The authors present the results of analysis of material composition and experimental investigations of acid and biohydrometallurgical leaching of middlings on grain size, pH level, leaching process duration, temperature and slurry density. The rational parameters of flotation and acid-bacterial leaching of middlings providing an efficient release of valuable components from mineral complexes and recovery to flotation concentrate and leaching solution have been determined. A combined flowsheet and a beneficiation process for bulk flotation middlings of copper–molybdenum ore have been suggested, which include middlings grinding, sulfide minerals flotation, bacterial leaching of sulfide flotation tailings, liquid-phase extraction of dissolved copper and electrolysis of re-extraction eluates. The suggested combined method of cleaning of middlings of copper–molybdenum ores beneficiation provides the total copper recovery increase by 0.8% with a reduction of the cost price of saleable material by 0.5%.  相似文献

Pretreatment of copper-bearing refractory gold ores by bio-heap leaching   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The refractory gold ores associated with rich copper and trapped in pyrite and quartz were studied. With conventional technique (all-sliming cyanidation), the gold recovery rate is only 51.78%. To eliminate the negative effects of copper and pyrite on cyanidation and increase the gold recovery rate, the investigation on bio-heap leaching pretreatment was made, by which Cu would be dissolved and gold would be liberated from pyrite. The experiment adopted mixed bacteria, mainly ThiobaciUus ferrooxidan (named T.fl ), as the bacterial catalyst for bio-preconditioning and was carried out in a PVC column with a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 1.3 m loaded with gold ores. The temperature was controlled between 28 and 30℃, the pH value was kept between 2.0-2.5, and the flux of sprinkling bacterial liquid was maintained 0.80 L/h. After 45-day's bio-oxidization, among the samples sizing from 0 to 5 mm, the oxidation rates of Cu, Fe and S were respectively 44.62%, 28.16% and 25.46%, and the gold recovery rate by cyaniding increased to 80.35%. The bio-heap leaching pretreatment can therefore effectively dissolve Cu and liberate gold from pyrite and lead to the increase of gold extraction.  相似文献

A new hydrometallurgical process for the refractory gold arsenosulfide concentrates under normal temperature and pressure was presented. The experimental results of a refractory gold concentrate show that the total consumption of NaOH in alkaline leaching is only 40% of those theoretically calculated under the conditions of full oxidization at the same oxidation of arsenic to ar-senate and sulfur to sulfate. After alkaline leaching, cyanidation and adsorption were carried out for 24 h. The dissolution of gold by NaCN is increased to 95.3% from 12.8% before pretreatment, and meanwhile 99.3% of the adsorption of gold by activated charcoal. The consumption of NaCN for one ton ore is 10 kg, which is 1.2 times less than that before pretreatment. As it is carried out under normal temperature and pressure, the investment of installations is also decreased.  相似文献

To identify and establish beneficiation techniques for banded hematite quartzite (BHQ) iron ore, a comprehensive research on BHQ ore treatment was carried out. The BHQ ore was assayed as 38.9wt% Fe, 42.5wt% SiO2, and 1.0wt% Al2O3. Efficacy of chalcopyrite bioleaching using a pure and a mixed bacterium   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
To determine the efficacy of chalcopyrite bioleaching using pure cultures of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans or Thiobacillus thiooxidans and a mixed culture composed of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans and Thiobacillus thiooxidans, experiments were carried out in shake flasks with [Fe~(2 )] 4 g.L~(-1) and S 1 g.L~(-1) at pH=1.80, 130 r/min and 30℃. The tests showed that the copper extraction in a mixed culture composed of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans and Thiobacillus thiooxidans is higher than that in a pure culture. On the other hand, an important potential of Thiobacillus thiooxidans to leaching chalcopyrite was indicated. Thiobacillus thiooxidans can prevent jarosites accumulating on the substrate and allow further copper to dissolute through the action of ferric ion. The selection of the suitable pH in a leaching solution would be significant. Thiobacillus thiooxidans and Thiobacillus ferrooxidans play an important role in the bioleaching process. Finally, the mechanism and the reason for iron precipitation were also discussed in detail.  相似文献

The scaling criteria of physical modeling of a horizontal well production are discussed. A scaled experimental model was designed and realized. The experiments of a sidetrack horizontal well production have been carried out in the system, and the production curve variation is analyzed. The oil recovery of a sidetrack horizontal well production is compared with that of a vertical well, and the effect of factors such as sidetrack drilling time, water driving rate and the length of horizontal section on oil recovery are discussed. The production of a horizontal well changed both the fluid flow direction and pressure distribution in the reservoir; as a result the remaining oil in the dead oil region is recovered, and the ultimate oil output is raised.  相似文献

