激光微造型表面固体润滑性能研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
采用声光调Q二极管泵浦固体光源(DPSS)Nd:YAG激光器,在45#钢试样表面进行表面微造型加工。以聚酰亚胺(PI)和二硫化钼(MoS2)复合固体润滑材料作为固体润滑剂,通过两步加温固化黏结工艺成功制备微造型固体润滑试样。在MMW-1A型摩擦磨损试验机上进行光滑无润滑试样、光滑表面固体润滑试样和微造型固体润滑试样的摩擦性能对比试验,以及微造型固体润滑试样在不同转速和压力下的摩擦性能试验。结果表明,在经过激光加工的微凹坑中填充复合固体润滑材料的试样,在摩擦过程中微凹坑中填充的固体润滑材料能有效转移到在摩擦表面,补充消耗掉的润滑材料,因而表现出更好的摩擦学性能。  相似文献

This article presents a study of the erosion resistance of coated and uncoated polymer matrix composites for tidal turbine conditions. It focuses on the development of comparative erosive wear mode and mechanism maps for such materials. In our earlier work, testing of glass-fiber-reinforced polymer composites for tribological applications in marine simulated conditions, several erosion-related issues were highlighted. The combined effects of the NaCl solution and sand dramatically enhanced the erosive wear of the uncoated specimens. In order to address those issues, an erosion-resistant polymeric coating was applied to the composite and tested in marine simulated conditions with an extended range of sand particle size. The test results of the uncoated and coated composite have been compared in this research by erosive wear mode and mechanism maps techniques. These maps reveal that the coating has enhanced the erosion resistance. These findings provide significant progress toward materials selection approaches to manufacture of tidal turbine blades.  相似文献

Delicate microstructures in low-density polymer foams and silica aerogel are susceptible to coating damage, artifact structures induced by coating, and electron-beam damage when they are examined by conventional scanning electron microscopy (SEM) techniques. These problems can be reduced significantly and even eliminated when these materials are examined directly with no coating using low-voltage scanning electron microscopy (LVSEM). Much of the fine structure in these materials also can be resolved at low voltage in a SEM equipped with a field-emission gun (FESEM).  相似文献

A technique is described that allows the staining and subsequent visualization of polymers that contain the phosphorylcholine (PC) group. These materials are useful as bulk materials or coatings for the fabrication of medical devices. The staining method employs rhodamine 6G, which can be simply and rapidly applied to the polymer coating and imaged using fluorescence microscopy. The specificity of the staining for the PC polymers makes this technique suitable for the evaluation of a wide range of substrates and provides qualitative information on coating uniformity, coverage and morphology. It can be used to examine the durability of, and defects in, the coating. Statistical analysis of the fluorescent intensity by measuring the pixel value during imaging can allow for the method to be used as a quality control tool.  相似文献

The use of polymer laminated steels have received significant interest from the can-making industry as a potential base material, mainly due to environmental benefits and excellent solid lubrication properties. Internal corrosion prevention is also very important with food cans. Previous research has experimentally and mathematically analyzed this material, but the mechanical properties, especially the shear strength, of the polymer coating is difficult to obtain given its very small thickness. This paper obtains predictions of polymer coating strength through two approaches: a millimeter-scale approach based on a mathematical model of ironing, and a sub-micrometer scale approach based on asperity plowing with an atomic force microscope. Once piezo-strengthening effects are accounted for, the polymer strength predictions from the two methods are very close.  相似文献

An experimental protocol (workflow) has been developed for time‐lapse x‐ray nanotomography (nano‐CT) imaging of environmentally driven morphological changes to materials. Two case studies are presented. First, the leaching of nanoparticle corrosion inhibitor pigment from a polymer coating was followed over 14 days, while in the second case the corrosion damage to an AA2099 aluminium alloy was imaged over 12 hours. The protocol includes several novel aspects relevant to nano‐CT with the use of a combination of x‐ray absorption and phase contrast data to provide enhanced morphological and composition information, and hence reveal the best information to provide new insights into the changes of different phases over time. For the pigmented polymer coating containing nominally strontium aluminium polyphosphate, the strontium‐rich components within the materials are observed to leach extensively whereas the aluminium‐rich components are more resistant to dissolution. In the case of AA2099 it is found that the initial grain boundary corrosion is driven by the presence of copper‐rich phases and is then followed by the corrosion of grains of specific orientation.  相似文献
