Toxic and nutrient elements were investigated in yerba mate (Ilex paraguariensis) from South America. Fifty-four brands of commercialised yerba mate from Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay were analysed for Al, Ba, Ca, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, P, Sr, and Zn, using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES), and Li, Be, Ti, V, Cr, Ni, Co, As, Se, Rb, Mo, Ag, Cd, Sb, La, Ce, Pb, Bi and U using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Antimony, Se, Ag and Bi were not detected in any sample whereas the limits of detection (LODs) of these elements were 0.19, 0.40, 0.003 and 0.001 μg g?1, respectively. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) revealed that the concentrations of Cd, Ti, Ni, As, Mo, U, Li and Be in yerba mate were not statistically different with regard to the country of origin, while those of the other investigated elements differed.  相似文献

本文建立了北京地区水果和蔬菜中40种元素的ICP-MS测定方法。利用微波消解对样品进行前处理,用ICP-MS对22种、共计114个水果和蔬菜样品中40种元素含量进行了准确测定,按照常量元素(K、P、Ca、Mg、Na和Fe)、微量元素(Zn、Sr、Rb、Mn、Ba、Cu、Ni、Mo、Cr、V、Co、Pb、As、Se、Cd、Tl、U和Ag)和稀土元素(La、Ce、Pr、Nd、Sm、Eu、Gd、Tb、Dy、Ho、Er、Tm、Yb、Lu、Sc和Y)三部分对测定结果进行了讨论,并对不同样品中的元素含量进行了对比分析,结果发现:蔬菜中各种元素的含量均高于水果中相应元素的含量,不同种类蔬菜中元素含量不同,元素含量顺序基本为绿叶类蔬菜>根茎类蔬菜>果菜类蔬菜。   相似文献

Avocado honey samples were analyzed by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometric. First, the botanical origin of the honeys was confirmed by melissopalynological analysis. Twenty-four minerals were quantified for each honey sample. The elements Al, Ba, Ca, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Li, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, P, Pb, S, Se, Si and Zn were detected in all samples; seven elements were very abundant (Ca, K, Mg, Na, P, S and Si), six were not abundant (Al, Cu, Fe, Li and Zn) and 11 were trace elements (As, Ba, Cd, Co, Cr, Mo, Ni, Mo, Pb, Se, Sr and V).  相似文献

The determination of 18 elements (V, Cr, Cu, Co, Se, Sr, Sn, Sb, Ba, Bi, Pb, Cd, As, Ni, Mn, Fe, Mg and Zn) in leaves, flowers and the infusion from Salvia fruticosa, a sage grown in Greece, is described. For this purpose, flame atomic absorption spectrometry has been used for the determination of Fe, Mg, Zn and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry has been used for the determination of V, Cr, Cu, Co, Se, Sr, Sn, Sb, Ba, Bi, Pb, Cd, As, Ni, Mn using 45Sc 72Ge, 115In and 232Th as internal standards. The elemental content was found to be in the range of 0.01 (Bi)-30.8 (Mn) mg/Kg (leaves), 0.30 (Bi)-39.1 (Mn) mg/Kg (flowers), 0.003 (Sb)-20.4 (Mn) mg/Kg (infusion) for V, Cr, Cu, Co, Se, Sr, Sn, Sb, Ba, Bi, Pb, Cd, As, Ni, Mn and in the range of 0.07 (Zn)-3.21 (Mg) g/kg (leaves) for Fe, Mg and Zn. The majority of the samples were collected from six sites in the island Crete and transplanted and grown in a model farm. Chemometric techniques were used to investigate the original site classification according to their elemental content, and it was proved that the initial cultivation sites were characterized by only five elements (Sb, V, Zn, Cd and Cr). The application of factor analysis revealed significant correlation between certain elements, denoting their common sources. In addition, the total antioxidant activity of the herbal preparation was determined by measuring the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) scavenging activity. Microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) was used to extract total antioxidants and the effect of temperature, time and solvent in the extraction efficiency was investigated. The determination of the antioxidant activity was based on the % inhibition of the absorbance signal of the radical DPPH at 515 nm, after the addition of herbal’s extract. The IC50 values were found to be in the range of 10.6–40.1 mg/L.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to examine the status of some trace metals accumulated in the flesh of Suillus grevillei mushrooms collected from the same site over two successive years. Total Ag, Al, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, P, Pb, Rb, Sr and Zn contents of fruiting bodies were determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) with ultrasonic cross-flow nebuliser. A difference (p < 0.05) was found in the contents of Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Na, Ni, Pb, Rb and Sr in caps and Fe, Na, P and Rb (p < 0.05) in stipes (Ag, Cd, Co, Cr, Ni and Pb were not determined in stipes). Natural fluctuations in trace elements’ content of Suillus grevillei collected from the same site over time is a variable that needs to be considered when assessing minerals’ nutritional status of mushrooms.  相似文献