To resolve the conflicting requirements of measurement precision and real-time performance speed,an im-proved algorithm for pattern classification and recognition was developed. The angular distribution of diffracted light varies with particle size. These patterns could be classified into groups with an innovative classification based upon ref-erence dust samples. After such classification patterns could be recognized easily and rapidly by minimizing the vari-ance between the reference pattern and dust sample eigenvectors. Simulation showed that the maximum recognition speed improves 20 fold. This enables the use of a single-chip,real-time inversion algorithm. An increased number of reference patterns reduced the errors in total and respiring coal dust measurements. Experiments in coal mine testify that the accuracy of sensor achieves 95%. Results indicate the improved algorithm enhances the precision and real-time ca-pability of the coal dust sensor effectively.  相似文献

This article presented an experimental research on washability of microcrystal graphite using float–sink tests. Chemical and X-ray analyses showed that graphite, semi-graphite, meta-anthracite, and anthracite existed together in this microcrystal graphite sample; and the intergrowth relationship between microcrystal graphite and gangues was very complicated based on optical mineralogy research. The results of float–sink tests revealed that: for the ?25 + 0.5 mm size fraction, about 68% (by weight) of microcrystal graphite was obtained at the density of 2.0 g/cm3, and the float product met the standard of commercial grade W65; for the ?0.5 mm size fraction, 58% (by weight) of microcrystal graphite was floated at the density of 2.0 g/cm3, which met the standard of commercial grade W70. It can be concluded that microcrystal graphite may be upgraded by dense media separation (DMS) providing a float product using as the raw materials of casting or refractories.  相似文献

The technology that waste activated carbon after extracting gold is regenerated with steam under microwave heating was studied. The influence of the activation temperature, activation duration and steam flow rate on iodine adsorption value and regeneration yield of activated carbon was investigated. The response surface methodology (RSM) technique was utilized to optimize the process conditions. The optimum conditions for the preparation of activated carbon are identified to be activation temperature of 831 ℃, activation duration of 40 min and steam flow rate of 2.67 mL/min. The optimum conditions result in an activated carbon with an iodine number of 1048 mg/g and a yield of 40%, and the BET surface area evaluated using nitrogen adsorption isotherm is 1493 m2/g, with total pore volume of 1.242 cm3/g. And the pore structure of activated carbon regenerated is mainly composed of micropores and a small amount of mesopores.  相似文献

This paper investigated the effects of potassium ferrate(PF) on the flotation performances of chalcopyrite and galena. The flotation results showed that PF obviously depressed galena, but had little effects on the floatability of chalcopyrite within p H range of 4.0–12.0. Highwall mining of thick(up to 30.48 m) steeply dipping(20° or more) coal seams provides many chal lenges, both geotechnically and operationally, as seam dips near or in excess of highwall mining machine capabilities are encountered. Maximizing coal recovery while maintaining highwall stability requires innovative techniques with regard to web and barrier pillar layout, depth of penetration, and choice of mining horizon within the seam. Stability of highwall mining slopes, openings, and pillarsare typically analyzed using the ARMPS-HWM program, as well as LAMODEL, UDEC and SLOPE/W modeling.Highwall stability can be maintained, and highwall mining production optimized by applying design cri-teria in creative ways, including alternating miner penetration depths and initiating mining of thick seams toward the bottom of the seam. Highwall mining of thick, steeply dipping coal requires careful planning and execution, including close cooperation between geotechnical design engineers, the mining company, and the highwall mining contractor. This paper describes the application of creative design techniques to a specific pit arrangement at the Westmoreland Kemmerer Mine, Kemmerer,Wyoming. The specific results of the work investigating the effect of gas density and water temperature on bubble size were present.These were surrogate variables designed to investigate the effect of viscosity(varying water temperature) and altitude(varying gas density).The results show that there is a measurable but relatively small effect of gas density on bubble size.The D32 is revealed to increase proportionally as(ρ0/ρg)0.132.The projected impact on flotation kinetics at 4500 m versus sea level is small,of the order of 0.5% recovery loss for a bank of eight flotation cells.The effect of water temperature(4-40 °C) on bubble size is more significant than gas density.The relationship correlates with water viscosity values quite closely.A finding that D32 increases proportionally as(μ/μ20)0.776 highlights the importance of accounting for viscosity effects if,for example,large process temperature fluctuations or deviation from design/test conditions are expected.  相似文献

This work aims to provide a relationship of how the key operational variables of frother type and impeller speed affect the size of bubble (D32). The study was performed using pilot-scale equipment (0.8 m^3) that is up to two orders of magnitude larger than equipment used for studies performed to date by others, and incorporated the key process variables of frother type and impeller speed. The results show that each frother family exhibits a unique CCC95-HLB relationship dependent on n (number of C-atoms in alkyl group) and m (number of propylene oxide group). Empirical models were developed to predict CCC95 from HLB associated with other two parameters a and ft. The impeller speed-bubble size tests show that D32 is unaffected by increased impeller tip speed across the range of 4.6 to 9.2 m/s (representing the industrial operating range), although D32 starts to increase below 4.6 m/s. The finding is valid for both coalescing and non-coalescing conditions. The results suggest that the bubble size and bubble size distribution (BSD) being created do not change with increasing impeller speed in the quiescent zone of the flotation.  相似文献
