Experiments are conducted on pipe production from continuous-cast billet made of TP 304L and TP 316L corrosion-resistant steel from various suppliers. A wide range of pipe is industrially produced by hot pressing and cold and hot rolling. Assessment of pipe quality shows compliance with the relevant standards.  相似文献

Contact loads have been determined on the working surfaces of high-speed steel milling cutters, in which the working conditions have been extended up to the critical ones. After set intervals, the wear on the cutting surface and the hardness have been determined. This indicates that the working life of cutters made of R6M5F3-MP steel is more than twice that of tools made of traditional R6M5F3 steel.  相似文献

The changes in the structural state of high-alloy TRIP steels during cyclic deformation in low- and high-cycle fatigue regions and the cyclic cracking resistance characteristics are analyzed. The introduction of pipe-blank production (blank diameter 180 mm) from corrosion-resistant duplex steel (UNS S 31803, UNS S 32205, DIN 1.4462, and 03X22H5AM3) at PAO Dneprospetsstal’ plant is considered. The chemical composition of the melts at PAO Dneprospetsstal’ and pipe blank produced from duplex at traditional foreign suppliers is compared. The content of nonmetallic inclusions is studied, as well as the distribution and content of ferrite-austenite phases, the impact strength, the resistance to pitting corrosion, and the high-temperature deformability.  相似文献

The Pervoural’sk New Tube Plant has worked with the Metal-Shaping Department of Ural State Technical University to develop and successfully introduce a new technology for making precision capillary tubes of corrosion-resistant steel. Use of the new technology makes it possible to narrow the tolerances for diameter and wall thickness to ±0.015 mm and to establish a standard for internal surface roughness based on a maximum value of 0.80 μ for the parameter Ra (the actual roughness obtained is no greater than 0.50 μ). A commercial electroslag remelting process is designed for the production of nitrogen-bearing steel. It is shown that powders of a model high alloy consisting of spherical particles 25–50 μm in size can be synthesized from a starting ultradispersed powder, which is made of a mixture of the alloy components and is fabricated by the magnesiothermal reduction of metal chlorides in the potassium chloride melt. The synthesis includes the stages of microgranulation of an ultradispersed powder, heat treatment of microgranules, classification of the microgranules with the separation of microgranule fraction of 25–50 μm, spheroidization of the separated fraction in a thermal plasma flow, and classification with the separation of a fraction of micro- and submicrometer-sized particles.  相似文献

A more accurate, less conservative set of feeding distance (FD) and riser sizing rules is developed for high-alloy steel castings produced from alloy grades CF-8M, CA-15, HH, HK, and HP. These rules are designed to produce radiographically sound castings at 2 pct sensitivity. By comparing results between plate casting trials and the corresponding simulations of those trials, a relationship is shown to exist between a local thermal parameter known as the Niyama criterion and ASTM shrinkage X-ray level. This relationship is then used in an extensive set of casting simulations to numerically determine FDs for a wide range of casting conditions. It is shown that the FD rule developed in an analogous earlier study for carbon and low-alloy (C&LA) steels can also be used for these high-alloy grades, provided that the FD is modified by a multiplier that accounts for the high-alloy steel grade. In addition, it is shown that multipliers for superheat, sand mold materials, and the use of chills developed in the earlier work are also valid with these high-alloy steel grades. In comparison with previously published high-alloy FD rules, the present rules are shown to provide longer FDs (and hence higher casting yields) in most casting situations. This study also investigates riser sizing rules. It is determined that for open top risers, the previously published C&LA riser sizing rule is also valid for high-alloy steels. This rule is less conservative than existing high-alloy riser sizing rules, specifying smaller risers that produce higher casting yields. In addition, for vented blind top risers, it is shown that the previously published rules are also overly conservative.  相似文献

In this study,a 600 MPa hot-rolled corrosion-resistant steel plate produced by a specific company is investigated. Edge jagged defects and edge surface defects generated on both sides of the strip during production are characterized and analyzed. The results indicate that the distribution of reoxidation granules is located underneath the surface peel and that copper-containing granules diffuse along austenite grain boundaries. This phenomenon combined with the chemical composition and production parameters of a strip indicate that copper brittleness leads to edge jagged defects. However,the surface defects should be attributed to inherent defects on the surface of the strip. Measures that prevent surface oxidation and copper segregation at grain boundaries would likely eliminate these two types of edge defects.  相似文献

The possibility of making corrosion-resistant bismuth-containing 08Kh18N10T steel for machining on computer-assisted machines under mass-production conditions is estimated. The steel quality is determined from its chemical composition, macrostructure, grain size, mechanical properties, and sensitivity to intercrystalline corrosion, and the machinability of the steel is also evaluated.  相似文献