Concentration of V, Mn, Fe, Co, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Cd, and Pb in muscle, liver, and gill tissues of red tilapia (Oreochromis spp) sampled from three different aquaculture sites which include earthen pond, ex-tin mining pool, and concrete tank in Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan, were determined using microwave-assisted digestion–inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry. Accumulation patterns relating organs and elements, as well as origins and elements, were evaluated using multivariate statistics. With the aid of principal component analysis, it is possible to visualize the distribution pattern of metals in different organs as well as clustering tendencies of tilapia samples according to the production sites. In general, levels of V, Co, Fe, Cu, Zn, Se, and Cd in liver were higher than those in muscles and gills, whereas Mn and Pb were higher in gills while As in muscles. Results from principal component analysis revealed that there are similar pattern of metal distribution among organs regardless of the production sites. It is also suggested that Cu, As, and Pb are the best describers in characterizing the studied organs, where liver tissues are associated with high Cu, gills with high Pb, and muscles with high As. On the other hand, V, Co, and Pb are observed to be key discriminants for sample origins.  相似文献

The contribution of urban effluents to the total metal fluxes carried toward the sea by the St. Lawrence, a major world river, is 60% for Ag; 8-13% for Cu, Zn, Mo, Cd, and Bi; and less than 3% for all other measured elements (Al, V, Cr, Mn, Fe Co, Ni, As, Rb, Sr, Zr, Cs, Ba, W, Re, Pb, Th, U). This is inferred from measurements at the Montreal wastewater treatment plant. Except for Ag, municipal effluents do not weigh heavily on the St. Lawrence River metal budget, likely because of the physical-chemical primary treatment applied to most effluents. Compared to direct atmospheric deposition on the surface of the river, effluents would contribute half as much Pb and one-tenth as much Zn. In contrast, effluents deliver twice as much Cd and six times as much Cu as the atmosphere. Stable Pb isotope ratios (206Pb/207Pb, 206Pb/208Pb) in suspended particulate matter from the river indicate that the total Pb content in the river water is three times higher than the pristine level. The ratios of Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, and Cd to Al in suspended particulate matter are high as compared to pre-industrial sediments, which suggeststhattrace elementfluxes are higher today. To decrease metal levels in the St. Lawrence River further will be a challenge since the sources of metals are not well-known.  相似文献

目的建立电感耦合等离子体质谱法(inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry,ICP-MS)测定虾皮中K、Na、Ca、Mg、Fe、Mn、Cu、Zn、P、Li、Al、V、Cr、Co、Ni、As、Rb、Sr、Se、Mo、Ag、Cd、Pb、Ba、Ga、Cs、Ti、Bi 28种元素含量的分析方法。方法采用硝酸-过氧化氢消解体系,通过在线加入Ge、Rh、Re内标进行基体效应校正,碰撞反应池模式(kinetic energy discrimination,KED)消除多原子离子干扰,以国家标准物质大虾(GBW 10050)为研究对象,验证方法准确度。结果方法检出限为0.001-0.681 mg/kg,相对标准偏差(relative standard deviations,RSD)为0.6%~8.2%,各元素标准曲线线性关系良好,相关系数r2大于0.999,样品回收率为87.4%~110.0%。虾皮中常量元素K、Na、Ca、Mg等含量较高,Pb、Cd、Cr等重金属元素含量较低,Al、As需根据其存在形态评估可能存在的健康安全风险。结论该方法准确高效,灵敏度高,可应用于虾皮样品分析。  相似文献

用硝酸-H2O2作消解剂进行微波消解,以电感耦合等离子体发射光谱法测定泰顺地区6 种茶叶中的Fe、Mn、Zn、Cd、Cu、Se、Pb、Co、Sn、V、Cr、Ni 12 种微量元素含量。结果表明:在优化条件下,茶叶样品中所测元素的加标回收率为92.0%~106.5%,相对标准偏差小于5.0%,测定方法简便、快速、准确。所测泰顺茶叶样品含有丰富的有益微量元素,Cd、Pb、Cr等重金属元素含量均低于相关的国家限量标准。  相似文献

