In this paper, we first show that the adjustment parameter in the step size choice strategy of the modified Goldstein-Levitin-Polyak projection method proposed by He et al. for asymmetric strongly monotone variational inequality problems can be bounded away from zero by a positive constant. Under this observation, we propose a new step size rule which seems to be more practical and robust than the original one. We show that the new modified method is globally convergent under the same conditions and report some computational results to illustrate the method.  相似文献

Consider a linear system Σ that, apart from a control input and a measurement output, has two exogeneous inputs and two exogenous outputs. Controlling such a system by means of a measurement feedback compensator Σc results in a closed loop system with two inputs and two outputs. Hence, the closed loop transfer matrix can be partitioned as a two by two block matrix.The problem addressed in this paper consists of the following. In this paper, we introduce a new iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of solutions of finite mixed equilibrium problems, the set of solutions of variational inequalities for two cocoercive mappings, the set of common fixed points of an infinite family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of common fixed points of a nonexpansive semigroup in Hilbert space. Then we prove a strong convergence theorem under some suitable conditions. The results obtained in this paper extend and improve many recent ones announced by many others.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new iterative algorithm by hybrid method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of finite general mixed equilibrium problems and the set of solutions of a general variational inequality problem for finite inverse strongly monotone mappings and the set of common fixed points of infinite family of strictly pseudocontractive mappings in a real Hilbert space. Then we prove strong convergence of the scheme to a common element of the three above described sets. Our result improves and extends the corresponding results announced by many others.  相似文献

This paper presents a new approach to the problems of analysis and synthesis for quantized feedback control systems. Both single- and multiple-input cases are considered, with complete results provided for stability and H performance analysis as well as controller synthesis for discrete-time state-feedback control systems with logarithmic quantizers. The most significant feature is the utilization of a quantization dependent Lyapunov function, leading to less conservative results, which is shown both theoretically and through numerical examples.  相似文献

现有的重复控制设计不能同时优化低通滤波器的参数和重复控制器的参数.我们在设计重复控制系统以控制线性不确定对象时,解决了这个问题.首先,引入状态反馈以保证闭系统的鲁棒稳定性,把重复控制器设计问题转化为H∞状态反馈增益的设计问题.为获得低通滤波器最大转折频率,进一步将设计问题转化为基于线性矩阵不等式约束的凸优化问题.提出了一种迭代算法,用以计算低通滤波器的最大转折频率和H∞状态反馈增益.在保证系统鲁棒稳定性的同时,获得最高控制精度的重复控制器和低通滤波器的参数组合.该方法与已有方法比较,它的结果容易验证和求解,因而更适合于实际应用.最后,通过数值实例验证了本文所提方法的有效性.  相似文献

Based on the projection operator, this paper presents a continuous method model for solving general variational inequality problems (VIPs) with bound constraints. A main feature of the proposed model is that it does not involve any form of matrix information in analysing its convergence properties. Under some reasonable assumptions, the convergence results of the proposed method model are established. Numerical results on some problems show that the proposed approach is efficient and can be applied to solve large scale VIPs with bound constraints.  相似文献

The Karush–Kuhn–Tucker system of a second-order cone constrained variational inequality problem is transformed into a semismooth system of equations with the help of Fischer–Burmeister operators over second-order cones. The Clarke generalized differential of the semismooth mapping is presented. A modified Newton method with Armijo line search is proved to have global convergence with local superlinear rate of convergence under certain assumptions on the variational inequality problem. In this paper, we propose two new projection methods for solving variational inequality problems (VI). The method is simple; it uses only function evaluation and projection onto the feasible set. Under the conditions that the underlying function is continuous and satisfies some generalized monotonicity assumption, the methods are proven to converge to a solution of variational inequality globally. This paper is concerned with quantised feedback control problems for bilinear systems with actuator saturation. We propose two types of quantisers. For the first quantiser, quantised input and quantised state are considered. For the second quantiser, quantised control input is only investigated. A designed state feedback controller guarantees that the resulting closed-loop system is convergent to a small neighbourhood around the origin for every initial condition emanating from the large admissible domain. Sufficient conditions for feasibility are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Several examples are presented to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed approach.  相似文献

