为研制10.6μm空芯传能光纤,讨论了银层质量、碘化银层质量对空芯波导传输损耗的影响.介绍了研制波长为10.6 μm的空芯传能光纤的工艺方案及其典型参数.通过液相化学沉积法,在石英基底管内壁成功地生成了优质金属银层和碘化银电介质包层.制作了出具有高透过率的空芯红外波导.  相似文献

设计并制备了一种新型的聚酰亚胺/银空芯波导,其实验工作的重点是聚酰亚胺薄膜的制备。采用改进的液相工艺,我们在石英毛细管内制备了表面光滑均一的银膜,然后,再将近折射率非常接近理论最佳值(√2)的聚酰腚胺膜涂覆在银管内。通过控制聚酰亚胺膜的厚度,可以对银空芯波导在特定的波长处有降低损耗的作用,除了6-9μm处的基因吸收外,这种空芯波导在中红外区域的损耗都很小。在10.6μm波长处的损耗为0.4dB/m,传输能量为10w时,可以稳定传输20min以上,基本上可以满足CO2激光在医疗中的应用。  相似文献

本文作者设计并制备了一种新型的CO2激光传输用空芯波导。除了6μm-9μm处的基团吸收外,这种空芯波导在整个中红外区域的损耗都很小,在10.6μm波长处的损耗约为0.4db/m,传输能量为10W时,可以稳定传输20分钟以上,基本上可以满足CO2激光在医疗中的应用。  相似文献

文章理论分析了太赫兹波在金属镀层空芯圆波导中的传输特性.比较了在内直径为2mm的空芯圆波导中分别镀金、铅、镍不同金属时不同入射频率的太赫兹波的理论衰减常数,计算了镀不同金属而入射波波长一定的情况下波导中主模即最低模TE11模的衰减常数随波导内直径的变化情况.进一步研究表明Au,Ag,Cu均可作为空芯圆波导中优良的金属镀层以用于太赫兹波的低损耗传输.  相似文献

随着太赫兹技术的发展,太赫兹传输波导器件的研究成为待解决的重要问题之一。太赫兹波位于微波与红外光之间,寻找高效的传输、耦合器件一直是研究人员的目标。主要介绍了太赫兹传输波导研究现状,并总结了各类型太赫兹波导的优势与不足。根据材料与结构分别对金属波导、介质波导的研究进展进行了分析。其中金属波导包括裸金属线波导、微结构波导、空芯波导以及平板波导,介质波导包括介质空芯波导、多孔芯波导以及微结构波导。最后分别对太赫兹传输波导未来需要解决的研究方向进行了展望。  相似文献

研究了渐变型空芯波导(GTHW)在太赫兹波段的传输特性。基于几何光学方法,仿真分析了波导的输出光束质量和传输损耗特性。相比均匀型空芯波导,当光从渐变型空芯波导的大端传输至小端或沿相反方向传输时,渐变型波导具有特殊性能。当光从波导大端传输至小端,渐变型和均匀型波导具有相似的弯曲附加损耗,并且渐变型波导具有更高的耦合效率,便于与多种光源耦合;当光从波导小端传输至大端,渐变型波导的传输损耗和输出光束发散角更小。仿真了波导弯曲率、光源发散角和波导锥度等参数对传输损耗的影响。采用波长532 nm的半导体激光器作为光源,进行了验证实验。测量数据与仿真结果有很好的一致性。  相似文献

A metallic hollow waveguide with inner dielectric multilayers is proposed for the transmission of infrared light and its basic transmission characteristics are fully analyzed by using a two-dimensional slab waveguide model. The power loss in the waveguide is shown to be extremely reduced by coating dielectric layers properly. Simple loss formulas are also presented which consider absorptions of dielectric materials, and minimum possible losses are theoretically estimated. Finally, relations to bending losses in the waveguide are discussed.  相似文献

The transmission characteristics of curved dielectric waveguide are analyzed with a method, which combines the staircase approximation with the edge element analysis and mode matching procedure. In each stair the uniform waveguide is treated with edge element method. Then the transmission property of the whole curved guiding structure is calculated with multimode network methods. The effectiveness of the present method is justified by the results given in the literature. It is believed that this approach can be applied to a variety of curved dielectric waveguides with arbitrary transverse profiles.  相似文献

Loss formula of the dielectric tube leaky waveguide is derived by using a transverse transmission-line model which carries most of the transmitted power in air inside a dielectric tube. It is shown that low-loss leaky waveguide can be realized in optical through submillimiter wavelengths with moderate guide parameters and the transmission loss does not depend strongly on the material losses. It is also shown that the attenuation constant of this leaky waveguide is smaller than that of the hollow waveguide by several orders of magnitude.  相似文献

An air-gap Fabry-Perot resonator with plane mirrors between closely spaced fiber ends may yield low throughput because of the poor match between the modes of typical single-mode fibers and the resonant mode in the air-gap cavity. The throughput can be improved by confining the resonant mode by a hollow dielectric tube placed inside the resonator. Short fiber-coupled Fabry-Perot resonators with and without an inserted hollow dielectric waveguide and expressions for their transmission losses are derived. It is shown that the throughput of both types of resonator can be improved significantly by using fiber with large mode size to couple to the resonator. The special fiber is then spliced to a conventional single-mode fiber. It is concluded that the resonator with an inserted hollow dielectric waveguide offers increased throughput for resonators with high finesse  相似文献

介绍了GeO2介质膜空芯传能光纤的基本结构和相关的Miyagi传输损耗公式。在此基础上将通过实验得到的GeO2介质膜空芯光纤中HE11模在空芯光纤处于直线状态和弯曲状态下实测损耗值与Miyagi传输损耗公式经过插值运算得到的理论预测损耗曲线进行了比较,并分析了两者存在差异的原因。最后给出了GeO2介质膜空芯光纤在其处于直线和弯曲状态下的输出能量分布特性。  相似文献

This paper describes a computer-aided analysis of dissipation losses in uniform isolated or coupled transmission lines for microwave and millimeter-wave integrated-circuit applications. The analysis employs a quasi-TEM model for isolated transmission lines and for the even- and odd-mode transmission lines associated with coupled-line structures. The conductor and dielectric losses are then related to equivalent charge density distributions, which are evaluated using a method-of-moments solution. The transmission lines treated by this analysis may contain any number of Iossy conductors and inhomogeneous dielectrics, consisting of any number of different homogeneous dielectric regions. A development is provided to explicitly relate the four-port terminal-electrical performance of directional couplers to evaluated even- and odd- mode loss coefficients. Examples of evaluated losses are presented in graphical form for isolated lines of inverted microstrip and trapped inverted microstrip and edge-coupled microstrip with a dielectric overlay. The analysis accuracy has been confirmed using microstrip and coplanar waveguide configurations. A comparison is made of the total loss characteristics for microstrip, coplanar waveguide, inverted microstrip, and trapped inverted microstrip. Calculations are compared with measurements for the coupled-line structure. Accuracy of the solution and suggested refinements are discussed. Five computer programs are documented.  相似文献