Concentrations of As, Ba, Cd, Co, Mn, Pb, Se, Sr, V, Cu, Fe, Mg, Zn and Mo were determined in conventional and home-produced eggs as sold in Brazil. Thirty-four conventional and 21 home-produced samples were obtained in different Brazilian cities. Elements were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Concentrations of Ba, Cd, Co, Pb, Se, Fe, Zn and Mo in conventional and home-produced eggs differed (statistically significant). Correlations were found among the other elements in both production systems. The estimated daily intake for toxic elements based on Brazilian egg consumption did not exceed the toxicological reference values. The results clearly demonstrated that eggs are an important source of essential elements such as Mo, Fe, Se and Zn.  相似文献

Three sour cherry and three table grape cultivars were analyzed using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry. The elements: Na, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, Cr, Cd, Co, Pb, and Ni were detected in all samples; four elements are very abundant (K, Na, Ca, and Mg), and four are not abundant (Cu, Fe, Mn, and Zn). Five of them are trace elements (Cr, Cd, Co, Pb, and Ni) at <0.1 mg/kg. Among the 13 elements analyzed, potassium was the most abundant element distributed throughout all categories of fruits. Iron was the predominant minor element constituents. Manganese concentration was the highest in table grape cultivars. The accuracy of the results was evaluated by spike recovery tests. Analysis of variance was used to establish the metals with significant difference in mean content between the cultivars from sour cherries and between table grapes. Principal component analysis was used to evaluate the distribution of metals.  相似文献

Analyses of 42 sewage sludges from rural and industrial towns in England and Wales show very large concentrations of certain trace elements. Total contents of 5% Zn, nearly 1% Cr and Cu and 0.5 % Ni were found in certain dried sludges. Total contents of Cu, Sn and Zn and, to a lesser extent, Ag, Bi and Pb were much greater than the levels of these elements in soils. Total Cr and Ni were very high in a small number of samples. Acetic acid-soluble Zn and Cu levels were generally very much greater than in soils. Overall, Mn, Ni and Zn had considerably higher percentage solubilities than Cr, Cu, Mo, Pb, Sn and V. Zinc, Cu and Ni appear to be the elements most likely to give rise to toxicity problems in plants due to the use of sewage sludge as a soil additive.  相似文献

In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), overall diabetes prevalence in adult population is around 20%. Along with, or instead of oral hypoglycemic drugs and insulin, some patients use bitter gourd (Momrodica charantia) because of its hypoglycemic properties. The aim of this study was to assess the essential (Ca, Mg, V, Cr, Mn, Co, Cu, Zn, and Mo) and toxic (As, Cd, Hg, and Pb) trace elements of bitter gourd using inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Mean concentrations of each essential element were compared with literature data. Toxic As and Cd could not be detected, while Hg and Pb concentrations in our samples were much lower compared to values reported previously from contaminated areas. Results obtained in our study after ICP-MS/MW analysis, indicate that bitter gourd can be a good source of essential elements.  相似文献

Abstract: Yellow‐cracking Bolete (Xerocomus subtomentosus) mushrooms and soil were collected from Note? Forest–a large forested enclave in western part of Poland. Mercury was determined by cold vapour atomic absorption spectroscopy and the other elements by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy. K, P, and Mg were particularly abundant, with mean values of 46000, 8400, and 1100 mg/kg dry weight (dw) in caps followed by Na, Rb, Zn, and Ca with mean concentrations of 580, 350, 200, and 170 mg/kg dw, respectively. In descending order, the mean concentrations of Fe, Al, Cu, and Mn were 52, 49, 46, and 14 mg/kg dw, while the mean for the remaining elements was around 1.0 mg/kg dw or less. The elements such as Ca, Cu, Hg, K, Mg, Na, P, Rb, Zn, Ag, Cd, and Ni were accumulated (with bioconcentration factor (BCF) > 1), while Al, Ba, Fe, Mn, Sr, Co, Cr, and Pb were excluded (BCF < 1) in the fruiting bodies. The Pb and Cd content did not exceed the maximum levels set by the EU for cultivated mushrooms. Mercury in a conventional meal (300 g) portion of Yellow‐cracking Bolete was far below the provisionally tolerable weekly intake of 0.004 mg/kg body weight (bw) as reevaluated recently by WHO. Practical Application: The method presented in this study allows one to determine the content of 20 elements (Ag, Al, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, K, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, P, Pb, Rb, Sr, and Zn) in caps and stipes of Yellow‐cracking Bolete (Xerocomus subtomentosus) mushrooms and soil samples collected from Poland. This study has revealed that the total Cd, Hg, and Pb dose provided to human body due to consumption of Yellow‐cracking Bolete does not pose threat to a consumer's health.  相似文献