In this paper, we reformulate the variational inequality problem as an equivalent smooth non-linear equation system by introducing the Chen–Harker–Kanzow–Smale smoothing function. A new smoothing inexact Newton algorithm is proposed to solve the smooth equations. In each iteration, the corresponding linear system is solved approximately. We prove that the proposed algorithm converges globally and superlinearly under mild conditions. Preliminary numerical results indicate that the method is effective.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a globally convergent BFGS method to solve Variational Inequality Problems (VIPs). In fact, a globalization technique on the basis of the hyperplane projection method is applied to the BFGS method. The technique, which is independent of any merit function, is applicable for pseudo-monotone problems. The proposed method applies the BFGS direction and tries to reduce the distance of iterates to the solution set. This property, called Fejer monotonicity of iterates with respect to the solution set, is the basis of the convergence analysis. The method applied to pseudo-monotone VIP is globally convergent in the sense that subproblems always have unique solutions, and the sequence of iterates converges to a solution to the problem without any regularity assumption. Finally, some numerical simulations are included to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献

This work is motivated by a recent work on an extended linear proximal point algorithm (PPA) [B.S. He, X.L. Fu, and Z.K. Jiang, Proximal-point algorithm using a linear proximal term, J. Optim. Theory Appl. 141 (2009), pp. 299–319], which aims at relaxing the requirement of the linear proximal term of classical PPA. In this paper, we make further contributions along the line. First, we generalize the linear PPA-based contraction method by using a nonlinear proximal term instead of the linear one. A notable superiority over traditional PPA-like methods is that the nonlinear proximal term of the proposed method may not necessarily be a gradient of any functions. In addition, the nonlinearity of the proximal term makes the new method more flexible. To avoid solving a variational inequality subproblem exactly, we then propose an inexact version of the developed method, which may be more computationally attractive in terms of requiring lower computational cost. Finally, we gainfully employ our new methods to solve linearly constrained convex minimization and variational inequality problems.  相似文献

We deal with H state feedback control problem for the multi‐input‐multi‐output (MIMO) servo system and discuss the advantages of the facial reduction (FR) to the resulting linear matrix inequality (LMI) problems. In fact, as far as our usual setting, the dual of the LMI problem is not strictly feasible because the generalized plant has always stable invariant zeros. Thus FR is available to such LMI problems, and we can reduce and simplify the original LMI problem to a smaller‐size LMI problem. As a result, we observe that the numerical performance of the SDP solvers is improved. Also, as a by‐product, we obtain the best performance index of the reduced LMI problem with a closed‐form expression. This helps the H performance limitation analysis. Another contribution is to reveal that the resulting LMI problem obtained from H control problem has a finite optimal value, but no optimal solutions under an additional assumption. This is also confirmed in the numerical experiment of this paper. FR also plays an essential role in this analysis.  相似文献

Alternating direction method (ADM), which decomposes a large-scale original variational inequality (VI) problem into a series of smaller scale subproblems, is very attractive for solving a class of VI problems with a separable structure. This type of method can greatly improve the efficiency, but cannot avoid solving VI subproblems. In this paper, we propose a hybrid splitting method with variable parameters for separable VI problems. Specifically, the proposed method solves only one strongly monotone VI subproblem and a well-posed system of nonlinear equations in each iteration. The global convergence of the new method is established under some standard assumptions as those in classical ADMs. Finally, some preliminary numerical results show that the proposed method performs favourably in practice.  相似文献

Even in the presence of uncertainty in both state and output equations, we prove that global asymptotic stabilization is still possible by output feedback for a family of uncertain nonlinear systems dominated by a triangular system with a polynomial output‐dependent growth rate. In contrast to the linear growth requirement in the recent work the nonlinear perturbations in this paper are allowed to satisfy a linear growth condition with a polynomial output‐dependent rate. To handle simultaneously the polynomial nonlinearities and unknown parameter in the system output, we propose a high‐gain estimator with a dynamic gain that is updated online through a Riccati‐type dynamic equation. Then, an estimator‐based controller is designed by a recursive algorithm that makes it possible to assign the controller gains step by step. The globally stabilizing output‐feedback controller developed in this paper is robust with respect to uncertainties in the system dynamics and output equations.  相似文献
