Web based environments will typically need to maintain many documents (e.g. simulation model information and data results from multiple sites). Ideally, this information would be held in a widely utilized and highly viewable format. The eXtensible Markup Language (XML) is a new standard that meets this criteria for World Wide Web based applications. It is sophisticated enough so that complex real world structures and relationships may be captured. Large collections of XML documents can be stored for efficient retrieval using database management systems (DBMSs). Current database management is represented by the object oriented (OO) and object-relational (OR) database systems. Each type has their own query languages, Object Query Language (OQL, v.2) and Structured Query Language (SQL), respectively. These database query languages provide a high-level way to ask for information from a database. The article looks at storing and retrieving XML documents. It surveys work being done on query languages and tools for XML. Several incidents had occurred on the Louisville & Nashville (L&N) Railroad where a dynamic gauge-widening tendency was believed to exist. To investigate this possibility, rail proximity sensors were mounted on a locomotive truck to measure track gauge under dynamic load. In association with the electronic system for gauge measurement, a paint spray system was installed which sprayed the track with a clearly visible line whenever gauge exceeds a predetermined threshold value. Using this equipment, track was inspected automatically at high speed and priority defects were automatically marked for immediate repair. The gauge measuring system consisted of a pair of capacitive sensors which respond to the gaps between the sensors and their corresponding rail heads. Continuous gauge data was recorded on a two-channel oscillograph. One channel was used to record track gauge and the other was used to denote location information via coded signals manually introduced by the system operator. Verification of system performance was carried out by measuring dynamic gauge-widening effects on a carefully instrumented curve and by performing comparative unloaded measurements over many miles of track. Gauge widening under dynamic loading was observed, and the existence of this effect was verified. 相似文献

Currently, intelligent transportation systems are being developed and implemented in various forms. Advanced traffic management systems (ATMS), automatic traveler information systems (ATIS) and driver support systems are all a reality today. However, many challenges remain on the road to realizing a fully automated highway system (AHS). The complexity of developing large distributed systems such as AHS has raised warning flags in the computer science community. Unexpected complex interactions between the software and hardware can induce errors that can be fatal. 为了提高自动化药房的出药速率,实现多个出药单据药品出库时间最短。以某医院自动化药房出药系统结构为基础,建立多个出药任务单据的时间调度模型。针对此模型设计了改进的混合鲸鱼优化算法(H-WOA)。首先对多个出药单据进行整合分组,融入了遗传算法的交叉、变异,来提高种群探索的多样性;其次引入了免疫克隆算法的抗体与抗体的亲和度判定原理,来帮助构建最佳执行序列;最后结合鲸鱼算法的包围收缩和螺旋更新机制来保证种群最终收敛于最佳鲸鱼位置。实现结果表明,以3个出药单据为例,H-WOA优化算法相比原算法和未含优化算法效率分别提高了6.11%和18.11%。在4个、5个出药单据调度优化上,具有同等的优化效果。证明改进算法具有很好的寻优能力。 相似文献

In order to make collaborative business activities fruitful, it is essential to know characteristics of organizations and persons in more details and to gather information relevant to the activities. In this paper, we describe a notion of “information recycling” that actualizes these requirements by analyzing documents. The key of recycling information is to utilize annotations on documents as clues for generating user profiles and for weighting contents in the context of the activities. We also propose a method of extracting annotations on paper documents just by pressing one button with the help of techniques of camera‐based document image analysis. Experimental results demonstrate that it is fundamentally capable of acquiring annotations on paper documents on the condition that their electronic versions without annotations are available for the processing. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The primary focus of study in this paper is the background control theory for automated lane change maneuvers. We provide an analytic approach for the systematic development of controllers that will cause an autonomous vehicle to accomplish a smooth lane change suitable for use in an Automated Highway System. The design is motivated by the discontinuous availability of valid preview data from the sensing systems during lane-to-lane transitions. The task is accomplished by the generation of a virtual yaw reference and the utilization of a robust switching controller to generate steering commands that cause the vehicle to track that reference. In this way, the open loop lane change problem is converted into an equivalent virtual reference trajectory tracking problem. The approach considers optimality in elapsed time at an operating longitudinal velocity. Although the analysis is performed assuming that the road is straight, the generalization of the proposed algorithm to arbitrary road segments is rather straightforward. The outlined lane change algorithm has been implemented and tested on The Ohio State University test vehicles. Some of the experimental results are presented at the conclusion of this paper. 相似文献

The authors report a complete automated system for auditory brainstem response (ABR) identification and waveform recognition. The goal was to develop an automated analysis methodology that would facilitate the clinical use of auditory brainstem responses by reducing the time required to manually label and measure absolute and interpeak latencies. The system presented here accomplished this goal, supplying not only threshold information, but also additional diagnostically significant information. In addition, such an automated system will standardize the labeling process, which can vary depending on the labeling preference of individual clinicians. There are currently no commercially available systems capable of labeling ABR peaks or interpreting results originating from a wide range of stimulation intensities.