Concentrations of 20 minor, trace and ultratrace elements relevant to human health (Ag, Al, As, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Li, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Sb, Se, Si, Sn, V) were determined in four different varieties of the most consumed cheese in Lebanon (Halloumi, Double Crème, Baladi, Labneh) sampled at five different provinces (Grand Beirut, South of Lebanon, North of Lebanon, Mount of Lebanon and Beka’a) during the wet and dry seasons. The analyses were carried out by double focussing sector field inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) in order to avoid errors due to polyatomic interferences. Levels of toxic elements (As, Cd, Pb) were generally below the WHO permissible levels in dairy products. Concentrations of most elements were considerably affected by the type of cheese, the geographical site and the season of sampling.  相似文献

Sample contamination as a consequence of abrasion of grinding tools during the homogenization of food materials to be analysed for trace elements was addressed. The possible release of 15 trace elements (Al, As, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Se, Sn, V, Zn) from six different grinding and milling devices, operating either continuously or discontinuously, was evaluated. All the devices were commercially available and were representative of models usually employed in food and agricultural laboratories. Wheat grains belonging to one soft and one durum cultivar were used as test material. The determination of the analyte concentrations in subsamples submitted to the different preparation treatments was performed by quadrupole inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (Q-ICPMS). Accordingly, a suitable digestion method was developed and the ArC+ interference affecting Cr determination was evaluated and corrected. Statistical differences with respect to the control were detected for 10 elements (Al, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb) and in most cases contamination of the samples was traced back to the composition of the grinding equipment. None of the investigated devices was contamination-free with respect to all of the quantified elements. Abrasion of the grinding tools was higher with durum wheat than with soft wheat as a consequence of their different hardness.  相似文献

Concentrations of Fe, Cu, Ni, Cr, Pb, Mn, Zn and Cd in pork, beef, turkey and chicken samples were determined using inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). The mean concentration ranges in milligrams per 100?g of the studied metals in all samples were 0.6924–1.2154 for Fe, 0.6492–0.9831 for Cu, 0.0012–0.0027 for Pb, 0.041–0.0510 for Ni, 0.1186–0.1481 for Mn, 0.7257–5.2726 for Zn and 0.0042–0.0050 for Cd. The levels of analysed elements were in accordance with European standards for all metals except for manganese in all samples and for nickel in a certain number of samples. Zn level in beef was significantly higher compared to other samples, and Pb and Cd were found in concentrations well below the recommended daily intake.  相似文献

建立用带八极杆碰撞/反应池的电感耦合等离子体质谱仪(ORS-ICP-MS)测定食品添加剂铝色素中V、Cr、Mn、Fe、Co、Ni、Cu、Zn、As、Ag、Cd、Sn、Sb、Ba、Hg、Pb 16种重金属元素的分析方法。样品用盐酸+硝酸分解后,试液直接用ORS-ICP-MS法测定16种重金属元素。采用ORS,在池内引入惰性气体氦气或氢气,有效地消除了多原子离子对待测元素的干扰,确定实验的最佳测定条件。结果表明:各元素的检出限在0.016~1.124μg/L之间,加标回收率在90.6%~106.6%之间,相对标准偏差(RSD)小于3.79%。  相似文献

分析西施舌可食部分不同部位微量元素含量,评价其营养价值和重金属污染情况。用硝酸-高氯酸消化法消解组织,用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱(inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry technique,ICP-AES)法测定黄海日照、东海漳州、北部湾越南某海区(毗邻广西北海)3个地区西施舌闭壳肌、外套膜、斧足、鳃、内脏团5个部位(组织/器官)的12种元素。比较Ag、As、Cd、Co、Cr、Cu、Fe、Mn、Pb、Se、Sn、Zn元素在不同地域和不同部位的分布和含量。结果显示:10种元素的加标回收率为78.3%~112.1%,相对标准偏差为0.16%~7.46%;西施舌富含Fe、Zn、Mn、Cu、Se等人体必需的微量元素,Ag和Sn元素含量低;多数元素在同域不同部位的含量存在显著差异(P<0.05),日照西施舌外套膜、内脏团Fe的含量显著(P<0.05)高于同域其他组织及漳州、越南西施舌所有组织;西施舌As、Cd的含量超过国家卫生限量标准,但Cd的含量低于世界卫生组织、澳大利亚、香港的限量标准。  相似文献
