themselves in supramolecular architectures. 相似文献

研究了醇类、聚合物、离子型表面活性剂、有机复配物等添加剂对非离子表面活性剂浊点的影响,总结出几类添加剂对非离子表面活性剂浊点的影响规律。结果表明,有机醇对浊点的影响比较复杂,聚合物随着分子链的长短对浊点的影响而不同,离子型表面活性剂的加入会有效提高非离子表面活性剂的浊点。 相似文献

研究了表面活性剂对纤维素酶活力的影响,并通过动态光散射(DLS)、荧光光谱及傅里叶变换衰减全反射红外光谱(ATR-FTIR)探讨了表面活性剂和纤维素酶的相互作用机理。DLS实验结果显示,阴离子表面活性剂吸附到了纤维素酶表面,使得阴离子表面活性剂-纤维素酶体系中的zeta电位分布在较低的负电荷区域;而非离子表面活性剂-纤维素酶与蒸馏水-纤维素酶体系中的zeta电位的分布没有明显的区别。荧光和ATR-FTIR实验说明了阴离子表面活性剂对纤维素酶的二级结构和侧链的微环境都有很大的影响。此外,对比了添加与未添加纤维素酶的洗衣液对国标污布JB-03的去污力,通过光学显微镜及扫描电镜(SEM)观察国标污布洗涤前后织物表面,发现将纤维素酶添加到洗衣液能明显提高洗衣液的去污能力。 相似文献
