The evaluation of design alternatives is an important phase for supporting design decision and for producing new design concepts, and it is repeatedly processed. To proceed with the design process in standard, the repetition is reduced to minimum, and design must be optimized in limited cost and time. For smooth and fast process, lots of design alternatives are provided within the limit of possibility and they must be evaluated appropriately. It's possible to evaluate design alternatives using various media. This paper describes the characteristics of various media that have been used for evaluation of design alternatives, and propose the evaluation system for design alternatives based on the findings of case studies.  相似文献

研制了基于BIM(Building Information Modeling)技术的钢结构工业厂房CAD/CAM软件系统。系统划分为结构计算和实体后处理等两大模块,有效地降低了软件开发的复杂度。基于面向对象的编程原理,抽象出描述实际结构零件几何信息、结构特征和设计条件的智能对象;定义了C++类的层次数据结构和逻辑联系并存储在AutoCAD图形数据库中形成三维模型;研究了参数化快捷建模、内力分析、构件验算、三维实体建模、节点设计以及二维图纸绘制等关键功能;实现了IFC接口,以及与SAP和MIDAS等软件的接口。  相似文献

The competitive market requires rapid product development. Virtual product development is a new development mode in this network times. It is featured by its dynamic development alliance, i.e., those partners are distributed in the world. This paper presents an open-system architecture for a collaborative CAD system supporting virtual product development. The software component technology is adopted to build the system. A component is a reusable application whose data and methods are exposed, and can be accessed and operated by other applications. In this system, each building element or assembly is designed as an independent component. The component agent (CA) method is used as the basic system modules. To manage these distributed CAs, a web-based interface manager is provided. The assembly shop is a product design space based on those CAs and the interface manager. To manage the collaborative session, a web-based design session manager is proposed. This paper describes such a system architecture.  相似文献

While automatic Building Information Modeling (BIM) based quantity takeoff is one of the potentially most important and profitable applications for BIM, it is still generally underexplored how BIM models respond when quantity takeoff is its primary use. This article explores the subject by presenting a case study that surveys BIM input/output dynamics for quantity takeoff, examining model behavior when constrained by existing specifications for quantity takeoff, and detailing modeling guidelines that allow the user to extract quantities according to current specifications. The authors conclude that while it is possible to adapt the model to extract quantities according to existing specifications for manual-based measurements, the adjustments are not without its implications in other model applications such as visualization or drawings. Takeoff specifications should therefore be revised in order to account for BIM's features, and thus minimizing its limitations.  相似文献

Building information modelling technology provides a game-changing solution to address the challenges encountered in the AEC industry. However, this technology currently is not sufficient to fulfil the needs of construction practitioners in terms of proactive design and planning for boarding of light-frame residential buildings. This is partially due to the fact that boarding design and planning requires trades' know-how and substantial manual effort in developing the building information models. Current manual and ad hoc decision making for boarding of light-frame buildings leads to the generation of a significant amount of material waste. This research thus proposes a rule-based automated building information model (BIM) approach for designing boarding layout and planning material sheet cutting, resulting in practically feasible solutions with minimal material waste. In this research, object-based computer-processable layout design rules are comprehensively formalised based on trades' know-how. On this basis, rule-based design algorithms are further developed and integrated with mathematical algorithms in order to automatically generate design and planning alternatives while minimising material waste. Rich information in the BIM is leveraged to automate the rule-based boarding design and planning. A prototype system is developed based on Autodesk Revit via Application Programming Interface. A typical wood-framed residential building is used as a case study to test the developed prototype system. The results show the proposed approach successfully preserves the know-how of senior trades people while also minimising material waste in automating the boarding design and planning.  相似文献

The benefits of BIM such as effective decision making, improved analysis, easier access to information and simpler green building certification provide an optimised solution for sustainable design and construction. This study proposes an IFC-based framework within an integrated BIM and sustainable data model for the design stage of the building project life cycle. We present the green building assessment tool (GBAT), which implements the proposed model and aids the design team in the generation of documentation necessary for obtaining green building certification. It extracts the necessary data from BIM models for calculating the green rating and provides feedback for further evaluation. A sample project is run and a green rating score table for the BREEAM materials category is obtained for validation of the model. This tool serves as a proof of concept that green data relevant for BREEAM certification can be automatically processed and used to inform the design.  相似文献

古建筑是我国独有的建筑体系,现有的古建筑因其悠久的历史,丰富的文化内涵具有非常大的研究价值。古建筑较长的服役时间和所处的环境往往会造成其结构脆弱,因此在不破坏古建筑原真性的基础上监测它的结构健康状况是古建筑保护工作的重中之重。本文在已有的监测手段的基础上提出了基于BIM的古建筑健康监测系统以完善古建筑结构健康监测的信息化、智能化监测模式。通过建立古建筑构件信息库和监测数据信息库通过二次开发集成于revit平台,将监测系统与古建筑三维模型相结合实现基于BIM的古建筑健康监测系统。  相似文献

While project benchmarking based on key performance indicators is regarded as a crucial technique for mature project delivery in the construction industry, incorporating it into an organization's routine is a cumbersome and time-consuming endeavor as it entails considerable time and human efforts for collecting and providing project information, and validating the quality of collected data. To overcome this challenge, this paper introduces an approach that leverages Building Information Modeling (BIM), which allows for a more streamlined benchmarking process. The approach presented in this paper focuses on healthcare projects which have been benchmarked using a comprehensive set of cost, schedule, dimension, and planning performance metrics through a mature sector-specific benchmarking program at Construction Industry Institute (CII). As an initial step in the formulation of such a tool, this paper investigates the potential of leveraging BIM for benchmarking through close scrutiny of contents embedded in real-world models collected from six healthcare projects. Functional requirements were, then, established to realize a BIM-based benchmarking tool for healthcare projects by developing conceptual process flow, use cases, and data flow diagrams. The requirements are further illustrated in mock-ups of a prototype system.  相似文献

The paper presents a design support system for collaborative work based upon the composite knowledge representation. It addresses the main challenges of distributed environment: ensuring a convenient access to the common data by multiple users and maintaining consistency of such data. The main idea is to couple the design support system implemented in C/C++ with the knowledge database using the ODBC library developed by the Microsoft. Over the last decade, building information models (BIM) have become increasingly popular. Yet their use on construction sites where the digital materializes, is limited. A technology that can bridge the gap between the digital and the real world is augmented reality (AR). We analyze this gap and the AR potential and present how the component based software engineering method can be used to efficiently implement a BIM-based AR system for construction. An architecture of the software system is proposed and verified by a prototype which was tested in a real construction project. We found out that the use of AR can significantly narrow the semantic gap between the digital model and the real world; that components for creating a BIM-based AR systems exist but currently do not scale well to large models; and that the use in AR applications creates additional requirements the for BIM models and tools, particularly related to the BIM's 4th dimension.  相似文献
